The business isn’t trustworthy! Don’t use if you would like quality support. Quite unprofessional. I originally contacted Purple Heart Transferring Team that works with different companies for the relocation and ended up delegating Hometown Van Lines to perform the pickup and the shipping of my possessions. They also charged a ridiculous quantity of additional cash from the first quotation, but required quite long to send my possessions. Belongings sat at a storage space for days. Upon providing, they requested to pay $500 additional as their truck won’t fit in the neighborhood in which I lived. Ended up providing into a storage space far away from my location. I needed to select my possessions and spend in a different truck to carry them all home. Obtaining this storage space was difficult since Hometown Van Lines was quite unprofessional and not valuable to convey anything. Worst experience we ever had!

Chandee – I really hope I correctly spelled out her name–has been wonderfully helpful and will bend over backward to get things done for you. That was great.

The matter is should you get to Hometown via a Broker (in my instance Right Moves), you receive severely overcharged as well as the services provided are misrepresented. I’ll be reporting Right Moves and reviewing these individually.

The Hometown men did an wonderful job in packaging, but they came early promising they called me- they did not -and it resulted in all kinds of logistic difficulties. Nevertheless I gave them a 70 suggestion due to their incredible work.

Deliver was another story.
Kuddos to Chandee for receiving my furniture delivered in record time. Enormous boos into the moving guys-they sucked in shipping. Not only were they keen to escape, but not many of those boxes were put where they labels suggested, such as kitchen materials was put in the restroom, doorways were clocked, plus they did hurt some bits and apparently lost several bits.

Oh, and they really do make rude remarks in Spanish/Portuguese, believing you do not know.

Avoid like the plague. Big contributors. We’ll be pursuing legal problems contrary to them along with keystone moving unless problems are happy. Tremendous rip off. Both have already been reported on the BBB

The top 3 items I expect from a moving firm are for my things to be delivered on time, in tact, and also for the cost quoted. Not one of them were fulfilled with this corporation.

The shipping was almost two weeks late after falsely saying delivery quotes TWICE. This cost almost $2,000 additional dollars in addition to the time required traveling across state to fulfill the movers who didn’t arrive at either event. I had not been told that my possessions would be sent tens of thousands of kilometers in the wrong way to be set in storage for almost two weeks before finally sending. When I called to complain about the bad service I had been spoken to in a really condescending way. Each of the difficulty might have been averted had the business been up front and translucent rather than reacting to me in false and deceptive statements. Additionally, several pieces of furniture have been broken upon arrival involving two hand made pieces which were closely researched as delicate. In terms of price, the final price was over $4,000 over the first estimate. Additionally, because I needed to arrange for a relative to be present throughout the delivery as it eventually came late and we weren’t able to oversee the movement in, our items were left handed and piled piles in the garage. My fiancee and I had been caused enormous stress during an already stressful occasion at this corporation. My honest advice is to seek out a different company for the relocation.
