I got this moving business through Moving APT,  I had numerous Issues with this moving business.   When I could, I’d give this business negative five stars.  1) The initial quote was 2230, but they included Lots of hidden fees like storage price if they picked up my stuffs.   It ended up that I Must cover $4066.   They could charge more  two ) These men left a Complete elevator load of my own stuffs behind.   I needed to call them to return to pick up the things the Following Day.   3) Transferring APT told me that I could cover 1/3 of this price at the time of purchase, 1/3 at pickup, and 1/3 at fall off.   I compensated 1/3 upfront, but the motorist Simon insisted that I needed to pay off the Entire thing at pickup time.   His motive was that so as to send my stuffs in 8 days, they needed to collect All of the money first.   But it ended up that I did not receive my stuffs for 20 days.   More about that later. 4) They disassemble All my racks, shelves and Several other items to conserve space.   According to the contract, They’d reassemble everything at drop off.   They never did this.   I needed to invest two or more times to reassemble everything. 5) Their business model would be to pool several the products of numerous celebrations and put them on a single large truck.   So, rather than sending my stuffs whenever possible, the products were sitting at a storage in Chicago for 15 days. 6) They had been so greedy and packaged as many parties as possible in 1 truck, it ended up that the truck was obese.   They had been stopped in the middle of the manner and not Permitted to Proceed.   They needed to place all of the stuffs into storage and hired a different moving company to take a number of their load.   They do not have a Fantastic system to monitor and different products of different parties either.   This moving forth and back has generated me losing over $1000 of things.   A Few of the things Aren’t replaceable.   This business model is a entire collapse. 7) When I call them to inform them about my missing things, either they do not answer the telephone, or simply give me empty guarantee. However they always made me feel like I was being held hostage with zero recourse.   They all needed to say was”Sorry, which assurance should not have been created, how about we dip several hundred dollars off your invoice”. I was told that the truck left that afternoon, and they’d have the driver call me soon to provide me an ETA. He never called, so I called again the following moment. This time I had been given the motorist’s telephone number and that I needed to phone him. I clarified that either my husband or I needed to make arrangements with our job so that I needed to know when to anticipate him. He advised me to anticipate him on Friday, the 7th, however, he’d call me on Thursday. He did not call all day, so I phoned him again Thursday evening. He said we’d be at my house on Friday, and could phone me when he had been on his way. I waited the whole afternoon, and took a day away in my new occupation to wait around for him. I’d two boxes clearly marked”Fragile” since my dishes had been in there. 1 box was even a plain white box with”Fragile” written around it. Those two boxes were the only ones in the group that came smashed! Fortunately, me bubble wrap each and every thing in these boxes paid off since nothing has been broken. Avoid this business!

This needs to be the worst moving business on the side of paradise! I believed after the horrible experience I had when those disgusting people picked-up my furniture in Illinois that it couldn’t get any worse, just how wrong was I! I almost compelled him to say decent morning. It was  obvious he wasn’t in the mood to get the job done. He had been incredibly rude in their own conversation.Twice I needed to request someone from management within their Neighborhood workplace be contacted and even than he talked to them just as impolite.   As it became time for my merchandise to be sent to California (now is the day that they promise to send them) I had been given a drivers title to get hold of. I contacted the motorist inform him that I was and told him that I had been requested by his office to phone him to find a more realistic time concerning if my furniture could be sent to california. This man promptly asked for my speech in which the furniture was likely to be sent for which I supplied. He than told me to continue. If he returned to the phone he said, Oh, I will need to bill you an extra $750.00 due to legislation enforcement his 18 semi tractor isn’t permitted to park in residential areas, so he would need to move my merchandise to a smaller truck compared to send them into the assigned place. Obviously I told him that he was mad. Further if your 18 wheeler Isn’t let to park in residential areas than the reason was my merchandise put on a single as it was apparent I had been re locating into a residential area.   Instead of preceeded to state he could make a deal with me personally. I smelled the scam arriving. I preceeded to tell him I am not seeking to create any kinds of deals with him because the deal was already made when I signed the first contract. Obviously the next morning that I contacted the local visitors divison and they verified that it is not illegal for a 18 wheeler semi-trailer to park inorder to load or un laden products in a residential neighbbor hood. I sent a text message into the motorist saying the same. He later contacted me to say he is going to be late delivering my merchandise rather than the orig 11:00am -4:00pm window period frame he gave it turned out 11:am to 7pm.  Hours later it shifted again to 8pm. I’m still waiting.  Never once did the motorist apologize about some of this. It was like he knew he was lying but wanted to see if I’d fall to it. Again, I called the office asking that the supposingly head man Dan Nay telephone me but as of 5:17pm pacific no reply in Dan.  Theres really more to the story but  I am getting sick just thinking about this dreadful nightmare, so Im finishing my critique. I will get in touch with the BBB too.

My experience with Mid Moving & Storage began out amazing.   I talked with Leah Z. who assisted me along with my quotation and the best way to put the deposit down.   It was all down hill from there.   I sent in a $200 check payment on top of my deposit and I inquired consistently (several e-mails and phone calls) on why it Wasn’t credited to my account and they stated that cargo needed it.   I left my move from Chicago to New Orleans to get a new project and my business had been willing to pay the rest of my movement so as to have a smooth transition.   Mid-Moving wouldn’t create a government W-9 tax kind Required for my business to submit the payment.   They Wouldn’t even create a statement.   When phoning or emailing about the Circumstance, I had been left without a reply.   Two days prior to my move, I needed to change my stock since I included somethings but subtracted any additional items.   I was specifically told that when I alter my stock before the transfer then I would not be billed.   Jolene delivered me an email saying my account had been locked but to not worry that They’d make the adjustment on the afternoon of the transfer.   Subsequently the day of my movement came.   The nightmare only got worse.   They utilized TEN rolls of tape at $4 per roll.   On what?   Well, I discovered when when things arrived and that I could hardly open anything.   The movers Wouldn’t accept my stock change and insisted on charging me to the new Products.   My binding quotation (as it states in my quotation ) was about $1600.   They billed $200ish on provides and then around $300ish for the extra items.   My BINDING quotation was then around $2200.   The movers afterward insisted that I set 70 percent Back on my first total rather than my new equilibrium following the payment and deposit I made.   I did not believe that was correct.   I gave them a test, moved to New Orleans after which put a halt on the test.   As it was payment associated, I got a call almost instantly from the dispatch manager.   Not only was he insulting to my intellect but he insisted that I email him a test and he Wouldn’t fix any of those ridiculous charges Which Were attached to my own move.   I left the whole payment only so that I made sure I Received my possessions and nothing occurred to them.   Sixteen days after I received my things.   My bed frame was broken, and a rubbermaid bin was totally bashed up, and boxes beat up.   Fortunately, no glass was broken and apart from my bed frame, everything will endure.   The movers at NOLA were fine and effective however that didn’t make up for the rest of my experience.   The Business lacks in communication, professionalism and ethics.   I would never ever use them again for my future moves nor will I recommend them to anybody I know.

I received a binding quotation from Mid-Moving to transfer my household products from Illinois to Georgia around 5-4-2013. After the movers came in a 26 foot van, which by their very own quote of cubic feet I’d be moving was not large enough, they immediately told me without looking at my home I had underestimated the cubic foot of their transfer and they billed me $2250.00 more. As soon as I told them that the 26 ft. van was too little, they called shipment and advised me shipment told them to dislodge all within my home and make it match. They came at 9:30AM and in the 10:00PM needed to go buy a second truck.  When they arrived in my home in Georgia, you will find 40 boxes overlooking which were clearly recorded on my bill of lading. Most of all that they dared to make it match in the 26 foot van wasn’t reassembled.  I’m missing many precious things along with the owner of the firm won’t work with me personally.  I have filed claims with the BBB, the Interstate Commerce Commission (who currently has this business to get a watch list for these kinds of complaints), and also the Office of the Attorney General at Illinois.  They’ve referred me into the State’s Attorney’s office to file criminal charges against the owner, and that I plan to perform fast because of its 40 stolen boxes of my home products.
