First I will begin with the movers themselves. They had been the positive. They did a fantastic job. The drawback was that the ceremony from the workplace and the proprietor himself. We were going out of a rental 3 bedroom townhome from Ankeny into some brand new hone we bought in Johnston. In addition, we have a storage device in Monroe that had to be transferred to the new house too. My wife filled out all of the information online for what we’d. We do have a fantastic number of things for a three bedroom place. We moved to Iowa two years back with a packed full 26 ft truck. I believed there was a fantastic possibility that two heaps would be required. But that was not requested to us. The men got there on time and moved through the stock of everything. Additionally went through what they had recorded which was at our storage. No difficulties. They got everything packed and it was obvious that with how it was packaged, the truck could had to be unloaded in the new home and then to the storage to load this. Extra cash from our pocket but we had to get all of it.

On the way into the new residence, my spouse receives an email which the team was reserved in the day and that the storage would need to be performed at the time. I called the office to inquire about this since this was absurd to me. No sorry was stated. She just kept telling me about how it had been my spouse’s fault and that she did not record things correctly. “On our listing, it must have easily fit on the vehicle .” HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We transferred all of our items across state on a 26′ truck so I know that it fits. The the owner called me and it was exactly the exact same thing. Just kept blaming my spouse. The crew moved on the stock and the. The listing for the storage that was correct. But somehow it had been my wife’s fault. And no pitiful. They could not even receive the storage for a couple of days later. No thank you!!

Not providing another dime for this organization and I recommend you to not as well if you don’t need extremely bad service from the proprietor himself!!!

Never use this company for your long distance move. They’re quite shady. I believed it’d be a fantastic company as they’re based from my home city, Des Moines, IA. I had been planning a move to Montgomery, Alabama and they supplied me with a fair quote. I opted to use them because they were not local. The moment I agreed to this quotation, nothing went as stated. The movement cost me twice as much and it had been a very stressful movement. I might never get in touch with anyone in the company to get my questions answered. The so-called regional amounts went to either the revenue division or a person on the east shore. So far as the real move it turned out to be a entire nightmare. I had not been given the chance to assess anything since they were constantly in a rush and would not let me. For the shipping I had been told it’d be an extra $250.00 to move my possessions from the truck into our storage device since it had been over 75 feet. No real moving company will bill you for that. Until I paid it he refused to carry my possessions off his truck. Fortunately I had individuals who had been looking out for me and that I ended up not needing to cover this. But just to make clear that the inspector simply put my belongings on the sidewalk. Again, I worry no valid mover is going to do this! I wound up hiring to neighborhood guys to move my possessions to my storage device (for a good deal less)! This is a really untrustworthy business and they know that they have you over a barrel the moment your possessions are in their truck!

The quotation process was straightforward and effortless. We had been advised that the quote was binding. We had been advised it’d be a two day procedure with packaging on the 1st loading and day on the 2nd. Our moving planner was quite receptive to calls and texts in this time period.
The week of proceeding (Feb 2018) the truck has been postponed by a day. They showed up the next afternoon with 3 guys to fully package and load our 2000sq feet home. When half of this truck had been loaded we had been advised that there could be additional fees because we needed more cubic feet than had been quoted. They threatened to leave outside our possessions if we did not pay. A number of attempts were made to predict the business with no response. We also tried to text and call our moving planner with no reaction.
As the guys moved our furniture that they put holes in our drywall and ripped cut off walls. This harm had to be repaired by us before final after that week.
They didn’t bring enough packaging supplies and utilized several of our private blankets and cushions to guard our items.
They remained in the house loading and packaging until the truck was complete (approximately 2am).
They left a couple of things behind and we had been made to rent a uhaul daily before closing on our house to transport the rest of our possessions.
Multiple telephone calls and emails following packaging and hauling went unanswered. I did finally get Caroline from client support to telephone me and she said she’d look to it and get this solved. I’ve heard nothing because from client assistance, despite several calls and mails.
Last week (aug 2018) we obtained a bill for storage of our things saying that when we dont cover they can’t continue to put away our possessions. I have repeatedly tried to contact customer support via telephone and email with no answer.
I wouldn’t use this provider again. Moving is stressful enough without the additional hassle they’ve caused.

I hired Mighty Movers from February 2018 to move my possessions from Minnesota to South Carolina. Josh lent me 2777 at a binding contract. I paid my 979 deposit since he ensured me a 4 day shipping. I’ve call recording on my telephone and can establish this. When the movers came on April 22, 2018, they loaded and required $4007 or else they’d unload the vehicle. They also added false fees for mattress covers which I’d supplied,I have picture evidence. Picture boxes which were never utilized, and $250 for bulky things never spoke at booking. One if the drivers said that he hated this task, but since he was a felon nobody else would employ him. 19 days after my load came, not the four times as promised, and 8 boxes along with a huge bin was stolen from my own load. It was demonstrated by authorities and insurance company evaluation. My leather couch was badly damaged beyond repair, my floor lamp was smashed, and their were two bikes in my load which didn’t belong to me personally. Additionally, I discovered my vacuum cleaner missing and begged the driver to take a second look on the vehicle. He discovered my vacuum cleaner blended in with a different individual’s load.i have since attempted calling the owner, Kyle, the rep Josh along with the customer support representative Caroline 92 times. Nobody answers my calls or texts. I’ve filed a claim and still no response from anybody at Mighty Movrrs from Des Moines, Iowa.
