    Great journey

I only need to say you folks that my transfer using Lightning Van Lines is by far my very best experience. This expert inspector supplied us advanced services and superior customer services. It made my shifting easy and worry free at unbelievably reasonable price. I am quite grateful to the four team members that helped with my movement.

    Lost my bed!

The pick-up was nice and they kept my ietms in storage prior to sending to my new address.

Upon shipping they ended up dropping my bed framework that cost $300. They’re just prepared to provide me $100 since their Liability insureance pays to get $.60 each pound. That is beyond frustrating because they also aren’t factoring in the $50 delivery fee and also the time that it takes for me to build the mattress.

Once they have your money do not anticipate them to return your emails or calls.

    Do not recommend them whatsoever.

    Easy and smooth

My daughter has 3 infants and she had a fantastic mover. I contacted Lightning and that I advised my movement after checking with the Better Business Bureau. I rely on these and they informed me how highly rated Lightning is. They were perfect. I can’t say enough great things about these. What an effortless movement that this became. Thank you so much Lightning.

    WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE

This business ought to be shut down. They’re unethical, dishonest and don’t have any respect at all for their clients possessions or lifestyles. They persuaded me to engage them with lies about horizontal rates, lies in the caliber of the movers, is determined by their backround and staffing and lies concerning scheduling.  Nothing that they guaranteed me occurred. We all seen all day was cluttered uncaring movers who didnt speak any english, a rather tough to manage supervisor, costs that escalated beyond whatever fair and impolite uncaring personnell. Instead, they”lost” several precious things, my LCD TV And Pc and attempted to pretend it didnt occur completely when I whined. I’ve filed complaints with all the government entities and found they’re being researched and were also fined 25,000.00 at 2011 for holding client shipments hostage!  Don’t Use LIGHTNING YOU’LL BE SORRY!

    Deposit Return

This provider is useless, unethical, scamming, impolite and a bit of crap! Don’t use them. They are deposit return policy is a direct refund if you change your thoughts. I changed mine over a month ago, they still haven’t refunded me. They just have two trucks, they don’t have great reviews with government agencies either. Tim Rutherford (earnings ) and Emerson (estimator) are equally rude and aggressive and try to frighten people. I don’t wish to consider what could have happened should I’ve chosen them!

    Woud use them again

They gave me an outstanding down price. I read some shifting guides around the DOTs site and assessed movebuddha.com to begin my hunt and found these men. Lightning did a wonderful job and remained true to his or her own price. They had been also a day late to the rescue but there certainly were lots of weather problems in the time so that it had been anticipated. Long distance moving surely isn’t fun but when I needed to do it again I’d use these guys. “Take the opportunity to discover honest individuals.”

    Beware of LARGE charges

Rough encounter with Lightning Van Lines rather than over yet.  They overbid the occupation saying that it could be corrected to real size.  Very hard to have corrected as it was 25 percent less then bid at.  We needed to utilize their storage because of a delay of locating a permenant home.  Storage prices were raised 30% using a 6 week notice.  It moved from $500/mo to currently $650/month.   Their announcement that it resulted from their”Overhead” prices going up.  Who’s overhead costs that rise by 30 percent????   Bad bookkeeping and fiscal management.  They have been competative and now the fees keep adding up after we’ve been dedicated to them and not able to escape the problem easily. We might have our things moved and then pay movers twice with double the dangers just because of their LARGE growth in costs.  Do not wait for this to be done and over with and they eventually become only a painful portion of the past.  Beware and watch them carefully.

    Thieves

Thieves!!! My two little boys accidentally forgot their pockets in their nightstands prior to our move out of Ontario, California to Illinois. My boys had stored their money in their birthday and Christmas to purchase themselves a brand new video game program.   My earliest had $312 and my youngest had $184. My boy had stayed the night in their grandma’s not to be in the manner of the movers so my husband did not think to eliminate the pockets. The movers were the only individuals at our home and they transferred everything and held our possessions until it had been sent in Illinois. Instantly with the movers at our house I started the nightstands since I was anxious about my children’s pockets and figure what my old kid’s Spiderman wallet had been totally gone and my old son’s pocket had just two crumpled up $1 dollar bills inside. I told the movers plus they called their manager, Ethan. Ethan proceeded to inform me that we ought to have advised them while it had been in storage regarding the pockets. In addition, he told me that they have not had a issue with employee theft since they pay their workers well. I told him they’ve now! I clarified that clearly we didn’t understand at the point that somebody had stolen it from inside their own company. He advised me to get customer support, which was a joke! Then the mover’s didn’t need to unwrap things so that they left my jewellery armoire wrapped up. The following day I started it and guess what more things stolen. My husband was the only one house when they wrapped up that I was in the bank obtaining a cashiers check to cover the inspector’s.   They stole my black hills gold class ring, a little gold chain with a Three heart pink charm along with a golden cross charm.   I’ve registered a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and so far all I’ve obtained is an answer to the BBB from Lightning Van Lines which they Aren’t responsible for stolen money or jewellery throughout their movements.   Outrageous! They also struck a framed piece of artwork, 3 classic (1800’s) wine glasses, a candle holder and a few martini glasses. I anticipated any breakage on a cross country move but not anticipated for my kids to become victimized. I need them reimbursed. I truly don’t care about the rest. I’ve educated my kids well and they worked hard to conserve their cash.   I really don’t need them to become tainted for life as someone in this business is a criminal. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! LISTEN TO All the COMPLAINTS!! I will sue them in tiny claims court if they don’t cure this as they need to because I will reiterate for my kids to stand up for themselves. Never allow a person to victimize you.

    WONDERFUL CREW!

I just can’t feel the negative narrative about the cash and gems. I move a good deal more than just a couple of hundred bucks and a class ring together and all of my cash, gems, such as diamonds rubies and emeralds showed up just fine. My cash was in many areas, such as the children piggy banks along with also my change jar. All undamaged on arrival. I had a fantastic moving encounter with Lightning and love to see these reflected any manner besides a topnotch moving firm. I intend to use them in my worker moves from today on.

Don't do business with Lightning Vanlines

1 star score is a lot!!!! Please, don’t conduct business with lightning Vanlines. I had a nearly two year ordeal together throughout my transfer away from Los Angeles to Ohio at 2011. It began in the day that they came to pick up my furniture at an U-Haul Truck, using a rude moving manager along with a moving team which didn’t speak English. They had been so bad that I requested them to depart and that I proceed to inquire the principal office to get a refund in my own deposit and first shifting charges, nevertheless Lightning refused to provide me a refund. Therefore I had no option except to let them transfer me into Ohio. Once I came at Ohio, Lightning gave me exactly the incorrect shipping date and that I had been inaccessible for delivery since I was outside of town.  Lightning promised me that”it wasn’t an issue that they overlooked me since they’d put my furniture in storage in a public storage facility over two kilometers away from my house and that they might return at anytime to send my furniture once I was accessible.”

Obviously this wasn’t accurate, and after many unsuccessful attempts to send my furniture by Lightning, eventually, I suggested to them to”let me cover them the rest for my own transfer and also let me pick up my furniture out of the public storage centre that they promised to have saved my furniture.” Additionally, I offered to sign a waiver form releasing them of some liability for damage or lost furniture. Lightning denied saying that”they needed to send my furniture since they’d their pads as well as other moving related stuff stored together with my furniture.” They then included within a $1000.00 in storage charges and required that”I cover the charges in full before they’d finish my transfer. “Later on I discovered that my furniture was still in California all this time and this was in January 2013 once I received that the Department of Transportation involved once I had been known to them by Move Rescue. Later, I submitted innumerable files to DOT in my many efforts to solve my dispute with Lightning, also during research I discovered that”DOT had researched Lightning previously for poor practices and because of this they had been fined. DOT ordered Lightning Van Lines to launch my furniture later reviewing all of my files, and decided that lightning had behaved inappropriately. Lightning consented to launch my furniture nevertheless they refused to send them and they needed that”I return for their principal centre in Northern California and pickup my furniture in person.” I contacted Move Rescue again who provided to transfer my furniture to Ohio free of charge with the exception of paying for the decrating charges into this moving company they had been using to send my own furniture. When the moving firm came at lightning’s most important centre to pick up my furniture Lightning Van Lines informed”them that my furniture wasn’t any more in California and that they transferred it to their own center in Nevada for some unexplained reason” So I needed to buy DOT involved again, and after exploring again, DOT told me that”Lightning didn’t desire Move Rescue to pickup my furniture since they didn’t need the negative PR connected with a rescued transfer. “So reluctantly consented to send my furniture plus they found any equilibrium in my accounts for example their fake storage charges.

So we’re now in March 2013 and I’d replaced nearly all of my furniture and other possessions, and but I was still involved with the procedure on principle alone. Finally, Lightning Vanlines gave me a shipping date and over the day prior to the specified delivery date; I got an upset and strange voice email from Cheryl stating she”was disappointed in me since the movers where out my house to send my furniture although I was not home once again”. I phoned Cheryl back that of course didn’t reply and at my own VM I  told me”that there wasn’t any shipping truck out my house”, and after I obtained DOT involved once again;I had been informed by these”that the drivers at which wrongly trying to send my furniture into a house in another portion of Ohio.” The drivers came the following day and they had been nice and nevertheless they reassembled a number of my bits incorrect, and many of my things were missing like a little dining room table, my pricey stand for my own flat screen television, many boxes of dvd’s, a microwave, and many boxes of clothes and the foundation to my apartment screen.I instantly contacted Lightning and informed them about my lost things, and I filed the paper work to get your missing things. They said that”my desk was at Chicago and they’d send it for me in a week, plus they’d process my claim to the other lost things. Within a month later after whining back to DOT turbo send my desk through Fed-X without even awarded into me detect. I come home from work one evening and that there was this enormous box sitting on my front porch. As of the writing Lightning hasn’t issued a refund or found my other lost things. Additionally the so phone owner resides in Israel.

Do NOT hire Lightning Van Lines

A year later we’re still finding Issues with our movement last summer with Lightning Van Lines.   They stole private property, ruined so a Lot of our precious things, and we still have yet to Find numerous boxes.   The motorist encouraged us to simply”sign off” on the stock record upon unloading things so that we did not have to Await them to name and identify for every single item.   Their truck broke down TWICE the day of pickup.   In their way to our new home, they broke down again.   THeir driver uttered our ladder (whined to our face which it had been his) and if we contacted direction, he returned it with attitude!   Many things of value not made it into our Property.   THey also brightens up the cost upon delivery.   HATED them!   And we thought we’d vetted well!   Be warned!
