After talking to many moving companies and receiving quotes, we chose to employ Long Island Moving & Storage, Inc., to our relocation by Garden City, NY to Philadelphia, PA.. Their professionalism and agreeable demeanor that was helpful, in addition to the shifting quotation supplied (that was quite aggressive ) helped create our selection simple. In the very first conversation with the estimator, to this previous bit of furniture introduced in to our new house and setup and placed from the real moving staff , our experience with this firm was wonderful! The moving team headed by Anthony(the foreman) were right on time as promised, they managed all of our delicate expensive possessions and furniture using”kid gloves”, quilt-pad blanket wrap every bit. They crated all vulnerable glass like mirrors and table tops for a little additional charge, also drove to PA the very following day as promised, delivering our dispatch at a really secure and timely way! At June of 2019, I contacted Rob in Long Island Moving and Storage and explained that we’d be shifting our 1 bedroom flat into our new apartment a few miles off. I gave a comprehensive explanation of the chambers which would be transferred. I had been quoted $625 and advised that the whole movement could be completed with two guys in 4 hours (and one hour of traveling time.) The day of the transfer, the movers have been a few hours late.
After moving our king-size mattress, then they chose to fold it, and then wrap it. We immediately intervened and requested them to unfold it so that it wouldn’t get ruined. It did get hurt nonetheless, and manages on each side of the mattress have been ripped away. We were informed we can put into a claim.
The transfer took more than eight hours with travel time, rather than the four lent to us, and therefore cost significantly more. Our $625 quote became $1,081 and we all had been needed to cover them in money.
The day following the movement we noticed that the bottom plate of the coffee table was deciphered.
We contacted the firm and Rob told me that someone called Diane, who operates in the claim section, would phone us soon. Weeks went by; we followed up several occasions, and Diane never predicted. (It’s now been weeks since the transfer and Diane has still not called.) We followed up again and we had been advised to devote a claim on their site. The claim form required notarization, but if we called to inquire how they’d want us to notarize an internet form we were again told that we’d be given a follow-up telephone call. Weeks went by and we were not called. We called again, talked to Rob’s dad and we were advised to publish a replica, notarize it, and resubmit the whole claim on the web. We immediately did so and resubmitted the promise. Again, more weeks went by and nobody followed up. We chose to follow up along with Rob and his father, presumably the owner of the company assured us they’d look to it and return our phone. We had been guaranteed a return call within a day. Unfortunately this never occurred.

It’s now been over 5 weeks since the transfer and nobody has called us back, or settled our promise because of our harm. We’ve contacted this business at a minimum of 15 occasions and have been discounted. We even put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they will not respond to this either. They do not care for you, your possessions, or their standing.
