I had been also uninformed like lots of the reviewers had been that this movement could be contracted out to external movers. The Agency themselves were fine that they were quite favorable and showed up in time. Eventually I had given the amount of those men who really moved me personally and told to try phoning them. So I really did, he appeared perplexed because apparently I’d told me that the hand written reception he gave me wasn’t sufficient. After explaining that it was not because if does not even possess the businesses name on it. He said he’d misplaced their copy of this that was why he had not submitted it into the charging section. He informed me they’d earn a brand new one and apply it straight away.  Later that afternoon that the cherry on top of the whole dreadful adventure occurred. I received a phone from them needing to do a client satisfaction questionnaire. When I had been in the center of describing how miserable I was and I would not suggest this service for my buddies I had been put on hold middle sentence. Instead of they pitched me. 
Following 10 days and over 20 calls I eventually got my bill and I wouldn’t ever recommend this company due to their terrible customer support, and that I don’t at all know how it can they obtained a customers choice award.

To the movers were late, supposed to arrive at 10am but did not appear till 130pm. And not sent me a statement for the transfer and no one in the call centre might give me a direct answer. Also did not have some frequent courtesy to offer you some sort of rebate for the inconvinance….Will not rely on these again!

It took 3 guys 9 hours to move 1 truckload into a 1 bdrm apt. Just 1 block off since they wasted moment, and goofed around and didn’t utilize their hands packs to move sticks, exceptionally slow.
Blatant disrespect to get a client who’s paying by the hour.
Furniture and other possessions were ruined because of their carelessness. Company doesn’t reply to criticism or ask for refund. I think their site is extremely misleading.

Expensive and no customer support.
They broke my TV and missing a mirror and they won’t return calls or handle the matter.
They drag it out hoping you’ll go away.
Lawyer time.
Do not address these fools!

These men broke a Couple of things overcharged me and then went beyond the original quotation They gave me initially I Won’t Ever use their service again they had a poor attitude the Entire time I am not even sure if they are from America I would rather give my business to Americans and they are really poor at doing their job and charging older way over they ought to have I am so angry with their support I Won’t Ever visit them again never

Movers revealed up 6 hours later agreed time using a Uhaul!! Had to cancel our transfer and they attempted to bill me a penalty fee for two trucks 320$ per + tax. This was only weeks notice of cancellation. He then said I’ll get billed for a single truck and seemingly a listing of me agreeing with the that I didn’t. Additionally, I examined the contract that does not say any particular day for cancellation. He states over the telephone cancellation is at the minimum of seven days notice that’s precisely how many that I gave him and still said they’re charging my card (I gave them on the telephone to its deposit). When I phoned back after they”provided me a 200$ penalty fee”. Each additional inspector is 48 hour visit. This provider simply scams people out of cash after obtaining their credit card information.

The lead mover harassed and threatened me whenever I requested them to move huge items in a particular order. The security guard in my condo needed to inform them they discovered not take photographs of me personally, and help with controlling their behavior.

I tried calling metropolitain movers 8 hours to the move to inform them how dreadful the transfer was moving and that the transfer was likely to be way over my budget and not really worth what the last cost was becomming they said they’d call me back in 15 minute they never called back the last invoice is still being delt with.

Take note. I obtained my invoice before the project was completed and discovered extra fees on it. As soon as I inquired I had been lied to stating that they charge to the subsequent 1/2 hour. After discovering dirt all around the carpeting I requested a team member to place a blanket back and then he said okay. They left a massive mess. They required two hrs to drive to another city which has been an hr away. They then took an excess hr to reorganize the storage to generate everything match. This wasn’t accurate, I left enough room and that I was told they understood how to pile. The supervisor dragged out returning/answering my own calls. He explained he wld get these men to correct the damage and reunite my seat never occurred. Among the movers even called me and explained where the [EDIT] are you? I’m handed out at a subway quite tasteful. When I informed the supervisor he simply laughed really professionally. This provider double billed me in Sept and wld not have compensated me in case my cc supplier did not step in. The supervisor said he wld repay me the first price. This was in Sept, it’s now Nov.. This manager is filled with explanations, he’s in a storm in Florida, up in Sudbury or maybe not in his workplace. With the current technology, he cant call somebody to follow up with this? His talk is cheap, he’s not a person of the word and that is who’s running this organization? I believed I had been hiring professionals. I chilly have hired men off Kijiji and obtained same amount if not better service for less money.

I can not even start to explain to you just how far away page this provider is.  Their call centre agents answer the telephone without presenting themselves, their supervisors don’t call back to solve problems, and they immediately told me something that was not correct.  Not to mention that the site for Calgary Movers makes no mention of the fact that it is actually Metropolitan movers, even a firm with much worse reviews.  Our move experience began sunday september 15th.  Dependent on the online reviews, I called the number for’Calgary Movers’.  Their ph# is 1 -LRB-888-RRB- 840-9548.  There, I talked to Melissa, also gave a preliminary overview of the movement – which we were attempting to market appliances, so expect to not have any for the transfer to a home and another speech. As I did not have another speech, I consented to call back and finish setting this up on monday.  We reserved a team for Sunday, with the knowledge that when appliances were still there I’d be billed 45$ per appliance and 180$ for transferring the piano. I predicted back monday, gave another speech, advised that the appliances were unsold as yet, I do not believe the piano could sell.  They advised me to tell them friday if the piano and appliances were unsold, that they would consider ignoring the appliance price.  We supported the appointment for Sunday september 22 at 10am, knowing that when I cancelled they’d bill me 100$. Thursday I had been contacted by the movement planner.  He had been likely to be the one doing the movement.  He delivered a kind contact correspondence, appearing to believe there were just two pickup and one drop off place.  I adjusted this with him – telling him there was one pickup and also two drop off locations. Basically, though head office informed me that they did not possess necessary equipment for your transfer, the reality is that they never informed their furnace about the appliances etc when reserving him, and if he found out he stated he could not do it. Sunday morning, no movers showed up. I called them again that afternoon, told them nobody had revealed, that I was never advised that my move was cancelled.  I asked them how they could compensate, which I could schedule a transfer for wednesday.  They offered to provide 5 percent off the transfer, dismiss the hourly wage of four movers to 160$ and subtract the expense of transferring the appliances. I told them I’d call back with a choice. Monday I called back and agreed to book them for 3pm wednesday.  I requested to get an email confirming the deal. They sent an email list no appliances being transferred, no  percent reduction, only 3 movers in the then agreed upon speed of 130/hr. I predicted back tuesday repeatdedly, getting erroneous emails a total of 3 occasions, and asking a supervisor callback. I eventually talked to attracted again, that sent me an email list three appliances transferred free (still not right, since they were conscious of four appliances), the 180$ cost for pool dining table, the hourly fee and 5 percent reduction.  I advised him that I’d forgotten to record the manhood in our first dialog, that before sunday they’d advised they’d charge for it within an appliance.  I requested that they move it with no excess charge also.  Drew refused, stating they were already doing a lot of, and explained he was reviewing telephone recordings of my discussions with melissa. He suggested that the whole scenario was my fault. I burst at him, told me that they weren’t carrying the situation almost seriously enough, detailed their failings at period, then told him I will likely cancel the transfer, that I certainly expected no fees against them and wrapped up.  I called back later to affirm the counter after I’d reserved another firm for the transfer.

Overdue by 4 hours moved to Burlington speech rather than Oakville.
A lot of chips from seat table and legs. The sole saving grace was both young school students that coordinated the transfer proved rather pleasant but clearly NOT specialist movers.

If you’re utilizing Metropolitan Movers BEWARE! I utilized their Regina branch last August and haven’t had worse service. After not hearing some reply I called in again and had been advised that once again I had been given the incorrect email address. This time I had been permitted to talk to an agent. Therefore, after being left on hold for 15 seconds I eventually managed to talk to some one about my worries. I once again explained my difficulties and voiced my concern over the absence of communication. I was subsequently told that my criticism over stolen things WAS recorded and was within their own system expecting to be shipped into control. So they’d understood about my criticism for more than a month and had yet to get me. Next I was told I would only need to wait till direction could return to me and had been not able to receive any type of time frame for when that could be.
After not hearing anything for 2 months I called in again. I had been told direction had completed an evaluation, which somehow they could perform without actually contacting myself or my spouse and I would have to await the supervisor to maintain the office to listen to the outcome. So the following day I was eventually able to achieve a supervisor who advised me that he hadn’t ever heard of my difficulty and no evaluation was conducted. He was no motive for why I’d have been informed that this the day before. Then he attempted pushing off me by sending yet again a second email, but I was consistent I wouldn’t. He revealed zero concern once I told him that land was discharged and immediatley started calling me a liar and telling me that I had no evidence. He advised me that since I’d signed a job order once the movement was complete that they weren’t to be held reliable for any lost property. I inquired how anybody would know if things were lost unless I unpacked all of my things infront of these movers. He explained I must have left a note about the paperwork which I had no evidence.
So after getting zero assistance in their head office I went online and managed to monitor my wifes ipad online into a home at the center of Regina. With the aid of the authorities I managed to retreive the ipad. I asked the guy where he obtained the ipad. He explained that a man who fulfilled the description of among the movers in my home sold it to him for about $40 in the local Macdonalds. We hired this business after reading great reviews, but today after the truth, have recognized that all of those testimonials are clearly fake. (Just have a read of these testimonials on their site – they’re all written using the exact bad grammar exactly the same pick adjectives -“ideal”).

The movers came nearly 45 minutes late, and didn’t call to tell us that they would be coming late. This isn’t a small thing, particularly when you have been billed to reserve the lift.

The movers managed to transfer the materials of a 750 square foot condominium. To conserve some time, I moved all the little boxes and little items from the condominium myself, together with friends. Our children booked them awaiting a transfer date to business up. They shot their charge card # as”safety”…I’d not have any way! Earlier 24 hours, our children decided it was likely to be another date and called to cancel. They billed them 197 and have signaled they’ll be charging them longer! They didn’t adequately inform our children of the cancellation coverage and their bill and site would be very hierarchical. What a scam costume along with the other testimonials demonstrate it. We’ve increased a charge card dispute using MasterCard and can fight them in their own rip-off.

Arguably the worst consumer experience of my entire life.

The movers were supposed to get there at roughly 9:30am but predicted to postpone on three distinct occasions. My spouse and I both called head office and they weren’t useful in any way. These movers ruined our couch transferring it (it got coated in dirt as it wasn’t correctly shielded, and the movers were so careless). Whoever owns the firm made a deal with me that he’d arrange to have somebody come clean the sofa at his or her cost. He even told me he’d require $100 off the invoice till I was happy with the cleanup. He’s since been analyzing calls and hasn’t returned any of my voicemails or mails. Disappointed is an understatement. I wouldn’t recommend this firm if they had been the previous choice to select from. Along with the above, a number of items were also broken. Among the movers transported one lightweight thing at one time in the second storey into the truck. It took us a few hours longer than expected to package and load the vehicle, leaving the purchaser of our house to wait. Their support is shameful and also whoever owns the provider is extremely dishonest. Don’t expect them with your relocation.

Don’t use this organization. They had been nearly an hour late. Along with the 3 young guys that showed up weren’t professional movers in any respect. Hardly spoke English and weren’t wearing suitable shoes or clothing. They had no clue what they were doing. They needed to rearrange the vehicle 3 days to match things inside. I needed to help move objects since they were really slow. One of these stood around a few occasions and if he did take things he took one little thing at one time. My 11 year-old girl could take more. After we got into the new home we needed to assist them place back furniture together. They broke off a leg my ottoman and abandoned helpless foot prints across whole home. Then in regards to cover they billed way more than just quoted. I called to talk to a manger ( he also did not speak English well at all) and kept making excuses. He provided to waive a charge I was not even supposed to be billed. I wouldn’t suggest this moving team or business to anybody. Terrible experience!!

This company seems to utilize freelance movers which let Discount trucks and look for the transfer.
I asked a 20 – 24 foot truck along with both men showed up 3 (three) hours LATE, using a 15 foot truck, appeared in my things and maintained it’d take too long for them to maneuver along with that my things weren’t organized.

We appreciated what we thought was that a business by the name of Kingston Movers to get a transfer from Cornwall into Kingston. Although we advised them double what size truck had been demanded, they dismissed this and shipped 3 men, pickup truck and little trailer for your transfer. This took us to let an U-Haul to load some things & to create 2 additional trips to acquire products from Cornwall into Kingston. Called many occasions, they didn’t return calls,” filed a criticism, but didn’t hear back from them. We know they work from Toronto & contract outside the transfer, had we known this, we would not have hired them. Bad customer support without any follow up. Don’t suggest them!!

My daughter dwelt a nightmare now owing to your business.

I wished to local transfer in Niagara drops in my one bedroom flat into townhouse. My flat is in 3rd floor. I had an arrangement, and spoke with Raymond. I advised him that I need two employee, my property is in 3rd floor, so we put everything up.

Before going day, 1 person called me and stated that they have an extremely busy day, they all need to be quickly, he’ll send me 3 mover. I stated I’ve limited budget, so I cant manage. However, after he stated they’re quickly and no demand for minimal 3 hour support for 3 employees. And I believed my home is 1 bedroom flat, they could do the job quickly and complete in two hours. He persuaded me that 3 employees are simpler and economical to me.

Moving day that they arrived at 9. 30am. However, they did not begin punctually. They had been parking the truck to get fifteen minutes. After beginning, they were rather slow. My daughter and my buddy carried over those. They had been delaying the job obviously.
After loading everything finally, before going into my new address among the employee came and desired me to create the payment. I used ton’t know, Because we did not move to my new address and they did not uploaded the things. I really got leery at that moment. He desired me to be responsible for stairs charge, which I have not heard previously. They worked really slow to increase the hourly fee.

Once I called their manager who’s title is Ajmal, he chased me into accepting my furniture and what to Toronto. My daughter began to cry, she desired her toys. I said them I’ve limited budget, they’re adding, including and eventually they find several thousand dolar to get only 1 bedroom furniture.

Their behavior was quite rude and mean. They weren’t believing their job, exactly how do they make much money from me.

I paid now to this business 1060$ (following their reduction ) only for a single bed, 1 sofa and 2 dresser. However, as a beginner, now I learned my lesson which do not trust moving businesses. Now they accepted my money from threatening and that they really didn’t deserve.

I wished to write a review to tell everybody know just how disgusted I am with this provider. A few of the men are extremely unprofessional. They were late coming to move us. They didn’t ship any conformation for their terms & conditions. We moved out of a 1 bedroom plus a den condominium and it took three months to maneuver us. We had quite minimal furniture. And most of that asked for a hint. A household member used them before and only paid $400 to transfer her possessions from a home in Richmond mountain to Newmarket. I invested $350. To proceed 5-10 minutes off. Once I’d called to complain about the support I had been given. I had been hang up on. Told that it had been in the mail which I never received that I must cover the entire 3 hours even though it requires a shorter period etc.. And informed there was nothing which can be done for me personally. Which is amusing as another employee I talked with while this movement was occurring said due to each one of these issues he could dismiss the transfer. When he discovered that his employees were being paid at the history that he hang up the telephone and even after I attempted to call backagain. They dismissed my calls. Now normally I wouldn’t consider not paying somebody once they’ve given a service for me personally but if I’d understood that this is the kind of support I’d be receiving. I must say I’d have thought otherwise. Please do use this firm for whatever reason. They’re deceptive and not really worth the hassle.

All I will say is that this is the worst company in history. They’re super unprofessional and they broke things during our movement and still have not repaid us to the harms. Don’t USE

I believed the movers were very fast and useful. But, things weren’t as they appeared. I’d advised them to depart a vest along with its contents supporting, but once I wasn’t in the area, the dresser was packaged. I was worried because my wedding ring (that was at an’Peoples’ring box) was at the top of the dresser. I had been confident that everything was placed from the dresser drawers. However, once I proceeded to unpack the following day, my first ring was nowhere available. I named the manager responsible for my transfer and only requested where the movers’d placed the ring (I presumed that they may have put it elsewhere or may have dropped out from the vehicle ). The manager never called me back, it was always him calling him. I named the major company and has been basically told it had been my own fault. At the last telephone contact with the supervisor, he stated I don’t have any evidence of anything and then go ahead and report it to the authorities and wrapped up. So unprofessional and rude. I only wish to learn what they did together with my ring and need it returned.

I scheduled a Neighborhood transfer over a month Beforehand, I called in the time when a truck must have came and was advised that an hour late was ordinary.   An hour after that I received a telephone call from a man whose English was dreadful (Toronto) who subsequently lied to me personally, which the truck transmission was collapsed and wouldn’t be available for the following 3 times.   I offered to lease a truck from a different business but has been responded to with such ignorance.   I asked for a supervisor to phone and they did, however, maintained the broken down truck narrative and provided a 5 percent reduction. Not only was I on the hook for safety fees in my strata (~$200) and booked parking 40 and at the conclusion Metropolitan gave me a $20 rebate.   These people are absurd, they just contract movers.   Avoid them at all costs.

I had such a horrible experience with all the moving business. They shipped me two unprofessional Chinese men who had been crying in each other throughout the entire moment. (Perhaps they were speaking normally) Initially, I needed to get a mattress at another location that was a few blocks away from my new location. The bed was a queen sized mattress and it could not get from the space easily. They began yelling at one another and eventually chose to crack down the mattress, but they had been too lazy to get it done. They shot out a single part of their frames and began dragging the remaining frames (they had been U shaped afterward ). At the time, the eyeglasses broke and they had been yelling in each other again.I requested them to carry them apart until they broke yet another area, and they then blamed me for splitting up the mattress frame. “You said we ought to take out them without taking them aside! Would you still want the frames since they won’t have the capacity to be placed together. Why not leave them here” [EDIT]??!! I needed to pick up the mattress from the area and I had been so angry in their attitude.I called the company to complain.  They stated”We aren’t a furniture business, we’re a moving business” and they needed me to sign the deal newspaper when they struck my furniture….And they then walked off their work for nearly an hour.Also they had been walking about with their shoes on on my brand new clean carpeting. I requested them to take off the shoes. Guess what they explained to me. In other words,”It is fine if you need us to take off our shoes but when we do it is gont take some time and cost money.” I was left speechless using all the skilled MOVERS!! My previous location, new location and also the location where I picked up on the mattress are all just a few cubes away.It took them 5.5 hours to finish the entire transferring and charged me over $627 with no reception…I swear it is true. NEVER apply this moving business. . They certainly charge far too much to their dreadful services.

To begin with , they moved so slow. They took 2.5 hours to maneuver a two bedroom which was largely bins. 1 man didn’t even do anything. They’d take a few down items in some time and take forever to return up.

When we came, we needed to assist them move everything upstairs since we just had so much time left. The 1 man then chose to sit back in his truck the whole time.

Finally, they ruined our walls while going since they had no clue how to maneuver correctly.

This was the last straw. We were able to find some cash from the last cost, however, it was still more than it must have been.

Please for your own sanity remain far away from the organization.

Unbelievable. Our home is sold and we must move out. Metropolitan movers predicted on the morning of the movement to initially to postpone the start by 2 weeks. They then called to cancel, stating their truck broke down. Can not they lease anything? They’ve no backup program? We are screwed.

Their reply:” there is nothing I could do, I will hang up now”

We are scrambling trying to obtain another inspector, however Metropolitan hasn’t heard the end of the.

I hired those movers for a tiny transfer of some things to a ground floor storage locker. After working for approximately an hour that they chose to take a 15 minute break that I should not need to cover. 1 kid remained largely from the truck glancing around while another one moved things. There went incredibly slow. I had been moving things myself and that I am a 50 year-old worman and that I took multiple heaps for each one he shot!! We left at precisely the exact same moment to my locker and it had been nearly 100% street. Somewhere along the way that they appeared to disapear for approximately 40 mintues. The locker is right off the street and impossible to overlook. After at the locker they behaved the exact same way, dragging their feet and shooting breaks, I even caught one child sitting in the truck taxi texting on his cell phone. Once they finished they charged me for 5 hours. I was livid since they were just working for 4 hours. They moved over the four hr markers by 5 minutes and explained to me that this was their coverage. They even had the guts to ask me to get a hint!!!! I asked for my receipt and they stated it’d be emailed to me personally. As soon as I left them I called Nicole Adams and asked for my invoice to be revised to 4 hrs. She explained she’d provide me 1/2 hr and send me the reception. I’ve just called her to get a 3rd time and still no receipt.Nicole texted a reception to me that I can’t read and gets the header cut away. Nicole explained that next time I had a move to phone her straight and she would give me a much better deal than her firm could because she had her very own 4 trucks around the side??? As soon as I talked to her last night she asked me to do her a”huge favour” and that if anybody from her firm called me to simply tell them I had been too busy to speak. She asked me to not let them know since it’d indicate a good deal of paperwork to get her. I just can’t believe the nerve and total lack of customer service and of course respect!!! I still do not know the quantity of my closing bill!!!
I should not need to cover the 15 minute break nor the time they wasted in getting into my locker. They had been supporting me on the street and there were not any traffic problems. They took an additional 40 minutes after I came. As a result, after getting off the street that they needed to have ceased someplace since the locker isn’t far off the street.

In 2018, Metropolitan movers delivered a representative to our home to help us plan our transfer of appliances and furniture to storage and then to deliver it back. I hate moving and hired movers therefore that it would go easily. This was the complete opposite! We needed to assist (3 girls and a child ) because just 1 man was functioning. Movers confirmed the evening before they’d arrive involving 8-9am. They came past 10am. “We moved into the incorrect speech” was their explanation (does not everybody have GPS!? Or would not a wise person check the speech daily before if they were not knowledgeable about the town??!) . Movers weren’t professional (regardless of how often they said they had been ) They had been argumentative (greater than once throughout the afternoon ) and nearly called me a liar several occasions. I had been quoted a cost of 480$ + tax. They billed me near 1000$ and desired to bill me an additional half hour. (Took them 6 hours to maneuver a little 2 bedroom flat ). They ruined some of my items that I just noticed after they’d abandoned.
I won’t recommend them to anybody, and sorrow working with this business. Stay far away!

I contrated with Metropolitan Movers because of my transfer and with no consent that they subcontracted my transfer into Maplegreen Movers.  I’d no idea that they had done this before I had been presented with a statement from Maplegreen Movers at 9pm that night. As soon as I was preparing for work two days after, all of my golden jewellery was missing out of my jewellery box. The”customer service” representative wouldn’t affirm that they make sure that the firms they subcontract to’re ensured. No restitution from either company. Interestingly, the charge card I needed to use to cover my transfer over the telephone that night was utilized to perpetuate nearly $20,000 of credit card fraud two weeks afterwards. London Police exploring and I’m pursuing legal actions.

This isn’t a moving business – they contract into additional third party movers from town and misrepresent themselves!!!! Obtained a quotation for a three bedroom home move, working together with the business on the internet and over the telephone. Disclosed that we had alot of heave things such as 6 major screen television. Was told just additional charge is for washer/dryer and fitness center gear and two movers would be all that could be required. On the afternoon of the transfer, three movers showed up at my door and I had been advised that there could be an extra $40/ hour fee since I had so much material. I’d dedicated to shifting that day and has been forced to consent to the conditions. I made the decision to assert the fee with MEtropolitan since these men weren’t Metroplitan movers however a sub-contracted firm representing them. Of the 3 movers, just one has been seasoned and always adjusted another two on how to correctly pick up and load things that added significant time to the transfer when compared with a seasoned team use to transferring individuals. They were very pleasant men but not the grade I’d have anticipated – it was just like getting amateur friends assist me proceed. The transfer took twenty five hours and 2 trips to the new home which isn’t even five minutes off even though I’d dissassembled the bedroom and living gear to accelerate the procedure. We didn’t take many things I will move now in my own… that the home is far from empty. The transfer out of a two bedroom home into a condominium, with a stop over for storage, cost me over $2000.

Metropolitan Movers does not even do the moving occupation, they contract it out to local businesses. So far as the actual movement went, I was quite happy. But, moving day was quite emotional for me as my husband and I are splitting up. The mover took good advantage of this and ended up regretting me 500. I followed up with Metropolitan Movers and has been given the run around. I then needed to follow up directly with the moving business (Maple Green Transferring and Logistics at London, Ontario) to request a refund. I had been told they’d be starting an investigation and could allow me to know the results. It was quite apparent that what my contract said was quite different from the bill. Maple Green had duplicates of both things, so they ought to have been apparent on the additional charges. Apparently I signed up for extra insurance over the day of my move, which wasn’t made apparent to me from the mover and has been billed for additional line items that my contract insured. It required nearly a complete week of me phoning and texting daily followed up with a threat to sue them. Then miraculously $400 has been e-transferred to me (minus the insurance fee). Don’t use either one of those companies!

This firm did not reveal at the time I was told, in addition they did not call and that I needed to. Were told that they’d call me back, had to wait for 20 minutes to be given a telephone then was told that the truck broke so that I asked if they could return , they said they’d call me to tell me. I waited another 20 minute before opting to call them back and had been told that they could not get a grasp of anybody in order that they would need to once more call me backagain. Within an hour after they called and informed me that they might develop a week after to transfer my things. Worst Programs Ever! Not only did they never match all our items on the vehicle and left 4 feet of vacant space across the whole 24 ft of their vehicle, which meant people needed to rent a UHaul and transfer the remainder of ourselves yet another day using a toddler — next to impossible, but also they dissappeared for 5 hours that meant our moving day was substantially longer than it had to be — again, maybe not perfect with a toddler.

They double-booked as a way to generate money off the truck but becuase of that they were racing. I’d asked for assistance packaging — it is very tough to pack everything up which has a little infant, and the things that they did pack they pulled hastily into a box and I had to repack to ensure no obligations. Unfortunately while I was nursing, they packaged up a place I specifically asked them not to package, but just noticed once they’d finished moving that part of their home that they had packaged it no matter my directions — today an extremely sentimental and pricey thing is missing. I asked the movers right if they’d seen it and they refused it.

Thus, not only did they proactively package my things, badly package the truck, steal a priceless item, however they double-booked, got dropped, and dissappeared for 5 hours — they had my child’s bed, so, I could not put her into bed till they eventually came.

I have hired several professional movers and that I went together with Metropolitan Movers/ Ottawa Movers becuase of this high rating and degree of authenticity — I had been so disappointed. They were so rude, hardly understood my directions, were faked, whined for me personally for me to pay money, and requested me to lie to their managers about the number of hours it took them so that they could steal away from their managers. The movers and the firm continue to refuse to give me a suitable invoice — all because I paid money because the movers told me we needed to because it was so late at night once they ended, they maintained the office had been shut.

They also claimed they had been going fast to benefit us, but due to their laborious occupation, we needed to cover the excess cash for a truck leasing and after that it took us two more full days of transferring ourselves (you attempt moving using a baby) to eventually complete the job — particularly due to those two hours of driving labeled onto the transfer (1 hour daily ).

DO NOT GO WITH THIS MOVING COMPANY IF YOU WANT THE JOB DONE EVEN REMOTELY CORRECT — THEY SCREWED UP EVERY ASPECT OF MOVING!

I simply asked because of their support past july 30 fro delivery and pick to grande prairie now august 6. They had been so clumsy in regards to moving/arranging my things from the vehicle. The worst section, the supervisor who gave me the exact quotation told me that the whole pickup and unload will require about 3 hours but the whole pickup and delivery required 7.5 hrs excluding the traveling time of 5 hrs that I also paid. They had been so slow when they had been providing since they broke his microwave plus they simply wish to offer me a discount rather, which I didn’t take.

Moreover, throughout the conversation with the supervisor, they ceased unloading my stuff that amuses their hours that was detected by everyone in the construction. This is the worst move I’ve had in my life.The first estimate of 2350 ended around 2992! In the first 3 hr operate it finished around 7.5 hrs.

Worst service I have ever received. Movers whined all day about having to move heavy items. There were 4 men, designed to quicken the movement, however after 11 hours that they still weren’t completed moving into my new house, they did not put back together some of those 3 bedrooms, so they left my sofas in bits and did not set a desk back together. My 72 year-old dad had to help them go many things and has been compelled to put together things they didn’t. And of course, they left a lot of marks and dents in my own walls. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY. Completely awful and no one in the primary office cares about the way their employees handle their clients.

Very poor experience would never advocate of use this provider again. Shad, hidden costs, and they took forever. The movers took smoke breaks throughout the entire movement pulling it out. When I spoke to the customer support representative Warren, to whine about the price and the length of time the movement was taking he had been exceptionally rude, unprofessional, and boundary line abusive. Transferring is already stressful enough don’t book with this business and make it even worse.

These individuals contracted to another party when I specifically asked when they did that the rep responded that they don’t. HIRE A LOCAL MOVER and You’ll BE BETTER OFF ESPECIALLY WITH THE UNPROFESSIONAL, INEFFECTIVE, AND INEFFICIENT COMMUNICATION!!! They billed me for THREE guys to maneuver ONE PC desktop tower sized thing that weighs approx. 200 pounds. I’m unimpressed and they ripped me off. That is along with them messing up my moving date so that I had to wait around for that they promised to have never provided the suggested date that I originally agreed to. They blamed me. Don’t Use METROPOLITAN MOVERS!!

Price over $2200. Worst ever encounter. Men just dumped things. Placing furniture upside down in our new location. Sideboards positioned sideways. Drawers not added. Furniture dismantled. Place looked like a war zone. Paid for two trucks, but they attracted the 2nd little sized and thus had to create instant trip costing more time and money. Terrible Terrible. Can NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE! And took away our brand new dolly. Asked them to reunite. Still have not heard back

It was a dreadful experience. They still didn’t complete their work before 7pm. Two porters, in the two bedroom flat into a townhouse. 15 minutes drive. After 8 hours, then it was still not finished. I advised them to cease.

Living nightmare. They ought to be shut down.

They are absolutely the worst moving company I’ve dealt with – DO NOT USE THEM. They’ll turn your already stressful move into a chaotic nightmare.  They took 11 hours to maneuver a 1500 sq ft Town house into a two bedroom home situated just 20 minutes apart. They would not take our items from truck till we paid the $1100.00, that wasn’t well worth it. We did all of the work. They charge by the hour.They proved amazingly slow, so we had ourselves, three guys, and one girls put each of the boxes onto the driveway until they arrived. They all needed to do was execute the heavy things, which was just a 2 bedroom with workplace. No appliances, except a freezer in basement. The patio furniture was even out front in the rear yard to simplify the procedure. I’ve moved six times in my lifetime and I don’t encounter anything like that before. Im so angry!!!

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! Supposed to select up at 9am… showed up at 8:30pm without any excuse or communicating in between. They were assumed to package my things and deliver stuff. They simply supplied 10 boxes and a few tape. I needed to offer the remaining stuff and pack my items. It ended up taking two weeks to pick my things up after which they were a week late delivering. I wound up with things which weren’t even mine. I feel like what they informed me was a falsehood. They stated they ensured up my pick and drop off time. That is why I picked them. They stated my things were insured for $50K. I discovered afterwards that they ended up placing in words in my contract which seemed like exactly what we had agreed to on the telephone but were nothing whatsoever what we spoke about. The insurance was actually only 50 cents a pound. Technically, I am still waiting for them to return my calls and tell me how their”investigation” in my criticism is moving. It has been two weeks and the one thing I discovered was that the story they told the Better Business Bureau when I whined about them… something about a broken truck around the afternoon of the pickup… true I never discovered once from the 100 un-returned calls I made to them. I feel like those people are con artists and will do whatever they wish to create money. I had been billed $4600 for a little one bedroom to go from Calgary to Saskatoon since I don’t have any means of confirming how far my items weighed. Worst. Experience. Ever.

These would be the worse folks to take care of. I proceeded together Jan/2014 and because then I’m still waiting for things solved. They broke a glass in my cupboard and they broke one of my tables leg. They weren’t honest enough to inform me, therefore what these unprofessionals did was tape the top of my desk back together. We’ve emailed them countless times and unlimited phone calls and still today July/2014, no information yet.   Please trust me don’t bother with those unprofessional dishonest men and women.

Beaware they bill you the foundation fee should you cancel! I’d canceled my transferred 1 month before and they billed me 225$ exactly what a scam! I recommend these men they will rob you blind.

Their estimated period was 6 to 8 hours so that I was convinced I could manage these movers. Regrettably it took them 12 extended hours. I’d obviously labeled each box along with a whole lot were put in the incorrect location. Heavy boxed that I took the opportunity to tag were put on the primary floor once I wanted them to become upstairs. It ended up being lots of work I’d like to take the hefty boxes around. The woman on the phone told me they’d storage centers in my city. They were suppose to return to maneuver me around the 19th of July and also on Tuesday in 8:55 P.M.  I received a call in the inspector telling me that they had been overbooked and could not perform the transfer between 8 and 9 am. He advised me that they’d be here in the day sometime.  Well that simply didn’t work for me personally. The mover desired me to proceed on the preceding Friday and that I said that could not occur as I did not receive the keys then. I believed I would need to place my things in storage along with the fellow told me that my things would need to go to Winnipeg rather than my town and I would be billed mileage to and back in Winnipeg.  Well that didn’t cut it in my books. As soon as I sent a email to this business that the next morning whining about this operation the  moving expert told me that thoughts office could contact me.  Well that didn’t occur until after dinner.  How can you rely on this sort of service. I was advised when I phoned the company to ask about going me I explained that when I realized there wasn’t a $300.00 charge.  They asked for the credit card, and so I gave them the number, they then wanted the amount on the rear of the card and that I would not give it to her.  I named the visa business and advised them to not place any invoice throught for the firm. Head office informed me that there will be no charge since it was their error.  He cried that does not help me whatsoever. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MOVE ANYTHING.

Details of my Transferring Expertise (North York place experience):
Allow me to preface by stating, you’d do a far better job of going on your own than hiring those folks. Before my move together with Metropolitan Movers, I emailed the owner a comprehensive and comprehensive collection of all my furniture with all the measurements into the top of my skill so that I could be fit most correctly about the price for my shifting job. I had been quoted 3-4 hrs maximum. The project required over 9.5 hrs and yes I had been billed for the entire 9.5hrs.

Quality of Service:
+By the start of the movement, the two men sent to the task were unprofessional: they kept battling facing me, and flirting with all the client. I needed to reschedule the elevator together with great difficulty because I missed my booked window, of course just how frustrating and nearly impossible that procedure was.

+ The proprietor knew this job wasn’t getting done correctly and in a timely manner – that he showed up in the spectacle. The movers showed up into the brand new condominium 3 hours late. The proprietor said they were recently hired — which explains why the absence of quality supplied. The unloading procedure began to drag. Elevators which were booked for the movement began to smell like marijuana.

+ I needed to call relatives to come help me with the movement because it was getting late.

+ END RESULT: going day started at 9am and finished way beyond midnight with near $2000 of ruined furniture.

Significant Truth:
+ I had been nominated for this shifting occupation, despite my comprehensive email with all items to be transferred — a error on the operator’s part that he wants to take responsibility for.
+The hired movers had been unprofessional in their conduct and the way that they handled my furniture.
+ The movers shattered the next things: the screen panel of my TV – I obtained a third party pro firm come to reevaluate that the damages had been due to the movers and that my TV is irreplaceable and cannot be corrected. See attachment for images. They broke half of my wine glasses, book shelves, and also the bottoms of my wardrobe therefore the entire thing dropped. I transferred out of glenwood Windsor into LaSalle and also this MOST unprofessional mover fleeced me for million extra dollar by squandering plenty of time Three workers were just arguing and rather than packaging busy in speaking with household people the majority of the moment. Except one nap two were exceptionally unprofessional in action. They billed for hours but wasted my time since they had no packaging supplies. Two of these went to perform shopping through time billed to me.

I would not ever suggest this Calgary business to anybody ever. I’m totally frustrated with all the customer support or lack there of. This firm didn’t meet their agreement to package all of my items and move them. They left arbitrary items in cabinets and then totally missed others. Since coming in the new location I have discovered my ipad, mouse, keyboard, and also the 4 shifting blankets I provided all overlooking. I hired Metropolitan Movers because of my transfer on Friday June 29th, 2018 at St. Catharines. What a NIGHTMARE of a moving encounter. My 1920’s Victorian couch was not wrapped or coated and was torn throughout the movement, it appeared like they could not care less, even customer support once I called fluffed off me. The movers took a marble table which belonged to some decease Grandmother, broke it in half and hammering it in the truck and left with it in the close of the day. After realising I did not possess the table (two days after my movement ) it took them 5 days to react (I phoned and emailed everyday) and then brought back the table in half! (Just after I started posting on societal websites relating to this nightmare). They said the guys had no thought they took it?! They assert it was still in the vehicle. Sorry I do not feel that!!! How can a moving business onto one of the busiest weekends to maneuver not use their truck for 5 times? . . I don’t have any clue how this company got a Client Service award! I paid a small fortune to get my things moved down the road, and am now have a broken table (can not be fixed because of it being brass) which has been really sentimental to me personally along with a ripped irreplaceable classic couch. Metropolitan Movers possess a business in Toronto known as TWO MEN WITH A MOVING TRUCK plus they’re capitalizing on people becoming confused as I did.

It required two Guys 6 hours to proceed just a bed, Frame, box spring, and thick cupboard, and a headboard out of an apartment into a home (Taking into consideration 45mins traveling time). They would not function unless repayment for the whole project has been paid in total (minus tax) in the the halfway mark. They left me pay it or they would not drive into the new place, therefore that I sent an email transport Since at the point I had been scared and did not want them using my credit card information. It was a dreadful experience complete and left me in tears. I am glad they do not understand where I live because I just moved things from one buddies to the other’s, I have the impression they’re dangerous. I was trembling occasionally that I was so worried by their behavior.

Then two guys without looking and uniform very thuggish get from a truck which does not have the business name on it. Both of these guys moved so slow that it was absurd. While the two movers were efficient and friendly, I found damages to my own furniture on unpacking. Additionally, I sliced my finger open on a wrapped glass photo frame which was broken within a box. I submitted images of this damage to the things in question. I had been advised by a Client Service Manager that because I’d signed the conclusion form once the movers left they aren’t accountable for some of the harm. I explained I did not locate the damages before I started unpacking. The Manager explained that I must have unpacked my whole belongings before the movers leaving afterward. Seriously!?!? I had been moving flats in downtown Toronto and needed to be from my flat around the final day of March and also counld’t go in before the 1st day of April.   Metropolitan Movers were excellent, told me that they could hold my items for a day and they’d deliver my things the next morning. Had a piano which has been over 18 years old and worried it could get ruined.   They covered it up nicely with blankets and proceeded with no marker on it, in fantastic condition. I had to hire a moving company to assist me move flats (in Calgary) and so I booked a project with MM. I’ve got two (first!) Arcade-style pinball machines and those are equally heavy and rather delicate, and so I was concerned about transferring them. They had to travel hundreds of miles per hour, but left it rather easy on me by not charging me an arm and a leg. Very happy! Will use again later on if I ever move back again.
