    Long-distance move from Arizona
    Cross country move

Do not be deceived by this corporation. They ask you the number of items which you have. They then sent out a person to recheck. After the truck came the men started loading they place your things on almost any way possible to acquire more weight. They advised me the following $8500. I advised them to purge my things which not exactly what I had been told in start. Told you’re billed by weight.Instead of carrying my things to Florida they delivered to Las Vegas. As soon as I called to learn where my things were at an storage from Vegas. I needed to own them redelivered into Florida if they had a motorist coming my way rather than where they were presumed to be right now. Another week with no anything. As it came in Florida following the times it had been guaranteed, it had been set in a different storage yet another 50 miles before I might find a U-Haul to separate it in their apparatus into my home. You picked it up in the home and can not send properly.

    Long-distance move from Arizona
    Late, Unprofessional, Mishandled Items

We utilized that moving company to move across the nation. We arranged to get the movers maintain our possessions for 6 months and after that deliever them once we got into the east. They did not show up the afternoon that the day of their scheduled pickup. They were assumed to arrive at the afternoon and about 4pm they phoned and stated their truck had been broken up and they woud TRY to receive there the next day in the afternoon.  We needed to remain in a resort that night b/c we were all packed and we’d rented our furniture that was picked up today. They came the subsequent DAY at 6pm a whole 30 hours AFTER the scheduled time.  They had been completely unapologetic and proceeded so far as to inform me it should have been fine for me to really have an excess day to package! They then had the audacity to inform us they’ve an HOURLY WAITING commission when we aren’t there in the scheduled period of delievery. Fast forward 6 months, and now we arrive in our new complicated simply to have a call in the movers which they will charge us an extra $450 bucks because the truck that they brought did not match through the gate of this complex. As I said, we’d let our furniture, therefore all that we transferred were boxes… to get a 2 bedroom flat. CLEARLY it is not our fault that they drove a 18 wheeler. The people were so rude and unprofessional and basically held our things hostage before we agreed to cover. The boxes were a wreck. Those marked delicate, very brittle, were dented, upside down, and also together with pockets.  A couple of things were busted, boxes were chewed through… a few were even missing the very best! Huge chunks of this box proved simply lost!   I’ve personally moved 4 times in the past 4 years now — I understand how to package , I use bubble wrap liberally and utilize decent quality boxes. The harm to these boxes was obviously the consequence of mishandling. Becareful with this business.

    The WORST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The WORST!! They picked up in California more than 1 month and one week past. Charlie promised delivery into New Jersey within 5-6 times – and still the truck gets NOT LEFT Las Vegas!!

They never return telephone calls – when eventually attained, they state it’s heading out to”the weekend”. This was 4, heading about 5 evenings ago! AND STILL NO Shipping! ONLY SILENCE!! Are they valid?  I really don’t think so!!!  Are my possessions? My opinions? My valuables? Are there any recourse for Hungry FRAUD?

    Move it Forward

We hired Proceed it Forward due to the verbal promises they made us on expert packaging, special measurement capabilities, stock list and box tagging. We filed a deposit of 870$ predicated on 750 cubic foot quote, the residual 2900$ to be paid upon delivery and collection. When moving day came a secondary”business” (some man with a U Haul) came and eyeballed the contents of the residence. He explained there was at least 2600 cubic feet and attempted to charge us extra for the four stairs to our porch and 25$/box for packaging our items. We shipped him away and place in an alarmed telephone to Transfer it Forward.     This day they delivered another man with a truck out of yet another”firm” who had been marginally more specialist and’d indicating to delineate cubic feet. His helper told me that every indicate represented 100 cubic feet. Afterwards the motorist corrected him and said every one represented 150cf. There was not sufficient person-power to get the move completed as promised, so that my husband had to work the full day.  After the truck was loaded, it had been stuffed into the 7th mark. The driver claimed that a completely illogical  2600cf as our complete and demanded that we owed 2900$ currently and 2550$ upon delivery. We were tired and looking at all of our things as held hostage by those men who may ruin it. Feeling awry, we signed up a contract and paid the cash.     When the products were delivered, a THIRD”firm” showed up in California. Since we’d clarified that we needed a swimmer to place things in the top level of a storage container, the driver decided to not employ anybody to help unload the truck and my husband was once again required to perform extensive moving and lifting. Additionally, we had been required to cover ahead of this unload. However, If the 100cf container was filled 3/4 of how complete the driver made no apologies for its over payment and drove off.     Fundamentally, Move it Forward took our residue and brokered our transfer to the lowest common denominator(s). We had been bullied or bamboozled every step along the way. A bedside locker, bike and tv have been”missing” from the transfer (and who knows what else since our stuff remains in storage). Furthermore, a number of things were broken at the transfer. We contacted Move it Forward about every one of these things and NEVER receive a return telephone number. The company that initially packed up us (Transferring Express & Storage Inc) possess an bogus contact number in their contract so that we don’t have any consequences. In general, this is a living nightmare. Buyer be ware of the provider.

    Move It Forward

They predicted 1 day prior to the transfer into reschedule – if we stated we couldn’t they shipped the truck 11 hours later than that which we scheculed it to get. They arrived so late (8:15PM) that they couldn’t complete and had to return the following moment. They have yet another business (Transferring Express) to come back in and they attempted to bill me for packaging when I had a contract using Transfer it Forward to package at no cost. Then they delivered a few days late and I am missing over 20 percent of the boxes (43 boxes overlooking ). Our mattress’ weren’t insured and are filthy from transport. Many damaged items because of bad packaging. In case you have some alternative – DONT GO WITH EITHER OF THESE COMPAINES!

    Long-distance move from New Jersey
    HORRIBLE company, SCAMMERS.

I don’t write these terrible reviews, but I’d honestly never want anyone to use this provider ever. Please take my word, I tried moving round the nation on a budget, and thought”Hey its not only my very own POD, so long as it gets there, I do not care whether it is on a major semi truck along with different peoples possessions, at least I am saving $1000″.My first bad movement – the Web on my palms and I did not read testimonials first. I reserved my transfer, the salesperson was really agreeable and kind.   I had been quoted 1900 pounds = $1030 and anything over could be .60lb.   He instructed me it’d require roughly a week to reach my new residence in TX out of NJ. I paid that the 30% deposit. I predicted a couple of days ahead to confirm & everything sounded fine. I had been known as 24 hours beforehand in the foreman to affirm, and had been asked if I wished to be in the truck weighing location (40 minutes away), the evening before my transfer. (Bad move, I said no)Transferring day: Foreman comes in, Benny, walks throughout my flat without picking up anything and tells me it is likely to be an additional $1000 since”he could only tell by taking a look at what”. He informs me my choices: Either pay a up front binding price, after transferring everything without needing the truck back into the weigh station, or visit the weigh station and receive what weighed and pay the cost for anything it might way. [Notice: truck was seen at 8:20AM, I lived 40 minutes in the weigh station, truck came around 10AM. .why an excess gap????] . I told him I would pay by check, he told me when I did this I Would Need to wait an Additional 7-10 business days BEFORE my dispatch has been sent to the check to clear.   Nowhere in the contract did it say this. I had been telling him this and all he said was there is nothing I could do about it, that is the coverage, either that or pay money.   My mom was there and did not know why his firm would do so , he proceeded to phone her impolite, tell her she Wasn’t listening to him, and told me that he’d just leave it that is exactly what we wanted.   I clearly already paid a deposit so I was stuck.   They packed the truck, and informed me that I could either pay them $2000 or go make it weighed that would be even more then that.   I was so mad, livid and prepared to punch this guy from the face which I went into the weigh station since I understood that he had been off me. He was undoubtedly the MOST dumb and unprofessional person I’ve ever encountered in my entire life. Nonetheless, driving into the weigh station, the truck weighed within my dispatch an additional 50 pounds I was quoted (1950lbs). Oh and one more thing, I’d pictureframes, wrapped in a blanket, taped up and has been advised it can break but Benny provided to set it into a box for me. I consented, and then afterwards when posed with the invoice, there was an additional $71 fee for”packaging supplies”. As soon as I argued I was not paying it, I had been told”I told you you needed to pay extra for packaging supplies”. I advised him to take it back then and I would pack it myself. He explained it had been too late. He never told me how far it is to package THREE boxes. The cost included costs of these boxes ($10-15 per piece), and then labour costs for packaging it that took all of about 5 minutes. ($12-17 a bit ). It costed more to package it afterward for the box. Please be aware: whenever you’ve got a reliable moving company, they insist on money, plus they DON’T appear at a rented moving truck in the regional Avis truck rental location. Oh, and they do not shout at you.  Fourteen days after pickup of things, I called the office and talked to”Rachel at Accounting” and the following day she informed me it does not take that long to get a check to clear, possibly 3-5 days. So that the 3rd day following my pickup, I phoned and she explained that the check cleared, and my dispatch would ship out the next day or the day following (Day 5 or 4 ). Day 5 comes about and that I call to be certain that the truck left, and talked to somebody else that said the check had not cleared yet (as soon as the bank confirmed it had been cashed on Day two following the pickup).  My things were”assume” to arrive at the next week, 7 days after pickup.   I actually got the truck drivers amount that was transferring down my items and phoned him on Day 8, and once I said Move it Forward moving firm he seemed puzzled. I guess he finally realized what I had been talking about and said he had not even left NJ however and could leave the Following Day.   Lets just say I phoned him a couple of times afterwards, and also the firm about 15 times in the time that they picked up my things until they delivered, and possibly got through 2-3 days with no messages returned.  So when did my shipment arrive? Two weeks afterwards. A WEEK after it was supposed to. So the truck driver, Alex arrives and measures just how much he would need to bring my things and tried charging me an extra $550. I tried getting him to maneuver his truck nearer to my own building, but he”stated” the truck would not fit. Then he told me that I made a balance of $525 until They’d take anything off the truck, in money.   I just owed $500. On the contract, each of the costs were inserted up, minus the deposit and sum paid in pickup= $500. They really wrote OVER that the 500 and composed 525. You can definitely see it. When I informed”Alex” that I was not paying it, I had been told it was likely for packaging supplies. I told him if you add up the amounts, the equilibrium equals $500. Then he said”Oh its just $25″. I refused to cover it. Then a bit later he tried charging me an extra $75 stating the firm told him to bill me that for the waiting period because we had been looking for a nearer location for your truck to park so that I would not need to pay the extra $550. I refused and explained nowhere in the contract said that. He said it is not about”which” contract (the one I had) but at another one, and also the firm office was closed so that I could not call. I denied, my bf stepped in & began arguing with him and then Alex said that he was planning to only leave (together with my things STILL about the vehicle ). I told him I would call the cops and walked off. I did, however, then my bf said it had been fine so I wrapped up.  So in the long run, I refused to pay an additional $550 for them to deliver my things upstairs so that they unloaded on the sidewalk, along with my boyfriend and buddy lugged everything upstairs.  They ended up dividing up the legs off my TV rack, scraped up my sofa, coffee table, television stand and my box springs were filthy from the transfer. I did not feel like filling a claim as it would require a long time to even get through to the office and that I know I would never get any money from them for damaging my items. If you took the time to see this, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, find a Trusted company to transfer your things, do your research about the business ahead, and cover the Excess cash for a Respectable business.   I would never want this anxiety and frustration upon anyone.   Please spread the word to everyone you know to NEVER use Proceed it Forward as every individual scams youpersonally, and attempts to overcharge you personally in any manner they could.

    Long-distance move from Nevada
    Best Moving Service

I talked with Jessica who had been useful and knowledageble. She also quoted me a binding cost of $6999.00 to get the entire service proceed with packaging from NV to FL. She explained that this was the last cost and provided that everything went onto one truck it wouldn’t cost more. The men came first in the afternoon and began packing up everything. They did an fantastic job with all the packaging and was able to put everything on the truck in 1 day. By 6 pm that the men left. The cost didn’t change and that I wasn’t charged a cent extra. 8 days after my possessions arrived. They steered the truck to every room. Everything seemed in precisely the exact same state as they were until they left. I had a couple slight scratches on a desk but nothing worth worrying about. I’ve not ever had such an effortless movement. I had been given precisely what I had been told. The cost was exactly the exact same and I’d definately recommend this corporation. My sister would be using them next month.
