Our move eventually occurred – and despite all of our hard work before and after Extended Distance did their thing, it was a MONSTER of a project! These guys are fantastic. Nani is quite professional, and he also sent out some very experienced and effective movers. I called the company and got a call back form Ryan their”supervisor” and after talking with him he promised me I would find an extra discount following the truck becomes loaded and prepared to send, to my surprise which never occurred and was never again able to catch him on the telephone, my items afterward went to storage container and they remained for two weeks. My transfer was sent on 6.17.18 I paid the rest of $1,452 money. Every forced it to me except for 3 quite expensive hand painted artwork, and they were able to hurt my gas stove, 3 door fridge, and LG washer. I called multiple times and obtained Tommy on the phone and I explained 3 of my possessions are stolen. Just because what other explanation is there? He said that perhaps my items got left behind at the warehouse and he’d have his men check over the weekend. I phoned the next Tuesday and Tommy stated they did not find anything, that perhaps the things were shipped to another address and that he will get in touch with each of the other clients to determine whether they got incorrect items sent, obviously that never occurred! I called the movers that unpacked me, because they had 4 additional motions after mine, I asked them when he saw my paintings and delivered him pictures. He explained they didn’t see them. At this time I had been led by Tommy to perform a claim and move like that. So I really did. Now 8.9.18 I had been sent an email with a settlement of $112.50 for my stolen and ruined great! What a JOKE!!!! That is Ludacris!!! You over control my move and harm and steal my items and then give me cents to the damages and loss? This business should get sued and permit has to be revoked! They’re an insult to the neighborhood and should not be servicing anybody.

The accounts manager was great also and he kept me informed as to where we were in. There were not any surprises at the movement anyhow during pick-up because I believed I was likely to get two days to get prepared but it was a two day pickup window. I had been pretty much prepared when they arrived, however, I had been packaging since they were still loading. Then everything went according to timetable to your delivery.

Throughout the course of 8 hour move following pissing off my whole building staff since they were moving so slow and were 4 hours behidn schedule, the foreman jacked up the cost THREE TIMES during the day. He made it quite clear though that by the conclusion he would”negotiate a fantastic price.” I phoned the moving office to express my rage and frustration and that he explained he’d”never misquoted such as this before” therefore he’d also supply a discount. Long Distance Inc was topnotch! I jumped my uhaul forcing from vermont to florida on i295 in NY. They towed the truck into a body shop and that I had been out of luck.
