I hired this company to transfer me in New Jersey to California. I had an excellent experience from begin to finish. I needed to proceed quite fast for family motives. I have to say I was really a little cynical because last time I moved I employed pods and didn’t the transfer largely by myself that was tough.This time when I needed to transfer I did not have enough opportunity to package for myself. Among my friends recommended I utilize these movers. So I contacted them,and while there certainly were several issues along the way that they were rather minute. They had been a couple of minutes behind that did frustrate me into some level because for this being a household crisis, but I was having a person sit there while they picked up my own things. She advised me that they were very professional and really did nicely with all the packaging for her. She did however tell me that they had been approximately 30-45 minutes late. They didn’t apologize and offer her an excuse to their lateness, also had contacted me with regard to it so I managed to ensure she had been conscious of it also. When they came with my things they had been for the most part in excellent condition. I’d have a vest which was scratched up a bit, but I wasn’t really worried too much about it since it had been on the rear side of it, and was not that visible for me or anybody else I just repaired it with a wood colour corrector and went on my company. The men were very fast and effective when unloading my things, and be sure to be more cautious especially with all my delicate products. For the large part this business did a fantastic job, and even less costly than pods also. I had a fantastic experience whatsoever. I know who to call the next time I choose to proceed.

This is a mainly negative review so I may Too start with the positive comments:
I was astonished with how fast my things came. By NJ to Denver in 4 days is wonderful.

I had a beneficial and not so positive interaction with the sales staff. I picked MovingPro since the sales staff was the very personable on the phone. But once I paid I didn’t get communicating back from them when requesting them to upgrade my quotation that ended with my quote skipping $700 if the movers came. I’d have chosen to sell more things if I’d known. My next criticism is that the sales staff promised a day pick up time and the client support staff intentionally told me earnings doesn’t say in that conclusion, so of course I needed to take off work.

Now for the problems that I faced with my things being delivered (and have not been addressed even though emailing Moving Guru ):

1) The motorist charged me $250 for extended haul charge. I analyzed the space and it had been less than 150 ft. Considering that the very first $75 ft is comprised, I had been fined $175. The motorist didn’t record the charge, therefore I don’t have any way to confirm this so that is partially my fault and partially his for making the most of me in a stressful circumstance.

2) It’s obvious they don’t take good care of packaging items. All boxes were so damaged they might not be reused. All 6 bins I’d were cracked and had lost grips. I’d an end table which has been busted and my mattress has been deformed.

I wouldn’t recommend this business unless time is the sole priority, you don’t have breakable items, also you’ll be able to stick until the driver about more fees.

I initially went for this business due to my first contact with Cheryl who had been private and professional and quite valuable. Everything went smooth in pickup, I’d more things than anticipated. . .oh well. I return home to California and that I tried phoning the number on the paperwork-no answer. I made 3 messages and hung up two without leaving messages from frustration since I never got a callback. Then I emailed Cheryl who stated she’d have somebody call me it took two days and if they did it had been Supervisor Mike who had been argumentative, rude and unkind to me essentially blaming me to the organization’s telephone issues. I asked for a reduction for the problem and he advised me to establish I tried phoning. I asked to talk to somebody previously and he chose to talk louder and over me until I said I no longer wanted to speak to him and wished to talk to somebody above him on Monday 7/17/17 morning. Now organizing delivery into the storage center, I inquired if the 4-5 parts of furniture can be sent to my house and the remainder to the storage center. Originally, I was informed if it had been under 6 kilometers it was liberated once I gave them the address of this storage facility and supported delivery asking again the furniture shipping into the home that’s 4.26 miles away from the storage center Supervisor Mike explained the fee is $75.00! People avoid this guy!!! $75.00 to get 4.26 miles will you kidding me????? Mike, you’re not a great entrepreneur nor do you care for your own customers-SHAME ON YOU AND I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW NOT TO USE YOUR SERVICE!!!!

Chris in earnings offered me on”we’re a trusted family owned company.” Family owned? Maybe. Trustworthy? Certainly NOT.

The motorist lied about the measurements of the truck at an effort to bill me to get more square footage. Needed to quantify facing him. Acted like he’d been through this before.

Perfect seat damaged/torn throughout movement. The cheapest appraisal I obtained was 200. After several unreturned calls and also a debilitating insurance claim procedure I had been provided $64 for my own issues. As soon as I rejected them, I noticed that a month after they changed insurance and that I had to re-file my own claim. Much more unreturned calls.

I used this company to move furniture in New York to Florida to the old mum. This is the worst experience we have had through this shifting process. The business was extremely responsive until they have paid. We reported several problems like; missing things, broken things and disappointing customer support. Matters lost or broken were at least $1000.00 in value. I got a settlement check for $168.00! Awful firm. Don’t use!

Absolutely don’t think about that this outfit for transferring. After spending $700 within the quote, my belongings came at TX after 21 days. I had been quoted 6 – 10 days. My first 50 inch TV display was ruined along with two end tables and a lamp have been also broken. My vacuum and an entire closet full of matches and a few paintings were lost. I’ll give them 1 star for coming for pickup punctually. If you believe Moving Guru is bad wait till you submit a claim with their insurance company CSI Experts, they’re 10x worse, registered a claim 3 weeks past, haven’t seen a nickel plus they produce the claim filing process a nightmare to attempt to discourage you from actually filing it.

Thinking back, I made my first mistake by logging on Home Advisor to obtain a moving company. My next error was when I hired Transferring Guru, in Passaic, NJ without calling North American Van Lines to obtain their quote first.
The very first difficulty with Moving Professional that made me quite upset, was obviously the fees. My binding prices went from $2300-$3600, Because Moving Pro in Passaic, NJ doesn’t conduct house estimates-they attempted to gauge your home size by square feet utilizing the phone!
The Second problem with Moving Guru that made me really mad, was that the shipping period. My pickup day was April 20 at the Philadelphia suburbs, my delivery date was May 3 into the Orlando suburbs. The agent from speeding Pro said that the move and may contractually take 14 business days, however he said”they usually send in 3 to 5 times .” Accepting this advice was my third error, you rely on the days-it’s 13 and that is a while to wait, renting a hotel room!
The next difficulty with Moving Pro which made me really mad is the middleman, even though I really don’t know who that was. The contents of my home have been picked up by three considerate and professional moving guys. The contents of my house where delivered by just two guys and one girl, also very considerate and professional. However, the middleman would be the individuals who moved my merchandise from the box truck that picked up, to the semi trailer that delivered. Like I said at the beginning of the review, I’ve had five moves throughout the country line with North American Van Lines-NEVER’ve I had as numerous damages like I have experienced with Transferring Pro in Passaic, NJ!!!! Yes, I’ll be submitting damages.

Where do I start? To begin with, the Agency had me essentially sign my rights for regaining away any damages but not accurately explaining the accountability part, something I am sure he had been well trained on. Secondly, they shed a few of my household products and refused to think about reimbursing me since I did not unpack my boxes and then scrutinize them while the movers weren’t not there. Really?! Just how am I supposed to do this when they piled the boxes in my garage and I am the only one accessible to unpack them. Don’t USE!
They lie for one to sign the contract. They don’t send someone out to quote your items. They suppose and bind you to a contract. They select you your items and include $1000 for their initial quote. They take your items first and then inform you about the altered price, once they have your possessions. They include more costly packaging costs and holding costs. They essentially hold your items hostage and you also don’t have to proceed on the time or date that’s most effective for you or which you contracted.
Customer service is rude and not helpful. They go out of their way to become a hassle and also make things harder. They lie and lie whenever they have trapped in a lie, since they do no just program on Monday. DO NOT USE THEM! It’s a SCAM!

Glen Kapplin sales rep did not perform an exact quote and we had been informed it was a issue and their manager will call me the next day that I never obtained. I called for two hours that the a.m. of scheduled transferred eventually getting through and informed that they had been minding our cash and nobody has been showing up. We had a two story, triple garage, and outside building free of inspector and closing on the home the following day. Moving Experts treated us just like we’d done something wrong and could have cared less. STAY AWAY!!
