I phoned this company a couple of days before my real from state move together with my demand incl a run from my possessions and they could adapt on this short note that was good. I obtained a 1 page informational sheet/contract without anything else for me to sign agreeing with this fee which was 925. For: two man team, 5 hours labour included. Any extra labour @ $60hr. The incl 5 hrs labour was consumed only packing the truck (Mind you, I didn’t have”chambers” of furniture. Be aware: they had been unprepared with adequate moving blankets/wrap so bulk of my things proceeded unprotected which were subsequently put carelessly and without a idea into the moving truck.
They didn’t arrive in my new place until approximately 9:30ish and left around 11:30/12am from 3pm.
When they started unpacking the truck, it had been evident that they were emotionally done and only started ditching my items where they saw distance. When it came time to get my bed frame and mattress, then they simply dumped the mattress on the ground! (2 mattress covers on the bed were ripped and ripped because of them jamming, pulling and pushing it thru the front door to then just push my wash $1400. Mattress across the filthy common place floor!) Do not set up this stage. They outright expressed to me that they had been too tired to put this up! Come back to observe a day or two later(I’m single and ill and not able to move a king size mattress alone), my mattress stage was broken and missing components in addition to other ruined furniture They also took together, my shifting blankets that were believed to be sent back to me personally. I’ve yet to get. They left without permitting me to appear in the truck to affirm everything was unpacked.
I emailed Emily together with my dissatisfaction and worry yourself with my broken furniture, therapy and of this invoice that had improved by more than 300!
She became quite agitated and defensive maybe not needing to listen to anything I had to say. Completely unwilling to substitute my mattress framework that cost all of $275 and reluctant to negotiate this $360 unfair charge(stated to be 6hrs extra labour. Nonsense! They left my house at 3pm coming at new house around 9:30 leaving fresh house at 11:30ish). She’s charging me to the 6hrs”that they” took getting into me. Inappropriate. In hopes of brushing off me, Emily even went so low as to accuse me of flirting with the boys and inviting them to stay at the evening. This accusation completely and totally put me into shock.
Primarily, that Isn’t my character; I Don’t run myself in that Fashion
2ndly, I’m old enough to be their mom.
3rdly, I don’t enjoy liars, ignorance and unprofessionalism. I haven’t heard from Emily. I’ve filed many complaints with a small number of bureaus and an lawyer!
