    Long-distance move from Naples, FL
Not at all Honest and True

Please don’t make the mistake we did and utilize True and Honest. They ruined our TV along with also a photo and also refuse to produce it appropriate. Dan Ross arrived at our house to give us a quote and offered us a bill of goods on them being a spiritual business and standing behind their job. There wasn’t a supply of further insurance to guard our items. Instead we were awarded.60 percent to the film and refusal to substitute the TV.
On the afternoon of our movement 2 men and two high school children came to move these items. They packed with of our wall art, mirrors, pictures and tvs. We’d intended to move our huge tv ourselves because we were worried about it becoming ruined. The movers assured us that it might arrive undamaged, so that they would pack it together with extreme caution. They were after all professionals and did so all time. After the movers left along with also the cable company came to put in our support it was then that we discovered the harm to our television. The rear was partly broken and there were big areas where the”black coat” was cut off.
Over the last 3 months I’ve tried to utilize Sherri Doucette who manages their promises. To say that she had been so rude and dismissive is a enormous understatement. She originally tried to blame us and say we needed to accept responsibility for packaging items till she discovered her team packed it. The reply is in case the harm was there by the movers we’d have seen it immediately. They’ve got an answer for all.
In addition to the harm to these items the children on the team proved extremely unprofessional. They needed to stop for supper from your homes, which we believed odd but consented to. The owners child brother took a rest by sitting out on our kitchen counters at our brand new house. They place their drinks in our timber dining table, leaned throughout the leather seats and traipsed with filthy shoes around our area carpeting. Honest and true is the only thing that this provider is.
    An Extremely frustrated client

    Long-distance move from Sacramento, CA
    Subcontractor to International Van Lines

Subcontractors,”Fair and Fair Movers”, showed up in my apt. At Sacramento, CA on 8/26/17. I was instantly told that the”binding” quotation from International Van Lines wasn’t sufficient. Honest & True illegally upcharged me nearly double what was initially bought and believed that, when I needed my items transferred, I would need to visit the bank and receive a brand new cashiers check. Since everything was packaged and my rent was up, I did it now. I’d requested that shipping not happen until later 9/1/17 and had been advised I could anticipate delivery in North Carolina 5-7 days then. My real shipping date has been 10/12/17!! I phoned weekly to learn where my possessions were and was always told it’d be at 5-7 days! Honest & True even made up areas where they continue monitored the load. Turns out my items did not even abandon CA until a while later 10/1/17. But after many petition letters and unreturned telephone calls, I still have not got the promised compensation for the delay. Unless I move to Florida to file a tiny claims lawsuit, I’m left with no recourse. Don’t Use INTERNATIONAL VAN LINES OR HONEST AND TRUE MOVERS. They’ll UPCHARGE YOU, LIE TO YOU AND NOT HONOR THEIR OWN CONTRACT. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

    Not honest nor true

This is a very disappointing movement. They were assumed to come at 9 am on Wednesday. I’d reserved my travel plans so. Then they told me ensured they’d be there on Thursday at 9 am. I called the day before to confirm and they pitched me once, I called back again and they said they’d call back – never did, I phoned back again and they said they’d call back – not did. Afterward, I predicted at night into a complete voicemail. I received a call about 10 pm my time together with all the driver telling me he’d”likely be there about 6 or 5 pm the following day”. The first time is about either people, next time is about them, next time could have been around me and that I finally decided to shoot them. Moving is stressful enough and that I personally felt that this team didn’t keep me informed during the process and, finally, didn’t hold true to the word. I’ve the entire process recorded for affirmation.

    Complete Liars and Cheats!!!

I’m not a lawyer, but it’s still my view that The organization is acting fraudulently across country lines, is using bait and switch strategies and unethical business practices and can be working with extreme neglect when shifting people’s private belongings. I’ve reached the stage in the claims procedure where a claim was registered for $3,456.99 along with a reply settlement petition was obtained for $330.00; although the company guarantee me they’d provide me an extra $700 refund because the transfer went so horribly wrong. So, I find that their official response insufficient to fix their fraudulent action and also feel a duty to alert the government to ensure proper measures could be taken to protect other customers and possibly recover some of my compensation without needing to talk straight with those people any farther.
    Incident Description:
About 4-4-2017 I received an email from htmcus@gmail.com using The Compay’s emblem that contained the following text:
“Thanks for calling Honest and Authentic Moving Crew. We’re a family owned and operated moving company that’s been servicing the United States household products moving company for more than 6 decades. Our specialist estimators possess a combined 30 decades of expertise in facilitating local and interstate moves. We have our committed trailers and NEVER EVER sub-par your relocation to a different moving business. Simply because your moving does not mean you’ve got to get STRESSED. Just click on the URL to the stock checklist below or give us a call in 239-465-5249 and talk to one of our trained specialists and you’ll be one step nearer to a painless, stress free move anywhere in the northeast United States.”
Thus, as stated by the firm”We have our committed trailers and NEVER EVER sub-par your move into a different moving business” (hereon known as Guarantee #1). But, dependent on verbal conversations with the man who picked up my possessions, the assumed owner of the business, along with the movers that fell off my possessions, they did actually use subcontractors with this particular job.
The business provided an extra assurance that The firm would send my belongings on 4-27-2017 based on the paperwork signed in pickup (hereon known as Guarantee #2). Nonetheless, my possessions weren’t delivered before 5-19-2017; I wasn’t given sufficient updates and wasn’t informed were my additions were nor how they were being stored in that delay.
The Business guaranteed me that a 700 refund perform to the action of, exactly what they promised, was that their subcontractors; the firm made this assurance verbally for me (hereon known as certainty #3) however I don’t think they reacted to my written verification petition. The simple fact that their settlement petition didn’t incorporate that this refund is testament enough that they aren’t negotiating in good faith.
The Firm guaranteed me verbally during early discussions that sufficient insurance coverage could be provided for full value policy (hereon known as Guarantee #4). But after I flew to Utah from Atlanta to meet the movers in my storage center, they dropped to provide whole coverage insurance stating that it was not accessible and crossing out that department on the kind; they still forced me to specifically decline this policy that allegedly was ensured, but not provided, and they waited till I flew nearly 2000 miles to take action. I feel grossly taken advantage of.
It was not guaranteed, but neither was it said that my possessions would be transferred out of the truck that I loaded them on onto two individual trucks for 2 different shipments, among which could have broken down across the road (hereon known as Complaint #1) and the two of which might have been through subcontractor. This was probably what led the gigantic quantity of negligence caused harm to my possessions, particularly considering they had been employing contractors for a portion of the work.
Months after submitting this original conflict with FMCSA, the business contacted me and sounded panicked about my submitting. They said they needed to create this correct and begged my own to contact FMCSA to cancel my criticism; they said that the desired to make it right, but couldn’t cause me an offer from the deadline imposed by FMCSA; I said that if I phoned FMCSA and attempted to place the claim on grip for a show of good faith, they’d make me a much more reasonable offer inside the week when the claims division had spoke to the Owner concerning it. I phoned FMCSA and asked that my complaint be placed on hold; ~3 months passed without a call has been received from the business. Another ~5 months passed, I phoned them twice to get a status update without a decent information was granted. Therefore, no revised deal was supplied and they seem to have intentionally tricked me; yet another sign this provider is most certainly not”Fair and True”.

    Not honest and true...

Only read all testimonials with a single celebrity and that is going to let you know about my transfer. They really should modify the title rather than Honest, I think my items were utilized due to the harm instead of merely lost boxes but it seemed like someone went through and took everything they wanted. Just take a fantastic look in your items and say goodbye since you may wind up like me to not see them again.

Joe Pelletier's final email to me

I sued HTMC at Magistrate’s Court at West Virginia for violation of contract. I won. Joe Pelletier whined in court under oath repeatedly. It was foolish what he was stating. Claimed that he hadn’t ever been in court before so he was worried. . .must have forgotten that the courtroom looks in his way to jail for drug trafficking at Lee County Florida. Perhaps he thought that I had not found that? He wrote me a check for harms to fulfill the judgment and also to pay my court expenses. His last email to me:
    (I edited a single phrase )
    Hey Larry,

Proceed f**Ignore your self without contact me again

I got unbelievable satisfaction only from watching him must arrive at West Virginia twice from Florida to maintain Court. And never having to pay a lawyer. Him, not even me. Apparently he did not have such a great time. However, this really is about as professional as the support that he provided.

    Long-distance move from New York
    Nightmare ...

Honest and True Moving Crew mentioned me a quotation based on my verbal outline of exactly what I had transferred. They didn’t request specs or photos of any sort for confirmation. As it was my very first movement necessitating a moving company, it did not happen to me that this type of documentation has been necessary. I believe, nevertheless, that HTMC was negligent in NOT requiring the documentation in order for them to provide a fair and accurate quote originally.

Joe, the owner, and yet another inspector came 2 hrs. late. Upon really seeing what I had transferred, Joe raised the initial cost quote $750. And demanded that I pay a $900. Cash deposit.

Before committing Joe, I asked him how much it would cost to cover my possessions for 5K. He said he’d check into it. The moment I paid him, he abandoned the assumptions and remained away the whole time leaving another mover to function independently. Joe also left his 18 wheeler parked in my narrow residential road blocking entrances to two high rises.

When a neighbor had entry to his construction, the Agency went down and flew right into a vitriolic anger instead of phoning Joe and with him go the van.

The Agency came back upstairs and began making hints in acquiring a hint until I leaned him. This occurred far beforehand of completing the movement.

The transfer from my one bedroom apt. Should have obtained 3, possibly 4 hours. I’d completed all of the packaging myself, the boxes were prepared to go along with all that was left to do was wrap the furniture and then load the truck. After 4 hours and 4 telephone calls from me into the company dispatcher, a replacement inspector eventually arrived.

The replacement inspector pulled a classic hutch down the stairs by himself instead of await help from his co-worker, and broke off one of those sides resulting in estimated compensation of $564.

When Joe eventually returned 6.5 hours afterwards, I asked him again how much it’d cost to cover my possessions for 5K. He said that it could be about $460. And I did not need to have to cover that. I inquired if the company was insured and he promised me that they had been and that I would be OK with their policy. According to my study, saying this really is a DOT breach.

Before employing HTMC, I supported the arrival date w/the dispatcher, Ronald Roth, and advised my trip and other agreements so. The verbal confirmation from Mr. Roth was that my possessions would arrive in my new home 5-7 times when they were picked up out of my present residence. I was also told I would be given a call in the motorist 48 hrs. In advance to lock in a particular shipping period at my new home.

On the 5th day, I phoned HTMC and has been provided a multitude of different arrival times and explanations why my possessions wouldn’t be coming for another week.

When the driver finally came, he earned 1 piece of furniture and said,”You want the remainder, you’ve got to pay the balance in total”.

I felt freakishly jeopardized by this laborious debacle at the time and by everybody demanded from HTMC, so I called the police and reported that a robbery. It had been considered a civil issue, therefore nothing can be achieved, but I did ask that a report be registered.

Three boxes along with a industrial fan were overlooking. Along with this busted hutch, there was a dip from the cloth of a chaise lounge. The protective plastic covering in my mattress was torn and the plastic covering from my own topper was totally eliminated. The topper was grotesquely bloated and stained.

After completing the in depth insurance coverage followed with photographs, links to lost things, in addition to, the quote for your damaged furniture, the insurer offered me $120.00 for your $2,709.45 in damages and loss.

Their evaluation was based only on the weight of those boxes dropped. Not one of the appropriate information required within their claim form was addressed – that the photographs, links or harm estimate.

My experience with this firm was so nightmarish that I Googled the proprietor, Joesph Pelletier, fully expecting to discover criminal background of some type. The outcome of my Google search didn’t surprise me: http://www.sheriffleefl.org/main/index.php?r=crimeActivity/inmateDetail&id=410011

It’s unfathomable to me that a individual or persons of such repute are deemed okay to take care of the valuables and possessions of unsuspecting citizens.

According to my personal experience with this business, I recommend you NOT to make the exact same error as I did. Hire someone else in case your possessions are of any worth to you.

    Long-distance move from Florida
Half of a move is not a move

I moved from Florida to West Virginia. I had been told there could be four workers who visited my furniture to off-load it. There was just the driver. Deal labour was hired in WV. I had been told four were requested for, three consented and just two showed up. One of these had alcohol in his breath at 9 in the afternoon. The tractor which came towing the trailer was a lease and I had been told that the tack onto the tractor wouldn’t let it push the drive to my property. The identical driveway was traversed by cement trucks and big delivery trucks since the home was being constructed. I needed to use my pickup to shuttle all of my furniture out of the semi open to my residence. I ran from 9 in the morning till 6 at night loading boxes myself since the employees were so excruciating and slow. Boxes were being dropped, place in the incorrect places and piled upside down or on their sides. I used to not pay to transfer my own furniture, I compensated for the business to achieve that. They didn’t.
