I texted, called and left messages with Carl. He finally got me back and explained his boss will phone the driver and that we would not need to pay that excess charge. We didn’t observe this followed through, so we did cover this excess fee. The guys delivering our stuff weren’t even in the Moving Experts. We believed we hired professionals. This is a lie. They picked up my items and explained I would find them in florida at the conclusion of the week- newest start of the following week. I had been told my things was in Texas to than find out two weeks after it never left California. They attempted to blame the storm. Than I had been told it’d get to Florida until Irma would even come close. I had been lied to again. I had been harrased by the driver of this truck the day until he wished to deliver. If your items do not pile perfectly like uniform-sized boxes, then they will take up more room. So basically, they’re charging you for all this dead space from the van. Contracted packers from Sacramento, dreadful, no expertise,ruined a few of my things. 2 deliveries for my own furniture, boxes etc. 3 months apart. 2nd delivery had my own mattresses so had nothing to sleep on for 3 months. Problem #3. Outsourcing. You’ll see a trend on those testimonials of people complaining about 3rd party companies/rented trucks; they’re all contractors, i.e. they do not care for you. You’re LEGALLY ENTITLED to be aware of the license numbers and get information for many movers. Moving Experts never gave us this even after a few requests so we can maybe track down our items. Nothing.

Problem #4. They lie. Matt will tell you anything to sell you. Get whatever in writing. As soon as they tell you something, follow up with an email verification. I promise that they will back-track. And Ryan will not care he whined – do not bother trying.

Problem #5. They maintain your things hostage whenever you don’t wish to pay ridiculous fees. Should you use this business, when they shed your things, since they will, please understand you’re not legally bound to cover the complete amount as mentioned; however, you ought to sue them to receive it as they will completely ignore you differently.

Other issues during our relocation:

Truck driver came at 6:30 pm but didn’t begin unloading until 7:30 pm after helpers arrived. Driver refused to go back the following morning. Finally completed unloading about 11:00 pm. The loaders didn’t unblanket our possessions as our contract stated that they would, and that I still have heaps of transport blankets on website here. They dropped or failed to send over 15 percent of our house for tens of thousands of dollars in loss to me personally. Are not able to gather any claim reimbursement from the business.

WORST MOVE actually (Michael Edward Howard 646-849-3864) was the individual who gave me quote. Moved from Dallas to NY, I was 7 weeks pregnant under strain of movement. I had been given quote of about $3K. Pick up date was two days prior to my flight. Movers did not appear on day they assumed to pickup, they called and said have some truck leasing problems in order that they can’t come and will come following moment. During fall off, men were high school kids who could hardly lift box. My husband did significant work. Movers didn’t even had a tool box to build table or bed. My husband has built everything. Ultimately two boxes were lost, mattress have dirt spots, novel cases came busted, bed frame had all scratches. Man this was a DISASTROUS MOVE. Hint I can give is that there can be little hope for those movers that actually come house look in the stuff & give quote. I’d claim for damaged items with CSI and they settled the claim for $81 that is absurd & stated if I take the $ I’ve no right to write an overview regarding the MOVING PROS, that seemed brutal. I haven’t taken settlement $ just to write this review.

Read the Yelp testimonials & believe all of the bad reviews, they are 100% authentic and the great ones are fake. This firm is a complete scam. They gain your confidence when sealing the bargain & everything after is a complete nightmare.

This firm was a scam from the get go! My mum who had been moving out of Reno, NV to Grants Pass, OR was charged double for what she had been quoted, as well as worse she had been billed even more when they eventually came with her belongings nearly a month afterwards.
