    Long-distance move from Florida
    Proud

My spouse and I chose to employ a professional inspector to move us into another side of Miami, FL. We did not have so many matters, but we needed the very best mover we can get because we appreciate our hard earned stuff. We picked Long Distance Movers and we’re really pleased with our choice as the procedure drew to a finish. The men moved everything with no damages and with no lost items. They helped us with everything as we busied ourselves with different things. We’d no worries during the move and we’d love to urge Long Distance Movers to everyone that values their possessions and cash.

    Louisiana to Michigan Move

    5 STARS!!!
Thomas McGarry, Senior Sales Coordinator, is a significant assistance to me at the preparation phases. I have never hired movers before and he answered every question entirely and patiently. I have managed to receive extra replies via texts, also. He’s been cheerful and cheerful –valued because I am going through a divorce after a lengthy marriage.

I was fortunate because I happened to call this business from the blue. 1 past firm treated me like an idiot. When you are moving from Louisiana to Michigan, you will need great service and also a kind person on the opposite end. Mr. McGarry makes it look simpler than I had been worried it’d be!

    Long-distance move from Hartford, CT
Pretty Good. Quote is a bit inaccurate

I picked LDM since Jay (the rep that I had been connected with) was really nice and useful. After the movers arrived into my apt, ” they stated the cubic foot of my transfer was over the quotation, and it had been an excess few hundred of bucks. Aside from that, the transferring business arrived, packed with of my belongings, and has been outside the door without a longer than two weeks. In general, this was a very great experience. Not too much for a moving agent.

I still have my car to be hauled, a lot more about that after…

    Long-distance move from Chicago, IL
Lack of Customer Service and no empathy for the customer

I contacted LDM since they didn’t have some negative reviews on both the sites and the BBB. I had been advised that this is a family business so I’m assuming they’d be good at customer support and follow ups. I’ve been wrong!
The quote under the Job Order L4315022 was for $1550.00. I paid the deposit of $680.00 to fasten the transfer. I called the week before to confirm whether all was put, that I didn’t get a call. I then sent an email that the representative, Anthony, responded. That did follow with a telephone call.
I did inquire if the remaining payments are in certified check or charge card, being counseled to utilize a certified check. The total amount of the test was $435.00. The movers advised that I would have to pay an additional $75.00 and”suggestion” that is normally 10 percent of their total. I wasn’t ready for the additional so that I advised I would have to visit the bank. That said, the movers suggested I could compose a personal check for the combined sum of $225.00 (75+150). They cashed the check as I told them.
The real drivers came, there were three in total. The transfer went fast as I don’t have a lot of, 25 boxes along with three pieces of furniture. This took 45 mins.
I had been advised the remaining balance of $435.00 could be reached in the destination of my new residence in Dallas, TX. This prospective money or money order. I signed the paper work and has been fulfilled.
I opted for the 30 day storage because I didn’t have a lease in place for Dallas. I got a call from the dispatcher on July 12, 2017 requesting a speech to supply the contents. The dispatcher comprised a email address that he said was a much better way of touch. I emailed and called on July 15, 2017 using the speech in Dallas. I didn’t get a call or answer to the emailaddress.
I waited until July 17, 2017 and predicted. I had been guided by the dispatcher, there could be an extra charge of $350.00 to the shuttle since the truck can’t obtain access to this building. The paperwork that I signed says that the minimum is $300.00. At that stage, I advised I’d be in the flat on July 25, 2017 and may get the goods.
I predicted on July 24, 2017 to state I had been in Dallas and would love to understand the condition of the date and move. Advised have to validate the driver. I didn’t hear back so again, I called to confirm, was advised this could be in another few days. I requested for a particular date since I want to book the freight elevator to the transfer and the period of the afternoon, was again advised that the driver could contact. I had been given the contact number of the motorist, 305-744-1211, which I tried to call, but he doesn’t have a voice email. Again, I called the dispatcher to inform, I had been told I’d be given a call back, which I’m still awaiting.
Now , I again called the dispatcher and there was no answer, and so I called the main number, was again advised the dispatcher will call me; again, I’m still awaiting the telephone without a call back even from the corporation.
I know not what goes as planned, but this lack of customer support and maybe even compassion for the client is grossly lacking. I don’t know about most people, but I am beginning a new job at the new city and I cannot just take off work once I pick nor if I must go thru the thought of calling a moving company once I am the client and because the vast majority of the payment was created, they ought to be imagining the incorrect and do something.

    Long-distance move from Indiana
    Moved from Indiana to michigan

My experience was awful bad. My husband was out of town and movers arrived at 6pm at a snowstorm, 3 Native men that only 2 did 95 percent of their job,and they also told me to not be concerned about exactly what they were doing! Snow and dirt out of the garage throughout my carpet. I needed to ask them to put down a rug. I eventually began helping them. Feed them pizza it was so late. They left at 11pm. I put $1,500 down using a card initially. They told me it’d be just another $2,100 complete, not the 1600 I had been advised. I could purchase insurance for a second $1,000. Do not use boxes to the three T B. Was told I had to pay money or postal money order. ERIK out of LONG DISTANCE MOVERS stated the evening before give them a credit card for balance. Delivery day I called another Erik who travelled over list that was incorrect, he never called back and also spent two hours trying to make cash from my bank to cover them a postal money order. They eventually unloaded and the following day that my 60 inch TV was busted. My invoice as soon as they fueled up was $3,100. So I really paid $4,500 complete. If I was advised that this upfront to get a three bedroom home with only some crap in 3rd bedroom, no cellar. It was $1,000 more affordable using another firm 2 yrs back when I transferred into DO NOT CALL THIS LONG DISTANCE MOVERS from Del ray Florida.

Long-distance move from North Thetford, VT
    Worst

We’re a retired military family so that this was our 9th movement but first move as a civilian. It was dreadful. We explicitly told the agent that we desired a PCS type proceed predicated on burden since we understood our precise household products weight. He concurred and was all friendly and useful until it had been bidded out and then we never heard from him again. He didn’t return telephone calls or texts ever again. The packaging company told us we’d 4000 more pounds than we’d said and billed us for additional stuff and gas despite our evidence of weight in the prior movement 2 decades back and we’d sold things. They literally extorted us and showed us untrue weight tickets. Prior to delivery, I needed to pay the Driver $400 to find a reweigh that demonstrates we’d 4000 lbs less than we had been billed. In addition they did a dreadful bunch job and broke several products. We now have are beginning legal actions to receive our extra fees back and will report them to the BBB and instigate a national investigation in their extortion clinics as a organization.

Long Distance Movers washed their hands the moment they obtained their cash. I spent a few hours trying for to have problems solved… a month afterwards, no settlement. Long Distance Movers hired a ranked”F” BBB firm to transfer my home things. Still another nightmare in itself. I didn’t figure out the moving firm’s name (Cease and Proceed ) before the day of packaging. The guy in control of the team said my family great’ago’ the lineup about the moving truck also stated it was an extra $500. Didn’t figure out until AFTER the check had been cashed that this guy is claiming it had been a”TIP” – and – this was just ONE of several problems with the business. They dropped my mattress, plenty of broken/lost products. Packing was that of a armature. Long Distance Movers aren’t carrying some responsibility for sending this business to your own residence. The price I had been billed at pickup was over double the quote Long Distance Movers stated it’d be. Long Distance Movers stated they’re from this picture and also to take care of the movers straight. These kinds of companies will need to get exposed. A waste of $5,272… and this doesn’t include all of the damages/lost things – – approx. $6,451. I’ve got names, dates and times of the nightmare. Both firms are reported / a complaint was filed to the BBB.

    Bait and Switch

After reviewing 10 carriers and reviewing their own evaluations I picked this corporation. The agent stated his name was Robby and text me his personal cell phone when I had some issues. We analyzed the date that the contents needed to be in the new home, all prices which according to him was all materials, go out and move in as long as there were no additional actions. Robby kept telling me that his firm had been A rated, and really had great reviews. On moving day another firm came, using another contract, I have billed $365 also and the driver explained that it might take 21 days lawfully to receive my stuff into your home. They then wanted to have paid although Extended Distance had already been compensated. Don’t trust this business

Long-distance move from Virginia Beach, VA
Virginia Beach, VA to Lexington, KY

The largest difficulty came for shipping together with them and the business they employed”Roadrunner” (stationed in NC). I also called and said I’d have the ability to accept shipping June 20th. I had been told my delivery are the next Saturday between noon and 3. The afternoon came and nobody showed. Beginning that Monday, I can just talk with a woman from Long Distance Movers called Aly. Because she was the sole individual. Who recovered my calls, returned any calls that were missed, and attempted to solve the matter, I don’t have any complaints about her. For THREE WEEKS, I had been told my delivery could be the Saturday between 5 and 3. I had not been advised a reason why that never occurred until the five times prior delivery. The weekend of, I had been given the whole weekend for a window (all after was advised by RoadRunner). The concluding day, I was told that the truck broke down and they needed to await a copy….towards the day I presumed that my delivery could be Monday because Sunday was the last day of this window. Monday day around 1, Dispatch just said Tuesday evening. I phoned back at 5 on the dot to an upgrade and Jennifer maintained”it was to today, but someone changed it on Wednesday”. Wednesday, no shipping becuase the motorist”forgot paperwork to the prior customer and needed to turn around”. Thursday comes and I am guarenteed between 5 and 3, no matter how the motorist calls in 4:30 and informs me 7:30. Fantastic news is that he eventually shows up.

Throughout the full 3 weeks, I am told I’d received reductions to the inconveniences during this ordeal. The ONLY reduction I purchased was for them not demonstrating that day in the very first period and ended up spending longer than guaranteed. Now that my stuff was delivered, I’m not able to get in touch with anybody.

Complete Disaster - They lost my car key

Long Distance movers(http://www.ldmoversinc.com/) – They deserve only 0-star evaluation. Long distance movers are all agents and don’t have any control over the bureaus and the pickup drivers they’re working with. When something goes wrong, they state”that you contact the service directly, we cannot help you”. They aren’t professionals and they don’t have any clue how to conduct this enterprise.

    Problems

It has been four weeks. They dropped my Automobile key and continue reacting”Use your free key”. I don’t have any idea who sent my car like I got two movers particulars in long distance movers and also the pickup motorist. Not one of those agencies are accessible. It goes directly to voice mail. I doubt they’re real movers.

The transportation agent information shared with the motorist – National Moving Group Inc – 4731, W Atlantic Ave, Ste 14 delray beach, FL, 33445

The transportation broker data offered by Long Distance Movers – C&J Transport of Ludington Michigan INC (prev. C&J Transport), 8314 Olive Blvd, saint louis, MO 63132

Nov 2017, I phoned them to haul my car in Saint Louis to Atlanta. I followed up using long distance movers along with the pickup service however, the pick-up along with the bureau weren’t accessible and motorist came 3 days later to pick my own vehicle. I had to ask my buddy to organize the move since I already left town.
Driver stated We needed to cover whole amount before he’d select the vehicle. We predicted long distance movers plus they stated to cover the entire volume. I had no other choice since I previously paid 150$ – progress into them. My information: NEVER PAY THE Complete AMOUNT. PAY THE REMAINING AMOUNT AFTER YOUR CAR ARRIVES IN THE NEW Site.
As the motorist and the bureau got all of the cash, the driver left the vehicle in my flat in Atlanta and abandoned without even handing over the keys for me or to my own landlord. As soon as I named the service for the secret I requested me to test few areas beyond the vehicle and the driver wasn’t accessible. It went on for a week and that I needed to use the only spare secret I’d. Until now 03/11/2018, I didn’t receive my key back.
Long Distance movers (Frank Anthony, Annie Varney, heidil) They continue mentioning the motorist and the bureau aren’t answering our phone, we abandoned voice mail. You’ve got the spare key, correct?
    What a silly reaction?
Long Distance movers(http://www.ldmoversinc.com/) don’t understand who they do business together and they don’t have any idea/control to attain their service in the event the agency messes up things. It has been four weeks already. NEVER TRUST this Agency – LONG DITANCE MOVERS (http://www.ldmoversinc.com/)

I am hoping this can help other people to pick the excellent movers.

    Rating 0/5.

    Long-distance move from Denver, CO
    Avoid them

They had been all nicey nice till after they received their part of the transfer payment deposit. They supplied a pickup date using a three hour window, along with the Agency they contracted with was 2.5 hours late, and that I had a plane to catch,” We immediately finished the paperwork and also my neighbor remained and supervised them. They didn’t wrap things they need to have and things were ruined. The actual nightmare was that it required 20 days for shipping after a few calls to customer support. My material was at a warehouse for two weeks and got dirty. Items were ruined, along with the brokers I dealt with didn’t care or react to my own worries on really late shipping. I then have hit by a $300 long haul fee at shipping in order to add insult to injury. They didn’t build the mattress correctly and so were in a major hurry to get outside if my husband told them that they weren’t getting a hint. So happy to be done together. If you have went with another estimate for door to door with a single carrier.

    Long-distance move from Glendale, AZ
    Trucking company

This firm picked up furniture and personal belongings for a living area and bedroom. Pick up date was June 14 of this year. Now is July 9 and still nothing. The communication from the business since they chose up land was past underwhelming. They’ve documentation on when and how many times I called or attempted to get hold of them. Sometimes the did not even say Hi, simply said wait a moment and dialed somebody else. I had been told First 5 to 10 days for delivery then 14 days then 7 to 21 days afterward no later then July 5th afterward on July 4th was advised 21 business days. WHAT trucking COMPANY SETS UP EVERY WEEKEND? I WAS TOLD A FEW TIMES IT WAS STILL SITTING IN az. THE LAST I WAS TOLD WAS JULY 10TH. TODAY S JULY 9TH. WISH US LUCK. I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN AN ANSWER ON FINAL BILL Where the TOTAL HAS ALREADY GONE $1500 OVER THE QUOTE. PLEASE RESEARCH MORE CAREFULLY. I THOUGHT I DID AND REALLY FELT COMFORTABLE. MADE A BIG MISTAKE. BEWARE MY mum, who’s the individual we transferred said if anybody proposes this firm say NO. She’s 88 yrs older and living from a bag for a month.
