Moving Depot

ZERO STARS. We proceeded cross-country with Transferring Depot. The arrangement took 3 months to arrive, with bad customer support in between. We’re missing 7 items of substantial value, and also had 3 things broken to the point of not being useable.

We also received things not belonging to us, which I noticed once I fortunately opened the box up. When I explained this on the L.A.-based inspector from Expert Moving Company who unloaded our things in the vehicle, he explained that this mix-up of people’s possessions”has occurred during our last few movements.” I requested them to remove the things, and if doing this they also took an product which didn’t belong to me – but it had been busted (a glass table leading into a coffee table). I grabbed this as he had been bringing the thing to the truck, and dread he had been carrying it because he didn’t need me to view it had busted. The mover also said that many things were busted during their last few movements.

The movers were also unwilling to dissemble our sofa (it comes apart into two pieces, we’ve proceeded with it a few times), and consequently didn’t bring it in to our flat. They rather told me I would need to leave it to the sidewalk to market it. We reached a compromise to set it in the driveway, but now I will need to employ another mover to deliver up the sofa.

When I complained about the ceremony, the movers wouldn’t allow me to replace the money I’d given them using a cashier’s check. I had been told I still had to cover the complete sum, even though I didn’t get a lot of my most precious items and the sofa wasn’t attracted to the flat. They provided no recourse, stating I would need to bring this up to dispatch. In addition they made a racist remark about the employees out of shipment, which I found offensive.

Missing items: big wood dining room table, half of our hardwood entertainment system, big flat screen TV, Peloton bike, king-sized mattress, and guitar

Damaged items: Stainless steel garbage can, glass top to get a side table, serving bowl

I’d give it a 0 star when at all possible. This was undoubtedly the worst nightmare going encounter with these individuals. They quote one price and then after picking out your house they state they will package it and indicate it however they do not. They take your house bagged, boxed or nevertheless and they pile down it, heavy boxes at the top of things that are lighter, your belongings will get scratched , banged up and they do not care whether it becomes damaged or if it’s missing. The two on the telephone & in person they’re quite rude. Then they farm out again to motorists that might or might not talk English. They totally freaked out and nearly ran away when we had been shooting photos for proof of payment and delivery. We were advised to do so for evidence we compensated. Additionally they will not unload the vehicle until you cover them entirely up front, until they float. They’ve no customer service skills at all. The driver will not lift a finger, so he would not help unload. Just two individuals showed up although we had been assured 3. We were assured we would not need to assist because my husband is medically unable to, however if they began to unload that he had been expected to do everything. We did not even know who was forthcoming, along with the title of the enterprise to examine them before the move since the BROKER put up it and then both parties behaved as they did not understand another firm! Transferring Depot maintained our home hostage till we agreed to pay nearly DOUBLE the borrowed amount. Each of those boxes, and several things were bankrupt, several boxes were dented or ripped and 4 were lost. We had only 3 legs into our own bed. The standard of the movement was extremely bad. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They’ll take your cash and you’ll be locked in together before you pay them a sum they constitute (and yes, it had been negotiated, not real ). They pick up your belongings, take it into a warehouse, then split it in a rush, then reload days after after all new discussions are complete and then reload into a different truck and then bring for you, weeks afterwards. UHAUL is safest and best. If you need it done correctly, secure rather than broke or lost, utilize your loved ones or friends or youthful college athletes and cover them yourself! Worst experience in my entire life.

They dropped 12 big box’s a thick cast iron classic sowing Machine worth 2k or longer,billed 200+ $ more to professionally pack a antiques Grand father clock which should have clued me in to cancel the move.They did not pack it only wear the truck since it had been. My sisters enjoyed them foolishly with outside studying all of their negative testimonials and F rating with the BBB better business Bureau. They left listen fill out a pile of newspaper work to allow them to help keep her busy and out of the way when loading the truck. Unfortunately I could not be there with her when the movers arrived. Afterward when delivered in Idaho,they threatened to leave our things from the front door of the heated uhaul storage device when she did not give them more cash. They insisted on accepting the sole money she had on here to unload the vehicle and set it in our storage. No wonder theyAre a money n run just company that does not accept charge cards. I believe this business has more law suits afterward shifting experience. A month today because my sister has heard nothing from such movers around we are -our misplaced our stolen things are! Whatever of value inexplicably vanished.
