Long-distance move from North Sioux City, SD
    Moving 2011 Sioux City

Not certain where to start. We had been made to move out of our house because of Missouri River flooding. I-Go was able to mess nearly all of our furniture. What was not mould infested was scratched and ruined so badly that fixes took well over a year. Mr. Nogg wasn’t sympathetic at least.

    Cannot Recommend

Of five life cross country goes, I-Go Van was by far my worst experience. I will attempt to be more factual with my critique.

    1. We consented to a first quote, however, I-Go revised upward it. We tried to delete things from our transfer, but got no answer in the estimator. Quite costly!
    2. I-Go promised us concerning their abilities to transfer our baby grand piano. They loaded it on the vehicle and drove it cross country. Upon entrance, the movers advised us that they weren’t accountable for transferring the piano to our home and left it at the driveway. I phoned I-Go for help, but they contended that our arrangement didn’t include transferring the piano to the home. We needed to employ a local plumber to complete the job. It is hard to imagine that a contract claims they’ll move the piano throughout the nation but not to the home. Really perplexing.
    3. The packers wrapped little objects, such as picture frames, egg cups, and miniature bowls in packaging paper and hauled them to big boxes. We needed to carefully search through each and every scrap of wrapping paper to prevent inadvertently throwing things away. I have never seen anybody pack like this.
    4. There was little association to the packaging. Kitchen things were packaged with boxes with living area products, etc.. They wrapped everything from newspaper (no dish packs), that was awkward to unpack (see #3). To quote my wife,”That is really a nightmare. I wish I had packaged it myself.”
    5. They packaged a clay sculpture into a cardboard box without the reinforcements. It came as you’d anticipate, smashed into pieces. This was a gift from my sister. Bummer.
    6. We recently learned that all of our boxes have been sent to a different address. We transferred seven month past! Funny that the motorist maintained all boxes were unloaded and accounted for. Hopefully, we’ll see our things daily.
    7. Our complaints were fulfilled with explanations of the number of years of expertise I-Go’s team owns, as if this will somehow make us feel much better. It did not.

As I mentioned at the start, I have moved cross country five occasions. I have hired local movers in the very least a dozen occasions. This is by far our worst encounter. I’d describe it as gloomy. The most significant part is that our complaints are satisfied with anger and refusal from the business owners. Sad. . .very miserable.

Obviously, I cannot suggest I-Go Van & Storage.
