Allow the buyer BEWARE! This unethical business will be run by liars and cheats!! They lure you in with reduced prices then twice the prices until they remove leaving you trapped to cover!! The proprietor is. A scumbag in every way! The office employees are slick discussing snakecharmers!! The moving team is outside unprofessional and so are much more like ghetto street hustlers!!! Do not allow the only other inspection fool you. . .it was likely composed from the scumbag owner himself!! STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN FROM MOVE LAME THAT [EDIT] SURE Aren’t Wise NOR MORE IMPORTANTLY ETHICAL!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

The encounter was a nightmare. The sales man agreed on time and date Aug. 28 between 9am & 10am. The day ahead at 5pm I had been phoned and told that they could not adapt that time since mine was a little job and would not be in a position to get it done before 4pm or 5pm to exactly the identical date. As soon as I explained that was dumb I had been told well, there is nothing we could do.That was mike the dispatcher, impolite as could be. After many telephone calls back and forth with all the sales person also, and receiving no where we completed the occupation. Ten minutes after we were phoned and informed they’d be there in the originally scheduled time. The young guys who did the real movement proved very accommodating and respectful also did a very fantastic job. As soon as I attempted to pay by credit card that I had been told he could not accept it since he did not possess the cc machine so he phoned Anthony, I believe he is the proprietor, and I talked to him personally and said I will provide you the cc amount it is just like the one that you used for my own deposit. He explained, money or they wouldn’t abandon the furniture. As soon as I explained I did not have the money and did not know the issue with carrying the cc, he proceeded to inform me to select the cc and stick it up my a_ _! I obviously wanted my furniture so had to go earn money. . .The individuals that operate the company are both liars, rude, ugly and very respectful. I’ll be making a complaint to BBB. It was anxiety from start to finish. . .The expression is indeed correct. . .You get exactly what you pay for! Never again stay as far away from such shysters as you can!

The encounter was a nightmare. To begin with, the plaintiff seemed professional and nice on the telephone, but what he told us, from the quotation into the payment and tidal details couldn’t have been farther away from the truth and what actually happened that day! It was also shocking to find that even though the stock was hauled very exactly originally, the last bill was more than twice the quotation. And we had to run to get money in the bank to cover the organization or else they wouldn’t open the truck in the shipping location!!! A detail which was not revealed to us throughout the reservation process – and needless to say, it was not stated either that credit and debit cards weren’t accepted.

My bill proved to be a flate rate statement for two guys 4 months, the sales guy told me that the listing of things for stock was only a round about foundation of things plus they wouldnt be moving just off the listing, showing up for 9am start period plus that I had a $50.00 deposit. Instead, they werent going to bill me for stairs and the one thing extra will be moving equipment if I had to roll glass. Couches and television were presumed to be wrapped contained in the purchase price.
I obtained 3 guys about the truck, and they had been 45 minutes late and when I inquired about the 3 guys they informed me I’d be saving cash. Also with all the excess man somehow the gasoline cost also went up. It was assumed to be flat rate for about $365. . .They didnt have anything at the home apart from furniture, not even the items which were on the record, they didnt wrap my sofas and now my sofas have salt and snow around them, they didnt keep it at the storage device the proper manner even tho the salesman advised me to depart the storage device into the men they know exactly what their doing and they needed $429 if we got to the storage device differently they wouldnt take the items from the truck and also didnt subtract the $50 they informed me that I get that back on Monday and they billed me for two flights of stairs. The guys on the automobile were dreadful calling me names informing me that they arent carrying anything but whats on the record (they didnt and I proceeded for 3 days once they arrived ) Guys were cursing at me, projecting my furniture about telling me thats how they get it done while 1 man was lifitng mattresses up along with another two men were nowhere to be discovered along with blatently were disrespectful and rude. Then after I went to receive my reception they shot off at the truck along with my items from the trunk still.
I called the main office and the primary man was telling me that I had been an incredible b*tch and crying at me and yelling at me and asked me when I needed a limousine ride to AC with tickets to some show and kept hanging up on me and explained I needed to wait to receive my $50 back that I had been told could emerge the top of this speed of $365. . .It didnt and that they kept my things for the complete sum of 429. Told him that I was planning to sue him and that he began speaking like a small woman saying NO NO Please dont do this you f*ck*ng b*tch and wrapped me up and havent replied me because.
We find out a bit more than 2 weeks after that they’ve employed my credit card to purchase lunch in a restaurant with their workplace. Even tho it’s illegal to carry onto individuals credit cards after using them.

What a fiasco. In scanning over my arrangement, I had been worried about the quote being respected because they suppressed my cubic feet of possessions. I flew 2,000 miles to be there till they load the vehicle. No truck, they finally sent a different truck once I needed to fly out after an entire week in the city. I emailed photos of these contents of my personal storage components and has been assured that they had been”inside the parameters of this contract”. The movers came, also refused to accept some of my possessions unless I pay an extra $2k. Ultimately, I had them leave half of my possessions. Figuring out, Proceed Smart is only a broker, and leaves one at the lurch to manage the driver and team. Then you cover the remainder to them! Unethical??? I’m writing this to the day that they loaded my possessions. I’ll find out whether they arrive or maybe not. I’m searching for restitution for the first deposit, or even 6 weeks of lease for my storage space that still has half of my possessions. We are going to see. Should they honor and make restitution I guarantee to update my own review.

This provider isn’t trustworthy! I have done a video walk through of my home together with the sales representative and got a quotation of just under 8K. It had been agreed on in order to package on 15 October 2019 and pick-up 16 October 2019. MoveSmart subcontracted the transfer into Ocean Moving and Storage. The movers (Ocean Storage and Moving ) insisted that they package and load on precisely the exact same moment. Not only did they all appear late to package, they didn’t depart until after 9pm. Additionally they stepped on and broke off my 60 in tv! The movers also had my wife sign another contract altering the cost earlier agreed upon by MoveSmart. I also had to make payment to the new contract until they left together with my house hold products. The cost is currently nearer to 11K for its transfer. I was also informed that the house hold products are in a climate controlled storage with Proceed Smart. I discovered of the movers that my house hold products are heading to Kansas City first to be placed on another truck and wouldn’t be put in a climate controlled storage. Personally, I think Move Smart is employing unethical business practices in minimum and skirting the authorized parameters. Don’t Use MOVE SMART!!!

I’d provide them negative stars if I could. We hired this”moving company” to maneuver a relative out of Arizona to Colorado. Figuring out that they aren’t really a moving business. They collect a charge and then set you up with another moving business. The whole experience was dreadful. If you wish to get nowhere quickly then work together. On 4 different occasions we phoned and spoke to Jack (who says he is a manger). He is very good at saying”he will start looking in to it and return for you,” and then never call you straight back. Took 3 months to everything to be sent. The business they subcontracted with has been also horrific. Boxes were ruined, things were left behind, and lost upon delivery, motorists and transferring crew were impolite and unprofessional. Can NEVER use them again. Buyer beware!

Not certain where to get started. Started looking for a very long distance moving firm around 4/8/2020. 1st time shifting long distance. Came across many firms (I understand today that they were agents ). Proceed Smart made me feel comfy and that I reputable”Paul Trent”. Told him EVERYTHING were we moving. Small 2 bedroom flat. Quoted $1578 to get 286 cuft. I really don’t understand exactly what 286 cubic feet resembles, but I trustworthy Move Smart. Movers (Shield Vanlines in NJ) arrive at NY around 4/25/2020. Big Budget truck. They begin moving and inform me we’re taking up far more distance than they lent. At the moment , we knew we owed $1000 to finish the move. Already paid Proceed Smart $578. I inquired how far is our complete? $2900!!!! INSANE. That is even after my mom abandoned 3 dressers, sofa and recliner behind therefore the cost did not get jacked up much more. My reply? “You are out of your thoughts! Y’can all unload the vehicle and I will undergo a UHAUL.” They did not need to do this. I spoke him all of the way down to 1800 complete. They could accept $1100 off without any issues. I even spoke with”Britt” from Proceed Smart customer services. She acted just like there was nothing else she can do on it. Matters came 5/8/2020 from the daytime. After reading some other reviews, sounds such as Transfer Smart quotes many folks at 286cuft. In addition, the”Tariff Discount” amount on the quotation. Should they dismiss 61.88%, then that renders 38.12%. I had been advised, my quotation comprises 38.12percent of their truck. HAHA!!! There were approximately 5 homes on this truck. Safeguard Vanlines reported that the”Tariff” does not imply anything to them. Each one of these firms scam 1st period movers! They’re a fraud!

This is business is a large scammer. Stay away from these if you really care about your cash. They tell you a quotation and after they request greater and more. While I request refund they refused to answer my mails and calls. They have to get sued honestly as they’re exploiting individuals in the name of a business enterprise.

When I first filled out a form on line asking a quotation that they called me in minutes. While I’ve attempted to get them I get placed on hold then advised nobody can be obtained and also to leave a message never to receive a call backagain. First off I had given a two day window (Saturday or Sunday) on if they’d be present to pick up. I had been about 95% prepared to proceed by Friday and never having a telephone so assumed that meant they had been arriving Sunday. Saturday morning at 8 am I get a call saying they’d be there in 45 minutes. I told the driver that I was likely to receive a telephone 24 hours ahead of time and was not totally prepared. He said they’d help me complete, he whined. Then until he loaded one box that he began telling me that I had more things than was anticipated, I did not. The box quote was for 30 mild boxes, so I’d about 20 medium bags. They stated bags take up more room than boxes, so I inquired how since moderate is a vague expression and no particular measurements have been given. It stand to reason if the bags I purchased were tagged as moderate size then it needs to be medium sized. He did not need to hear logical thinking. Eventually get everything loaded and was told my items would arrive at Chicago between Tuesday and Friday. I suppose I should have asked for particular dates. They said I’d find a call 24 hours ahead of these coming. Today is Thursday and that I did not get a call, and so I called them, to my surprise that I was really able to talk to a person. The representative put me on hold to talk to dispatch. He explained it had been going on an afternoon being and if, could, maybe, might be here Saturday. Then said that the dates that I was given actually didn’t mean anything and that they have 7 days from pickup to really send. He did not say what happens when it moves passed that time period. Likely nothing besides you do not get your stuff. So complete this was a complete nightmare. This business is unprofessional. I would strongly recommend AGAINST together.
