Transferring Max was contracted to transfer my 3 bedroom home from Long Branch into Somerset. Movers came punctually could of preferred 4 movers however had been ensured 3 was adequate. To my surprise that they had been correct, given I helped here and there  but general movers did a fantastic job. My things were all delivered in good shape. I have to express that the movers did go above and beyond if they needed to make my pool table upward spiral stair cases. For a minute I thought they wouldnt be able to however the forman Frank obtained in appropriate in no issue. So because of this I give then a fantastic score. I’ve not only been duped by Transferring Max, however they have ruined my own possessions.   THEY REFUSE TO ANSWER MY CALLS, RETURN MY EMAILS, OR RETURN THE MONEY THEY ROBBED FROM ME, NOR PAY FOR THE DAMAGES.     I originally asked a cost estimate, on a moving search agent and obtained the email with 3 moving companies. Transferring Max has been the first among the and also the very first to call me on my mobile phone. I talked with Lisa (Manager) around 1/20/14 and she offered me $75 for 3 guys and a truck. I informed me I had a 1 bedroom, but possessed my personal appliances; big side-by-side fridge, two gasoline stove stoves, big LG washer and drier (front loaders), complete dining room dining table, 8 chairs, server, living area & bedroom furniture along with already packed boxes. After about two weeks, she came down online and explained;”The last cost is $70 for 3 guys and a truck. I think because of the unlawful manner this firm has conducted their company, that they aren’t permitted by law to remain at the Moving Company. I scheduled an appointment one month prior to the date I was scheduled to proceed. I got a confirmation email on September 18, 2013. The movers never showed up. When I called to Learn if there was a delay, then I had been advised that the appointment hadn’t been supported by Diane, the manager.   I read her the confirmation email, which I purchased from Carrie Armstrong she explained that there should have been a mistake and she’d attempt to get a truck come to my flat in the day at 1:30 p.m.. She stated that she’d send me another confirmation email using all the new time that she never delivered. About an hour after, I discovered another moving firm which provided same day moving solutions and so I phoned Diane back to cancel. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional and she hung up the phone on me. I called back to talk to her boss and she explained that she had been the manager and the owners spouse. I also reported the company to the Better Business Bureau. Their permit amount is 39PM00109400.   Save yourself the time and aggravation. Don’t use this moving business.

This is very much a bait and switch.   They estimate you $75 an hour for 3 men one truck.   They do not let you know that the minimal time is 5 hours.   I just moved two blocks off or that they”should” wrap everything to the tune of $300 additional. Plus I needed to cover milage from north jersey to my city in south jersey, never revealed.   They informed me that there was milage fee, I said I am just moving two cubes, they stated then no big deal.   Never said that I needed to pay out of their warehouse.   They billed for additional stops, when I had been informed which was also”no big deal, do not worry”.   They billed for stairs in both areas, when I also told them when obtaining the quotation that there were stairs in both areas.   My True bill arrived in 3x over the quotation.   BEWARE!   All these are scam artists. The men that came are extremely pleasant, but the provider is terrible.

The business lent me $75 a hourwithout any additional costs over the telephone. (I recently discovered it’s illegal to do this and they need to perform a visual quote ). After the movers came they hurried me through assessing extra newspapers. After they’d all of my property from the truck that they given me a hand-written itemized charge for about $1700!!! I’m one individual having 3 rooms of furniture. Then they demanded that I give them money or money order or my house wouldn’t be ignored. They proceeded up to to conceal the truck along with my things until I coughed up the cash. I had been made to visit the bank and I got a credit account for my own documents. As soon as I phoned the owners spouse back to inform her why I had the cash that the truck magically appeared. But they would not take a formal bank check. WHY?! Since not only are they frauding us they’re frauding that the IRS!! I had been made to return to the lender and receive them money. They eventually unloaded rather than prepare the furniture as promised. They also banged up my doors and walls rather than delivered a repairman as promised with all the insurance. The moving men showed around 2 hours late in a classic Budget truck with tape as a belt… At this stage I became really suspicious.  I went online to see testimonials on the business and realized I had made a major mistake!

The man, Rob known as a girl back in the office (I think her name was Sara) we needed to speak with her from his telephone just through speaker phone.  She had been totally horrible, Rob told me she had been among those owners.  She had been so unprofessional and didn’t supply some understanding as to why we had been quoted one price and then charged differently.  She referred us back into the email which didn’t mention any thing besides $75 a hour.  I’ve stored the email.

I feel like that was a Bait & Switch since the first price was presumed to be $600 and then once they came they began incorporating all these extra charges, many which weren’t hauled until the bill had been passed over.  The business is only going to accept cash or money order, no personal checks or credit cards.  At the end $1200 money was paid to possess the truck opened along with the things unloaded.

SCAM!!!   These men lied over the telephone and explained that they won’t bill for lifts, 1 flight of stairs and traveling time. The humorous thing is that they lady told me that they don’t have to bill for travel time since the workplace is just 7 minutes away. They billed around $1300 longer than that which they anticipated. The foreman”Frank” advised me that I had been”Blindsided”.  I had been provided a quote of 3 hours at $75.00 per hour to 3 guys along with the truck.  My final bill was $1234.00 and that I just moved from a storage device 10×15 and proceeded 15 miles off.  This provider isn’t to be reliable.  I fell for this scam.  Do your self a favor and stay far far away from Max Movers.

I proceeded with shifting maximum I had a terrific encounter I transferred a two bed room they had been punctually really considerate and extremely economical. Transferring max is absurd. This really is the worst business I might have managed in US. They’re LIARS,  please be sure nobody I say nobody employs this business due to their own moving.
I phoned them that they gave me a quotation about $70, to get a transfer on Sunday, to transfer things out of my 1 bed apt. To my new house. In  my situation, we’d made each of the boxes and restricted big items such as couch, dining table etc.. As determined and made certain by me a few times, using their employees Kerry as well as their supervisor additionally, the truck with 3 guys were assumed to come in 10am. But rather than 10am they arrived 2 hours early at 8am, God knows why; they’d send us a confirmation email also, of 10am. We were still preparing a few boxes, so we never anticipated this, but still we accomodated and advised them to wait for 15 minutes, however they’ve waited in the most 5 minutes and left without even telling us. Then we phoned their workplace, they politely told me that they will be present at 10am.  However, nobody showed up, we have to have waited for them about 5 hours & may have known a few times leaving messagesand to not be picked up moving in their replying m/c. At approximately 3:30pm that the supervisor returned my phone and said that her men were there and then we were not prepared, or so the truck abandoned.
This is wholly crazy, they explained that the men shall be in my clever at 10 am, it is not our fault because the verified period was 10am maybe not 8am, and after this nobody ends up and finally they attempt to set the blame on us. I cancelled the entire contract  straight away.  They loathed my entire afternoon , time wasted, and now I must get an another moving business and also just take off to a working day, since the proceeding on Sunday did not happen. 
I didnt loose cash with these kinds of men but I dont even have compensated leaves in my job, therefore that I will loose cash taking a off to a working day.
This organization and their direction are completely unprofessional. It appears they may’ve got a better deal for your time slot that they guaranteed us and played with this trick. They’re liars, really very unreliable rather than to their own word. No regard for their clients and appeared like they could ditch the client due to their interests/profit.
Advise from me & my wife never utilize this moving business.

Earnt a fresh way which we could be robbed this way…. In the time of this quotation they’ve give a quotation of 300 but there was a delay in my conclusion for 4 hrs so that I was prepared to cover hourly 75*4 to the excess time… However they many hidden fees that could kill u just like anything….paid in complete of 1373.85. . .worst experince in my entire life. . This was my initial moving with a business and are the final dealing with a firm

This company is only a scam and they’ll maintain your belonging hostage until you pay them at least 5 times what they offered you, in CASH.  They’ll simply accept CASH!  I’ve not ever been so violated since I have by this business!!!  My story is exactly the same as the others…

Thieves! They ship out an internet quote and then after they load the truck up that they hold you up for longer fees. They state that unless you pay their inflated fees they will set your possessions in storage. Then once you talk together they’re rigid, stubborn and rude. I wouldn’t ever suggest them.

Horrible experince with Moving Max, Inc..  We had been quoted $75/hour out of Lisa.  We clarified in detail the conditions of where we’re going, how much, number of bedrooms, stairs, lifts, EVERYTHING.  The sum we ended up having to cover was 3x times the sum borrowed.  They didn’t completely explain the additional charges ($400 for transferring upward stairs!?) .

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE.  They’ll SCAM YOU TOO!

Beware this business!!! They state $75 per hour for 3 men and a truck. They don’t inform you fees for packaging material, fees for stairs and fees for driving to a place. To get a 5 hour job, they’ll suppose 9 hours and then REFUSE TO UNLOAD the truck in your destination without charge. Avoid THIS COMPANY!!!!

I received a call in moving maximum nj (Transferring Max, Inc. 6-20 Plaza Road, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410 1-855-817-7900   Permit # 39PM00109402) when I stumbled searching for moving estimates online.  They provided me an upfront estimate of $75/hour on telephone and email. It clearly said that the hours begins to be counted after the movers arrive in the pickup place and finishes at when they depart the shipping location. My replicated enquiry over telephone affirmed that they offer you a set rate plus they do not charge anything extra like fuel fee, time incurred in tarvelling into the pickup point, and in coming from your shipping pointare not insured. Thinking their words I reserved this provider. Upon arriving in my lpickup ocation following a hour delay, the very first thing that these hackers did would be to demonstrate a lot of newspaper and asked me to sign. However, these scammers knowing fully well thatno you will seek  their support should you by chance read the true contract newspaper. He asked me to sign a record that says that” IF YOU DON’T AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITION, THEY WILL CHARGE YOU 250$ ALONG WITH FUEL EXPENSES AND 75a HOUR FROM THEIR OFFICE TO BACK”. This would roughly work out to be approximately 600$.   I strongly listened to signal that [EDIT] of  newspaper because I did not”EVEN KNOW WHAT IS CONTAINED IN THEIR TERMS AND CONDITION”.  But he convinced me stating that whatever ever speed that was provided in email along with over telephone is exactly the same, there’s absolutely no change in states. Believing his words and since I had no choice because it was my very last day of my rental in the flat, I reluctantly signed it.  Upon signing, he showed me package of documents and asked me to sign them, which comprises all of the stipulations of this contract. He cleverly bypassed All of the terms which are contradictory to that which was consented by highlighting only those phrases That Are same to one that they deliver you over email.   I immediately understood that they induce you to pay all glass and wooden posts, regardless of what state they are. They bill you to the duct tapes, masking substance etc.. I objected to a substances being covered, however they won’t allow you to do so. I wasn’t much concerned because I expected that the men will bill me another 100$ additional. The entire loading took 1 hrs and after a hour of traveling the truck combined with three movers (such as the driver) arrived in the new site. I anticipated that the unloading would require 1 hrs greatest and the overall hours adds up to (1 1 1 )hrs, appx 4 hrs. I anticipated 300$ and packaging stuff (duct tapes etc ) to price about another 100 $. However, to my surprise that they man handed me a bill near 1000$ and explained that” HE won’t UNLOAD THE ITEMS UNLESS I PAY HIM 980$”. I asked him that the mathematics behind his calculation, as it pertains their fraud to mild They bill you for scaling the stairs ( they knew ahead that I had been on the next floor) (50 $ per person) They do bill labour charges additional He explained that minimal you need to pay for 5 hrs They bill you for the hours that they will need to return to their location in the fall of stage. I hgot annoyed and called the cops, sadly , they weren’t in a position to assist me since the man showed the newspapers that I signed.  They’re cleverly exploiting the loopholes in the law. They never accept card or cheque payment. They only accept cash.   I wound up paying 980$, since he had all of my possessions and held me for ransom. In summary”That is a large scamming business. They tactically exploit the loopholes in the lawenforcement. They snare clients by providing profitable deals. Everything is concealed. They actually hold you for ransom with all your possessions at their own asses. They do daylight robbery. They law ought to catch them up.     “NEVER BELIVE THEIR WORDS” THEY ARE SCAMERS. I was quoted a quote of $250 for a 1 room proceed.  The movers were 21/2 hours late, Additionally, the email I received for a quote didn’t include travel time and recorded the fall off points.  I had been charged $620 to get a movement that required an hour and received no assistance or resoultion when talking with their direction. 
Avoid these scam artists no matter what!  My second stop is in tiny claims court!
