We hired Molloy movers to transfer us in our house in Staten Island, NY into our new house, roughly 10 minutes off.
I am not going to lie. We’ve Got a Whole Lot of stuff. We were not entirely packaged. That is not their fault, its our own.
Gavin arrived to present our quote and he came back with an adequate price, roughly $2,200. He explained 1 bath, 4 men and we’ll be ready to go.
Yeah, okay. Moving day arrived. They filled the truck and brought into our new house. The men were fantastic. Really friendly and cautious with all our possessions. I steered every employee $25 and purchased everybody chinese food for dinner. They got it.
We had been advised that they would put padding back on our recently finished hardwood flooring. They didn’t.
The day following our movement, we leased a 10 feet uhaul truck and hired two mexicans. We left 3 MORE TRIPS to attract all of the stuff which didn’t match on the truck that was moving. This cost me $500 more than what Molloy billed me.
My job went to overtime. Now I received an email from bookkeeping requesting to bill my card. I don’t have any issue paying, they functioned it and earned it. But once I voiced my concerns and advised her specifics about why I’m not happy, she said she’d talk to her boss. The manager mentioned charge her anyhow. And basically did not care for our not being joyful. Twist them.
I would like to compliment Molloy Bros./Mayflower and 2 people specifically: Wesley the motorist and Hope Kroez the workplace go-to individual. My 3,000-mile move from NY to California went flawlessly. The packaging, the transport, the contact during the procedure, that the timeliness of delivery, along with the unpacking and putting up in my new house, all went unbelievably well. Both Wesley and Hope are versions of professionalism that is friendly, a mix as uncommon as it’s superb.

Don’t Use MOLLOY BROS MOVING.We moved a few weeks back to Florida out of NJ. Overall, everything went well, however, the firm lost a single box. The only box packaged with anything of any worth. This 1 box has been missing and Molloy Bros has neglected to do anything about it. We compensated for insurance and they have denied the promise. They don’t have any interest in standing up for their support and that I would advise with any other moving service. They’ve given us nothing but trouble trying to fix this matter and have compelled us to consider different alternatives. I don’t have any true interest in legal activity, but their mindset and abject refusal to take responsibility for the loss of the house is forcing me to think about it.
