    They'll change your story

I understood that a lot of individuals have distinct transfer stories and none is just one of those dreadful kinds of unsuccessful relocations. That does not need to be the situation when shifting another moment. Long Distance Relocation Services find delight in creating relocations more effective and ideal and certainly will do the exact same for you. If yours turned into a narrative full of false promises and too little diligence, then you’d locate the inverse out of the mover. I used them last week when going into my new residence in Omaha, and I also experienced a scene. You merely need to provide a shot at them.

    Fantastic Relocation

My buddy was shifting and asked for my help in creating the move effective. He hired Long Distance Relocation Services that did not appear to want any help. They worked using a coordination that assured that they were anyplace they had been needed to be. I discovered their company and the fact that they took some time under account. It had been an extraordinary move I would like to occur for me when I’m moving.

    Flawless move

Transferring a 4-bedroom home from TN to FL isn’t a joke. Having moved long distance earlier, we knew we needed to find a trusted business. Long Distance Relocation Services looked like an ideal decision on paper… and was even better in fact! They did a superb job of what right from the minute they gave us their evaluations on the length of time it would take to if they delivered the last piece sound and safe on time in the end.

This is our first time with Long Distance Relocation Services however, it surely will not be our last.

Went out of their way to help

Moved household of five from Indiana to California.

We began calling and investigating moving businesses weeks before our move. Long Distance Relocation Services was on our radar by the beginning because the professionalism in the customer support men was a mark over most of the others from our very first conversation. The moving team really turned up prior to the stated time and even assisted us perform the last preps and gave us some very practical suggestions for the best way best to do things faster and safer for next time. We had selected to pack ourselves and only pay for proceeding but they moved out of the way to test that our stuff was protected, which was an extremely wonderful gesture. A fantastic group in the top to bottom!

    Feeling Happier

I can’t fail to say just how pleased I am with this move staff. When they transferred me last time, they did an extraordinary job. They’re self-driven. Under minimum supervision, they could move me the specific way I desired. The providers were so trendy. I truly enjoy their support and concern.

No job too big and no detail too small

A 5-bedroom home move may be quite a nightmare — so lots of matters, so little time and so much that could fail. We’re so happy that we chose to proceed with Extended Distance Relocation Services — they left the entire thing a cinch. By the time that the revenue manager got in contact us with all the details into the packaging into the pickup to the shipping into the last unloading, we didn’t face one hiccup — it is almost a wonder! Do not need to get it done again, but when we did, we’d select Long Distance Relocation Services in a pulse!

Hands down, the best moving company

I’ve the kind of task which keeps me moving between nations each couple of years. Over the last two decades, I’ve moved interstate more occasions than I recall. I’ve almost never utilized the exact same moving business double. Long Distance Relocation Services has altered that — their professionalism, maintenance, security standards and general outstanding service don’t have any equivalent so far as I’m concerned. Transferring a 1-bedroom flat is much more difficult than it seems but my movers, both Victor and Andrew, had all bases covered. Customer service was exceptional and always prepared to go the additional mile. I’ll be moving again within a year, and now I will certainly use Extended Distance Relocation Services back again.

Who’d have guessed out that the relocation services are that great? I only would like to tell the truth, once I sought the help of these movers, so I just expected moderate. For the time being, I am unable to complain. I trusted those movers to relocate me peacefully from Georgia to New Jersey, and they didn’t let me down. They assured the relocations were also timely. Most of all, I had all of my possessions handled with caution. I discovered them since they transferred my delicate vanity and the project was fantastic. The different elements of the relocations were similarly fantastic. Now, I’m settled peacefully at a 3-bedroom apartment. Should you will need a staff to carry you throughout the relocation, Long Distance Relocation Services is going to be this a wonderful option. Movers, Admin all very good!

I needed to write this review due to the great experience I have had with Extended Distance Relocation Services. I first contacted them about the telephone and talked with Stacey. She patiently described the moving procedure, the way the entire thing worked and in which the costs were, which required over one hour over 3 phone calls. Her authenticity is a significant part of why I picked extended Distance Relocation Services. The movers were equally as great – they understood their job inside out. In general, I’m quite pleased with my selection of moving business.

    These guys can handle anything!

As an artist, going for me is really tough because I’ve a good deal of sculptures which are delicate and all of my gear is oversize and should be handled very carefully. I turned into Long Distance Relocation Services as a colleague who’d used them lately gave me a superb recommendation.
The movers themselves, Nick and Andrew, must be commended. They listened to all of my principles and regulations patiently and did exactly as I asked. Not just one sculpture nor any gear had a scrape on it. Believe me, that is a wonder!

    Horrible experience!!! Total scam!

I doubt this will probably be submitted since they have deleted my testimonials on their website, and on Facebook. Beware this business is a scam you’ll lose tens of thousands, they’ll lie for you, ruin your stuff, not move your things in like they state. This is the most stressful encounter. I had been in tears with contractions at 6 weeks last night from all these [EDIT] did. They even tried getting in an altercation with my veteran husband after he advised them to do their jobs and prevent standing about doing nothing. 1 mover was puking and passing out when he got here. The motorist [EDIT] me and kept asking for water and food. One [EDIT] did the actual moving. But nothing was set in the chambers right, furniture ruined. We still have furniture blankets since they forgot knives to cut them off and have tired of doing this once I gave them my kitchen steak knives for heavens sake. Nothing was set back together!!! They even lost my sons hardware because of his bed so today no mattress for the 6 year old only a mattress on the ground!! I tried posting pictures but this inspection website is making even placing a review up hard!

    Job well done!

Following a dreadful experience moving a couple of years back (missing things, impolite movers, flaws ), I nearly attempted to do the entire thing myself. My sister convinced me to attempt Long Distance Relocation Services which has been the best advice ever.
The movers weren’t only punctual, attentive and considerate, they had been great enough to keep me updated of where they had been during the transit phase since they could tell I was anxious. I almost could not believe it if the entire thing was finished in time and nothing was damaged/lost.

    The best movers

I moved to New Jersey out of Maryland. 2-bedroom apartment.
I’ve moved many times within the last couple of years and I haven’t run into a business including Long Distance Relocation Services. Nobody could match them for absolute commitment to doing a fantastic job. The real movers were so amazing but I also need to mention Jay in their headquarters that helped make things run so easily. My stuff came on time, no scratches, no harm, no missing pieces, no missing things. This was my finest moving experience and I’ll utilize LDRS again when I must move again.

I wished to avoid using movers since I’ve had a dreadful experience before but proceeded with a colleague’s recommendation to utilize Long Distance Relocation Services. It ends up not all moving companies will be exactly the same since this movement went smoothly, nothing has been missing and there wasn’t any harm to my things or into my new residence. While the shifting team of Nick and Denis managed their end flawlessly, Amanda in the Long Distance Relocation Services office also did a fantastic job of organizing it all. Accommodating and genuinely nice people

Long Distance Relocation Services is among the very best moving companies should you read the testimonials… and in the event that you really try them out, too. I discovered this out after a little error on my part led to a more compact truck than would fit all of my stuff. The movers left do with all they might even though it required them extra time and I was able to squeeze the rest in my own vehicle. All of my things came without a scratch and I am quite happy with their professional and quick support. I had been moving my 3-bedroom home in Ohio into some 4-bedroom at Louisiana.

    Poor customer service

This business started off with great customer support. We also called and reserved our relocation early and since we predicted from the off year they gave us exactly the off year cost. They had been a lower estimate than many others and client service was agreeable so we reserved.

Legislation showed them up and they have been professional and easy to handle. However, this wasn’t without incident. We had been told that they would wrap massive things so we didn’t need to do this. They did but were were charged for packaging supplies they utilized. They utilized half and quarter traces of tape but customer support was still easy to address and refunded us once we told them how several rolls were hardly utilized. These first movers were very pleasant and took good care of these things.

Before shipping the motorist called us several occasions and requested us to get path info and vehicle regulations.

Important issues arrived at shipping. After the driver showed up he refused to even try and rear his tractor-trailer down on the private street to our house. We told him that others were transferred in by tractor-trailer, however he refused to test. Then he left if we had been on the phone with customer services. We’re then given three choices. 1-pay $850 (discount price) to get them move into a different truck, 2-we lease another truck and they’d transfer it into this truck but then NOT into home or 3-get a storage device and they’d transfer things into there. Like I said the motorist left with all of our things on the vehicle and didn’t inform us where he had been carrying them.

We tried to get customer support again following the transfer and they stated that the motorist is the only person who could determine whether the truck would make it because he had been the expert driver. The exact same one who asked us to get truck regulations and paths. We advised them that THREE distinct tractor trailers have sent for the specific place on THREE distinct events. Customer service refused to help on a small reimbursement for its storage device price and wouldn’t entertain any true proof of the capacity of the truck to create it.

Any moment a business only takes cash or cash orders, not even cashiers checks, so you ought to be suspicious. Pay more up front and utilize Mayflower, Allied, United.

    Costly and Stressful

Be warned. Do not allow the fantastic reviews deceive you. I remember that this corporation can sometimes do great company (my items did finally reach me and”largely” in 1 bit ) however their customer support fell apart after they obtained my deposit along with their quotation intended nothing in the long run. The man who I dealt with early in the procedure was wonderful. He made me feel as though I was not only a number and that I was planning to have a truly terrific experience. They gave me a fantastic price understanding full well that they would nickle and I to get things such as taping my boxes up although I volunteered to do this myself. Then they decided I’d 150 additional cubic feet of material than I had been quoted (I possibly had 75 additional cubic feet but I believe this was an exaggeration) costing me ~600 bucks extra in addition to my quoted cost. Additionally they conveniently failed to inform me that I had been way over before the truck had been packed and secured up. I swallowed that missing and chose to proceed with my life rather than stressing about it. As soon as I arrived in my new residence, never got any updates in the moving team, I phoned to confirm they were still on time. My items had not left the warehouse. They were planning to be a few days late with no apology, only a”sir that date had been only an estimate.” Again I did my very best to ignore the problem and proceeded. When they eventually got to my location, they couldn’t obtain the semi close enough and informed me it’d be another day of waiting and 450 bucks to unload my items on a fresh smaller truck and transfer that truck in. I couldn’t wait any more and so I moved into a truck rental company, leased a truck, met the movers 20 minutes off, had them unload and load the new truck, and drove them back into my own location. They naturally determined I had two several measures for my flat and immediately charged me yet another 150 bucks for the staircase. In the long run I only paid them and got them from my hair. The final price of this move was upward of 800 bucks over the quotation, and enough strain which makes me never want to proceed again. Despite my new job area helping me cover the transfer, it ended up costing me much longer to go than it might have been than had I bought everything originally and purchased all fresh. Do not use this business. You might be fortunate and have a favorable experience but rest assured, there’s an opportunity you will have among the worst support experiences you might have.

I had been moving my company into New York and wished to make sure that we were on precisely the identical page with my own inspector. Reviews had revealed that Long Distance Relocation Services have been the Agency to deal with the transfer. So I got in contact with the manager and set out plans for a efficient business relocation. It was incredible how they had been so organized and made certain that all came.

    I cannot forget

I really don’t see myself denying the ideal move I’ve seen in years. Even better, the move occurred to me personally. It had been about the 18th of the month after I had the group from Long Distance Relocation Services over in my home to relocate me. Packing stuff did not take long, and you might see their company from the tagging. It required their coordination to spare time and produce the relocation effective as intended. In the conclusion of the afternoon, maybe not even a single thing was reported lost or damaged at all. And that made everybody in the home happy.

Everybody could do everything to prevent disappointment throughout their long distance move. Moving experience

These sales folks (Joy) are so pushy, and when you provide them a deposit that they have you. I kept telling her I’d over 500 sq feet, she kept saying, oh no. When they arrive, the driver claims it is greater than 500 sq feet, and it’ll cost an additional $1500 in addition to the 2500 I already owe, along with the motorist is all about the cash. Others stand around waiting for one to inform them exactly what things to do. They pick up my stuff around the 10th and pressure it that I want to get a storage device since they might deliver around the 15th. So, I rush about getting a storage device and they’ve taken my things for their own warehouse at Indiana and they do not deliver until the 30th. If they get near Stockton they phone my kid and inform them they will not send to the storage device we obtained, we have to find a different one in which their truck matches. So, now we’ve additional cost, and we must seek out another unit. The driver is so rude, he keeps repeating himself, finally I’m tired of speaking to him, I let him to phone my son. These folks are so rude, and as soon as they receive your money they’re even more impolite. I wouldn’t suggest them to anybody if you don’t enjoy spending money cause they’re great at that.

Great vibe, great people, great movers!

Good job done by a excellent group of individuals all of the way from your workplace to the movers themselves. No harm, lost things or inexplicable flaws. Long Distance Relocation Services also has a fantastic firm vibe where everybody is comfortable when interacting with customers but all company when there’s work to be accomplished. I’m recommending them to everybody I know since they deserve the compliments.

    Very good movers.

This is only one of those few reviews I’ve ever composed. I made the attempt for Long Distance Relocation Services since the standard of support which I received truly was a cut above anything I’ve experienced with different movers. The very first portion of determining the prices etc. were done together with the revenue manager, Joy. She created the process of choosing what I had a cinch. The movers I’d were Anthony and Curt, and they had been as good at their job because Joy was with hers. I’d describe them as considerate, attentive, quick and productive.

Would use again in a second.

I picked Long Distance Relocation Services since my parents had a fantastic experience with them a couple of months past transferring from Maryland to Texas. We had been making the exact same movement but to California and chose to proceed with their recommendation. Glad we did — Joy in the workplace gave us a great quote that was perhaps not the smallest but in hindsight had been worth every cent. A massive portion of this is since our movers — Jake and Anthony — did an great job. Careful, quick and wholesome provider, which left my stressful movement only that tiny bit simpler.

    Good work guys!

Living with my extended family, I had plenty of stuff to proceed. A number of those moving companies I approachedI asked me to sell some of my things to make it effortless to move. I would not do this. Fortunately, I stumbled to the site of Long distance transfer solutions and they stated they’d take the moving up challenge. I doubted them but it all took two weeks to proceed. I would not think my eyes. Great work guys!

Im no longer afraid of moving.

I’ve heard of stories of folks who lost half of the stuff throughout proceeding. In addition to moving prices, they wind up spending more to replace the broken and lost stuff. When my flip of proceeding arrived, I had been so fearful I shall be joining the long list of people who lose nearly half of the stuff throughout proceeding. However, this was not to be. My aunty, who’d lately transferred, advocated Long Distance Relocation Services. I was so frightened at first but I had to make a difficult choice. After everything was unpacked and organized, nothing has been broken or lost. I have never been more happy. This firm is the best there is actually moving.

    Cross country move

As a retired military family we have transferred up of 13 occasions. All military families can tell you horror stories about some of their moves. But nothing prepared me for the utter terror of Extended Distance Relo. Never have I seen such disregard and lack of regard for my possessions. Allowed we’ve got many antiques, plus they are very brittle, but if handled properly they may be transferred without damage. The list of missing and damaged things is much too long to include in this review. And of course that the hundred or so images I have taken of things which were packed with zero respect for their worth. Only a few examples: I’ve a secretary/desk that belonged to my great Grandfather. Not only was that the leg broken off, but there is a decorative bit (such as a spire) that sits on top of it, but that’s currently missing. And the secret to it’s missing too. That bit of furniture lived over 100 decades and numerous motions before Long Distance Relo got a grip of it. One of those side tables has been literally busted in half, and a person in Long Distance Relo attached two blocks of wood beneath it using screws. I suppose they thought I would not observe that they attempted to cover up the harm. Two of our kitchen boxes were chewed through by rodents (our furniture was at the warehouse for four weeks ). The boxes have been discharged and then reclosed to attempt and conceal the damage. I really could go on and on and on record the damaged things. My really pricey sewing machine/serger was put in a box upside down without a newspaper or bubble wrap. Yes, it is now broken. A bit literally broke off. In addition, we have several things missing. Funny that our Apple TV box did not make it through the transfer.
I can’t stress enough DO NOT expect your possessions to Long Distance Relocation Services Services.
Yet another thing, their initial quote for packaging, storing, and sending our items was $18,000. Ultimately we paid $25,000. Therefore don’t anticipate their quote either.

I can not even give 1 star! Signed contract for a transfer from California to Indiana for my handicapped mother 3 weeks ahead of… deposit given along with a warranty that the movers could have her items fulfilled no after the 5-2-2018…. Hours involving 11-4pm, NO CALL, NO SHOW! Every excuse on earth given, not realizing communication goes a very long way!!! Now I am told there’s no one out there, don’t have any answers and I have been forced to request my entire refund. I’m now needing to obtain another moving firm LAST MINUTE and in a rush! I wouldn’t recommend this business to anybody, there wonderful if it is time to accumulate deposit, communication and client service there afterwards is little to be wanted or proud of!

We needed to move at short notice and picked literally the very first movers we came across. Luckily, it had been Long Distance Relocation Services! Everything about this business is top notch, in the client support to their rate to their pricing. We’re very thankful that they were able to slot us in their program in the last minute and still pull off such a fantastic move. Positive Experience from a Good Company

Moves frighten me, particularly due to quite a few negative experiences I have had personally and also because of the horror stories which are constantly floating about. Through time, I have learnt to divide the great from the apparently good — Long Distance Relocation Services is unquestionably among the very best!
The pricing is fair, the employees are friendly (company manager Joy and movers, Nick and Jason), the packaging material is of superior quality and they keep to their own schedules. If more movers functioned like this, the sector would not have such a terrible reputation occasionally!

    No drama, just great service

Long Distance Relocation Services isn’t the most well-known participant in the industry but their support readily contrasts with the largest businesses. I’ve used more costly movers previously but the caliber of the work doesn’t fit the prices they charge. Long Distance Relocation Services has been able to obtain the ideal balance between both and that I really don’t think I will opt for new names anymore. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!

This was among the top rated traumatic experiences in my entire life going. I moved from California to Florida. Anything bad that may occur with a moving business occurred. These individuals quoted low at first, and rich my 5 bedroom home in two trucks. The 1st day I appeared in closets and they forgot to package a few dishes. They arrived at dusk and I needed to remain at my neighbors before 10 pm along with my toddler to never get at all. They came back on the next day, along with the truck pulled off without even adding anything into the stock. My spouse and I were so shocked. When they came in Florida they would not unload with no money. It wasn’t exactly the exact folks who fulfilled and they unloaded different people’s items, they broke so many of my furniture and things, along with a great deal of items were MISSING. They also ruined the walls at the new location. The individual in control I could hardly know and that I was so angry about my broken things after paying them $! 4K to maneuver!! I essentially paid them to transfer broken furniture, other boxes which belonged to somebody else, and have no thought to this day at which the 2nd load moved. They had no sympathy, apology or appeared to actually care. I had been in tears!! The employees were so horrified cussing and smoking beyond my home saying they simply answered an advertisement, in otherwords that they weren’t specialist movers. After the man in control left to secure more things, he did not inform them and the employees left behind presumed he pitched them without pay!! This is the very UNPROFESSIONAL expertise IN MY LIFE, which wasn’t the first time that I ever moved. Paula was the WORST. As soon as I predicted there was not any approach of caring about my own things. I delivered the claim type in and known as A MONTH afterwards if she obtained it, and she explained. I mentioned , it figures you misplaced it just like the rest of our things!! I pushed her to go hunt for this, then she returned to the phone and was like oh yeah we’ve got it. I asked for the boss, and that I was just like I’m the boss. I called dates back and has been placed on hold then chose to strike’1′ for earnings and BEHOLD a person replied. I told them my story and they appeared in the notes and said it was a HOT MESS. I had been placed on hold again and again then call finished. Someone from client support ultimately returned my phone to hear about what happened with my promises and lacking things, and that I only called back to inform me that they have 4 weeks to react back. I move, is that how much time it will have to react?? I eventually told my neighbor a lawyer who’ll write them a letter when I do not listen in 30 days. POINT: DO NOT GIVE THESE RIPOFF ARTISTS YOUR BUSINESS, THEY WILL WRECK YOUR STUFF AND NOT CARE!! They’ll set you away in the event you’ve got a problem following but pick up this telephone fast to receive your company!! Can NOT consider in their collections of promotion. Better to go with a respectable title inspector.

Move to Columbus, OH to Dallas, TX -- expensive mistake

NO, NO, NO ! Business appears to be super friendly and nice before you cover your deposit. It’s all downhill from there… The movement has been from Columbus, Ohio to Dallas, TX. Inform us a very low estimate to acquire company after moving over everything in house. The price offered to us really DOUBLED once they loaded the vehicle. We even got rid of a few things. It was 9:30 in the night and has been advised that when we predict office the following day, they’d provide us a reduction. WRONG. Paula AND Tina in client support are likely the most unpolished, innocent individuals I’ve ever encountered. They speak more than you, disrupt and don’t care what happens once they receive your possessions. They act as though they do you a favor by even talking to you personally and you may tell by discussions with them which they have these impolite discussions on a daily basis with potential clients. Tina really detained my husband of lying to me! They even threatened to not provide our material to 21 days at the same point. On a Friday afternoon I contacted them to find standing on the coming and that I could here everybody observing in the background to just how much $$$$ they created for weekly. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! They lie to you consistently on how they are going to phone you straight back and then never do. Our possessions arrived in Dallas just a day late but our TOOL BOX, BRAND NEW COFFEE MAKER AND ONE TELEVISION WERE TAKEN rather than made it into Dallas. The movers also scratched up a credenza from the hallway of their apartment building and refused it. This was captured on security video. We needed to phone and email that the company 4 times simply to find a claim form (that can be really a joke, anyway.) Moving is not easy, particularly state to say, do not make it simpler by utilizing this corporation. We’re still addressing the consequences.

    Highly Advise AGAINST...

The movers certainly held no respect for our possessions and that I believe this business is remarkably unethical. As I am confident that you understand, word of mouth promotion is a potent tool. Please don’t use this firm under almost any circumstance. I am aware there are a good deal of great reviews and a great BBB score, but I cannot stress enough that they don’t stand up to all those testimonials or the evaluation. I’m tired and don’t have any fight left in me after this ordeal. I really don’t need anyone else to have to experience this.

Below is an abbreviated version of a part of our expertise…
As if moving is not among the most stressful scenarios previously, my spouse is unpacking our things and finding lots of our items to not be in the state they were in when I packaged them and watched them securely on the truck in pickup. He’s discovering damaged box following ruined box with all broken material indoors. The absolute disrespect that these movers revealed us and our possessions is indeed sad and eccentric. Our expertise with Extended Distance Relocation Services has turned into a nightmare. Not only did I wind up needing to pay tens of thousands more than I had been initially quoted, but now how a lot more thousands am I going to need to invest to replace our broken products. I am rather disappointed. My criticism isn’t only with the state of these objects, but likewise the condescending way I had been talked to if I called to the workplace. While talking with a professional employee, I left a remark about not picking LDRS when I understood it would cost up to it ended up costing me personally and that I think the girl’s answer to this was,”When I had a nickel for each time a client stated that…” My question to this is, why is it that you have numerous clients who would need to make this announcement, should your sales folks were true in their estimates? I think that has been a bait and switch. The sales folks were eloquent talkers inquiring what they can do in order to get us into the cost that we were familiar with. Little did we all know, it would not matter the price they gave us, it could be forced up for at pick up when we had been glued to using their services. They’d already begun moving our belongings from the time that the driver gave me his own quotation (the one which virtually doubled in my first quotation ). When I called the office to question that the cost growth, they stated it was only a quote and maybe it doesn’t wind up being that much and that I signed the record and there was not much they can do in order to work together with me. Obviously I signed the record, they’d already begun loading my possessions onto the vehicle!
Now try putting them to react to some complaints. They already have our money, so why can they react to me personally to describe themselves?

I’m not able to proceed because I gather things, a number of which can be big and most of that are delicate and expensive. Great experience

Very pleased to make a review for Extended Distance Relocation Services following the fantastic experience we had utilizing them at our relocation lately. We had been going to Delaware from Maine with all the stuff gathered from dwelling in a 3-bedroom home over 12 years… that can be a great deal! The movers were very nice and understood exactly what they were doing. I am quite happy all of my delicate and expensive things were delivered without any harm. Better yet was the fact that we have a reduction in some time if we had been seeking to conserve — transferring cities entails a mountain of sudden expenses!

    Long-distance move from Baltimore, MD
Stay away from Long Distance Relocations Services!

We had a terrible experience with our transfer into Sacramento from Baltimore with Long Distance Relocation Services (LDRS). Stay off and find another mover! We did our due diligence researching moving companies, such as testimonials on My Moving Reviews, Yelp and House Advisor; searching at the FTC evaluations; and comparing mileage charges, packing charges, estimating stock etc.. We interviewed half a dozen businesses, including one which did an onsite walk through (that we think we ought to have chosen as their quote could have been nearest to real ). On Friday afternoon with LDRS, they almost instantly needed us to sign up paperwork agreeing to a 50% boost in transferring fees – tens of thousands of dollars over the agreed upon cost – putting us at a take-it-or-leave it scenario: consent to the extra fees or possess our carefully laid moving strategies entirely disrupted. Since I had to journey across the nation and begin a brand new job, I basically had no choice except to cover the tens of thousands extra LDRS required. It was a indication of what was to emerge.

The movement itself was rather chaotic and it was challenging to keep tabs on things. LDRS didn’t label the boxes or keep any type of stock about what had been inside, so we had been not able to reassess their job. We did locate cabinets which were unpacked, and they hastily packed up them. What we didn’t see is that they concealed our wrapped up Persian carpets in the cellar instead of loading them onto the toilet. Evidently, this had been done to conserve the burden, but these precious possessions were left to the East Coast and, not only did we don’t have any way for them to California, LDRS refused to offer reparation for the reduction.

But that’s just a part of the shifting horror narrative with LDRS. We’re disappointed but not surprised when LDRS told us that the truck with our products wouldn’t arrive before the very final day of their shipping window. We had been extremely dismayed if we obtained only partial dispatch on such date. Our contract provided to allow them to install both beds for us on arrival. But, there was not any way to tell what was in any specific box nor what was on the initial versus the missing cargo, so that they didn’t put up our beds. Additionally, we never obtained all of the bits to one of our beds. It was a high quality piece of furniture and it came broken, and we never did get the broken box spring which was a part of it, nor did LDRS take responsibility for the harm or the reduction. (How can a professional inspector”shed” a box spring?) Assurances that they”searched the warehouse” and lost things”ought to be on another truck” proved untrue. We put up our own beds after procuring a sheet of plywood to the broken mattress – in our own cost, obviously.

If only that were the ending of these issues. LDRS appeared to have chosen what they needed to sneak from one of our possessions, by way of instance, our brand-new printer/scanner for our home company; brand new iPod speaker and cans; artwork, yet another carpet, and much more. Many things were damaged and broken. I even gashed my hand on broken glass when hitting into unpack a box.

The worst wasn’t over. LDRS specializes in the many antagonistic, impolite, stonewalling, bothersome”customer service” experience ever. Paula specifically seems to pride himself in being the very unyielding, ridiculous, unfeeling gatekeeper within this world. It was not about searching a reasonable and honest settlement for LDRS, but instead about finding a means to”just say no.” This went on for almost a year, and when we had the time and money, we’d have hired a lawyer to take them on, but with only moving and beginning a new job with the energy and financial resources to get this done? Their business model depends on the truth that finally, after weeks of back-and-forth, the customer will be worn down and will settle for a different enormous LDRS take-it-or-leave-it deal because we did, after all our attempts to record and then negotiate hit the persistent LDRS brick wall. It was trying to the verge of tears, untrue and grossly unfair.

LDRS will”evaporate” your possessions without requiring any responsibility for the loss. They won’t care for you or your possessions, and whatever they split, steal or damage, you’ll fight long and hard to acquire pennies to the pound. Additionally, beware that in case you submit a claim and then discover another reduction, they’ll refuse to permit you to put in it even though they still haven’t compensated or even accepted the promise, and though it isn’t written on some of the paperwork nor orally communicated at any stage that this really is actually their hard-and-fast rule.
Moving is tough enough. Don’t do this to your self – go with a respectable company which specializes in moving families, and includes a long, positive history of standing by their own job. Neither of these things explain LDRS. They’re HORRIBLE.

Long Distance Relocation Services will be your very best balance of quality and cost that we’ve observed from the moving industry within our last few motions. They may not be the least expensive but you definitely get a distinctly greater standard of employees and assistance. We’d Nico’s staff as our movers plus they managed the entire movement with smooth performance and not one of those’we need to have a rest today’ crap I have had to place together with before. No problems, start to finish

I picked Long Distance Relocation Services after asking a couple of individuals for recommendations in accordance with their own private moving encounter. We had been moving our flat in Alabama into some 4-bedroom house in Texas and that there was great deal of things to take care of that may break or be ruined. I spent a while with Jordan in their workplace to receive every detail right, and also had a conversation together with our movers. In the long run, the movement went off without a hitch and it was good to see everybody dedicated to do it correctly. Recommended!

My girlfriend is the biggest fan of LDRS

After dating for a few decades, my girlfriend and I chose to live together. Because she lived in Illinois and that I in Virginia, I persuaded her to return to my location. But, there was a single barrier to our strategy; she wished to transfer all of her items to my location. She’d hear none of my own persuasion to sell her new things because I had all of us needed in my flat. An intimate friend urged Long Distance Relocation Services. These guys are experts and they left the motion really simple. My girlfriend never stops praising this organization.

    Long Distance relocation rip off

I contacted several businesses on a movement and the quotation was the very cost effective with Extended Distance Relocation Group. I choose to utilize these men but since they loaded my own products in there truck the increased the cost in my transfer, simply double the cost. As I’d already left the country I couldn’t get somebody else to go and they already packed my things into there toilet. I felt as though this is a bait and switch and my belongings has been hauled up for ransom. I won’t ever use these men for transferring anything. I will imply that you possess them provide you a real quote till they arrive because you never take care of whoever picks up your belongings or the person who drops off it. Buyer beware of that there shifty approaches and concessions. As well a they broke a few things throughout the transfer and all of them blame another movers. Long-distance move from New York, NY
    Remarkable

My mom was a civil servant for 35 decades and had dwelt in town for all those years. After she married, she could not wait to proceed into our rural house in Arizona. Being her only child, locating a great moving business was my job. I asked and looked about. Long Distance Relocation Services came up a whole lot more occasions than some other. I opted to settle with this particular firm. They did a recommendable project and got praise in my mom. Incidentally she’s mean with compliments but with this business she’s ever speaking how exactly they did it like experts.

I strongly caution you on using this company.

I’ve moved several times. Most motions were using the army. Four private moves have been with cross-country carriers utilizing this kind of service. So far I have not experienced a nightmare similar to this. The absence of ethics, calculated fraud, along with coercive dealings is unmatched in my own experience.
I had an easy move in the DC region to Sheridan, Wyoming. We called a couple locations and selected one at the center for price. We desired competitive but not choose the lowest priced. The initial quote to move a bike, bicycle, desk, there little seats, and 15 moderate or huge boxes was $2,550 using a deposit of $613. This left $1937 due.
It appears to be a joke; two Russians and also a Moldovan walk into a flat. Luckily my wife was a Russian speaker and knew what they were saying at the flat. The strain for time began when they came very late at the finished window. Getting late on the apartment complex in month’s end implies you’re linking up the pier to another mover. We scheduled an afternoon earlier months end if something when wrong. However, there wasn’t any opportunity to respond to this sort of delay along with the prices started climbing, the strain began, and we all could truly feel that the screwing start. With the majority of everything on the automobile, they begin talking cash. We’re very dedicated at this point and have no or few choices at there. Under duress, they’re driving costs, justifying gains, and forcing one to sign agreements that you won’t dispute the charges for your credit card. There’s clear pressure because you struggle back against absurd escalating fees.
We paid an upcharge for transferring the Harley Road King. It had been well known up front and I am convinced was made to compensate to your bulky product. I had been worried after seeing them try to maneuver the bicycle. I place it to the elevator for them since the idea of a clutch or impartial seemed evasive. They slipped, jimmied, and raised the bicycle to position. In the pier, they seemed to package it nicely and put it to some tall card plank wrap around the vulnerable sides. The boxes have been thrown to the truck in highest handlebar height, along with the square footage began to expand. I believed that they would roll and strap them at least higher than just three and a half to four feet however, they stated that they couldn’t due to the bicycle and insurance. This looked off to me and also an miracle if following lots will be handled exactly the identical manner for my bicycle.
We phoned the secretary who subsequently called the representative onsite. He said that the boxes were so enormous suggesting wardrobe dimensions. There was a great mixture of medium and large shelves or boxes. They were packed well separately however they weren’t well packaged in the vehicle. The secretary rigid armed us and did not even want to find photographs of sent good or even the packaging job. They desired even more but misplaced the cost (minimally) later we began speaking about the deficiency of strapping, piling up, and even complaints.
They explained that they would control the complete on shipping; I had been billed in complete in an afternoon or so. That cost was $2,962.00. Together with all the deposit, the amount was 3575.
Delivery on the opposite end was quite debatable. Following a month I called to confirm the status of my shipment. In the beginning it took inquiry at each turn, they push zero info. If I didn’t call, I’d not have any idea on when the shipment would arrive. The standing remained elusive for a few more weeks. The people were quite polite on the telephone once I called but completely oblivious. At one stage the scheduler/dispatcher was outside to get a wedding or family occasion. I’m not heartless however an organized company would most likely have some kind of redundancy. However , not a enormous problem except when you’ve got a lifetime, you rely on support suppliers to become timely and productive. Finally, I had been told that they would notify me of a shipping date. Over time and I was getting somewhat impatient. However, what do you do but wait patiently. The records said that the business would notify me 72 hours before delivery. By luck, I contacted the organization to get an upgrade. I had been told my merchandise were to a truck for shipping. OK, I suppose coordination and notice was from this question. I received the driver’s number and gave him a telephone. He explained he had been at the Nebraska and could arrive dawn of the following moment. I shifted my calendar to adapt the birth. The motorist also explained that he had a bike rather than way to put off it and that it was my own accountable to discover somewhere to acquire the Harley from the truck. Now I lost my mood and chewed him on a little. I named the company who stated they’d contact him; it wasn’t my issue. OK, I believed we had been monitoring. The following day came rather than motorist. He called him and it seemed that he could be postponed until the day. My afternoon has been wasted.
The truck came the following morning by 10. I changed my encounters for another into the day. Once more calls that the driver revealed several hours late. The driver finally came. He and his helper were becoming set up and I took photos of the merchandise stored neatly within a place roughly half the size of this region which the first truck required for storage. Well at least this class could package. I talked to the elderly gentlemen, such as the motorist before him, he had been Russian. His helper driver was also a hustler nevertheless hurt. He had been hoping to work but that I gave a hand to accelerate the unloading therefore I wouldn’t lose any longer daily. Subsequently it was time to float the bike. Again, we’ve got no method to get it from the trailer and I’m left looking to get a dock. Russian creativity led the motorist to indicate pirating a trailer putting at the lawn next door. It wasn’t mine however, the motorist pulled up into the trailer with the objective of pushing the bicycle onto trailer and transferring the ramp into the tail of trailer and then down it down. Though quite uneasy, I saw that the clock recognizing I want to have things going. I took a couple of pictures of this function. I viewed because the clutch and equipment system contested them. There were problems with me getting around the vehicle but they acquiesced once they guessed themselves incapable of producing the move. I had been relieved since they could hardly equilibrium it and their goal was to equilibrium and push on my Harley across a slender ramp. I snapped it off the vehicle and completed the trailer as fast as I can to prevent difficulties with the trailers proprietor.
I immediately moved to find the men on their way so that I could return to work. Although I coped with a lot of this transfer myself they motorist wasn’t too reluctant to request a suggestion, colorful.
I still do not know whether my great are in great form. Most stay in containers. I am able to say the experience so far hasn’t been too current. As a result of this, I strongly caution you about utilizing this corporation! I have photographs of the whole event, packaging, packaging, etc. . consideration.

    Hidden fees and "lost" items

This is our very first wed movement and we ought to have gone with a respectable firm. We had been very elastic and altered the pickup day to the business. They then attempted to arrive a day early, but I was not offered. The afternoon of people needed to beg them to record the things and to allow me to check marks on the boxes. They also refused to ship our mattress. As it reached the finish, our”binding” price was 1.5x the quote based on inferior quote in their dimensions as well as fishy reliance on the arrangement. When they moved to send, they strove to come back a day early, before we also had a secret. The team cried at both my spouse and I’m not being accessible when they had been. When I called customer support about each one of these problems, they have been beyond impolite. In addition, my triathlon bike was lost along with the mattress which I needed was was destroyed. Unlike reputable businesses, there were just two choices for insurance: 1) weight established two ) worth established, but rather than being a couple hundred, it had been a few thousand $$ extra for only in case. The entire price of our movement with everything lost and damaged has been twice our quote. We’re looking for a tight budget together with our first baby on the road – that was catastrophic for us.

    Very good team

Composing this review to convey my appreciation to the whole Long Distance Relocation Services staff from the movers into the office employees. From the very first moment we contacted them, they have been extremely valuable and very open regarding the pricing arrangement. There was not any funny business and arbitrary exemptions – at the ending, the quote given was place.
On the day itself, moving staff came on time and worked hard to complete the task as promised. Each of the items arrived safe and sound, and it is a significant item for a California into Oregon transfer of a 3-bedroom home. Excellent folks, very good firm.

    Moving is never easy.

Moving is not simple. Nobody becomes accustomed to it because the majority of the period it never goes away our way. It is not important that you’re moving a couple of things; it might go wrong really quickly and leave you counting reductions. I am glad I encounter Long Distance Relocation Services, making it piece-of-cake simple to proceed to Virginia. I adored their timeliness, their company and the way they listened to me personally. You’re the best moving staff ever!

Long Distance Relocation Services is your best moving company that my loved ones and I’ve had the opportunity to take care of. They came highly suggested by a few friends and now we’ve combined the fan club, also. Transparent in pricing, cautious with your things, punctual and polite – those men have it all covered. A particular reference to Joy and John who worked so hard with a lot of our thick stuff!
We had been going from MD to NY, 2-bedroom apartment.

    DO NOT USE these movers!

They’re rude, incompetent and will harm your things. The movers are not trained – they are all brand new and inexperienced. They ruined our new hardwood flooring and all our furniture has been seriously damaged.

We moved from LA to Texas – to start:
They lied and misrepresented the organization and stated that our items could be instantly sent to Texas. They actually were not – that they had been saved in LA..
    * It took weeks to receive our things.
    * After they were eventually delivered EVERYTHING was severely damaged.

PLEASE don’t use these movers. It is a dreadful waste of cash.

    Highly recommended

My job causes me to proceed more occasions than I care to recall, particularly because the movers are so consistently bad. This is my first time with Long Distance Relocation Services and it appears they are the only business that I’ll use again and also recommend to other people. In the moment I contacted them, they have been nothing but consummate professionals. I think Joy in their workplace would be the sales manager and she’s accountable for a whole lot of the success they’ve had. Leann and Brandy, also did a fantastic job.

    Value for Money

My wife and I transferred our own things the last time and determined never again! We picked Long Distance Relocation Services on a buddy’s recommendation. Glad to say that we had as good a moving encounter together as she’d.
The moving team came on time, they were considerate, and worked hard. There were no smoke breaks and excess napping and we were packed and prepared to go beforehand. Unloading and unpacking was equally as easy and easy. For the cost that we were awarded by sales supervisor, Joy, we believe this is the very best value for money moving business on the market.

I had a wonderful time utilizing Extended Distance Relocation Services – they’re a really pleasant and friendly group of men who know how to perform their job and get it done well. On top of that, there’s not any drama about what’s covered and what’s not since they make things clear right from the beginning. The charge goes to Joy, the revenue manager. Experts

We utilized Long Distance Relocation Services to maneuver our 2-bedroom apartment at Indiana into a 3-bedroom home in New Hampshire. First, the degree of experience is exceptional. Our previous drive was quite tight however, the movers, Travis, Jonny and Alex, was able to manage a great deal of oversized items with amazing ability so nothing has been ruined. Second, they’re more reasonably priced than a lot of the other firms while providing a greater degree of support, such as punctuality and politeness. We didn’t find anything that could dissuade us from using these again.

    Belongings not delivered

My Belongings won’t be delivered with the date time period which was given in the written contract. The movers have stated that they all need to do is compensate me $30 per day for every single day.

A number of the customer support and sales folks who I talked with at the practice of attempting to solve this advised me that it’s ordinary for one-bedroom apartment motions to be sent beyond the guaranteed period.

The moment I had a physical speech, I supplied it to the movers. Then they explained that they had a whole 17 business days to send my things from this date. While I was not really pleased to hear that, I knew that it is contractually binding since it had been at the fine print which I signed. After waiting patiently, I learned out of them and discovered that they won’t even be placing my things on the truck before the week of the initially promised delivery. Because this is a cross platform movement, this usually means that I won’t have my things for probably 5 to 6 weeks beyond the guaranteed original dates. The problem with this now is I need to travel for work and I have been attempting to structure my program around the delivery of my things. I’ve made a lot of attempts to call customer support to try to schedule my work around the shipping, and I have been advised that they would phone me back the following day, however they do not. Now that my things will be sent beyond the promised window, I will not be able to be here when it functions for the business. They’ve told me that they would attempt to provide me a 24 hour window of heads up until they arrive, but it doesn’t let me do anything except be here waiting for my things.

This firm has in each way taken complete advantage of their maximum allowable shipping window. I need to travel today and I really don’t understand how they will handle having to save my possessions for additional days. I’m working with their customer support manager, who’s attempting to help solve this, but sadly, I still do not own a shipping date, And I’ve both family and business travel intended.

I would never recommend this firm to get a cross-country movement. The only positive thing I could say is that the selection up happened on time and moved easily. The delivery was a nightmare.

    Good for long-distance moves

This is my initial long-distance movement and that I needed to do a great deal of investigating to be certain that I got the correct people for your job. The company director for Extended Distance Relocation Services, Anthony is why I chose to work with them. He was able to describe all of the complex choices and pricing for me in a means that was fair (unlike a few other companies who looked to attempting to confuse me so they could bill me longer ). The day of the transfer , the movers did a wonderful job too.

What I understand today of the company, I wouldn’t ever use this firm. Do your study nevertheless AVOID this company. They aren’t even licensed by BBB. This is the worst experience we’ve ever had with any company and customer support is at least as bad. I am not even sure how they have the ability to keep their practice due to the fraud and dishonesty of their small business. They lack a hint of ethics. We were sold $6400 and compensated over 12K. PROFESSIONAL EXTORTIONISTS! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

This will be a very long review due to the lengths that this firm went to so as to extort money out of me under great duress. First of all, I’d recommend you to seek out another business instantly. Long Distance Relocation Services (hereinafter”LDRS”) has customer service agents that are extremely convincing. My dad used to tell me this a dumb man goes through life making mistakes, never gaining any understanding out of it; a wise man goes through life, makes a mistake and gains valuable knowledge in order that they don’t make that error again; along with a smart individual learns from the mistakes of other people. Please make wise if you’re thinking about the use of the provider.

First, please be aware that the”five star ratings” recorded above are repetitions. Examine the avatar images for those leaving comments. Many have left at least two evaluations and they’re the exact same individual (just examine the pics near the title ). The evaluation is inflated. Trust me. I found out the hard way.

I researched the charge to transfer myself through self-move firms (cost of this truck, price to trailer my automobile, price to get movers load and unload the vehicle ) and that I had been looking at roughly $2,500.00 for your transfer. Additionally, I’d have the extra strain of forcing myself, my 2 dogs and my trailered automobile ten hours into my new residence. Stressful, yes. But, it was possible.

On July 3, 2018, I had been contacted by”Angelo” using LDRS to get a quote in my transfer from Indiana to Virginia. I was supplied a quotation for $4,580.00. But since he knew that I had been on a budget, he had been planning to give me a discount on the Tariff percentage”to help out me.” The quote he supplied to me, after moving through a listing of furnishings I had, was $3,426.00. It had been $1,000.00 over the DIY route. But he promised me all my possessions would be wrapped, well cared for, LDRS wasn’t a brokerage firm that could hand off my possessions to another company, they had been rated as a”Elite Member” with the Better Business Bureau, and it would relieve the strain and worry of needing to preview my vehicle, move, drive, and also cope with puppies. For $1,000.00, I believed what my time was worth, the strain of this traveling, I investigated the BBB website he provide to me (imitation ) etc., also determined I’d move with LDRS. With this date, I supplied a deposit of $1,269.00; making a balance of $2,157.00. It was clarified that one-half of this equilibrium was due at pickup and the rest of the balance was due at drop off.

    The quote says:

THIS IS A BINDING-NOT-TO-EXCEED ESTIMATE BASED ON CUBIC FT. OR WEIGHT. IF THE LOAD CUBIC FT/WEIGHT IS HIGHER THEN THE ESTIMATE, THE CUSTOMER SHALL PAY THE Exact Same RATE FOR TRANSPORTATION PER CUBIC FT/LB AGREED UPON AT BOOKING. IF THE LOAD CUBIC FT/WEIGHT. IS LESS YOU WILL Get a CREDIT OF THE DIFFERENCE. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS IS CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO NOTIFY THE COMPANY OF ANY CHANGES TO THE ESTIMATE. IF YOUR MOVING DATES ARE BETWEEN 25TH AND THE 5TH OF THE MONTH PEAK SEASONAL RATES MAY APPLY.

In reading this, you’d think that the quotation was binding. You’d be wrong.

On July 13, 2018, I got a call in”Quality Assurance” to discuss my list of land again. Depending upon the dialogue with all the QA agent, I had been sent another quotation, which raised my transfer to $5,171.00 with and extra deposit of $348.00 due instantly to reserve the truck. When I asked about the quotation grow, I had been told it had been better to overestimate since I could rely on cash back from the firm if I did not use all of the space. When I asked her how I’d know what distance I utilized, the QA rep suggested it will be”clearly indicated” about the truck so there wasn’t any question regarding the cubic feet my house used.

Now, I’d severe alarm bells going off. I was provided a first quote and today, it had been changed. I must have listened to my inner voice and pulled from this offer. But since my move has been scheduled for less than seven times outside, if I’d cancelled at the moment, I was advised I wouldn’t receive my deposit back. I had no option but to move. My quotation (using a courtesy reduction ) was for $4,098.00 and I’d paid a deposit so far $1,617.00; leaving me a balance of $2,481.00 (half due at pickup; half due in fall off).

I had been informed my scheduled pickup could be July 19, 2018 between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.. The truck didn’t arrive before 2:00 p.m.. When the movers arrived in, I was greeted with”George,” who had been going to cover the contract together in detail and also receive additional information from me. He asked me to reveal what was being transferred. I took him space by room and pointed out what that needed to be transferred (mostly furniture) and that I advised him that the boxes I’d packed would wait if necessary. He explained to me that when I surpassed the cubic feet at the quotation, they’d need to charge me more for the distance. I really clearly told me that I didn’t wish to transcend the quoted distance since I couldn’t afford a greater move price. I taught him to load all of the huge furniture on the truck initially and that the boxes must move on last.

He and his spouse (it was a two man team ) started taking out my bigger furniture. Some boxes were removed to”make space to wrap my furniture” therefore it wasn’t damaged during the transfer. The quotation lets you know that furniture pads are all contained. But it doesn’t tell you clearly that when the movers use tape to fasten the pad, they charge you $4.00 per roll to do this…and they use lots of tape. Moreover, you’ll be billed for labour costs while they’re wrap your furniture at”free” padding.

I had been unaware that the movers were carrying all of my huge furniture outside into the driveway rather than loading it on the truck. I had been inside, completing the boxes which were coming with me individually like I would be with my possessions for as much as ten times. After a hour or so, I went outside to have a look at the truck and also that which was inside. Imagine my surprise once I walked out and watched all of my big furniture wrapped and wrapped in my driveway. When I inquired where all of the boxes had gone, I had been advised that they were loaded onto the truck already. I was subsequently told by George, that all of my furniture at the driveway wouldn’t fit inside the quoted cubic feet since the boxes had already taken up over 400 cubic feet of space from the truck. He advised me that I had a choice to make. He could shoot a few of my larger things and fill it into the fit 773 cubic feet. Or, I could enter into a different arrangement for 1100 cubic feet of space, that could accommodate all of my furnishings and boxes, but it would be much more. Then he sat on the rear of the truck and explained:”I will provide you a few minutes to speak. You’ve got a choice to make.”

As I walked past all of my big furniture, I understood there wasn’t any way to find that much furniture in the rear of my truck my boyfriend had brought to assist with the transfer. I was mad. I called the Customer Service lineup of LDRS and that I talked with”Michael” since Angelo was inaccessible. I advised him of this circumstance and that I believed I had been extorted. I’d taught the movers NOT to set the boxes on until the finish since I wanted my big furniture transferred. Michael told me that he was planning to find out what was happening and put me on hold. During my grip, I had been disconnected. Try as I could, I couldn’t find a live human being back to the telephone to talk about this with me personally. I left a couple urgent messages to please have somebody call me instantly. No telephone calls were returned to me personally.

After about five minutes, George sauntered back to my house and advised me that he couldn’t remain all evening. He had a determination from me. I requested him to remove the boxes out of the truck and place my furniture on as previously discussed. He refused to do so. He said that he had been”paid to place items in the truck except to take off them will be an additional job you’ll need to pay me for.” Then he produced a different contract to the 1100 cubic feet of space on the vehicle and said I had to make a determination. He might take a few of my possessions and leave me to take care of the remainder (which they also wouldn’t go back indoors ). Or, I could enter into a contract for $5,610.00 to finish my move. Together with my deposit of $1,617.00 already paid, I’d have a balance of $4,000.00; $2,000.00 payable instantly and $2,000.00 payable upon delivery. The final price was over double what I had been initially quoted within my”binding quotation .”

Now , I had no other option but to agree with the greater price. I had been expected in Virginia to start a new project on July 25, 2018; I had no way to receive my big furniture into my new home without incurring massive costs; and I had no way to receive my home already loaded on the truck away. I truly felt as though I was being robbed in my own home. It was introduced as:”Pay additional or else…”

On the afternoon of July 21, 2018, I got a call from”Brandy” in customer support that had been returning my call about the move. I advised her from the situation and she said she’d take a look at the paperwork once she got it on Monday (my possessions were scheduled to be sent on Tuesday) to determine whether they couldn’t dismiss the last bill due. She supplied me with a direct phone number and email so that I did not need to undergo dispatch…neither of these work today.

Conveniently, on that exact same day at roughly 8:00 p.m. I received a call from George to let me know that they had been prepared to deliver my possessions the next morning and I would have to have money for your balance due or money orders in the United States Post Office. July 22, 2018 was a Sunday. I had no way to attend a bank or post office on Sunday. I inquired if the furniture may be sent on Monday to let me the capability to visit the bank. I was advised when I didn’t take the property on Sunday, I’d be billed for the hotel area and time of their employees needing to”stay overnight to accommodate my request,” and a $600.00 favorite delivery date fee. George said he’d accept money orders if they had been issued by Walmart and when I’d agree to accept send Sunday morning. I reluctantly consented.

My home was sent on July 22, 2018. When the movers came, it wasn’t at a LDRS truck. On the contrary, it had been a truck belonging to RUSS Express Company, bearing the USDOT# 2919710, which isn’t a registered car of LDRS per the US Department of Transportation. A entirely different team of movers were current and I found that”George,” that I’d spoken with the evening before wasn’t George. I showed him that the money orders and advised him that after my property was away from the truck, I’d give him the cash orders. This was denied. Until I given them the cash dictates, my property wasn’t coming from the truck. I offered to leave the cash orders at a neutral place where he can see them before my possessions were unloaded. This again was denied. With no other option, I gave him the cash orders and prayed my possessions were really in this truck.

The movers have to work and started earning my possessions. Unsurprisingly, the boxes arrived in first. Why? Since LDRS had my possessions taken into a warehouse, in which it had been staged, and reloaded on a broker’s truck for shipping…something Angelo stated they didn’t do.

My washer, dryer and fridge wouldn’t fit through the primary doorway of this house that I was renting and had to experience the garage. At this moment,”George/Not George” educated his employee, in Russian that the contract called for a”long haul charge of $75.00.” Unfortunately for him, I know Russian and informed him he’d NOT be charging me anything extra. I helped his inspector with earning the washer, dryer and fridge. I had been assisting his worker with the excursion throughout the garage and getting them set up. Furthermore, I was already overcharged and I’d no extra money or money orders to provide him. He backed down at the stage and agreed to not charge the extra $75.00.

At length, the movers fully destroyed my $1,500.00 dining room table along with my $250.00 entertainment centre at the transfer. While I say ruined, I mean that the wood was totally shattered and cannot be fixed.

In total, this movement cost me $5,600.00, which was $2,200.00 greater than I was originally quoted; and that I had more than $1,750.00 in furniture finished ruined (using a settlement price of .60 per pound…you likely to return weigh the dining table???) . LDRS gave me no option but to cover the extra monies or abandon my furniture behind and cover to move it afterwards. I’ve yet to hear back from Customer Service concerning the overcharging of the move or compensation for some of the harm for my furniture.

This provider quite just extorted me and they did it with precision. I intend to follow through with a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Please…don’t use the site that they provide you. Proceed to the BBB and also look them up yourself. Do research if you’re thinking about using this company. But, I’d recommend you to be that the smart man here…and learn from my error. This firm practices in legal extortion. Do not be a victim just like me. Walk away from the business as fast as possible.

CHECK THE ONE STAR REVIEWS - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

STOP! Do NOT seek the services of this provider! The 5 Star testimonials are all suspiciously similar (maybe paid/fake testimonials ). Read the 1 Star testimonials… pure nightmare tales. SAVE YOURSELF. A move is just one of the most stressful events in life, and Long Distance Relocation Services (LDRS) will require complete advantage of your vulnerability. LDRS will lie back to you personally along with their low estimate and then CHARGE you far more (Thomas Philbin lent me 4600 on 3/21/18, then 3 MONTHS LATER — only 3 DAYS prior to my transfer after I had no other alternative — Lissa predicted to”finalize” the transfer, signaling the price 27-28percent over the quotation, although Thomas explained, he’d much overestimated the price, and there will probably be a discount not a rise ). They’ll hold your possessions HOSTAGE, and package and repack your possessions until they are destroyed (they confessed that they left my possessions somewhere out Sacramento, and so were mixing them with different motions; its been 4 WEEKS along with my possessions are still lost ). They won’t DELIVER as promised (Thomas Philbin advised me it’d be 10-12 times from if they PICKED UP my possessions, and billed me to get STORAGE even though he knew they’d not send in that interval ). They utilize misinformation from the contract perplexing”shipping [timing ] frames,””delivery window,” and also”first available date for delivery.” Although I might have approved delivery in Miami that the following day, Thomas persuaded me to say a shipping date outside the 10-12 times, even just as a reasonable figure, then Paula has considering calculated that the shipping interval 17 business days from this date, that will be complete fraud. Their”customer support” will leave you on hold, overlook you calls, perhaps not phone you back, place you to hold 25+ minutes, shout at you, and also endanger you. Look out for Thomas Philbin, Lissa, Elizabeth (Liz), Leann, Brandy Jones, along with their manager Paula R. Thomas Philbin will attempt to seem as your very best buddy, but his sole occupation will be to reduce ball the quote, for you locked in with a deposit and then make everything seem simple and like it’ll not be a problem whatsoever. Afterward comes Elizabeth and Lissa who organize the movement, but their task is to get every way possible to sign up the transfer, disturbs you by asserting that”whatever glass is additional” which”you will need special packaging for it.” Read the testimonials, it occurs in each case in order that they understand their quotes are all lies. LDRS indicated the price they billed for my transfer up 28 percent. Several other movements listed on this site were marked up 50 percent or more. Regardless of my orders to place”finalizing the movement” in composing, Lissa intentionally prevented emailing with me since her job will be to strongarm you to paying more. She purposely did this 3 times prior to his move when I already had a final date, a trip and resort, friends coming to assist, and also no other option except to proceed with LDRS. This is a form of adhesion contract, and it’s illegal. The team chief to the movement had been Stanislav Khodkevich, a young Russian man who had been favorable, but was much too bleak. He fought, and was finally not able to park the moving truck properly on the loading dock in the San Francisco storage centre, also he had a tough time navigating the tight SF roads. The team was both a day late, and then arrived late to the next day, therefore it was a near catastrophe since they didn’t get into the storage center until almost 5pm and it shut at 6pm. We hurried to empty the device with the support of 3 buddies. Without the help of my team I’d have needed to delay final, change my trip, miss job, and attempt to organize still another evening for transferring. The team looked over functioned, and ill advised. The movers shattered the safety window in the entrance into my building, stated they would completely pay the expense of replacing the whole window, and then never followed up. After LDRS refused to cover, I needed to submit a police report, along with the construction mended the pub for about $468 (since the safety bars needed to be eliminated ), and then charged me. LDRS subsequently promised they could violate whatever they desired and that they weren’t responsible, however they weren’t able to point to any component of the contract which enabled them to violate my house or the land of another party and not be responsible. They still haven’t paid. Then comes the client support nightmare together with Leann, Brandy, and also their manager Paula R. Their aggression, heartless apathy, and openness to flat out lie for you within the occupation will probably astound you. They don’t care for you, your possessions, the things they promised, or how much it’s cost. They avoided my phone calls, place me to hold more often than once more than 20 minutes (trusting I’d give up), also said they’d phone me back but didn’t achieve that. Brandy is just one of the worst, as did what she could to stop speaking to me, once I did grab her on the phone she agreed with me personally a few days, but then changed her mind once the iron fisted Paula came back on her. Paula ended up crying at me and using pejorative language in an effort to frighten off me. I documented that our dialogue instantly then, requesting to be relegated to her managers but she didn’t.

LDRS asserts on its own recorded message which they have a A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) however that I have found no signs of the. I filed a BBB complaint, also LDRS reacted with lies which were easily disproved using the contract. I’ll Be filing claims using the U.S. Department of Transportation and also the State Attorney General’s Office in at least four countries.

    Hard workers

I’d moved abroad and left all of my things in storage. I utilized Long Distance Relocation Services to transfer it out of storage from Washington DC to my brand new 4-bedroom home in Ohio. Allow me to simply mention that they did such a fantastic job I have been singing their praises to almost every person that I know!
A good deal of the credit goes to the movers, Nick, Anthony and Jamal, however I’ll also say that their sales planner, Joy, did a fantastic job of providing me the quotation and scheduling everything for my advantage. I need these guys all of the success since they truly do work because of this.

This company is the worst I have dealt with in 6 different moves.

Do not even look at this provider. The five star evaluations need to be fake – that I can not think anyone would be pleased with their services. They didn’t come out and examine my possessions but estimated $5500 on the telephone dependent on the dimensions of my residence. This shifted to $11,000 once I gave them a more complete collection of things such as the specific amount of boxes of every dimension. Closing cost was $17,900 to get a 2200 square foot home and they didn’t packaging except a couple of pre-arranged items along with the glass out of tables.

I contracted with Long distance transfer services and compensated $17,900 to get a transfer from Sacramento to Albuquerque. They subcontracted to Long Distance Van Lines of Florida (according to my credit card statement). LDVL was beyond dreadful. I’ve moved 6 times in my adult lifetime and haven’t experienced anything remotely this awful. I had been guaranteed one truck so that our products wouldn’t enter storage or be moved. They showed up with two little trucks. Upon pickup, they gave me a statement of lading/itemization which was blank, and once I finally obtained a copy of the one they’d composed (in the conclusion of this unloading) it didn’t designate items. They simply wrote”box” as opposed to the things listed on the surface of the box. Other things were illegible. As an illustration of the caliber of the job, they packaged my delicate lamps (that I’d paid extra for) in a single enormous box and then put my really heavy vacuum cleaner at the top. In between pickup and shipping, the products were transferred at least one time and probably twice (the driver called storage). The last loading individuals paid no more attention to markings on the box and at least half of those boxes were upside down, regardless of big reddish”fragile” stickers on all sides which indicated which side upward. Additionally, the motorist was a rude, obnoxious bully and bullied me into signing the paperwork by stating the employees would complete up and do whatever that I requested. The employees appeared embarrassed. Rather, the driver pulled out instantly without giving me a checked off list of things or the opportunity to check at the truck. He did not put furniture in ordinary places and banged the wall up if they dropped a hefty dresser (It did not occur to them to simply take the drawers out to make it more manageable – that is exactly what we didn’t get it in the right space ). He refused to reassemble our armoire and our garage shelving, each of which the firm took aside. I’d hired Long Distance Relocation Services since they promised they were experts with fragile/valuable products. I then hired an expert to especially package my delicate antiques every item in another box with numerous layers of packaging and on occasion a double box with added packaging. Nevertheless they managed to violate several priceless antiques which were very well packaged. Additionally, they struck off the front legs off a classic bedside table along with several other big dings, dents and scratches on furniture. We now have lots of lost things but don’t have any clue what boxes are lost since they didn’t check off things as they unloaded. I made 6 calls and 4 mails to the firm with no return contact until a composed a bad review. Then someone called the following day and offered me $400 to eliminate the inadequate review. What a joke.

    Stick with them!

I suggest using Long Distance Relocation Services in line with the 2 experiences I’ve had using them myself. I didn’t leave a review after the first time since I believed all movers were as good. Within my next move, I went with a different firm that was more economical and it was be a tragedy of wasted time, broken/damaged furniture and also bothersome movers who simply did not care. I return to these guys now for my move out of Indiana to Minnesota and that which went as perfectly as the very first time I used them.
    I had been going a 2-bedroom apartment.

    Smooth

We needed a great moving experience with Extended Distance Relocation Services from begin to finish. They were also on time for the two pickup and delivery that helped us stay on program. It was a rather long move (California to North Carolina) therefore the punctuality was quite beneficial. When we saw our moving team, Jeremy and Steven and Tim at the office, it revealed that they were real professionals doing work they understood and knew, not only part-timers just throwing items in and out of a van. We’re extremely satisfied with the support we received and how easily it all went.

    Beware! Dishonest with the estimate!

BEWARE!!!! If I could give this business a 0 I’d. They did the old bait and switch. They gave me 1 estimate up front. Subsequently on going day, loaded 1 bath that left immediately to get a warehouse in Maryland then included a part of the 2nd truck. They then explained that I had been nearly at my cubic ft and that they had an extra $5000 to finish my move. Now a fantastic part of my things were in their way to Maryland and 1/2 my things were still in my property. Mind you…. I spent plenty of time affirming my things by emailing them a complete list in addition to talking with a”Quality Assurance” Rep who had been seeing photos of most of my things on the internet. How was my quote up to now away???? And….The Foreman did a stroll through in my home before loading the vehicle. Never once did he inform me that my quote was incorrect before this load. Fraud!!!
I needed to think of the cash to be able to receive my things back. I admit that I had some extra boxes but nothing which was worth an extra $5000. Complete rip-off! They then gave me a little quantity of money back but desired me in return to waive my rights to complain or do it. Are you kidding me! BEWARE of the firm! Employ a mover that’s more upfront and honest about the price of your transfer! Moving is quite stressful and there shouldn’t be any surprises.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH

We had such a horrible experience with this business that we contacted the BBB and filed a complaint. I copied and pasted on here the criticism I filed to the BBB. This is a replica of the criticism with their answers interjected occasionally. I then responded for their answers.

Consumer’s Original Complaint: On June 4th I called to get a quote for our transfer in North Carolina to Alabama. The agent asked me questions in respect to our possessions to which I replied. Additionally, I provided them with files from our final move 3 decades back. (Let me interject here that we got rid of a whole lot of things which were in that previous move) I obtained a quotation in composing June 6th to get 2319 cubic feet using a whole price tag of $12,383.35. The agent told us that the amount wouldn’t increase, just reduce if we ended up with significantly less cubic feet than the quote. If memory serves me right that has been said more than once- quote wouldn’t increase, only reduce.
LDRS Response to the above–“We never denying that we might have stated that”cost wouldn’t increase” but client isn’t stating the next portion of the sentence,”unless you choose to add extra items”.
My answer to LDRS – We didnt”add extra products.” They dont ask the proper questions to be able to acquire accurate information concerning what our family possessions are. We answered questions right in what we asked us. How do we understand to do anything but answer what they request?

Our movement has been scheduled for its first week of July. On Monday, July 2nd that a Quality Assurance agent called me to perform a comprehensive walk-through of what’s in the house based on pictures in the MLS list of our home in the marketplace. This telephone call happened approximately 5 times prior to our move – however this movement date has been changed several times because of agents in the business giving us dates that they seemingly had no right to provide us since they were not Dispatch (we were later told that by Dispatch that those workers had no right to provide us pick-up/move dates, and that this dispatch individual wasn’t a part of the telephone call so these dates cant be respected ) The Quality Assurance telephone call enhanced the estimate to $15,109.15.
LDRS answer to preceding –“Quality Assurance telephone didn’t boost the quote — added services and items did. Quality Assurance telephone was created to be certain that we have most precise information right before the transfer. People today sell furniture, contribute or just deciding to not take a while.”
My answer to LDRS – I love the way they place the attribute of this incorrect number of things on the customer – like we understand how many boxes we’ll have once everything is packaged. What customer would understand – Oh, our bedroom will require 8 boxes? I am sorry, we didnt know just how many boxes every room would need.

My spouse phoned them back to whine that a business that offers exceptional customer service wouldn’t increase a quotation 5 days in front of a move so that the customer has no option but to go together because we now had no opportunity to decide on the following moving company.
LDRS answer to above –“We not actually knowing what exceptional customer support needs to do with adding extra items to the stock.”
My reply to LDRS – Ummm wow. I said”outstanding customer service” since I believed that was exactly what we’d get. A firm with exceptional customer support wouldn’t call 5 DAYS prior to a transfer and do a stroll that increases the sum if their resale policy says we won’t get our deposit back should we cancel after seven days before the transfer date. 5 times prior to a movement makes it impossible to get a client to cancel – particularly when the firm has over $3,000 of their designated transferring funds.

The Manager that my wife talked to had been condescending and rude and talked to her like my spouse was a kid. This did escalate my spouse. The supervisor didn’t wish to hear anything that my spouse needed to say. We didn’t have the money to cover this extra unexpected price. This made her hectic as we had been about a deadline. This stressed her to the stage she had been crying. My spouse did after apologize- that the supervisor didn’t. The simple fact remains, this firm put the blame on us for not providing accurate information to them in the time of their booking. We answered all of the questions asked people and assumed we can place our trust in somebody who does this for a living. They didn’t give an apology for this massive annoyance of not asking the ideal questions in the very first phone call/booking in order that they can give us a more precise quote. They continued to blame us. This”quality management” telephone call must have happened the very next day after reserving. This could have given us the opportunity to decide on another corporation. The telephone call between my spouse and boss ended up in the business needing to hear this recorded conversation between me and their agent in the first quote phone call. They listened to it and then called us back and said they’d provide a reduction after listening to the recorded call. Maybe it had been the
“this quote won’t raise” portion of the telephone, but I am supposing that. They never told us exactly what made them provide the reduction. This dropped the last total to $13,745.
LDRS answer to over –“Let’s apologize again, we’re extremely sorry that client fills that manner, but it doesn’t indicate that we must agree with everything what was stated. For all the problems we provided $1000 reduction, therefore we thought we place it all behind us. Apparently not.”
My reply to LDRS – It could have been”put behind us” except that on the shipping date AFTER what was loaded that they raised the number AGAIN – DUE TO POOR PACKING AND LOADING!!! This wasn’t because of us”adding extra items” because they so lovingly wish to say since they believe that reaction makes them look great.

Our final date has been scheduled for Monday, July 9th. The packers/drivers came Sunday July 8th. My spouse and I, after getting that call on Monday raising the entire price, started selling and getting rid of much more things than we originally did. We also packaged a number of our possessions. We’re attempting to have it reduced by eliminating a lot. After the packers were approximately 3/4 of the way done I moved outside to disassemble shelving units which were at the garage. The packer who appeared to be in charge told me to leave them constructed. I was shocked. I responded with,”Your organization prices per cubic ft. Why can I abandon them constructed?” He responded,”Oh, I forgot. Please proceed a disassemble them.” This left us panic.
LDRS answer to over –“What just made client dread we not actually comprehending. This was a brand new employee coming in the firm working by weight. It doesn’t meter for all those businesses — constructed shelf weights exactly the like disassembled. He was perplexed, but recognized that and told client to keep on disassembling. Where’s the main reason behind fear?”
My answer to LDRS – Wow- doesnt have an idiot to observe the main reason for the fear. Whether this packer came from an organization which charges each weight and he’s now almost through packaging my home – HELLO!!!! Meaning he’d that point of thinking the whole time that he had been packaging. How can you not see this? And even in the event that you were able to see that. What difference does it make that I said we panicked? We’re the clients and we all panicked. Rather than reacting in a condescending manner – how about reacting that you apologize to the fact that we panicked. That would be the way the company that cares about their clients would react. However, you dont- you’re condescending.

We walked around room to room and found boxes and boxes packaged. We were perplexed as to what would be in all of the boxes because we’d packed quite a while. We discovered that sofa and seat cushions were removed and packaged into big garment boxes rather than being shrinkwrapped with the sofas and chairs. We moved and touched garment boxes which sensed half complete. Clothing transferred from side to side because of getting excess space. I went outside and watched them load and saw the loading endeavor was dreadful. Boxes were turned in their corners so another box could not be placed in with it. Space at the trailer wasn’t utilized to its fullest. The packers and loaders did not seem to get trained together with the significance of”how do I best package this customer so we simply take up the smallest amount of trailer space and yet be cautious in managing their possessions.” It had been done hurried and haphazardly. We do not even know yet the magnitude of the inefficiency of the packaging job. We will not know completely until we start unpacking. And, needless to say, this loading and packaging resulted in the estimate to raise yet again. We werent informed of the growth until everything was nearly entirely loaded. We did not wish to sign the record saying the growth in price but were told that they wouldn’t transfer anything if we did not sign it. I know about DOT legislation. This isn’t about these laws – that is all about making things right from your customer. We ought to have been in a position to rectify this situation then and there and we weren’t given that chance. Closing on the house has been the very following moment. We had no option but to sign. We could not have them depart everything in these trailers or even worse – unload it all if we did not sign. The brand new quote was now around $19,000. We don’t believe we should cover wasteful loading and packaging. They will need to be better trained. The most important office and direction have to be trained about how best to talk to an unhappy customer along with also the loaders and packers will need to be trained the way to effectively pack and load in a manner that matches a business that costs a cubic foot.
LDRS answer to over –“We value customers’ advice and we’ll look to it. What we needed to state this initial quote was granted to transfer 370 things to Alabama. 496 items were sent in Alabama. 126 ADDITIONAL ITEMS. You may blame on the loaders, packers, office employees, but if you’ve got 30 percent more things that you have about the quote you ought to expect the rise in price.”
My answer to LDRS – Umm why do I never blame it on the loaders? How can it be my fault that they packaged terrible which caused obviously additional boxes? Not only extra boxes but how items were loaded. Allow me to provide an illustration of the excellent loading abilities. 1) a lawn mower was packed in addition to my living space furniture seat. Oil spilled out on my seat. But if you bill per cubic foot – why could you outside a lawn mower in addition to a seat?? 2) They also unloaded all of my dresser drawers that caused LOTS of further boxes. These things should have been retained within the dresser drawers, so you cant tell me you cant transfer things like that since the previous 3 moves we left the movers left the clothes from the dresser drawers. This trigger a whole lot more cubic space on account of the boxes. We must NOT be accountable for this ridiculous means of packaging and utilizing distance.

What’s so sad is that we now will be telling the folks delivering that we need them to unload everything and place it on the base floor of our property. Though we paid for packaging and movers who could place things in their proper rooms we don’t wish to pay the extra fees that can incur for STAIRS. We’ll move everything upstairs ourselves.
LDRS answer to over –“we don’t bill for inner stairs. Client is merely jumping to conclusions and assume a thing which not really there.”
My answer to LDRS- We werent supposing anything, the arrangement is worded bizarre that talks about staircase. We were just confused. When the driver came he explained it better to us.

What amazes me also is that this company says they work 7 days per week however their delivery window is 17 BUSINESS days. And we discovered yesterday they will be delivering to the 17th day. Our possessions are sitting on a dock somewhere for an whole month. Anyone in Amendment understands that this can be a claim waiting to happen. It’s a testament to ineffective logistics to get a professional moving company.
LDRS answer to over –“what’s the link between our delivery window along with also our working hours? 17 BUSINESS days has been the requirement for shipping from the start, if consumer was worried about it he might have altered the provider. It wasn’t a difficulty than, why it’s now?”
My reply to LDRS – It is not that its an issue. We utilized movers before that provide us a window. NEVER has some of these taken the whole window to provide. We only think its strange that this provider operates weekends but doesnt comprise those days in their span given. From a Public Relations standpoint it seems bad. Obviously, 1 thing that I understand is that this firm doesnt look at matters from a PR standpoint.

Another answer from LDRS for over paragraph–“Clearly client isn’t in trucking. Shipments not hanging on the docks, they’re stored in warehouses. Anyone understands that dispatch in the warehouse has 0.1percent of their”claim to occur”.
My answer to LDRS – Wow again – arent they polite in their answers to their customers?? I apologize that I used the term”dock” rather than”warehouse.” Apparently I dropped into that.1percent since we had more things damaged inside this movement than ALL OTHER MOVES COMBINED! In reality, I’ll say here – Id transferred us once and NOTHING was ruined. Atlas moved us once and two large items were ruined but nothing in boxes had been. Allied transferred us again and one item was ruined. This firm damaged so many things and missing things that I cant even type all of them here. It would take a long time.

We’ll maintain a vacant house for a month. My spouse also has had to put her business on hold for an whole month and can not earn money as they have all her goods. This family owned and operated firm doesn’t have our family’s best interest in mind. It seems once again, they”hook” the customer in and then afterward increase price at a stage in the trade that the customer has no choice. They utilize their contract verbiage to justify their own activities. It’s unethical and deceitful to do business this way. You’d think after all these complaints which are indistinguishable in character they’d change how they conduct business, however they clearly dont care to.
LDRS answer to over –“They utilize their contract verbiage to justify their activities” — actually??? We utilize our contract verbiage since it is the contract between the business and the client and we follow it. We’re extremely upfront with what we’re likely to perform, at what speeds and at what time period and if a person decides that it is a contract and joke don’t imply anything we can’t help it.”
My answer to LDRS – Wow – again the answer is really agreeable. They’re NOT UPFRONT ABOUT ANYTHING!!! If they’d only supply a walk-through of their contract with the customer at the start of the trade – that will stop a good deal of what’s annoying for their clientele. That’s a straightforward yet PROFOUND approach to offer great customer services. However , if you recklessly opt to utilize this business that you will find they don’t offer decent customer support as soon as they have your deposit. After deposit is paid…. BE PREPARED!!!

Nightmare to deal with Long Distance relocation services

To start with, due to my husband’s occupation, we moved a number of times in the previous ten decades. We did not mind moving so much before we’d support using Extended Distance Relocation Services. It turned into a nightmare for individuals considering moving again.
We proceeded from Atlanta to Chicago on August 2 and has been confident our possessions would arrived at August 4 and that the contract stating up to ten times is only”follow the book” once we attempted to cancel the movement because we had the specific shipping day. Our truck did not arrive till August 16. We needed to remain in resort and after that because we could not afford anymore, in a vacant house for two weeks. Their customer support has been the worst section. Paula, the client support supervisor was so rude and never revealed compassion / apology for that which we needed to endure. They promised to telephone us several occasions by special time/day to upgrade about the truck but never ever did. Our possessions arrived with 1 classic chair and each of the shelve components of two book shelves overlooking. These were two bookshelves that the choice up people up billed us for $300 additional. We chose to get them go the bookshelves anyhow. We had two significant frames sitting at the living room with no shelves to place stuffs on. Their delivery driver declared that the missing things, but they requested us to submit a complex claim with people notarization (?) And stated they had around 4 weeks to do it.
SO PLEASE, DO YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS COMPANY. I would not advise this business, even in my own enemy.

    Possible scam

LDRS picked my things up nearly an whole month ago and they’re still being held at a storage facility throughout the nation. We already paid in full so that I assume they have no incentive to follow along with our shipping. I had been given a few delivery dates which kept being pushed back and they eventually admitted that they never even loaded my items for shipping when they stated they did. I see no deadline for getting back my things and have incurred great cost from repurchasing everyday household items such as a stroller and a highchair because mine are being hauled. We’ve been sleeping on the ground and living from a bag for the last month with no end in sight.

    Good workers

I have some fairly hefty toolsets which need to be transferred with fantastic care. I saw these men operate and they took excellent care and handled my possessions with the admiration that comes from using a terrific work ethic. Highly recommended business.

Although we had been creating a short-distance move, the logistics of moving and packaging the whole home was a nightmare. My spouse and I’m pleased we chose this business because they managed the entire affair with professional ease. We highly recommend them.

    These movers are the worst

They broke and ruined just about all of my furniture. I was also missing a lot of stuff. They quote you one price for you to hire them and then charges you nearly twice. They inform you when you first hire them that all you items are covered by insurance and there’s absolutely no need to carry out other policy. But then when it is time for them to look after the harm they simply offer you .60 pennies a pound and they also ascertain that the burden.

I don’t have any hesitation in recommending Long Distance Relocation Services because of its professionalism, speed and efficacy.

    Long-distance move from Sacramento, CA
    Unprofessional, disorganized

There are two chief motives for the negative review of the provider. The first was that the lack of professionalism on the part of the moving staff that delivered our family things to our new site. The foreman was quite abrasive, rude, and disrespectful during the move. The contract that we signed said that the complete moving service which we had been paying for included with the movers proceed tagged boxes to the right rooms in the home and well as contained fundamental disassembly/reassembly of furniture. The foreman became angry when we began directing the movers carrying the boxes to the right rooms in the home and told me that they were just needed to leave all of our things in the primary area of the home. My wife asked for assistance reassembling a mattress frame and two bookshelves that the firm had disassembled as a member of this transfer. The foreman refused. When my wife told me that the contract we signed up contained fundamental disassembly/reassembly of furniture, the foreman said”Woman, you simply have a bad attitude and expect everybody to do everything for you. You should have something messed up on mind .” After he said this he raised his voice to a degree that fearful my 1 year-old daughter and left her cry.

Following the foreman had ended yelling in my wife with a poor attitude and with something awakened in her mind, he advised us to sign the bill of laden, which we reluctantly did, after he stated”I’m leaving right now if you sign it or not. If you do not sign it you may find no burden tickets, no receipt, no nothing.” The behaviour of the foreman was poor enough that after the transferring team had abandoned, among those additional movers came back to apologize to the unprofessional way the foreman had treated us and said that he would be pleased to vouch for us when we chose to the corporation. When we spoke to customer support regarding our experience with this specific foreman, they listened and listed our criticism but no apologies were provided and no effort to create any type of amends were ever made. The disrespectful manner that this foreman handled my wife and daughter in my house and the discount with this behaviour on the part of the provider certainly says something about just how much they appreciate their customers. All this is much more than reason enough for me never to recommend this company to anybody, and never to trust them with my company again.

Besides this disrespectful, unprofessional way we had been treated in our house with this organization’s foreman, they revealed a disappointing lack of proficiency and organization in supplying me with all the documentation for my own move. As an active duty military member, I’m required to give weight tickets and tickets if the army transfers me to another place in order for the army to reimburse me for your movement. I made it called Long Distance Relocation Services earlier I paid the deposit to the transfer, and they ensured me that they had a great deal of experience moving army members and that they would immediately offer the burden tickets and tickets needed for me to get reimbursed for your transfer by the army. The foreman didn’t supply us with a copy of the fat tickets nor the bill of laden if the objects were delivered. It took over a couple of me phoning the business two times per week or even more before I finally got copies of their weight tickets. It’s now been nearly 2 and a half an hour and I still do not own a duplicate of the bill of laden, which I desire for reimbursement for my own move. This has seriously delayed my compensation in the army and has placed our family in a tough financial situation because of this business’s inability to supply us with documentation to the transfer in a timely way.

Don’t expect this business to move your household products, particularly if you’re military personnel doing a personally procured move. Their lack of professionalism and respect along with their inability to offer documentation is proof of the disregard for their clients.

Terrible Service and Didn’t Reimburse for Property Damage

We compensated LDRS $11,000 to proceed out of Oregon to Massachusetts. When they arrived to package our home they pulled the washing machine right down the staircase. We filed a claimthat was denied since they mentioned their coverage of not being responsible for property damage. Throughout the whole moving process they have been also beyond impolite to talk to on the telephone. I wouldn’t suggest them to anybody, and I am honestly surprised they are still in business.

    Worst Moving Company

Paid over $15k to Long Distance Relocation Services to get a transfer from VA to AZ at June 2018. We needed to help the source movers since they had been operating behind, they also re-adjusted the cost quoted several times after our possessions had already been loaded.
After our belongings came at AZ the movers tried to unload items which didn’t belong to us and that I needed to notify the movers that the items didn’t belong to us. We had several things broken because of inadequate packaging to include my kid’s attic bed I filed a claim form to the broken things in July after awaiting the proposed time-frame to allow them to process the claim as stated in the paperwork that they advised me I needed to sign a release for those funds that I did, it’s now January 2019 and I haven’t seen payment I’ve tried calling their maintain office and left a few messages without a yield response.
Don’t use this company to your move if you don’t would like to wind up with your possessions broken and combating a claim.

Move San Diego CA to Wheaton IL

I know this is a cliche, yet, I’d give these movers a -5 star rating if at all possible.

They bait and change and given bogus amounts seeing their load-in to bulge up the moving cost. They Under estimated that the movement them, tacked on nearly 2,000 cubic feet into the last load outside.

In my circumstance, LDRS, utilized half packaged boxes (with out any packaging material) and dodgy loading approaches to provide the true load outside.

My occupation had supposedly been 3,500 cubic feet, but the boxes inserted right into a 3,150 cubic foot storage locker. When I eventually rearranged their hapless unloading in the device, the amount came into 2,670 cubic feet. Once I checked all of the boxes and repacked them, the total cubic footage was 1, 840 cubic feet.

LDRS and their agents/employees additionally misplaced/stole $17,500 worth of product and ruined or broke yet another $11,000 worth of home products such as china, Waterford Crystal, damaged appliances, cracked Denby china, broken boogie boards, ruined bikes and lots of other products.

This provider is presently not authorized to function according to this D.O.T. (as of the writing on 01/27/2019).

Sufficed to say, they just possible recuperation I’ve available is mediation or even a civil law suit (neglect, misrepresentation/fraud and transformation.) Regrettably, I think they could be moving out of business.

I’ll also be considering filing criminal charges against the business in California for theft, larceny, fraud or misrepresentation.

Ultimately, we didn’t have them send to the destination. We had it delivered into a storage device so that we can get out from underneath their malfeasance.

Horrible Company! Would give lower rating if I could!

The initial quote we obtained was $6466.00, and it had been raised to $8145.45 since they’d”left out specific items” that we did inform them about. Then the day of the transfer, AFTER that our things were packed on the vehicle, they notify us the last cost was $16767.50!

The movers showed up a day early to our home, so we were scrambling to have the last of our things packed up – eventually just conceding and paying for the additional charge for them to finish the pack. . .this was shown to be a”so-so” decision. Our final now was pushed by two weeks and of course that they can store our belongings, but it could be an extra $2,800.

The cost of the transfer doubled (even with no packaging ) in the initial quotation. We’d clothing and a piano which we did not inform them about (incidentally , we did). However, what are we going to do, have them accept the items already on the truck away and then locate a different inspector in a couple of hours??? Lesson learned, ALWAYS READ THE 30 pages of fine print associated with a long distance transfer and ALWAYS get a not to exceed cost. Therefore, you get the image….Classic bait and change!!!

W predicted let them understand that we could not begin unloading until dawn, or Saturday. However, when I finally got somebody to speak to me personally, they acted as they never actually knew that they were to be there Friday. Incidentally,”we are not loading your items till Monday day”! WHAT!!!! Our stuff was not going to arrive till Tuesday at 3:00.

Now, I am back on the telephone with Paula. Need to discuss the purchase price of the move along with the fact that our stuff did not arrive as agreed upon. Long Distance Movers reply: I must just be thankful that they worked together with us and didn’t charge whole cost for the rest of the packaging because they arrived a day early. They supplied the lender the petition advice regarding keeping our house – duh! Obviously they did, they desired PAID. At that stage, I knew I was fighting a losing struggle. They’d mastered holding people’s property hostage and from dread of the belongings being damaged beyond use, you concede.

Thus, Tuesday finally arrives. The movers promptly appear at 3:00, with a team of, wait for this, TWO guys! Yes, two guys. They had 6 once they filled up the home but delivered two to unload us. Thursday, there are a number of things that I had to take a look in….Broken glass and top onto the barristers bookcase, shattered floor lamp, two boxes of breakables that seemed like they were struck by a bat or run over with a vehicle…. Obviously, we could file a claim and receive compensation….RIGHT. Just escape my home!!!

    Good company

I proceeded with them over a year ago but still have a fantastic feeling. Lately my new neighbors moved in the flat below. They left a wreck at the elevator, movers smelled just like they never noticed shower and they had been swearing right and left. I recall when I proceeded with LDRS men were professional, tidy and well spoken. My interactions with their workplace was very useful and enlightening. I fill so great that I proceeded together

I will not get these movers again.

I wouldn’t get these individuals again. The movers weren’t cautious how they packaged lamp shades, shattered the arm onto the lamp, and in my tripod camera holder broke the slider which it might move down or up on, broke two wheels in my dinning room buffet table. Never, Never, again, also did not figure the entire total move right, and needed me cover additional u-haul truck so that the might haul it to there primary toilet since they could not get in my own apt. Complicated. Why did not they understand that from the start. Never, again I’m a senior citizen, what a rip off. I needed to resolve things itself. They said I needed to find the newspapers notarize. A good deal of work, I would need to find a lawyer.

    Completely dishonest

We learned quite quickly that anything these folks said on the telephone was useless if it was not supported via email – so they never once confirmed exactly what they said on the telephone with tough print evidence via email. The previous example was being advised that we’re due a refund of $510 for not providing within their guaranteed date range. In addition, they never responded to our accredited email outlining our claim for damages and missing things. To anyone considering utilizing these individuals, These are the kind of individuals for which the word caveat emptor was. I and many others have warned you.
