    Long-distance move from Woonsocket, RI
One of the worst experiences of my life

Please research better before choosing a moving company! Utilizing Excellent Moving (AKA greatmovingusa.com) has been among the worst errors in my personal life. I had been moving out of RI into Chicago, the guy who offered me told me I needed to fly into Chicago THE identical DAY because they pick up my possessions in RI if they had been delivered. In addition, he stated that Chicago has been a major hub for the business in order that they’d be sent very fast. 22 DAYS LATER, after several phone calls without any useful info, my possessions came. I thought they had really gone forever, they never had a response to if they were planning to come before a few days ahead of the lengthy month of getting no possessions was finished. My clothes were soaked and covered in a purple mould, following washing it never came out and that I needed to dispose of heaps of my clothes (that was at a plastic tight container). My mirror was crushed although it had been at a foam box. My dressed was caved in and ruined and totally missing the very first shelf. My sofa cushions were destroyed. Numerous vases, photos which were all in bubble wrap had been ruined. Basically each big item was ruined. I still have not heard back in the claim I have registered and continues to be months. Furthermore, they estimate you with a cubic square foot”Estimate” that they simply offer you by you listing the things which you would like to proceed. If you’re over this”quote” (that you definitely will be) then they automatically bill you for the extra 100 cubic square foot in a rate nearly double the cost! I’m reasonable and comprehend shuttle charges, but then this also made your shuttle charges double the cost! My quotation versus everything I paid has been tripled. I am so happy this is finished and will frankly never use a inspector I am rather traumatized. And if they hurt your things they’ll just cover 25 cents for each pound of item ruined, so that I shall never be visiting any money out of this business. I truly hope this prevents an individual from going through exactly what I did.

    Long-distance move from Colorado
    Absolutely awful company

I contracted with Good Moving USA to get the interstate move, originally scheduled for pickup of my possessions in Chicago, IL on

1/15. The movement was scheduled to deliver my possessions from Chicago, IL, to Denver, CO.. The Whole contract cost (before

The accession of a”stair charge”( which I agreed to) was 1385. Following the Evaluation of the stair charge, the Entire contract cost

Was 1450. About the 14th, my sales rep, Allen Parker, advised me that going the next day (as

Contemplated in the initial contract, which he hailed ) was faked for Excellent Moving. Allen explained this immediately

Subsequent to the entry of my 290 deposit. I used to not contest this stage, and actually consented. Thus, Allen rescheduled

My movement for 1/16, using a redundancy scheduled for 1/17 at the event that the 16th additionally became undependable. I’m in

Colorado, and so needed to trust in a Variety of Family and Friends members to hastily scramble to get All my possessions

Ready for the transfer around the 16th. At the afternoon of the 16th, I received the email from Good Moving suggesting that the

Movement was rescheduled for its 17th. No issue – this has been already accounted for in this arrangement. But on the

17th, I again received an email suggesting that the transfer would need to be rescheduled. This Wasn’t considered at the

Original arrangement, nevertheless an obscure clause did supply that Good Moving reserves the right to reschedule for legitimate reasons,

Or something to that overall effect. I phoned and talked to a broker to go over rescheduling. The agent suggested the reason

For the rescheduled movement has been a snowstorm. Barometric maps of this country of Illinois suggest there were no snowstorms

Through the whole state on such date or some of the previous 3 times, before late in the day (long after whenever the move

Was scheduled to happen ). No matter I reluctantly approved an additional rescheduled movement for the next morning, 1/18, place

for pickup between 9am-11am. I waited till the appointed moment, using a buddy on-site ready to answer the door to your

Movers, nevertheless nobody predicted. About 11:15 I contacted Great Transferring’s customer support section. They connected

Me into the driver of the moving truck, who informed me that he had been an hour away in the pickup place. After the driver came on

Website, he phoned me and informed me that the price of this transfer had improved, from $1450 to $2600. He requested him to describe why. He

Said, in part, that there has been a”shuttle charge” for support in the moving truck into the door of the flat. He also alleged

My TV would have to get packed, which the packaging price could be $150 for this alone, together with assorted additional

Miscellaneous expenses, all jointly in near the whole price of the initial contract. None of the extra fees

Were justified, nor were they even pretty considered in the arrangement. The arrangement between myself and Good Moving is

An adhesion contract, that puts the most overpowering impetus on myself. Cancellations are automatically waived, and no.

Paths are supplied for refund. Effectively, this implies that Great Moving may appear to anyone’s home, estimate any

Figure as another cost, which party will either have to pay the extra sum, or cancel the contract with no

Receiving any compensation. I contacted my bank to examine fraud, since I think it was Good Moving’s purpose to

Charge me an extra fee whatever the condition of my livelihood and possessions upon birth.

    Long-distance move from Washington, DC
The worst service and company ever encountered

This firm, hands down, is the worst company I’ve encountered, and it has to be shut down. The business failed to upgrade the quote, which contained specific restrictions on the hours once the construction cargo elevator may be utilized, which caused the movers coming 1 hour (!!!) Prior to the elevator has been closed off to finish a 3-hour job. Then I had been given to reschedule the move for $400, along with all of the new info and additional charges that the agent Allen Parks never said in all three discussions with him. Per the movers’ evaluation, my brand new quote would more than double the sole Allen Parks supplied me with. The business refused to reevaluate the rescheduling fee, refund the deposit I created, or reevaluate their neglect in any potential and acceptable method. This business shouldn’t be permitted to run anywhere. Period.

    SCAM

This provider isn’t transparent. As it was time to get the transfer, the driver stated that we must pay additional $700 for its usage of the shuttle that is in fact a truck packed with additional stuff from different folks stating that their huge truck can’t park on the road in order that they must use a shuttle that’s a more compact truck. The truck or even the so called shuttle parked in the front of the apartment building without any constraints and I ask the company why are you currently paying the additional $700 in case the little truck is going to be the person to journey in SC to VA? I will know if the little truck will move the stuff into the 18 wheeler. I really don’t have the delivery however but in case the little truck that picked up the items is going to be the identical truck which will shipping it into VA we aren’t likely to cover the excess price the provider is charging.

Increased the fee after the move started!

This location really is a SCAM!

You Speak into”Charlie” who looks very pleasant and gives you a quotation and then on going day–that they include $1000 to this invoice

And she isn’t going to get on the telephone to speak to you. She’s simply a broker that provides you with mis-information. You need to speak to the manager of these movers. You’re stuck on moving day as you need to be from your old location and to your new one in a particular time frame. You’ve taken off work etc etc..

Wonderful Carpets are these scam artists they’re sickening! Plus they”lost” a few of our items in addition to moved things from different people houses into our location!!!! They’re beyond dreadful. You can’t leave an overview on their site — you will find just FAKE 5 star reviews out the market.

Even The Better Business Bureau claims that the address they’ve recorded because of their headquarters would be FAKE, they don’t respond to statements and gave them a F score! . They ought to be brought up on charges!

Cheaters, rude and nicely planned scam: DO NOT HIRE THEM

We’d intended to get an interstate transfer to Texas. Everything was mentioned in detail on telephone and email using’Allen’ – that the sales rep from your firm’ side. The quotation that has been given to us was about $1500. On the afternoon of moving pickup, their agents came in and raised the quotation to $2500 mentioning that the general size was bigger than wha could match in their automobile. The story doesn’t end here. They have been extremely rude and haughty at time of pickup with my spouse who had been by herself at the home. At the time of shipping, they called us to let us understand that the delivery is occurring tomorrow involving a given time frame: and guess what? The delivery never happened on the following day and there was no communication whatsoever in their side to allow us understand what had occurred. We needed to make a zillion phone calls many of that were a waste since nobody answered or everybody just kept us pushing fro one person/party to some other person/party. Then late night, we have a text message stating there was a problem with the real shipping man so our shipping was becoming postponed by the following day. When they arrived in for delivery: our TV has been brokenup, guitar lost, mattress lost. Bear in mind, we needed to take off our days work to adapt their delivery interval that never occurred on the first date that they themselves had committed to. Then when we registered claims as our things were missing/broken: we needed to struggle for our rights, however, the business never cared and were as usual rude and haughty in their answers. We ended up spending about $3000 on our movement to need to endure insult, arrogance during, doubt and unprofessionalism and ofcourse missing/broken items. Such crooks along with a bunch of thieves they’re! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND Never HIRE GREAT MOVING USA. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Don’t use this organization. My transfer from nj to va ended up costing me over 3000 and the only furniture that I transferred was a jewellery armoire that they broke along with a mattress. The remainder was boxes and bathtubs.

Scammers - See all previous Reviews. 100% accurate!

Same problems with all prior reviews. Had been quoted a single price and billed almost double later it was all done. Shuttle Truck, etc.. This business was known as Great Moving USA & I am pretty certain that these crooks change their name every couple of months after getting numerous complaints, searching for new clients unable to join them together with their prior incarnation.

    Long-distance move from Florida
    Great Moving

    Very poor service/ SCAMMERS.

This firm ought to be shut down!!

Our transfer in PA to Florida to begin our new life on March 28 was a NIGHTMARE, to say the very least.

When we phoned the company to obtain an estimate,we obtained an Allen Parks, maybe not even sure if this was his real name, since everything this business informs you are establishes!!

Allen is the very best TRICKSTER of all of them. He was always there with any queries we had, reassuring us we’ll be cared for, he’s there to assist us and make this movement pleasurable and easy.He is their hook to con folks into go together and then he’s gone forever!!! No communication at all, they would not even link him to us about the day that the movers were coming. It was just like we had been in another world beginning that day!

The written quote was $4319.00. They arrived 4 hours late, on a rainy day in too little of a truck, which we moved over a few times with them we’ve yet another stop several miles off and also at signing before we chose the contract each thing was fine.Well that it was not!!! They arrived at a too little rental truck,no masks, no flooring security for wet ft no regard for our house! We moved just a little bit of furniture, mainly everything was scraped .Bought a chandelier box from them for $50.00,believing it would shield it through proceeding, well it’d no packaging inside for security.

While they have been packing our things to the truck that the ring leader stated that they can’t make another stop since the truck is little even for that which we had.At this stage today 9:00 pm. He advised us our invoice today is $10,242.00!!!!!!

They desired 70 percent of the before they continued packing

Our possessions. We’d the new buyers of our home moving in two days after, and we needed to clean out the house for them to maneuver in. I needed to move funds in my neighbors net since December was already turned away. We had been at such a panic,we needed to do exactly what they wanted because we had no choice,we needed to move out along with the new family needed to proceed in!! Additionally realize we had been in the beginning of Covid 19. The following day we needed to rent a UHaul to tug on the rear of our one automobile to choose what that they left behind. $1000.00 added into this scam!!

As we had been traveling through the countries, A truck a vehicle a Uhaul and a puppy, they text us and want to have more money of the last payment which we owe until they provide our belongs.

We’re traveling through the virus, many rest stops were restricted,no world wide web to attempt and move the money that they desire, just because they need it or they wont send our items.

Eventually in a grocery shop with gloves and mask we attempt the move the payment but it wouldn’t go through( in their end.) They needed us to even text it to another firm that people never heard about, they stated it’s a sister co. of theirs. They need to have a whole lot of fake organizations to pay their maddness!! In accordance with our contract our shipping ought to really be about April 5. I discovered a branch of my bank in Florida and chose to get in and wire them the cash. Once they have the money that they CANCELLED our shipping date since they said it took us too long!! We had contact with them they’re rude, non affectionate and said they’re working on a new date to provide our possessions, but they don’t have a date as of this moment. Could you imagine the terror we’re feeling at this stage. This terrible firm has everything ,everything we have. Computers jewelry, televisions, clothing, furniture, and sentimental items .paper function everything.Every time we attempted to make contact them that they would link us into an extension which nobody was there. It was just like the twilight zone. We all had to live on was using the things we needed to bring from the UHaul. We had family members and friends sending us things to sleep on,sit on,we needed to get clothing in a Wall Mart only to get by.

Our shipping eventually came on April 18.

Many Many things missing and broken. Our little chimney was trashed and the door wont shut right, large lovely outside containers broken, my moms crystal bowls broken, a brand new Dyson vacuum cleaner in it’s box not used. . I can go on and on. M y husband whilst unpacking keeps saying to each other, did you see my? Can you see my?

This provider is soooo poor, we expect we could do some thing to get paid for our losses and also to prevent those extortionists. They simply cant get away with treating people so badly at their own time of need without the regard for other land. DO NOT HIRE THEM, We learned the hard way.

Do not USE!! Rip Off and their Insurance Anthem is not any better!

I believed I’d discovered a fantastic business! Allen was really beneficial in the beginning as I was planning to relocate from PA to IN. He then went ghost. Then The corporation wouldn’t respond to emails or calls. On moving day that the gentlemen were angry because it had been more than they’d expected. Had Allen returned telephone calls and read mails he’d have understood. They broke a lamp in my flat. I have charged extra on shipping since it had been a shuttle?? (it was the exact same truck that they had to pick up my things – boxes were smashed – things broken and a few were items that couldn’t be replaced. The delivery drivers were quite cautious in earning my things ( I could tell they cared) I had been advised by Allen that they’d bring up my items to the next floor but in the contract it stated it had been an additional charge! Therefore I had them depart everything down stairs, so they did put my bed together. Among those drivers picked up a box and may feel that things were going about – the side of this box stated brittle – Lamp onto it. He camera e mail and allow me to understand that the box appeared like somethings was broken- that he purchased it in and when I opened it – the lamp which was delivered to me out of my mother ( we had it for over 40 years) was broken into bits. I contacted direction instantly and they apologized and sent claim forms. Anthem asserts that they wouldn’t cover damages since I signed which I got my items. The Great moving customer support person told me to sign and she had been making note that things were broken. I took photos – you can see that I had the things securely wrapped etc., the boxes were pitched, they had been bent etc. with all the additional prices, it cost me more than the excess 3k than the initial quotation and I’d things broken! Not to mention that my birth was for November 1 and I didn’t get my things till November 18th! It’s stressful moving and not to have your things cared for is, fairly egregious! Don’t use this business!

    Disgusted with this Company

I moved from NJ to Florida. . Hired those unprofessional, inconsiderate firm because of my transfer cause they offered me a fantastic quote for only boxes n 4 television. Well I certainly explained when awarded quotation it’d be between 40 – 50 boxes, and 4 television, distinct size television, perhaps a mattress n foldingbed was not sure cause more stuff still desired packaging which I had to shoot with me. . They knew that from Starting, mind you, I did all of packaging n padding, not them. So all they’d needed to do would be to load to truck n unload to storage unit at my destination. He gave me a quotation n stated he included additional space if I did want it., I said no problem. I had been pleased with quotation given, therefore mind you 3 times before I called to affirm n clarify to Kelly the allegedly manager that I had additional things n she said no difficulty allow motorist understand. I said okay, she never explained to me the excess cost what so ever or asked about just how much more? So I said cool. I never dreamed in my wildest fantasy that if movers arrivedthey would had added each of these additional charges,,shuttle n cubic footer costs,,, on the afternoon of my transfer June 25th, 2020, therefore I phoned Kelly to describe why would be the cost was twice, she said really they needed to utilize a shuttle trigger a semi truck wouldn’t match,, and that is a lie, so I visit semi trucks move thru my cube alot and so she would continue to state that its in the contract,” I told her why that I did notice this, she wasn’t fine in any way, and said you ought to have read little prints. I stated who takes some time to read modest prints following ya rush individuals to sign the contract n take their cash. really who?? Cause they do not give you sufficient time to browse and ask questions. As soon as you sign that contract you’re obligated to it,, not honest, I’ve got a reading comprehension problem and that I advised the salesman that..so he understood that, so the price was jacked up twice! I had a match known as my daughter to borrow cash from her… This wasn’t anticipated in any way. I explain to them that I had been a single parent with just one fixed income, so I needed to sell all of my huge furnitute, bedroom sets and etc..to be able to afford to employ a movers,” But they really didn’t care. When I got here, my delivery was suppose to be here by July 10th,, they send my merchandise on July 20, 2020… And if they got here another dissapointment. . My stuff was at the center of the semi truck, I needed to wait for them to find someone else things out first, until they must mines., then the driver said, it might not have the ability to go thru. Instantly I said you understand shed my items in the gate. . So I needed to rent a pickup truck out of my uhual storage location to load it n take to back to my own unit in which my storage has been. So mind you I paid 2,400.00 to get a pick just in NJ and fall OFF into Jax, FLORIDA, along with the I HELPED UNLOAD my items, but once I saw how ruined my brand-new boxes had been medicated…n discovered broken things in my boxes,, I was so angry I wanted to shout. . I stated this isn’t appropriate in any way. I ask the driver why are my poles ruined, busted open and trashed like this , I paid for my things to be nicely treated n taken good care of and this is the way they came to me so damaged,,, Why? He said he do not understand , all he does is pick up n send not loading. He knew I was angry. . .but I’d no option except to continue to assist his one assistant load on the pickup leasing, once more had that I needed to pay to lease simply to bring my possessions to the device in which my 3 brothers n grandson waited to help me unload the pickup rental.,,,I believe I deserve to get compensated for them lying to mepersonally, trashing my things n breaking my products n for task faulty. However, I know I am not induce they’ll continue to do so to other ppl and eliminate it. However, God do not like ugly. I’ll never ever use this COMPANY EVER AGAIN AND I WILL Make Certain MY FAMILY N FRIENDS NEVER DON’T EITHER! I HOPE YOU READING THIS RECONSIDER Too!! DONT HIRE THEM!! They simply put up Great reviews on their site to allow you to engage them but once they have you to sign that contract, your pick so that they do not care., and nobody will know the facts in their business. Until you’ve had an adventure. RETHINK ABOUT HIRING THEM!

    SCAM but got caught Suckers

NEW YORK (WBAY) – The president and a worker of a moving firm that promised to be established in Green Bay were detained by the FBI on charges of wire fraud and wire fraud conspiracy.

The Better Business Bureau says it’d 49 complaints against Fantastic Moving since January from clients in 26 states. Clients said the movers additional charges on moving day that doubled or tripled the initial quote, plus they’d need to pay the charges to have their property returned. There were also complaints of damaged or missing products.

Investigators determined the business was never found in Green Bay although it utilized an address in town on business invoices and its own U.S. Department of Transportation license.

Business president Yakov Monoz and worker Tal Ohana are both from New York. They made their first appearances in federal court there.

Great Moving’s site said that the company devotes to many charities. The Better Business Bureau was not able to confirm this, and at least one employee said that it did not have some contributions from the business.
