Mills Van Lines

On July 22nd Mills Van traces moved my neighbor in their home, sadly while placing his truck they jumped the curb in front of my home and also did damage to my yard and drive. As soon as I contacted Robert Mills he handed me off to some Kelly Mills who advised me that they were not responsible as they were controlled by the US DOT. As soon as I informed her that the US DOT does not have any jurisdiction over my personal land and they (Mills) they’d no right to be in my house she had no answer. As soon as I asked to receive her insurance policy information to submit a claim she denied (is not this illegal?) . While eventually a few months after Rober Mills contacted me (just after I registered complaints with the GA & OH Attorney General’s Office, the BBB along with the US DOT) to state he had 5 business days to investigate and could contact me – guess what, the day that he promised he would contact me personally has gone and come dispite my continued efforts to call him. I filed a claim with my homeowners insurance – I can only presume that the 470 Liberty Mutual quotes it will cost to fix the harm is necessary much more by Mills Van Lines when it’s I. . .it’s a pity a nationwide inspector (plus a professional of a very well respected moving line-Allied) can be at such a Challenging situation and they want to keep concealing from me instead of talking the issue in an honorable manner (especially given that the Tiny amounts we are referring to ) Not sure I would trust them with my family products – I have been transferred 5 times professionally without having had a problem using a damage claim nonetheless I am not sure I would expect the Exact Same to occur with Mills Because of my experience together

The packers appeared just like day laborers. No uniform or logo on them. Many things were packaged badly and haphazardly with minimal if any wrap. Many things not wrapped but pitched from the truck

Shipping was overdue and a single cage was left behind.

Shipping was eventually discovered and then sent 5 times late. I needed to deliver my own things into my property. Delivery guy was lonely, a violaton of all OSHA laws and rules. Delivery guy broke a huge branch from this tree in the lawn along with his truck.

Don’t use this firm. They can’t even agree among themselves in what their principles are for pickup and delivery.

Here I’m moving again and I’ll NOT BE USING MILLS VAN LINES!!! It had been such a dreadful encounter in 2011 and it all came rushing back in when I fulfilled with my Allied Vans rep now. UNLIKE MILLS – she had been quite honest and examined the insurance in addition to tariff legislation! They’ll blanket wrap or shrink wrap EVERY bit of furniture I have. They’ll blanket wrapping my granite table tops and glass table tops and set them IN MY CAR AT NO EXTRA CHARGE!!!!
