    Long-distance move from Kentucky
My move from Bardwell, KY to Frankfort, KY

I don’t recommend this business to anybody.  I’m offering them one star just because this website won’t permit me give no celebrities.  On March 13 of this year, Kentucky Lake Moving and Storage transferred my possessions from Bardwell, Kentucky into Frankfort, Kentucky.  After the motorist and his helper unloaded furniture and other things, most matters were placed at the home.  However, as the day wore on, with no knowledge, both started dumping everything in my drop.  Late the following day, I found what they’d done.  I discovered a massive pile of boxes and other things.  Everything seemed like it was thrown to the drop.  Ice cubes were upside down along with a box which had turned onto its side has been coming available in the top.  You will find boxes clearly indicated”kitchen” and”living area” from the drop.  I found a wooden dining table and a iron fern stand, each of which belonged in my living area.  A quilt handmade with my dead person mother-in-law was one of the things in my drop.  Even a none-to-clean city issued recycle can was filled with novels the 2 workers of KLMS had pitched in.  Among other items, the boxes at the drop contained a movie camera, a Waterford clock, a sculpture of a mother and kid awarded to me by my dad when my first child had been born, along with images of my loved ones.  I wish that there were ways to post images, because words actually don’t clarify the mess which I discovered.  Besides all of this, the movers did considerable damage to your own furniture.  Ryan Flota, the person who owns the business, didn’t need to flip the harm into his insurer, therefore he sent somebody by a local furniture repair company to my residence.  That person came into my house on April 24, 2014, also filed his quote to Ryan about precisely the identical moment.  I didn’t hear anything in Ryan and delivered him emails asking about my furniture fixes.  I eventually discovered on May 23 that he had turned the situation on to his insurance provider on May 14, but had not bothered to inform me.  The harm done to my possessions was estimated at around $3000.  Moreover, the director in Kentucky Lake Moving and Storage took one of my tables straight back together with him to Paducah on March 20.  The table was damaged during the transfer, and the supervisor said he’d possess the table fixed and then return it to me personally.  The dining table hasn’t yet been returned to me.  I’ve emailed and emailed Ryan Flota, the person who owns the business, about my dining table several occasions, but he hasn’t responded.  I also have referred to as the company asking in my own table.  I have always been advised that a supervisor would call mepersonally, but so far, that hasn’t occurred.

    Long-distance move from Salem, KY
    Damage to furniture

I had issues with the amount of celebrities but I meant to give two stars. We’d used this business for a smaller movement a year or so prior to the bigger move with much more furniture. The very first time things went much better. This was why I chose them again. The Ryan which came to provide a quote, not the proprietor, was really pleasant and I felt comfortable with using them. They have been scheduled for a few times due to the size of this move. We moved out of a 5000 sq ft. house we’d lived in for twenty five decades. The first day that there were six men who arrived and they came about nine. This was exactly what we’d anticipated. When they first came in among the men said he had been in control and desired me to show him something which wasn’t going and inform me about what was being transferred. I moved through the home and gave him lots of information regarding the bits that remained and which bits were the very important so far as security, etc.. I didn’t need anything ruined, however I had a couple of antiques which were special. No one appeared to really be in control that afternoon because furniture was captured and little attempt was made to adhere to the directions I’d given to both Ryan and also the guy who stated he had been accountable for There were just two young men, the guy who stated that he had been in charge which was in his thirties, an Asian guy who seemed to be school aged and a guy in his twenties which had been in charge of loading the truck. They obviously were in a rush to get it done and get home. I’m disabled and could not keep your eye on all of this in precisely the exact same moment. I had another individual serving and my husband was there for a portion of the movement but we weren’t out seeing each bit being loaded. We also did not understand the standard procedure so we would not have understood it was incorrect. Afterwards we discovered that the guy loading hadn’t done it on his own and they shipped him to do so for quite a big move with some very wonderful furniture. We found at the conclusion that he made many errors in loading and several things weren’t cushioned so the majority of the furniture on such day was ruined, for example, bit I informed them was most important to me personally and needed special attention. It was created about 1820 and had come in Holland. It’s but one of a type and they did not even try to keep it secure. The next day that the men showed up late, at about ten, and at roughly 12 they stated they were planning to work through lunch and leave early. They did not do a terrific deal that day along with the next truck that they attracted wasn’t filled. They left before two. The next day that they still had a terrific deal to package and in the conclusion of the day told me that the truck was complete and they’d be not able to take our piano along with several other items. I inquired about a second truck and has been advised that they could not supply the next to move the rest of our boxes and furniture. I was advised already it may require four trucks and as many as five times after which I’d excuses from the employees about why they could not do that. One of those men had to go from town so that they could not prolong the movement. As soon as we let management know, they were rather upset with the guy who stated he could not transfer all of our items and they did send a different truck. We finally arrived in our new home and one guy was waiting parked outside our home for many hours. He complained to us about that even though we had nothing to do with what occurred. They did work hard daily to get everything unpacked and using just 3 men the majority of the day that they had been better supervised by people and there were several issues. As soon as I began studying the furniture however I had been seeing a lot of damage. 1 armoire was placed on the truck incorrect and a massive egg sized section of this timber was damaged by alloy which had rubbed against it that the full three hour excursion. Some of the timber was even worn away. I showed the man in charge that day that which I saw at the time was ruined and I was quite upset about the item I advised many individuals was particular and to be treated carefully. It’s the classic piece. It had been ruined in more than 1 place and some damage is not repairable. I had been requested by the supervisor if I wished to find somebody or desired them to. I originally wished to find somebody but because of my health I did not do it. I spoke to Ryan many times and was ensured insurance could cover everything but nothing ever came about. I must have been more determined and proceeded to pursue the issue but I was not emotionally or physically able to perform anymore. We are still using exactly the identical furniture a year and a half after but I cringe when I see specific bits. It broke my heart that a few things which were very important to me personally were ruined just due to a lack of maintenance and a business who did not send a person to pack the truck that had expertise. We’re those left with ruined furniture after having a fantastic deal for your transfer.

    Long-distance move from Clarksville, TN
    Very Happy with move.

Lately we moved into Paducah KY out of TN. I have many quotes, all as well. The quotation from KLMS was marginally lower but I detected some terrible reviews so that I called to inquire about the adverse comments. Throughout a really frank talk with Kyle, he clarified that there was fresh ownership/management/crews, therefore we chose to offer them our company. Overall I was really satisfied with the support, team headed by Gus and James was so excellent. Nothing broken up and the team was very careful. I’d happily recommend this business.
