    Long-distance move from Arizona
    Moving scam

We utilized Lion Transportation to transfer my mom’s furniture and household things. From the beginning we had been lied to. Besides under-estimating the burden, which is apparently common to the moving business. Three men came an hour and a half late in a funding truck. They stated the moving truck was in Phoenix. My mom insisted on talking to the dispatcher to inquire why the truck was not sent. She had been advised that the truck could not travel to our city on the street there. This street is the major artery between I-10 and I-40. It’s US I-17. From there’s just another nicely traveled hwy into our dwelling. She eventually consented to let them load her things on the funding truck to be taken into Phoenix and moved to the truck which would require them to Arkansas. They did not end until after midnight. When they informed us we’d need to accompany them into some scale to get the truck weighed again. Rather than going south they insisted on moving north to Flagstaff. I wound up meeting them in a truck stop west of Flagstaff. I told the guy in charge that he was moving out of the way to reach phoenix. I discovered afterwards that he’d no intention of carrying her items into Phoenix. They moved to L.A.. Her items were saved there. We left many calls hoping to discover in which the furniture was and why it was not delivered at the 5-7 day deadline we had been awarded. We never got a return call. When her things eventually came was by a motorist from a completely different business, MCI. Thank good for him along with his helper. Just about any piece of furniture has been ruined. Mother was only devistated. These guys were so understanding and kind. They did their very best to soften the blow by providing her their primary office’s telephone number to help her receive the claim forms she desired. The harm wasn’t due to injury, and that’s what the insurance is for. It had been due to negligent handling. Veneer gouged off, finishes eliminated by tape. Deep gouges and scrapes on virtually every bit of furniture. Worse yet, we discovered that the piano was saved on its side. Again the driver saved the day. He refused to allow them load it on his truck which manner. What he was not able to prevent has been them loading another thick bit in addition to the chest freezer then topping it along with other significant boxes. The best caved in and won’t maintain a seal. The majority of the furniture ruined is so bad that it might need to be revived. Refinishing isn’t an alternative.

Employing this business is taking a massive chance that your items will be broken beyond repair. These people absolutely don’t care what they do to your cherished items. The piano that they scraped, and broke a bit on was the very first bit of furniture my father ever bought her, 6months when they married in 1953. Over those many years we proceeded that violin a lot of times to count rather than scratched it. Dad is now gone, so it’s valued more than ever before. The folks at Lion promised to look after it. This was just another lie. Please, avoid this provider.

    Long-distance move from California
    SCAM

On August 10th, 2010 I hired assistance from Lion Transportation Inc. to transfer my family products from California to North Dakota. The scheduled delivery date was August 28th, 2010. Contractually they’ve around 30 business days for shipping my products. A little prior to the 28th that I started to telephone Lion Transportation Inc. to ask about the shipping, with no success. In the time of this writing it’s been 3 months since the 28th. I haven’t got any contact in the firm whether it’s by telephone (3 distinct contact telephone numbers), by email (two distinct email address), nor by mail (USPS at two different mailing addresses). The only contact info I got out of them was that the two telephone numbers from their site. To acquire the remainder of the contact info I needed to scour the world wide web to retrieve form others that they had lousy (and bad is a very broadly used term) company practices with. This provider isn’t a GOOD. They’ll keep you thing and you’ll never find them again. Before you employ a business out of California you ought to telephone the Department of Consumer Affairs (www.dca.ca.gov). Don’t use this business to move some of you household products or some additional product. If I’d done my homework I still wouldn’t be at the situation I’m in now. They currently still have my things and won’t contact me nor answer any moment I attempt to get hold of them. THIS IS A SCAM/RIP-OFF Firm. Hope this helps anybody else prevent the problem that I’m presently in.

    Long-distance move from California
    THIS IS A SCAM

To start with, please check out their site where there’s an image in the header which states they’re a licensed BBB company. Then click on the picture, and find out that they really ARE NOT. This firm seemed honest and liable before my deposit became non. Then, they didn’t answer their telephone calls during ordinary business hours, nor did they react to email. Even the”movers” appeared late in a Budget truck also, while seeming professional, immediately pulled the era old bait and switch rooking me from double the quote. Nearly two weeks after and my spouse and I have zero idea where our material is. Despite countless phone calls, we’ve just ONCE managed to get hold of somebody called”Sydney” (none of those workers really go by their actual names) who informed me that her”manager” would phone me back afterwards. As soon as I expressed that I thought this was true, she advised me to believe her because she had been an”woman of the sentence.” Guess what? Nobody called us. Lion Transportation, Inc. is breaking the law rather than maintaining an open line of communication with their customers, which at the very least is the reason to prevent this”business” such as the plague. The only way that you’ll ever hear from them would be if you *67 your amount allow it to ring 10 times. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE FRAUDULENT, as is each other”positive” review I have seen for this particular business. These individuals they refer to don’t exist!

    Meanwhile, wish us luck…

    Long-distance move from California
Lion Transportation? More like Lin' Transportation. SCAM ARTISTS.

The support of the provider is beyond dreadful. BEYOND. They’re absolute scam artists. They do not even deserve a 1 superstar and in actuality, I wish that I can donate them unwanted celebrities. If you are considering utilizing Lion Transportation, please see my entire story so I can possibly help save YOU the hardship my spouse and I’m now enduring. We investigated a whole lot of moving companies to get a cross country go at the end of August, and also of all the moderately priced choices, we travelled with Lion Transportation, Inc. since their customer support was so excellent. We never had an issue reaching”Jesse” and that she was consistently beneficial in attempting to answer our questions regarding the transfer. Their quote was not the best person we obtained, but we proceeded together since we trusted them and appreciated the fact that we can get in contact with them easily. What a mistake! We gave Lion our residue and scheduled our relocation. Lion was assumed to get in touch with us 24 hours until our transfer date, and never ever did. We phoned them several times during business hours daily no 1 EVER responded. Unexpectedly”Jesse” who’d been so useful before we had been customers, was incommunicado. Hmm… Lion was designed to appear between 2-4 pm on a Saturday, and if we had not learned from them we began considering alternative plans. Uhaul? Sell our items? Employ a different firm for $$$? So you can imagine our relief when, in 3:55, the motorist Avi (who also went by”Michael” since it is”easier to announce”) now called us to tell us they would be late. While we have to happen to be disappointed that already, the support out of Lion was deteriorating at a fast pace, we were simply relieved that they were planning to appear. They showed up at around 6 pm and started to move our belongings to the Budget van that they leased (when they inform you THEIR drivers will be the people who can move your possessions, PLEASE do not think them — it really is a lie). Needless to say, the quote was WAY off, and we all ended up spending nearly two times as far for our movement. But, that is really not the issue. It is not unusual for moving businesses to offer low quotes to obtain an person’s company, and study has even shown that folks are bad at estimating things such as how much material they’ve, so I am sure we’re equally to blame for believing we just had 35 boxes of things (we’d more then that). The actual issue is that Lion has ever had our things to get a week and a half an hour, and we have not heard anything out of them in spite of the fact that they’re legally bound to maintain an open line of communication with their clients. We have tried phoning their principal office, nobody ever picks up except for a time after”Sidney” replied and told us she’d no clue what was happening with our belongings although her”manager” would phone us and we ought to consider her because she is a”woman of her sentence” (surprise surprise, nobody called us). We have tried phoning their federal lineup, nobody selects. We have tried phoning our foreman, and that dismisses our calls before we conceal the amount, then picks up simply to provide us the runaround about the way he does not understand where our substance is, he is hurt, he’ll get in contact with them etc.. Unfortunately, he never makes good on his own promise to provide us advice, and now refuses to pick up his telephone, also. In actuality, the sole”communicating” we have had with this provider is through our bank statement, that showed us that they cashed our 65% repayment test. On the basis, Lion! This behaviour is prohibited in line with this Movers’ All Rights pamphlet Lion gave us, so it is very strange and unsettling. It has turned into a nightmare to not have the ability to get in contact with the folks who possess all of your earthly possessions. If I could return in time, I would smack myself along with my husband for moving with Lion to our transfer and say”No, fools! Do not do it! This really is among the greatest mistakes of your own life!!!” But before they construct a time travel machine, I’ll pay for cautiony’all.

Lion was AWFUL because they arrived and took our things. In actuality, we are gotten in touch with a whole lot of different people they have cheated and are searching for out they are scamming a person’s Nana. Yeah, Lyin Transportation would be the sort of scum of this earth which can scam SOMEONE’S NANA.

Please, do NOT utilize Lion Transportation. THEY ARE THE WORST.
