I got a call from Ben informing me that my seat was found in Caqlifornia.  He said he’d ship it fed-x the following day and it might arrive in 10 days. 12 days after I phoned Ben and he informed me that the boogie man stole it and for me to not phone Budget or even Zigg,y the proprietor of LD since he was likely to discover it.  For this day, I haven’t got my seat nor reimbursement for the reduction.   I’m heartbroken, mad as hell and I’m in the process of submitting a grand theft law suit against this firm. This is the worst experience I’ve ever dealt with by a firm.  The delivery time and date was overdue.   Don’t upgrade us or return our telephone calls.  When they eventually came the driver caught my husband arm 3 times and told him he owed him dinner.  Furniture has been broken, and they were rather rude.  We add a claim for a broken washer, ripped leather couch, damage to a classic 1939 vest plus they desired to provide us 48.00 for your damages.  They billed my credit card with no authorization form filled out or signed by me personally for more than that which was verbally agreed.  Worst business ever!

Do not deal with LD Storage and Moving – do not take action.
Drivers send and put king bed from sterile gutter leaning against off and trailer loads the remainder of my possessions taking roughly 45 minutes. Take my bed in and put it on window springs and then also make their departure. I move in to earn mattress and bed is soaking wet, but drivers state nothing regarding water damage. I shoot photos and get LD Transferring by telephone, then email with pictures attached, so I get claim form, fill it out and then send it all in. More then 40 weeks following my claim was registered, they provide me $60. I clarify gutter water has been run away from driveway ways and lawns which have spilled gas, engine coolant, grass killer, fertilizers, insecticides and pesticides and also are known germs and that I have obtained a new mattress along with the infected mattress is sitting at garage.
These obtuse people indicated cleaning the mattress, and complete disregard to their clients health. I Inform them a Cal King Simmons Beautyrest is a $ 1,449 replacement price. They react”$60 bucks is everything you are entitled to by law”. I reply that I did buy insurance, their answer, you must have bought the excess insurance and finish all communications. I shall post this as frequently as I could and forth as many webpages as a warning to other customers NOT to conduct business using LD Moving.

SCAM! Bait and switch! I’ve got a 10 x 10 storage locker. I have not seen it in 6 weeks and did not have an specific amount of boxes. Sarah said that it would most likely fit in the tiniest dimensions according to the”cubic feet” of a 10 x 10 locker. I said we will lets move the next size up only to be secure. She explained it was not mandatory but thats exactly what we scheduled. She then stated”worst case situation and you want even greater than this, which is improbable. Complete cost will probably be $1500 or 1600. Complete Worst case situation.”

They get out here and need 1900. Twice what my quote was! Far over the”worst case situation.” The driver was fine but I informed him that this was fairly crappy and appeared like a bait and switch. I advised him to call Sarah and it looked like she/the firm was filled with it about the first quote but we had to figure out this. I expected her to return and return to the $1500-1600 she’d quoted for worst case situation.

They are only brokers and they’ll cause you to want you loaded each thing to a rental truck by hand. Don’t have a chance with those movers. Locate a plumber who possesses thier own trucks and testimonials nicely. I attempted to save a bit of cash and also learned a difficult lesson due to LD Moving and Storage.

We moved from California to Florida with LD Moving and Storage, and also the schedule for its delivery of things was unacceptable.  On the telephone once we made the residue we were informed by Ally Stein that our things will arrive in a few times as us because we had been carrying a 10 day road trip.  Our favorite delivery date was 8/27, and we didn’t hear from the firm till 9/5 if they gave us a 4 day shipping window of 9/7 into 9/10.  When those days passed and came and we obtained no advice from the motorist, we predicted and were awarded an upgraded delivery window of 9/13 into 9/15.  On 9/14, 19 days following our shipping date and a complete month later pickup, our things were sent.  Turns out, Ally whined concerning the dates, however the contract we signed up (that says delivery can happen up to 30 business days following the shipping date) prevents us from accepting any legal actions.  Ally should have advised us that the typical shipping period for less than full truck loads is measured in few months, not days.  If we had some thought about the time that it would take to receive our things we’d have paid extra to choose another company or simply driven the truck ourselves. 

When the moving truck did arrive in our new flat, it was a 75′ truck.  The contract specified that a 44′-53′ truck, but exactly what it meant to say was 44′-53′ trailer attached to a truck.  We didn’t have a clue before the morning until it came that we’d have to lease a truck and deal with the cross loading of all our items.  On a Sunday.  We ended up accepting delivery for outside things at the goodwill parking lot using a leased 14′ U-Haul to prevent the $400 extra fee it’d cost to have the motorist leasing a truck and also cross load our belongings.  The driver was really pleasant and helped us out.    

When our items came, many of these were bent, crushed, and ruined.  Though it’s not stated in their arrangement, LD Moving and Storage won’t take responsibility for any thing that the owner packaged in a box (even when the box has been crushed) or some other product made from pressboard (that can be most furniture from Ikea, and sadly, our dresser).  Though we paid the moving business to place blankets around all our items and package them well, if they have been doing it wrong they Aren’t responsible for the resulting harm.   In addition you Don’t Have Any legal status unless the harm is noticed if you take delivery to the product listing, and much of the harm to the belongings was masked by shrink wrapping and packaging take.    

I hope this helps some very first time movers!  Next time I move, I’m going with a Business that will Let Me read the contract before the day of the transfer, Set the Shipping range from the contract, and really take responsibility for their own services.

This firm stole a few high priced items.   This business is a scam.   They called me to some false claims section and then depended on a ridiculous amount.   I now forced to find legal representation to Avoid this company from damaging other Men and Women.   By all means don’t use this business when looking for a mover.   They’re dreadful folks who prefer to make the most of households which must move quickly just like we did.

They packed and smashed my television and provided me $84 as a refund. In addition they came 3 days later than the window. Then came 2 hours late the afternoon of. AND THEN they just had one individual to unload my things. I’ve heavy furniture that can’t be carried by just 1 individual. I needed to hire my own folks to unload the truck and they won’t realize that and giving me no reduction or refund about the shipping. They were all WRONG and I am rather upset that I simply didn’t move everything myself!!!

LD Moving & Storage is incredibly unprofessional, disrespectful, and undependable. I initially picked them for my own cross-country movement, since the quotation appeared fair and that I thought that the strain of waiting a couple weeks to my furniture could be less than that of needing to buy new furniture. This wasn’t the situation, mainly because of the way the company treated me during the procedure. The organization’s lack of communication, manipulative behaviour, and failure to take responsibility for some problems that arose would be the reasons why I had such a dreadful experience.

The worst encounter in existence!!! Star relocation offered a binding cost of 1500. LD arrived at my house and lent us around $700 more! They billed whatever fee they can and maximized it. They understand folks will be the most vulnerable when they’re moving cross country and they take full advantage of this. They made me depart a $300 motorcycle that has been INCLUDED in my quotation since they attempted to charge me for it again. They whined about the cubic feet, they whined about when they’d be bringing it and they left it MY task to need to reach out into a driver for the business that I didn’t HIRE! It isn’t my duty to play telephone tag with YOUR drivers. The motorist screened calls and prevented me as far as he would since he knew that he lied to me personally TWICE concerning my delivery period. It moved from 3pm now to 7am tomorrow. The motorist blocked my telephone number but once I facetimed him he answered. I know people in high positions and it will take very long for me to receive his face in addition to the title of the company on the market.

Update: they snapped that our 1000 California king tufted wingback eyebrow leg in half and a person emailed me afterwards speaking to CS stating to get estimates in order that they could fix it but then somebody by your claims dept sent an email saying they’d just pay .60 per pounds which is approximately $22! After going through each and every thing I’d and quickening the dimensions I moved down to 2.8k. At the stage I had been feeling as though that they got around on me but I was still ok because all of the additional moving companies desired 4K+. So I simply shook off that.

Fast forward into the fall off. He informed me they were pushing this truck FROM THE WAREHOUSE. There wasn’t a move of our things so all of this semi automatic crap was [EDIT] to at least $500 out of us.

Should you refuse to pay the extortion prices to receive your items and wait till Monday to dispute it, then they’re ALL aside from this scam so that they won’t side with you, you are still going to must pay the extortion prices for your items and then you’ll be billed an $800 REDELIVERY FEE in addition to all of that.

ZERO STARS!!! DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!! Where can I begin! They transferred us out of Cali. to Colorado. When they came to load the vehicle among those employees replicas of beer! They didn’t package the truch nicely as when it came on Christmas afternoon we where stunned to visit that my husbands bike under big heavy seats & pubs, naturally there had been damage to the bike. As soon as I hired them they swore that the bike wouldn’t be put under anything significant. We filed a claim with their insurer (back in February). We have a letter stating they’d provide us 35. . .hahaha actually!!? Then where advised they just pay .35 pennies per pound. . Well I suppose that they didnt do the math! .35 pennies a pound to get a 900llbs???? We’re still battling with the L D D moving and also their ridiculas insurer!! Additionally they dropped two boxes of my favorites clothes and ruined paintings!
