    Band of Thieves

This”business” is a group of thieves and medication addicts. They will estimate you reduced, then after everything is about the vehicle will cost you twice as much.

Moreover, their automobile drivers will probably last to extort you to get much more cash and if you do not pay instantly they’ll push with whatever you have. If you’re smart enough to receive their license plate number, it is possible to call the authorities and have the authorities help you receive back your items.

When you attempt to report on the event to your company, they’ll avoid your requirements and also inform you that the one person who can cope with it’s from this office.Do yourself a favor and take a look at any plumber you may be contemplating using the FMCSA.

    F rating with BBB

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! Don’t use this organization. Load was picked up on 12/23/15 and NEVER caused it for it’s final destination. Furniture has been broken. Continuous is based on David. Actually, following two weeks that the motorist texted me and advised me to not think anything in the workplace as” I told you at the beginning that the sole person will be truthful with you, will probably be me.”

Load was abandoned by KLM in an unsecure storage space. We went and picked up the load after 30+ days of no action. Have asked a refund because the business never delivered it. It is a nightmare dealing with those men. Spare yourself the frustration and pain. I’m sorry for the others who had things at the exact same storage unit. They deserve a zero rating, and so I gave them a one.

Shame on me for not doing more research on those men. BBB evaluation is an”F”. I registered a complaint throughout the Better Business Bureau and after several attempts, KLM never responded back into the BBB.

    Mover Beware!!

Boy was I make the most of in my own move. I obtained a quotation for your own company to package and go my 3 bedroom home. BOB gave me an estimate for about $3182.22. A date has been established for the movers to pack and come. When they came they began packing my possessions. They had been about one hour to the packaging process once the packer stated your quotation was reduced. Now know they’re in the center packaging and the man says it will cost you around 3 times that which you had been quoted. What do you need me to perform? I had no option since my transfer has been intended for a particular time they chose to pack. They only through items in boxes, needed to be advised to shoot the images off the walls, didn’t indicate what area the boxes were out of, and didn’t wrap the materials, fill out the boxes and also package empty boxes. They tore off the hinges from the sewing machine table, multiple boxes torn, and many items were water damaged. I’m still attempting to locate my possessions. I attempted to telephone the organization and needed to leave an opinion. I’m still waiting to hear from these. I’ve produced 5 moves around state and this is undoubtedly the worst one. A transfer that has been offered at $3182 ended up costing me around $10,000. They do not care for you or your possessions. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

    Don't use them

I used these to move out of California to Arizona, 716 milesper hour
The original quotation from Bob was 4200, according to quote of their furniture items. The arrangement was that they will find the actual burden of my things, show me tickets out of the scale, and also I’ll cover $0.36 per pound. I recognized that. That has been, I believed, really professional and much better than paying each quotes.
The very first driver came without a ticket in the scale to reveal the burden of the empty truck! He wished to quote everything by himself! I let him undergo all of the things after which he said it’ll cost me 7800??? I denied and shipped him move with no own load.
Shortly after a supervisor Jeff called me and started promising to fix all of misunderstanding. I believed that was honest, recognized it and canceled other bargains I started earning at the mean time.
The next motorist comes and attracts the ticket in the scale. This was anticipated and that I was happy, believing that all is great now. . .until the shipping period arrived.
For days I could not get the truck coming date in the KLM workplace, even though they promised to phone me back”shortly” each moment. They never called!!
Finally I get called a day at the day that the truck will probably be in my destination at 6:00 AM the following day. Ok, I’m ok with all that simply to receive my home.
On the other hand, the new driver, along with another truck, came without a second ticket in the scale. So I had been asked to cover in full the first quote in money!!?? Or no shipping. I could not be cornered over that. I paid since they desired.
I’ll also state that by a friendly person (can not disclose that it was) explained what was the burden of my loved ones, and it had been greater than 1000LB significantly less than the quote. They overcharged me to get over $500!

    Never apply these burglars.

    Don't hire this company

    DATE OF MOVE: MARCH 2016
MOVING COMPANY: KLM VANLINES, 9250 Independence Ave, Chatsworth, CA 91311

DO NOT HIRE THIS MVOING COMPANY!!!!

Massive DISCONNECT BETWEEN THE SALES STAFF, THE MOVERS/PACKERS, THE DISPATCH OFFICE, AND THE MOVERS/UNLOADERS.
From what I could tell, the sales rep has little to no communication with any of their true business of the business. The following represents this lack of communication
    1. In email and telephone conversations with the sales agent, I had been led to feel that my things could be picked up throughout the next day of this two-day window for item pickup. Based on that advice, I made airplane reservations to leave my house the day following this second evening of this two-day window. Nevertheless, not only did they return to the first day of the two-day window, however it was early morning on that day. We needed to get up at 5 am to be prepared for them. And afterward, we needed to spend two nights at a hotel instead of you, that was an unanticipated expense and not so pleasant.
    2. I invested quite a little time on the telephone and in email with all the sales representative talking each one of those items which could be transferred and a fantastic estimate of the burden. I understand the moving quote was a quote, but I did not anticipate that the transfer will cost more than three times as far as the quote. That’s unacceptable, particularly because there was nothing greater than what was on the first record.
    3. Before the transfer, I emailed the sales representative concerning how big the delivery truck (because I had been concerned about a huge truck fitting to the drive of my new residence and when the truck doesn’t meet in the driveway, they cost an additional #300); the sales agent assured me that it would be 26 feet. On the other hand, the individual at dispatch stated she didn’t have a clue why the sales representative could state that because they never use that little a truck Luckily, the massive truck did match in the driveway and I did not need to spend an additional $300 but the vital issue is that I would not have learned about it when I had not bugged the shipment person many times.
    4. The men who loaded and packed the things said that they believed the truck could reach WA from the Tuesday after the Thursday where they loaded it. The sales agent had also told me that the things would probably arrive within a week. Consequently, I had the movers package all clothes except for a very few products.
As soon as I called shipment the subsequent Tuesday, nevertheless, they stated that the massive truck (to the ite3ms were loaded) hadn’t even left LA yet! At that stage, I had been residing in an embarrassing guest suite with just a little bag of possessions. If we’d understood that it would take so long, we’d have packed more stuff. And we’d have made sure everybody involved had the appropriate details!
    5. The sales agent never explained that my things goes to LA, get unloaded, sit there for quite a few days, and then acquire re-loaded. This omission seems tomb. What is more, all that moving off and on trucks appears in ensure some harm, particularly to delicate products.

THE DISPATCH OFFICE DISPLAYED VERY POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS
I phoned the dispatch office at least one time per day to request a estimated time of arrival of the things. This is Only a Brief list of those calls along with their lack of reaction:
    1. The first couple of times I called, they said they’d figure out this info and phone me back. They never did call me back.
    2. 1 time once I called, they said the products were loaded onto a truck and they’d call me with all the motorist’s name. They never did call me back.
    3. The following day once I called, they said the products weren’t really loaded and they would not be loaded for at least a couple of days.
    4. Next time I called, he said that the motorist’s phone wasn’t working, but that he would call me when it had been functioning. He never called.
    5. When a driver eventually called to say that the truck was loaded, he gave me just a two-day window to match him on delivery, and it only happened that I had been outside of town. Luckily, a relative could meet him.

A Number of the ITEMS WERE POORLY PACKED AND DAMAGED AND/OR COMPLETELY DESTROYED.

The things (especially the delicate ones) were badly packaged (no bubble wrap utilized whatsoever ). A number of them arrived broken or damaged. I am presently awaiting a claims adjustment, however the private business may take as long as 3 weeks to repay.

They doubled the quote and won't give us our belongings

This is actually the worst moving company on the market. Tired of being lied to, ripped off, treated rudely by”manager” talking foreign language you can’t know and then struggle for your possessions starting the day they don’t appear when 5he stated they’d. We predicted. They stated regrettably, we can’t get it there, it is going to be almost two weeks from the time we get it. They stated that they create California -Washington runs twice per week. Nevertheless, they picked us up in Bay Area and took it back to Los Angeles in which it sits. We sleep on the ground, a 96 year-old mum, a 69 year-old cancer patient, along with a 64 year-old handicapped girl. No thanks. Shame on you KLM. Some family company! What type of family? Mafia family? Even made my sick husband devote more cash on pickup compared to contract said 55 percent vs 1/2:of equilibrium. So now they’ve about 90 percent of the payment. What’s their incentive to deliver us our items? Bad men and women. All of these however, the loaders and packers that were new-hires in training. Signed, Jeanette Wilcox

Inferior firm. We we obtained our stuff late naturally we were overlooking our mattress frames, they stole a gun that they were not even suppose to transfer however, the driver said they would over look that. My pampered chef cookware has been busted and they went through all of my boxes. I understand this since they employed brown tape and mi e has been apparent. In addition, one of there employees wife beater shirts was in one of my boxes. Nobody in my family wears these sorts of tops. That is exactly what I’ve found thus far. They also billed more which we were also quoted. The main point is that they are thiefs. Do not use this organization. It took them 6 days to go 155 milesper hour They load take everything to there wearhouse unload in order that they could go through your things and choose what they need then reload and send. Noway to do business in my view!

    Extortionists, Liars, cheats, etc

The initial quote of $.55 pennies per pound wasn’t honored. We were really charged $37.58 per thing that has been loaded onto the vehicle. As an instance, my dining table plus 4 chairs really became 9 bits, costing at $338.22. We’ve contacted the company workplace, shipping and anybody else we could speak to on multiple occasions and they won’t reply to our orders. We’ve since put a stop payment on the test of $5500.00 that people had been needed to compose for 60 percent of the quote. I’ve received threatening text messages in the motorist”BEN” saying they’d flip me over into the legal section , they were no more moving us, they wouldn’t save our things and the previous text I purchased was”We’re on our way to Santa Maria to set your things back in your property.” We’ve got picture proof that they weren’t there. But when I phoned the shipment and talked to”Carolina” she informed me they had been there in the house unloading all our belongings that we no longer lived at because we had been driving to Connecticut.

    Horrible experience KlM VANLINES

About March 14,2016 I filed an online petition for a moving quote to maneuver my daughter out of Bowling Green, OH. Into Pittsburgh, PA.. KLMVanlines, also referred to as Moving and Storage, representative Dave reacted by telephone. He offered me a first cost of $1390.79. To procure that cost I needed to make a deposit of $390.79. Later that afternoon I called him back to bring a few things to the transfer and include another pickup place in Sidney, OH. That raised the cost to $1798.20 and demanded another deposit of $147.41. I had a number of discussions with Dave involving 3/14/16 along with 4/27/16 to affirm that the service particulars. The dates that they gave me for pickup must be either 4/27/16 or even 4/28/16. Their dispatch centre was supposed to phone me the day before pickup to offer me a time period to his or her birth. I didn’t hear from them on 4/26 in order on 4/27 I phoned to learn about the pickup occasions. Dave advised me to call the dispatch centre in 844-384-3872. I had a few discussions with the shipment centre on 4/27. They wished to push back the pickup into 4/29 and I said alright but after talking with my daughter phoned them back and said no, which won’t operate. The contract had been for 4/27 or even 4/28 and my daughter needed to be in Pittsburgh about 4/29 to register the rent for the new flat. They finally said they’d pick up at Bowling Green around 4/28 between 4:00 and 6:00pm, and then visit Sidney to pick up the remainder of the stuff. About 4/28 I got a call in the Columbus, OH shipment centre, 614-300-2820, saying that they would pickup at Bowling Green on 4/29 from the afternoon. I again said no that will not function and that the other dispatch centre has stated they’d pick up on 4/28 from the late day. She (at Columbus) stated that wasn’t likely to take place and they’d be there around 4/29. After many telephone calls, all them phoning them since they never returned a call since they stated they’d, they eventually said they’d phone me by 8:00pm eastern time around 4/28 to inform me the time for pickup on 4/29. I arranged to take the afternoon from work to drive to Bowling Green to fulfill them. They never called back. I attempted to reach my own rep, Dave, many times and left messages for him to phone. He never did and still hasn’t to this day. Fearing that they wouldn’t appear I then contacted another firm from Ft. Wayne and they finished the movement. KLMVanlines hasn’t responded to my messages or calls, nor didn’t appear on 4/29. Because they failed to meet their contract I wished to get the deposit sums refunded. I attempted many times to get Dave with no chance. He wouldn’t answer my calls or respond to my messages. About 5/4/16 I called another amount, 818-201-6603, I discovered online for KLMVanlines and talked to Tom who phoned me for his secretary, Caroline, 818-678-9136, that promised me that my refund of $538.20 was about the record to be processed and that I would receive it in 7-10 business days. About 5/16/16 I called her again and she stated it had been processed with these on 5/5/16 and that I need to consult my bank. She stated she’d check in to it on her conclusion and phone me backagain. I haven’t got any calls from their anyone else associated with the business for this season. So as to receive my refund, I contacted the dispute settlement centre of this charge card business. They simply settled the dispute on July 28, 2016 devoting me a complete refund of their fees. The activities and mindset of Klm Vanlines along with their workers were dreadful. This experience caused intense tension and stress not just for myself but also for my spouse and daughter.

"lost" my bed , demanded several hundred more to move

They showed up in my home, took all of my things into the curb, and then demanded $600 more cash to move my things. I had been having dental hygiene following afternoon, under the gun, gave them the cash. Showed up late on delivery, strove to need additional $$,”missing” my large, costly latex mattress- the largest thing I possessed, and yet another huge household item. When I talked with non-Profit Move Rescue, they stated the firm had extended list of customer complaints. DO NOT USE THEM. Have called and emailed about lost things and no reaction. When pickup staff demanded additional $$ COULDNT GET A HOLD OF SALES PERSON.

Poor service, WAY over estimate and won't return calls

Additionally, I spoke with”Bob” that was constantly available UNTIL my charge and have been not able to convince him to phone me back to the previous 3 months! Estimate was approximately $3000 and if the truck had been loaded….it was $8000K!! Tried to find advice from the motorists that said they had been driving SOUTH that night but could maintain La Pine about Saturday….Different movers along with SEMI TRUCK reveals the next Wednesday. Driver shouted at me as HE could not locate the home….did NOT reassemble items which were broken down in the initial home, many legs on precious tables broken, and MANY items scraped, image fell out at the road, found things at the dirt when they left. Tried to phone Bob and ask that a statement of lading….to confirm the further price and also have obtained NO calls backagain. I really don’t understand exactly what to do at this stage.

    Thieves

Similar complaints because the other reviews here… I have a quotation from Out and In Mover who contracted to KLM. I paid a deposit to In and Out and was told I’d require a cashiers check at pick-up moment. KLM arrived. They shot a few pictures, more than doubled the price tag, and wouldn’t require the cashiers check made out to In and Out Mover. I had been flying the following day, so that I signed another test. Halfway through packing my belongings, the”manager” states I want to also cover the”Interstate prices” of $500. It had been my fault for writing the following check to such thieves, but I was worried and needed to receive my things transferred. Things arrived with large gashes in boxes. Table legs have been broken. A wicker seat has been torn. I’m missing an nearly new arsenal full of power tools along with a package comprising a 22 rifle. I received no answer from calling besides they’d look within their warehouse… I would like to check within their house garage! Want a negative star rating with this particular corporation. Can NEVER get a response or return telephone call from In and Out Movers. DO NOT USE EITHER COMPANY!!!

Crooks, lost a couch and damaged multiple pieces of furniture

I had been over charged $1471.60 from KLM van lines. They dropped a $854.55 couch and 4 ottoman legs worth $16.25 for replacement legs. Ruined a ~$110 entertainment centre (unfixable/smashed). Severely damaged a novel shelf worth ~$79.99 +tax and seriously soiled hauled a Tempur-pedic mattress across what seems to be wet asphalt worth $3099.99 +taxation. A total of $5632.38 in reduction and damages ($1461.60 at overcharges, $870.80 in missing products, $3289.98 in broken products ).

Story: On June 20th, 2016 I had been given a quote of $2263.92 to maneuver a furnished 2 bedroom flat. This rate of $2263.92 was established on 5670 pounds at $0.41 per pound given by Dave in KLM van lines (telephone # 1-424-270-0012). When I talked with Dave on June 20th he informed me that the movers could have weigh scale tickets from prior to the truck had been loaded and out of following the truck had been loaded with my possessions and I’d be charged the amount which my possessions weighed multiples by $0.41 per pound. I inquired why the quote demonstrates that a 36″ flat screen T.V. weighs 105 pounds as it clearly doesn’t. Dave responded:”it is simply an estimate that the weight will be dependent on the scale tickets which the driver will accumulate after he loads your possessions. It was also under the arrangement that the charge card which was used to produce the deposit could be billed a 2nd time in pickup and a 3rd period at shipping (1/3 deposit, 1/3 at pickup and 1/3 at shipping ).

On June 25th at approximately 18:30 the movers came in the two bedroom flat with a Business rental truck ~half complete with somebody else’s possessions. The movers instantly started wrap furniture and packaging the truck putting my belonging up against another load they already had on the vehicle.

At approximately 23:30 the movers eventually completed loading the truck and it was time to register for the fee. Currently Cesar (the Agency accountable ) advised me that it’d be $3933.00 rather than the estimated $2263.92. I asked why a lot more and he responded because your possessions took up 1600 cubic feet. I answered I had been given a quote based on fat not cubic feet, do you need you weigh scale tickets? He responded”no we do not weigh the truck and if we did it’d be more expensive.” Given that it had been a Sunday in 23:30 in the day with no manager to call along with the truck already loaded unable to assess the interior of the truck before being loaded since I had been under the impression I was being charged by weight I’d no option but to consent to his own calculations. I said alright charge the credit card on file he stated no I need to get a debit card from you today, a cash or check. So I had no option but to offer him my debit card to the new cost of $1585.00. At the time he also notified me I would need to pay money upon delivery in the sum of $1585.00. Without a option other than to consent or phone the cops I had to concur. I gave him my debit card and was billed $1585.00 and has been advised my possessions would arrive at New Mexico Tuesday, June 28th.

On Monday June 27th that I named the estimator Dave many times and left messages for him to call me back but I never got a response. On Tuesday, June 28th I again called Dave to attempt to find some replies but still no response or reply. I phoned the KLM dispatch 1-844-384-3872 an requested when I should anticipate the shipping they stated that they have 21 days to send the possessions and the driver will call the day before???

This week and the subsequent 2 weeks I chose to call Dave that the estimator daily for answers concerning why I had been billed for cubic feet rather than weight and why did they never have a weigh scale ticket just like I had been advised. Still no answer or response from Dave that the estimator and still no reaction from him up to current date.

For the subsequent 2 months I phoned the KLM van lines shipment attempting to find some answers about why I’m being billed so much over the quote and if my possessions would be sent. They’d always react with the exact same response of”we will have a manager call you this day and the driver will call you the day prior to delivery”. After daily calls within the time period of June 27th to July 12th I had once received a call back nor could either of those female receptionists (Maria or Carolina) response how I had been charged a lot over the quote.

On July 10th, 2016 John the motorist called me and informed me that he’d be at my house in NM tomorrow night July 11th and maybe send my possessions that day but likely the afternoon of July 12th.

John showed up the day of July 11th at a complete size eighteen wheeler and recognized that he wasn’t able to get up my drive and stated he’d want help shuttling my possessions up into the home by utilizing my truck and utility trailer the next morning July 12th.

John shows up at ~08:00 the afternoon of July 12th and needs the $1585.00 in money before beginning of this unload. I said I will provide you 800 now and the remainder after what’s delivered he stated no it is all up front or we do not deliver. Once more I had no option but to pay up front before understanding the results. John and his team started unloading the trailer and transferring the merchandise to the home. Currently that I saw that it was a complete trailer with 3 heaps, my load being at the center of the trailer along with another load into the front and another load into the rear separated by yellowish ratchet straps (as shown in the photographs ).

At approximately 16:00 all of my possessions were away from the trailer and to the home. Then I realized I was missing my sofa and ottoman legs. John hunted his trailer but couldn’t find it. He also called his warehouse at L.A. Plus they weren’t able to find it. Now I measured the emptiness from the trailer which was left behind by removing all of my belongings at it quantified ~1040 cubic feet. I had been billed for 1600 cubic feet at $2.41 per cubic feet, a gap of 560 cubic feet at $2.41=$1349.6. I took photographs of all my dimensions and of the ceiling of this trailer revealing cubic feet from the hundreds which revealed ~900-1000 cubic feet of space that my possessions had shot up on the trailer. I get KLM dispatch and notify them of this overcharge of $1349.60 predicated on $2.41 per cubic feet and the 9% gas over cost = $122.00 totaling $1471.60 of overcharge, a lost couch worth $854.55, $16.25 in lost ottoman thighs, ~$110 shattered amusement centre, $3099.99 at a damaged and soiled mattress and $79.99 for the broken bookshelf. A grand total of $5632.38 in overcharge and declines.

I contacted KLM dispatch per day (excluding weekends) and clarified my difficulty during the next seven days, July 12-July 20th. I continued to find the identical answer as before” we will have a boss call you this day”. To current date September 26th I’ve yet to be given a call from a manager at KLM dispatch. I did however speak to this proprietor Tom on Tuesday July 19th and let me know about the overcharging, overlooking furniture, ruined furniture and the way I came to the decision on how I had been overcharged by quantifying the emptiness from the trailer along with the painted dimensions in the ceiling of the trailer. He argued with me stating that I measured it wrong and that the his trailers are 10 feet wide and 11.7 feet tall where as my images show and show that the trailer that delivered my possessions was 8′ wide and 10′ tall into the painted cubic feet dimensions within the trailer. The dialogue ended with we will contact you in case your lost possessions appear (couch and ottoman legs).

I had been overcharged $1471.60 depending on the genuine cubic feet delivered of 1040 at $2.41 per cubic feet, the 9% gas charge decrease, the missing couch and ottoman legs, the shattered entertainment centre, the greatly damaged bookshelf along with damaged/soiled mattress.

I’ve tried several times to get in touch with a KLM manager, contact Dave that the estimator and find some help but I’ve been unable to even with numerous weeks of daily calls.
