I hired Joyce to perform a move and bought extra insurance. After breaking off a leg of a China cabinet, they refused the claim asserting that the leg might have previously been mended and therefore they refused the claim for” Latent Vice”. The transfer cost $6000, the insurance nearly $400 further, and also the fix to the leg would have been below $1000. Furthermore, they arrived on several days to perform the packing. They need to have understood how to maneuver a China cabinet on legs. Rather they claimed that since the leg might have been previously repaired they weren’t accountable because of its own damage. My restorer, once he saw the harm, stated that the leg hadn’t been previously repaired. I wouldn’t ever use them again. Beware.

Contracted with Joyce Van Lines to get transfer in CT to FL. Chose them since they initially started out as a homegrown CT business. The absence of professionalism starts with the’salesman’ Mr Adams (who comes into a house to size it up and provide the estimate of price ) and proceeds into the workplace (Janice was just rude and requires a course in customer support ) to the men who load the truck (most were fine but one spent the entire day at the bathrooms in my home making a major mess and yet another kept asking if he would have any of my house which was being transferred ). It then continues in the destination country in which the damage to a house is presently being found and also the FL receiving men blame the CT loading men. Furniture was scratched, broken and scraped. My children beds were disassembled harshly causing screws to be removed and therefore are missing components and so were reassembled improperly virtually causing harm for my children. The CT men explained that they don’t care if you compose’Extremely Fragile’ on a box since they did not pack it so it doesn’t matter – that they match things where they could match them at the truck. I have images of my’Extremely Fragile’ boxes wedged in between a number of different boxes with 5 or 4 boxes in addition to those. We’d cycles with cut handlebars, movers slammed a big dresser to a wall breaking up a drawer knob off and damaging the wall., they wrapped a costly elliptical machine in transferring blankets with all the plug still in it, causing the plug to split off at the machine that now can not be utilized. They”lost” a 9×12 foot oriental carpet. We’ll be moving again so aren’t unpacking things so I’m confident the degree of harm isn’t even finalized yet. This is a costly transfer – more then other moving company quotes. I requested to be present when the truck has been weighed and they didn’t notify me then said”oops,sorry”. The FL motorist claimed he couldn’t move the truck through the streets of the gated community in FL so that they charged me an extra $1200 to get a’shuttle’ (that had been a UHAUL truck that they leased for $200). I’ve since noticed many moving trucks at the exact same dimensions (53 feet ) in my area and have pictures to show. I just can’t say one positive thing about this moving business. I can’t recommend this company at all. And that I can only recommend you to RUN from that firm!

The motorists are all wonderful and incredibly responsive but they’re pushed quite difficult by the enterprise to maintain the trucks to the street all the time. They over-estimate the dispatch, you pay and then as it pertains in below, you receive a minimum refund.
They indicate insurance, but if items are ruined, you’re discounted and the insurance coverage you cover is totally not clarified and will be a farce if they usually come through. It isn’t categorized as further insurance but with different businesses in years past NEVER happened in this way.
They likewise don’t communicate well to motorists and should you pay much extra for packaging, the motorists weren’t educated and ended up hurrying.
The business fully ignores you after the cash is in along with the shipment has been delivered.

We predicted the Redlands Ca workplace and from there on some doubts or worries we’ve had were all gone. From begin to finish everyone we dealt with in this business were specialist with customer service a high priorty. Our move couldn’t have gotten better. We were really impressed with the professionalism of this (4) movers we’d. They came on time and took everything aside, moved and built everything once we got there. All four men were excited to proceed anything at which you wanted and aided you along with things you had cared for. The cost was pretty much directly on which they quoted too. The movers were very cautious and got together with one another and have been quite considerate. They left a stressful play, quite carefree for us now and we’d certainly use them again.

I contacted them originally since they had a great rating with the BBB at CT..
They did a walkthrough on a Monday and they have been packing up my stuff that Thursday.  Their first quotation came in at $1500 under the next lowest estimate I’ve got.  My things did wind up weighing more than that they originally anticipated.  But, I do not hold them liable for this.  To begin with , I had them go several items that I thought I would be carrying with me personally in my vehicle.  Secondly, I had a couple boxes under my mattress; while I informed him about them, the salesman could not open or see them for himself.
Everything created it through just fine.  The worst thing I discovered in my packaging was that a fracture in the cap of a mouthwash bottle.  I would use them again, likely without bothering to receive estimates from another business.

There is a reason I replicated visit Joyce Moving. The workers are professional, capable and eager to guarantee that the move goes as smoothly as possible.
