    Long-distance move from Washington
    Similar experience to other reviewers

Much like previous reviewers.  Salesperson was super fine and the price was fantastic.  But when they sent my possessions, abruptly I owed them nearly double what had been quoted. Driver was antagonistic and scary.  As with other reviewers, not only did I need to pay the additional $ BEFORE ddriver would unpack, but I needed to sign a paper stating, essentially, that the transfer and my possessions were all completed satisfactorily and I had  inspected the truck and also not one of my things were left at the truck.  And I had been made to sign this BEFORE the motorist would begin unloading.
Worst part was motorist hoping to extort even more money following the unloading was completed.
Same as different posters, things missing from stock, was billed for a cage along with two big image boxes and none of all those things were sent.  Squooshed boxes.
The movers/drivers are aggressively attempting to tear off the customers.  Not sure whose fault this is tho — LV contracts outside the transfer itself, so I am not even sure it was LV workers who picked up and sent my belongings.
Submitted a promise, waiting to find out what happens next.

    Careless, negligent, near extortion

My spouse and I contracted with LV Transferring to deliver our products out of American Canyon, CA, to Fort Collins, CO.. We’d utilized LV Moving previously and had a fantastic experience. When I originally spoke with Mike in LV, I advised him that I had been beginning a new job on June 8 and also that I would not be available to take delivery on such date. They picked up the merchandise on Sunday, May 31. The shipping date kept shifting from Friday morning, to Friday night, to Saturday afternoon, etc.

Eventually, Sergio, the driver, came at approximately 5:15 pm Sunday, June 7. He said he was unsure whether he can get his semi to the parking lot of their apartment complex. I noted that on the preceding afternoon, Saturday, June 6, a full scale crane onto a 53′ trailer was at the specific same place to support a wireless tower. Should you would like to verify this, my landlords (who approved the tower function ) and probably 100 other occupants can affirm its existence. Sergio made several efforts but reasoned that he could not get the semi to the parking lot. I’ll add here that another day (June 9), a 53′ trailer was at the specific same place. Again, this may be confirmed.

When Sergio wasn’t able to bring the semi to the lot, I had been told that my choices were to lease a U-Haul myself, or let him do it, and then cover the shuttle charge. With this time of day, U-Haul was shut. Sergio known as the LV workplace (I am not sure who). Whoever he talked with stated that it would need for a long haul, and I would need to pay an additional $250, or I wouldn’t receive my merchandise. I think that this was basically extortion. They knew I could not be available the morning after, so my choices were cover $250 in money or potentially wait months for my own possessions.

Complicating the problem of the long-carry was that Sergio stated that somebody has to be at the truck along with somebody else in the flat, because the valuables could not be left unattended in the truck. The end result was that I needed to go back and forth with Sergio and John (his helper to get the transfer ). When Sergio initially started the truck, I was appalled to find that items labelled”delicate” and”this side up” were lying on their sides and with heaps of book boxes in addition to those. This sounds to me the equal of the supermarket putting jars and 2 liter bottles in addition to a loaf of bread and eggs. Furthermore, a few objects, including a lamp, had no wrap or security in any way. Unsurprisingly, that lamp has been destroyed. I realize that products can be ruined in the rigors of transport, but the piling and absence of security have been utter carelessness. My spouse works in the petroleum business and a few of the boxes we employed were the industrial power type which are triple-layered. Even a number of those boxes had big gashes during them. I’d take the concept of overall liability if this was not such a situation of gross neglect and incompetence. I should not need to tell a inspector do not place heavy items on top of delicate items and that if a box states”this side up”, that side must face up.

Ultimately, a number of items were missing completely in the delivery. Our vacuum, our hands truck (that I need to add I spoke on the telephone with you along with my spouse highlighted to the movers in Western Canyon was ours and we anticipated it back), and also 2 boxes stay missing. We delivered multiple e-mails to LV to start the liability claim procedure but got no reply till we filed a federal complaint and BBB complaint. Use them at your own peril.

BAD EXPEIRNCE. WOUND NOT RECOMMNED IT

My expertise has been SO BAD. Had to cover additional on the day of pickup and also on the day of shipping ( I’m taking countless dollars ). They didn’t send on the requested date and needed 1 week delay together. They would like you to be in their period. I had been made to pick up their driver at my private automobile at 11 pm and I didn’t even deliver on this night. They compelled me to leave perform next evening to come home with quite brief notice and when I do not appear or trace their brief note time/date then I must pay good of 85 $ each hour ( Sure I was not told about some nice before the time). Very bad telling and they’ll take any chance to raise your rate. They do not care about your own sleep or work. I have called one time at midnight by their dispatcher. They didn’t manage my furniture correctly and I had badly damaged furniture. They called me to their own claim department that takes 120 days to secure you a choice. They’re fine people when you speak to them but really bad to acquire job done never get done correctly.

    Lost and damaged items

BEWARE  OF LV MOVING My expertise with LV Transferring was THE  WORST.  After the pickup was created, all products were numbered and were to be matched upon delivery.    This didn’t occur.   In the destination, the driver demanded payment in money and had me sign the records Before removing any items in the truck.     Before pickup I had been confident that my move could be direct rather than unloaded and reloaded.   I understand that this wasn’t true, since in the center of the unload,  bedroom furniture has been brought in that was not mine.   I alerted the motorists and these products were put back to the truck.   If my furnishings weren’t unloaded, how can somebody else’s things be blended with mine, particularly in the center of the load.    This would also clarify my lost boxes.  The movers ruined some of my furniture and also that which was to be assembled wasn’t done correctly.    This was a mess. The very worst are the lost boxes which have yet to be found that comprised IRREPLACEABLE  products.    It is just heartbreaking to understand that this has occurred.    They’re refusing to take some responsibility for the lost boxes as it wasn’t reported from the first shipping.   The motorists were in a rush and refused to account for all of the things on the listing. The settlement that they are offering won’t even cover the price for somebody to visit my home to access all of the damages.   The refusal for any reimbursement of the missing things is unacceptable. I AM LIVID WITH THIS COMPANY…

This organization is fantastic! I called these three times before his move and they could accommodate our requirements and occasions without hesitation.Mike along with his team showed up in their guaranteed period, packed us up and transferred our things. Then they phoned to affirm that the move-in date and so were there sooner than expected. The whole team was humorous, friendly and quick. I suggest using them for almost any movement you’ve got coming up!

Very Satisfied! Great Job LV Moving!

I am a handicapped guy having lost 1 hands at the army. Therefore, while I really do like to Keep busy and I still do things and welding, even in my age as a grownup, but I Couldn’t Start to perform so movement without specialist assistance.    LV Transferring was the firm which I chose, after careful evaluation, had the best reviews and these online. I spoke with their salesman and he had been really informative. I knew that I’d made the Correct Option.   As it came time to move, they came on time for your own pickup and the cost remained fixed. They took good care to secure my items and they worked hard and as a group. In the shipping still no hidden charges or surprises. Except for the greatest surprise in any way. … some other firms attempted to bash these men to receive my own organization, but they all promised were nothing but lies! LV Moving did not increase the Purchase Price and they did not mess all of my items.    There were several scratches at a wall socket, but it was a tight place and I’d have ripped half down the wall if I were to attempt moving myself.   Overall – that they did a stellar job and I will be telling my pals! Thank you for all guys!!

    Excellent Company

LV Moving is your best moving company I’ve ever used and I’ve moved 30 days in my entire life!  I understand that however great a company is or how hard they attempt to fulfill their clients, we’re all human and you can’t please everybody.  Additionally, there are individuals that are only unhappy all of the time and they would like to create everybody else about them just as gloomy.
That having been said, each mover which I researched had a few terrible reviews and LV Transferring isn’t any exception.  However… once I believed the testimonials, I also looked at other matters about the firms like what’s recorded on the actual place to listen to… www.ProtectYourMove.gov and about this administration tracked site, in which the true story on a moving firm is composed by men and women that aren’t ranting, gloomy or absurd.
In cases like this, LV Transferring stands head and shoulders above their competition. PLUS-they possess an”A” score over the BBB they didn’t cover and they’re rated 13th in the country for long distance moving companies.
So, I phoned them and their folks were quite knowledgeable and useful. They explained all of the things I could expect from them and what things to look out for with different businesses.
They had been correct about the different firms… most firms I talked to asked which businesses I had been getting estimates out of and when I said LV Transferring there was lots of mud slinging… that’s the principal reason that LV Moving made my company… they were the sole firm that refused to talk poorly of some additional movers.
I’m 50 years old, I have a very bad back and even though my transfer was just a couple of hundred kilometers and I’d have saved roughly $100 by renting a UHaul and transferring myself, so I physically cannot do that type of labour anymore. LV Moving stepped around the plate and then knocked the ball out of the park!!
Thank you LV Transferring for standing up to the bad press from those who must not have the ability to post their bogus rantings. It had been clear to me once I contrasted the exceptional level of support I received into some bad reviews I found on the internet – which LV Moving might have had a couple of problems arrise during the past calendar year, however there isn’t any WAY I could believe they’ve ever been as poor as many have claimed.
For my money, I will ALWAYS work with and advocate LV Moving over the rest of the movers. You’ll be creating a very smart choice to telephone LV Moving!!

    Horrible company

I had a dreadful experience with LVMOVING from Las Vegas. They had been great if lending me a quotation but when they got my cash the salesman entirely forgot about me personally.  They simply sent two men to pack my whole home. They started out packaging everything carefully and finished by simply throwing objects in boxes without a packing material whatsoever. Nearly every bit of furniture has been ruined. My sofa was ripped, and a mattress was pried apart and damaged badly. A ceramic doll was simply thrown into a box and has been smashed.  I paid for a private truck and didn’t get you. They shot my possessions from AZ into Utah to package a different job. I’ve tried to contact them about my complaints and have obtained no reply. Stay away from LVMOVING CO.
