Marine Corps Movers Are Not Reliable

Think twice about hiring Marine Corps Movers. I hired Marine Corps Movers at the start of the week to perform a little move in my storage device. I talked with Boston and we scheduled for Thursday morning that would permit me to shut the storage unit accounts without extra cost. Thursday morning, they had been a no-show. I phoned Boston and he made an excuse that they did not have my number to notify me that their truck broke down. He advised me to email him my particulars and we rescheduled for Friday morning. He said he would call Thursday afternoon to tell me about the truck. I phoned him Thursday evening since he did not call me, but he confirmed the truck was prepared and all was a move. He supported the program for Friday morning. Friday morning arrived and moved – this time he did not even have the courtesy to answer the telephone. No forecasts, simply no-shows. Seriously? Why say you will take the job when you don’t have any goals of follow-through? I picked Marine Corps Movers since they’re Veterans. I was once engaged to a Marine, my dad retired as a Lieutenant General, my spouse is a Veteran of the Air Force and Coast Guard, and I’ve only admiration for our Veterans. Regrettably, these men give Veterans a lousy title. I’m really frustrated and warn others who these men can not be trusted. Now, I am stuck paying for one more month to get a storage device that still has to be cleared.

    Marine Corp Movers are EXCELLENT

As one girl, I’d multiple questions regarding going. Prices, treatment & condition of my possessions, and above all, my own safety. Some businesses employ day laborers with no respect to their occasionally sketchy backgrounds. These strangers will then understand where I reside and have been at my property. I contacted the Marine Corps Enforcement because the standing of ethics associated with all the Marines. I found Boston to become respectful, respectful, and incredibly professional. He promised me that the movers could really be prior Marines. This made me feel much more safe. The Marines came early, were considerate, and handled my possessions and I determined. They were quite effective, professional, and really hardworking. In only a couple hours, everything has been transferred out & in, and they had been kind enough to organize my furniture at how I inquired. They even set up my own bed. I wholeheartedly suggest the Marine Corp Movers. Can I want moving services later on, they’d be my first telephone. They’re fairly priced, hardworking, respectful, and more professional. I was also pleased to support local pros. Sincerely, Kerri

    GREAT MOVERS, GREAT PRICE

From begin to finish, these would be the very professional, hardworkng, calculated and concentrated group of guys we’ve ever worked with.  They came EARLY, which was highly appriciated.  They took great care of our antiques and delicate products.  We had $5,000 worth of silver that they packaged and rich for us.  It was fine to have folks that we trusted with these precious products.  We’ve refured them to friends of ours and they had exactly the exact same experience.  These guys are the very best.

6-Mile 3500 pound House of Furniture Move

All went well from begin to finish with just a couple items damaged (mattress headboard broken; scrapes on furniture; broken armoire). Then, in the very end of this transfer I compensated John Boston $500.00 in cash; and $100.00 suggestion for him. I told him that I had been goin to likewise give $50.00 tip to every one of his two employees. He said:”May I give it to them?” I had been taken by surprise with his query. However, said”OK. Just be certain that you give it to them here before you depart.” He concurred. After he explained his last words to his two employees, independently, he left, leaving his two employees at my speech. I asked them when they obtained their suggestion and one said that he had, in the sum of $20.00. Another employee was amazed when I inquired because he reacted that he never obtained my suggestion. I phoned John Boston immediately just to receive his voice mail. Among those employees called Boston and handed the phone over to me personally. Boston explained that he’d call me back soon. I never got a telephone call from John Boston. This was March 28th, 2013. Now is June 12th, 2013. Still no telephone and he never paid the employees my 100 (complete ) tip.

    Extremely pleased!

I had private items delivered in condition, in my new home office place. The movers were certainly experienced. They were quite considerate and very careful with my house. They picked up my items as agreed upon and sent every thing in excelent condition punctually. My boxes have been tagged and put in the proper room. They moved beyond the call of duty! I will certainly use this company again and tell my friends to use these also.

    Sincerely,
    Ms Adams

    WARNING**STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!!

Even the”movers” delivered to manage our move weren’t professional in any way. They hired on to earn additional cash. This was demonstrated when they ruined multiple parts of our furniture and then wished to perform a fast fix with adhesive! They came completely oblivious with NO tools, hand trucks, wrap, etc! The so called owner Sgt John Boston Hill (whatever his real name is) attempted to sugar coat damages and now refuses to return my calls or respond to email or texts to repay the harm problems!! I strongly doubt they’re even insured!
They aren’t all Vets and also to say you’re”Saluting the troops” and hiring a hero is only a flat out lie! They’re a severe disgrace to the troops and our specialists!!!
Locate a respectable mover, not all these men!

    Making a third booking

Employed this company twice before and am really happy. We even let them push our next car to our new place because we have just one driver in our household. We are just about to reserve them for a third go in the directions and also have absolute confidence that they’ll do a nice job. They’re above considerate and professional.

    My moving experience

I have never transferred from 1 country to another and that I had been filled with a great deal of stress. In the very first telephone call to the past John was quite reassuring.   They came early for pickup, they have been courteous and professional.   My things were transferred and delivered without any incident. I Would Suggest Marine Corps Movers to anybody shifting state to state or even local.   You may rest easy knowing you are in great hands with Marine Corps Movers.

    Local move

If you are going to proceed. These are the men that you would like to employ. I believed they were superb. Every component of the things they did was specialist. Superior support, and fast turnaround time. Worked with me on a really tight agenda and were quite accommodating. When I was planning to have a buddy family or loved one transferred I’d employ these men with no reservation. I trusted everything that they did. They have been upfront, professional and totally honed into ensuring my expertise went exceptionally well. I do not often provide recommendations. However, I believed this was a time at which I actually needed to be certain that people know that these men are the real thing. Many thanks to Boston along with his group!

Update : Whitney & Tito worst experience ever

We used them to move our belongings out of MD to FL and they ruined and stole/misplaced our possessions. To start off I thought things were going great in starting but sadly not. I was very eager to get our things especially my son things because he kept requesting his toys and films. To make a long story short this encounter wasn’t a great one.

Mr. Boston charged us an additional $150.00 because of his neglect 1st he phoned me to mention Mrs. You will find additional boxes then we anticipated but I’m not likely charge you in the event that you do me a favor and leave a sterling review on this site” mymovingreviews.Com” (I feel this is the way he receives his testimonials ) that I did since and that I figured hey I need to because I do not have some of my stuff yet and what if he decides to not pick this up when I do not leave a fantastic review, so I felt dumb because I had no means of getting our things. A couple of days after he calls my husband to state he did not understand that our stuff was in MD when it says in the email that our possessions where in MD so he charged us an additional 100.00. What an explanation. We had un haul cut the lock about them on Friday because he forgot to pick up our keys in FL since he said he’d our record in the incorrect month (yeah sure) I do not even believe he keeps any documents. Anyhow, he called me at 9 pm the evening before he supplies our things and say” Mr. We broke off your personal computer table and in addition to that I must charge you an additional 50.00 since your boxes proved to be a dreadful mess and we needed to repackage your things” and he said we wouldn’t generally pick up any boxes such as this. Wait wait wait! Why phone a day until you send my things to state this, why don’t you call a week once you advised me to leave a sterling review. Why don’t you say well you’ve got additional boxes along with your boxes are a wreck. He’s a liar! Because they ruined our boxes while going they didn’t pack the truck properly. He basically blamed us. I was pissed because they were brand new boxes & plastic bins. I understand we packaged properly.

The day comes in which they send our stuff allow me to tell you I was in shock once I walked through my door. They called me at 8:45 am to mention they are 10 minutes off. I informed them that the door will be unlocked since I need to find out cash thus unload the stuff from the living space. My husband was at work I guess to pick him up since I didn’t wish to be there alone with guys that I never met but had no moment since mr boston didn’t inform me that he’d be there that early he explained between 9:30 and 10. Anyhow, once I came they had been waiting in the front of the house smoking cigarettes and ghetto as ever. He had his hand out for the cash once I pulled up. I handed him the money without looking at my things < stupid me> however I had no option because what if I didn’t cover them it was 3 of these against my small self. He walked with me inside and I had no words thats how stunned I was in how my possessions were. They left and didn’t provide me a receipt or statement.

I noticed that they even used my guest toilet without inquiring left the chair up and pee all on the rim of the bathroom I needed to pick up there cigarette butts they left out I was so disgusted I needed to sanitize everything.

I phoned my husband yelling because our stuff had been ruined, dirty and destroyed. I hunted through the boxes and detected several objects missing

He also claim he tags individuals things when he picks up them that isn’t true since I even have other folks belongings in my property. This was sent their truck off. I feel bad for others that’s missing there things.

If you’re missing a bag filled with clothing please contact me I’ve got it here.

We even had to call the sheriff dept since we’re missing a lot of things. There’s so much things missing that we called him desiring answers his answer was offer me a day so that I can determine what’s happening. This was on Friday (dec 24th) its currently Tuesday still no telephone that we call him and that he don’t answer.

    Materials That’s missing:

    Expensive oil paintings
    Kitchen items
    Collection of pricey organic seasonings
    Computer desk
Collection of children films (over 100)
Children toys (my kid is indeed hearted broken. We must begin his collection around.)
    Much much more!

You guys do your homework before booking anything together. I even submitted a claim with the BBB. I called my attorney and information 8 on your side.

This business shouldn’t be in business! Read the dreadful reviews on BBB. They’re liars. They’ll make any explanation to earn their self-look great but in fact, they’re not just lying to their clients but they’re clinging to their selves too.

If anybody reads this and you also used him as your plumber and you’ve got some of the stuff please get me. Particularly in the event that you’ve got the children toys and films.

Update: I found that the folks that lost there luggage yesterday. I needed to undergo there private possessions to receive their number. They were very excited to receive it back. Since you know Mr. Boston claimed them that he’d locate it nut never return to them. Yeah sure since he told him we had it and that he didn’t even try to come back and get it to them. He screwed them over as well.

They’re such a scam! Trust me don’t use them!

    Stay away, liars...

Will add lots of details for the following, but this really is a fast note to state that this is the worst experience ever…. They will not keep their promise on whatever. Nothing. They’ll want to charge you twice as much. They’ll be competitive. OUR THINGS ARE GONE. WE STILL HAVE OTHER PEOPLE”S PRECIOUS BELONGINGS> We have given them a few months now, and nothing. They do not react to anything, therefore a lot of our stuff is gone and we’ve got many critical things that appeal to other individuals, heirloom pics, fiscal docs etc.. Please get in touch if you’re missing items — particularly if the move was about October. Please get in touch should you’ve got things which don’t belong to you. We’ve requested them several times to provide us the connections of those people whose items were at precisely the exact same movement with ours– they did not. They didn’t bother to pick up these either. John Boston HIll will lie about the place for you and will provide unique versions. We’ll take legal actions, we’re wishing we would not need to and actually waited a few months to allow them to react. Nothing that they say is accurate, and they’ll double the amount that they say. They’ve no insurance, no truck, no title, no men, they don’t have anything to do with Marine Corps — that was why we hired them.

    Damaged motorcycle in transit

I contracted by Marine Corps Movers of Tampa Fl. Via uShip to maneuver 1 bicycle, 1 32″ TV, along with asst. boxes. I checked out Marine Corps Movers profile and they said the transported $10,000.00 of the insurance. I get a call from the owner of Marine Corps Movers before the coming in NJ. He informed me there’d been a small injury that the bicycle dropped in the vehicle. He’s $200.00 for the compensation that he states is a busted kickstand and a broken windscreen. I tell him I shall inspect the bike once it arrives until I shall accept his deal. Upon arrival the bicycle had considerably more significant harm. I advised Mr. Hill the proprietor, which I would be carrying the bicycle to a repair shop to get a quote to the damage. The quote was for $2900.00. Considering that the bicycle had any prior damage I snapped each of the repair price that his driver had not completed and delivered him a quote. He also showed him both the first quote and corrected quote of $2400.00. I asked because of his insurance policy info and he disregarded my request (since he lied about getting insurance). He provided $300.00 to repay the situation. I’ve got a bill of lading signed with his driver that says the damages done on the bike. I’ve got images before and following these harms to the bike. He will not pay for the damages since he had no insurancecoverage. He misrepresented himself on his profiles that direct me to enter into a contract with Marine Corps Movers.

I just read about this scam artist whilst sitting at the airport USO in my approach to Afghanistan. How dare this guy use that which we do to earn a buck from patriotic folks giving work to vets? It’s so disgusting and everybody has to know? If he enjoys valor, what will not he slip?

JOHN BOSTON HILL has a lengthy line of criminal history dating back to his high school years out of back in Ohio. He’s not a person to be reliable. He’s ever been a”smooth talker”. His criminal record is very lengthy and such as medication.
