These movers transferred us twice within a span of a month or two. The same stuff, different men for every movement. The next move took over two times as long incorporating a major growth in my price along with the movers ruined our walls into the extent that they had repainting and archiving. Additionally, the boxes have been set in arbitrary rooms needing us to re-move just about all of the boxes into the proper rooms. We contacted the owner, Ronnie, that originally stated he’d reimburse to the repairs required and probably reimburse a number of the shifting price. It’s been a few months now and he won’t return telephone calls and we’ve obtained NO reimbursement. Terrible experience. Terrible customer support!!!
We hired Ron Fulmer and his firm Movers and Groovers at 2015, and throughout our move among his workers stole near $10,000 in jewelry and family heirlooms; this worker systematically selected and pocketed over a dozen things out of two homes and maintained a box onto the truck from being sent. (Witnesses at a nearby pawn shop confirmed watching portions of our lost jewelry after being exhibited pictures.) This worker is a repeat offender with an extensive criminal record. Movers and Groovers was reckless and negligent in hiring him and giving him access to our houses.
During our ordeal, Ron Fulmer was dismissive, uncooperative, and finally unresponsive. He refused responsibility, telling us he had advised the worker to not steal anything! We filed his company’s insurance coverage form – double, by certified mail –
Nevertheless, they came back to us unclaimed and unacknowledged by him or Movers and Groovers.
This really is an instance of gross neglect so we sued Ron Fulmer and Movers and Groovers.
We won a decision, which was listed together with the Charleston County Clerk of Court in Addition to the Charleston County Sheriff’s office. It’s but one of 3 judgements presently on record against Movers and Groovers.
