I contracted Move Smart to transfer me in NY to FL only 3 days prior to moving day. As it was, I ended up needing to cancel the movement and they had been kind enough to repay the majority of my residue although the contract said otherwise… This ensemble is handled by a whole lot of gentlemen! A man names Jack kept me in the loop during the week rather than something was ruined. I had been terrified to Proceed with my spouse about or the simple fact I had not moved in more than 30 decades, but I would strongly suggest using Move Smart from the future to anyone trying to find an excellent business.

I hired Proceed Smart Relocation to put my move up from Oct. 2019 in NJ to FL. I needed to relocate to your work and was just given a three wk note from my company. There were several dishes which broke through the move and even though it had been my own fault (I did not package them with sufficient packaging material) they nevertheless offered to put up us with their promises department to pay the price of this harm. Overall it was a nice experience and that I had been 100% satisfied. I’ll certainly use this company again and recommend them to everybody I know who’s moving. Terrific JOB GUYS!!!

Pretty simple process, they asked me what furniture I had been carrying and they gave me the true cost together with my vehicle. My car has been picked up the afternoon before my move happened and they both arrived in Florida the day after I came. This firm was dreadful. Originally they looked amazing but after paying my deposit it was downhill from that point. The pickup was semi-organized but still not amazing. I waited 10 extra days on if they stated they’d deliver. They jumped to arrive at 8.30pm to unload the vehicle. 50 percent of the boxes have been damaged. They didn’t take good care of boxes with delicate stickers (that I added to each side of these boxes to make certain that it was apparent ). They stated they dropped the hardware into my mattress so left with no reassembling it as stated in the contract, leaving me to”figure it out”. These were the specific words of the shipping guys. The delivery guys do not care since they say it is not there problem it is on the organization. In addition they proceeded to charge me extra simply because they might, or so it felt like that. Do not even get me started on the client support. I left my own promises the day following delivery and I am still waiting to listen, shocker! If you have towards the conclusion of this critique please just take my word about this and then DO NOT USE MOVE SMART.

Peter and his staff worked closely but economically to move everything from my flat. Really effective and skilled employees. They have been really extremely fast. Inform us all of the costs upfront and gave a quote for complete time they’d require for the transfer. Nothing was broken or lost. No hidden charges.

I really don’t like leaving poor reviews but this firm made it obvious how they managed there error. I achieved supply them with several estimates from different businesses. When going day was here they whined. I had been billed $1,600 more then my quotation. The business said to me yes we know there was a problem we chased Mike the man who put up your shipment. We discovered he was messing using quotations to acquire business. But that is not my fault. Rather than taking possession they shipped me nasty messages stating I signed the contract that they screwed up. What he explained does not matter nor does that you said you know it occurred. They’re refusing to mend it and putting the price on me. I had to cover because the moving company would not finish loading the last of my things until I did. They hold you hostage and then screw you. Do not use this organization. I’m reporting them to the army and each other onscreen I could find. I’ve never in my entire life seen a company treat a client this way if they obviously understand they’re to blame. I’ve emails and documents revealing everything. Nevertheless I get we won’t do anything that it is my fault once they already admitted they are aware that it’s theirs.

I have never made a review for whatever so you know this should have been awful. I reserved my transfer 3 weeks beforehand. They said they’d phone me 5 times before to explore the logistics. I felt like this was cutting it too close, but they ensured me that was standard. 5 times before. . .no telephone. So I phoned them. Then they took my stock and explained the cost wouldn’t change. BUT they still had no idea once the movers were forthcoming. They said they’d allow me to understand the next day. NOPE.

They eventually called me the day before I had been to proceed and informed me they’d be there involving 9-1. The following day I was really worried, but patiently sat on my sofa until 1pm. No one arrived, no one predicted. Once I called many times, they stated that the motorist would phone me. He called to inform me that they had been two HOURS away, which makes them 3 hours late. I phoned MoveSmart in tears since I was likely to drive eight hours following the move and obviously I could not now. The customer support agent, Jessica, was so incredibly rude and stated because they were still coming, she could not provide me some type of help.

They ended up arriving at 6, so 5 hours late. Subsequently the movers advised me that they could not park out of my home although I was holding a distance daily and I’d be billed for extended haul. I’d also be billed for stairs since the limitation is 12 and that I had 14 (they comprised the steps in my front entrance ). And then they were going to need to charge a packaging fee since I had a purse of hangers. I’d called 2 days before be certain that was fine, was informed it had been fine. So today I am paying $500 greater than initially agreed upon. And I can not do anything about this since I must move daily. I am a teacher and that I was already paying an whole paycheck with this movement. Due to this I wasn’t able to even buy groceries once I eventually got to Austin.

I am quite disappointed with literally all concerning this movement. I now am seemingly awaiting 7-14 days for the furniture to arrive so I’m sleeping in an air mattress for the time being. I hired movers to have some strain from this transfer, however they made a lot more anxiety than I might ever have envisioned. Now I understand it might have been cheaper and less trying to market my things and purchase all new furniture. Really terrible encounter with dreadful customer support. The movers at least were fine while they had been price gouging me.

Absolutely don’t ever even consider using this organization. Ever. For anything. We reserved services to get a transfer two weeks beforehand. We paid our deposit together with guarantees to get a picky delivery and up date with same day services. They accumulated square footage to make sure we’d space onto a truck. Becoming stressed after reading poor reviews – we predicted at least twice times to affirm we had the suitable space reported. We never got a telephone”5 times ahead of the transfer” as promised. We predict that the day of the transfer and was told that they would not be there until the following day (they provide a 2 day time period on the contract). So we then waited for the following day, the movers arrived and told me that they had been a last minute booking (therefore this wasn’t scheduled as we had been lead to believe). The contracted movers afterward told me that they could not fit all of my things let alone my sectional – that we supported using MoveSmart at least 4 occasions before.

The contracted movers afterward told me that they would take our possessions to a different country where it stays for up to 21 times and THEN gets delivered. This was after several confirmations in the agent firm, MoveSmart, that we’d same day shipping. Next, following the builders refused service MoveSmart tried to install another shipping date. We needed to maintain our new city that weekend so there was not any stage – so today we had been outside the $599 deposit AND uhaul fees. Our multiple voicemails, texts, and mails to customer support were never replied – rescue 1 customer support rep Brandy.

They claimed we refused the transfer although we had recorded evidence of those contracted movers denying. We were not minding our deposit. This place is a complete scam. They don’t have any ethics and deplorable customer services. We’re skeptical of those negative reviews but those maintain weight. I am also convinced the favorable reviews are likely fake or produced by workers to counteract all of the negative reviews saying the specific same problem we’ve had.

Certainly the most dishonest, sliver tongued, vile men and women who I wouldn’t be shocked when they make their living from their”non refundable deposits” because they don’t inform you that the only way to cancel would be inside 72 hours of the first phone call of preparing a move.

In times like these it is critical to take care of your fellow individual with respect, decency, and moral behaviours; All of that Move Smart isn’t. Save your cash. Run as quickly as possible away from this provider. My 84 year-old Mother was advised her belonging could arrive two weeks later and now 7 days later we still don’t have anything. They farmed the movement into Imperial Movers. They never bothered telling my Mom that they were only brokers.

Dont attempt to call them they’re rude and you won’t ever reach your initial sales person.

I Establish a movement with Move Smart about a month Beforehand. They tell you you get a early booking discount that the sooner you put up. So I had been duped into believing everything was put and good to go. Three times ahead of the transfer the motorist phoned me and asked if he can pick up my stuff (long distance NH into PA) on Friday (initially scheduled for Sat/Sun). I said no issue better sooner than later. So I hurried to receive my things packed. Then on Thursday I receive a call in the driver telling me that he’ll be there later in the afternoon. Ok even sooner I can afford. I then get a very simple text using a contact number. In 10p Thursday night I am told that his truck is complete and I will not be able to get my own items transferred. So I call the number and it’s a dispatcher not correlated with movement smart that informs me proceed smart is only a broker. They tell anybody they could do the transfer and simply cross their fingers that a motorist is available to pick up your load. Hence that the dispatcher said I could not get picked up till Tuesday (no trucks in my area till afterward. So Monday night comes and I hear nothing telling me about pickup and preparing me for my own move. So I call the agent to need my money back and now no one wants to answer the telephone. Move clever never delivered and hasn’t refunded my money or replied my calls/emails. I counsel you DO NOT USE ONE OF THESE BROKERS, they simply need your deposit. Locate a local inspector just like that I ended up doing. It can cost you more but the support is well worth it. It has been a week and I still haven’t heard back or needed my money refunded.
