Moovers, Inc

This review is in relation to Moovers Inc that we used to transfer our home contents out of San Francisco to Seattle in June. To be upfront, the real movers on the day of pickup and the delivery (through National Van Lines) was just nice. We paid a great deal of cash for’packaging services’ to be contained as part of the movement. On the afternoon of packaging (June 16th) the team showed up – appeared like 3 fine enough men – we even bought them dinner and gave a fantastic hint. But much to our massive disappointment when our things showed up in Seattle: – We discovered that my wedding ring(!) Was stolen from a downstairs bath along with a different bottle of perfume. We all know this because all of my other perfume bottles showed up along with my ring was constantly in precisely the exact same location. I had been so occupied in days leading up to the movement that I forgot to pack it myself away. – Many of the electronic equipment were packaged with no protective wrap (newspaper or bubble wrap) – my printer has been crushed and stereo receiver has been busted. Obviously the stolen things has generated enormous upset for us – you hope that a’insured and licensed’ business like Moovers Inc would utilize dependable and reliable packing crews which are being allowed into your house.  Its equal to daylight robbery. Unfortunatley Moovers Inc were neither understanding or useful on the stolen things – since I did not meet All the following criteria:
>Able to demonstrate things were tendered for dispatch — that is normally done using the stock or in this instance ought to have been recorded on a high value inventory form
>Able to establish that we neglected to deliver the things — that is normally performed at check off with things mentioned as lost, or cartons that appear to have been tampered with  
> Must be a determinable value — that you’ve put but There Isn’t Any support of the numbers claimed
I was never informed about a’high value inventory type’, did not have any receipts or checklist to get my wedding ring purchased 10 decades back. To make it worse that the Revenue man (Charles) never returned my calls – everybody is friendly until they get their attention and then nobody cares.

The movement has been overpriced. There’s absolutely no communication. The supervisor, a guy, cried at me when I asked him that the estimated arrival in their LATE shipment. They broke my furniture ( see below). They stated 2 weeks maximum and I am going on 3 months now, still awaiting my possessions. They’re unpleasant and rude. I wouldn’t recommend these guys to anybody.

Keith Dolphin and Anthony Campbell have poor communication skills, They even had poor communication among one another. Keith believed I was moving to storage device and Anthony knew that I was moving to a device. The website never upgraded the forms to state I wasn’t going to Brooklyn, but instead Manhattan.

On arrival, the group who picked up my furniture, Joh Harris, broke my West Elm desk valued at $300 since he refused to split the desk down rather wrap it in shrink wrapping only for it to pop off. I still bought these men Subway lunch and leaned $20 each (3 movers) since I know they’re movers and likely don’t make much. I had been generous beyond belief.

They looked annoyed when I called to ask about MY possessions I was paying them to proceed. Nobody is on precisely the exact same page. The salesman, Anthony, along with his supervisor, Keith, completely didn’t possess some of my logistics directly.

The truck’broke down’. Nobody called me and advised me! I phoned them to find it out. They had no idea once the part could be accessible or if it would get to the truck. Keith Dolphin was yelling at me when he should’ve been salvaging what was left of any hope I had in his or her company. I needed to get lawyers involved in this fiasco.

Don’t use this business, should you really care about the possessions that you just paid your hard earned cash for, or believe you ought to be treated as a human being!

My initial move several Years Back from NY to CA went away without a hitch.   They showed up and got the work completed and sent everything on time and in adequate condition in the opposite end (1 loaf bankrupt, but that is not exactly the oddest thing).

My next go out of CA to MD was dreadful.   The pickup was punctually however, they threatened to charge me $400 additional to package my TV That Was clearly recorded in their quotation.   In the Long Run, they packaged the TV and required it.   And then. . .silence.   I have never got a call Concerning the delivery period.   The afternoon before everything came, the driver eventually called me.   I needed to have somebody available to Choose the delivery and has been threatened with extra fees if I could not take the shipping on that date.  

I was able to persuade someone to take the transport.   They showed up and maintained They had to deliver another truck since they could not bring their send truck down our back driveway.   They charged an extra fee at the stage to send the products into the Home.   They snapped a wardrobe (split in half from top to bottom) across the way.  

It is too bad since I thought that I discovered a great moving company.   I recommended them to friends who have been going also.   It appears like I am still searching for you.

On the other hand, Moovers was OK. They showed up on time and so were largely careful with what they managed. As soon as they left with our boxes — we had been going very small furniture — they clearly were careless. They completely ignored anything marked”delicate” and have to have tossed and thrown the boxes because many came crushed and you was torn available. They broke just one particular thing but we are convinced that it was just one since we used additional padding on everything.

Additionally, among the things they worry is that you will have the contact number of the motorist. However when we predicted the motorist following 15 days to discover whether he had some notion of when he’d arrive we got his voicemail and did NOT receive a response out of him before we phoned the office every day after to whine.

They had been the most expensive quote that we obtained and we aren’t convinced that they had been worth the excess cost. Mostly we had been disappointed with them since they came so highly suggested.

I just completed my transfer using Moovers, Inc on 11/6/09. This is an wonderful firm. I got soooo several quotations before I decided on a plumber. Most had small exemptions like an additional $75 for each 75 ft, $75 for each 6 staircase, etc.. I understood with the majority of these firms they’d discover a way to tack on extra fees by the time that my stuff had been delivered. I also had been confused about the entire cubic foot thing, which really leaves you in their mercy. My mover/driver was Michael. He had been great about calling me beforehand to allow me to know if he’d arrive, and that I was always able to reach him both before and during my movement. He was a fantastic man, who I could inform really cared for MY stuff. Moovers Inc gave me a binding quote according to 5000lbs, which comprised EVERYTHING. Nothing additional to shrinkwrap, or take stairs, etc.. I orginally estimated I’d have 30 boxes. I was incorrect. I probably ended up getting much more like 40 to 50. Michael thought I would go within my weight quote, which had me worried I’d wind up owing over the opposite end of my movement. Imagine my shock when he phoned me and said I’d go over my burden by like 300 pounds, but it wouldn’t cost me additional!!! I paid that the binding quote cost. You do not place a lot up front as with other businesses, only $250 to hold your place to reserve your transfer. The remainder you pay at delivery. I shall recommend this company to anyone and everyone I know that’s shifting, and that I will most likely use them again for any future movements. Ensure that you ask for Michael. He’s fantastic!

We had an superb experience with Moovers Inc, who helped us go from California to New York. Mike Wunder did the quote for all of us at a highly efficient and professional way — he arrived at our flat and instantly supplied us with the quote in writing. The packers/movers/helpers at California, Micha Arnon, Tyler Henriques, along with Donnie Young, along with the motorist and movers in New York, Mike, Carlos, and Edwin, were professional, efficient, and friendly. We’ll proceed together again later on if we will need to, and highly recommend them.

Mover who came was fair, quick, personable, answered each of my queries.

The quotation they supplied me was that the amount I paid in the conclusion.

Excellent driving together with the massive truck.

THey known as 24 hours ahead of time then came just when they said they’d for pickup.

They allow me to know when they’d shed my possessions about 3 times beforehadn and again arrived when proposed.

Nothing broken.

My car was sent on the truck too – no harm, so sleek and effortless.

We needed to go and since we’re getting to an era that we are not able to do it ourselves, we all looked for various movers.  Moovers, Inc. has been an fantastic option for us.  The customer support on the phone was quite professional, the motorist and Agency were super amazing.  They came a little sooner than anticipated (that was fantastic ) and they had a very professional attitude. They got the work finished in 3 hours and now that which was place where we needed it.  Can most definetly touch and rely on them again if we will need to move.  Thanks for the Terrific service.

I cannot say enough great things about our expertise using Moovers Inc. from our estimator, into our own clients, Chris, into our own driver, Art, and our packaging and Loading teams in CA and MD, matters couldn’t have gone much better.
I was particularly impressed with the professionalism of their crews and driver. They’re polite, effective, and hard working. They listened to all of my worries, followed my directions regarding delicate & delicate things, and so were fair & reassuring each step along the way. Everything arrived safely, with zero harm.
A transfer of this size is stressful enough. I am quite grateful that I never once had to be worried about the protection of my possessions and also the honesty of those crews.
