We started a local relocation, but ended up leasing on a temporary foundation and entrusting our private items with this storage and moving firm being assured that what could be safely stored, first on a truck and later moved into a”vault”. When the personal objects were transferred to our new house, many things were lost, most clearly two big display (43 and 60″) t,versus and 2 totem poles in addition to several things broken in spite of the fact that they were individually wrapped and in boxes labeled”Fragile”. The broken objects could only have happened because of carelessness or intention. We reported that the missing things on the shipping bill, and followed up with several calls and e-mails into the moving business. Their worker was dismissive and said that they had been too busy to tackle this matter and that they”had already discussed this with us”. The owners later denied any liability whatsoever for lost, stolen, or broken objects, and have, in effect accused us of creating the massive display t.v.s (the priciest things left in their ownership ) although they delivered the consumers’ guides we had in storage plus we’ve got a statement showing purchase.
