    Great Team!

Great Team Movers were good. They were quick, effective, professional, and also a trendy men. They’ve a fantastic sense of humor and made the entire experience much less stressful. I over packed two or three big boxes and they instantly provided some free boxes to repack my novels and it did not even slow them down. Additionally, I had some very heavy things that they took good care of without difficulty. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

    Highly Recommended!

I reserved my move using Great Team Movers following yet another moving company did not bother to appear to our transfer in TX to NV. They guided us fast and obtained the movement done with no last minute haggling. They cautiously wrapped all of our furniture, disassembled our desk table and mattress and reassembled it once they transferred us in. These men will be the best that you can get in a good speed. Highly recommend Good Team Movers.

    I Recommend this Company!

I was really satisfied with my movement with Great Team Movers.  They arrived and packaged my whole flat the day prior to the transfer (I paid to get a complete packaging service) and ensure that all was packaged properly so that nothing can get busted.  The team on the afternoon of this movement was quite courteous and professional too and took the opportunity to ensure that everything has been taken care off, from its own location and reassembled. I can not thank the team enough for making my move so straightforward!

    Great job Good Team Movers

A buddy had known Good Team Movers for me personally. So I chose to offer them a call & get some advice & find a cost for my transfer. From begin to finish I had been provided lots of very valuable info. I didn’t have a clue just how much information one actually needed to understand before selecting a provider. I opted to place my movement into there hands, because my buddy had a fantastic experience and that I felt quite comfortable with them every time that I talked to them. Without going into to much detail. All went well from begining to end. The price was great, the movers were excellent and went as intended. I’ll use them again for any future movements and that I’ll refer them to anyone I know searching for a moving company they could trust!!

    Excellet Job!

I contacted 4 or 3 movers to provide me quotes from going from TX to CA. Great Team took the opportunity to come to my flat to give me a quote in person. Throughout the transfer day I believed that they did a complete outstanding job. Both gentlemen who packed my items did a fantastic job wrap all of my furniture and had the ability to swiftly and economically load the truck. Great Team were very hardworking, honest, and receptive for my follow up queries and did an superb job in executing my relocation with no issues at all. I’d certainly recommend them to your own move. Fantastic Job!

    Easy movers

This was really the best experience I ever had with a moving business. I always wait for the last minute to do anything and I truly don’t mean to but time gets away from me and besides I hate moving and packaging. Fantastic staff movers were professional, understanding and very organized. They had been on time to maneuver me and came early to unload me all with a grin! Thank you great team for creating this very simple for me without breaking my pockets:–RRB-

    Pleasantly Surprise!

We had an excellent experience with those individuals.  We had been worried as we hadn’t heard of these but we just couldn’t manage to have among those large name businesses transfer us. They were professional, so they had been comprehensive, they were great but the greatest thing I had been impressed with was that the rate. The very same men who picked us up in New Jersey were the exact men dropping off us in Miami two days afterwards.  I really don’t know whether that’s the typical turnaround time however these people do not dilly dally around. The movers spoke fluent English which has been a nice surprise. I certainly would use them again.

    Easy and Painless Move

We needed to buy from Florida to Delaware on fairly short notice. We talked to some firms and then we have a call from Sean at Great Team. They have been all professional, asked us a great deal of queries and we told them how what we intended on going. Sean created a real inventory checklist and sent that together with the quotation. Everything looked great so we booked together. We originally liked Sean, definitely the most insightful of anybody we talked with.
We didn’t hear that a great deal in the movers prior to the transfer but we have our phone per day ahead and they showed up in time. The motorist and foreman couldn’t have been nicer for people. We had been anticipating some day labour types because we had been skeptics but the two of these gentlemen were with the firm a very long time, among these over ten decades ago It is possible to observe the gap in the manner in which that they go about the transfer. They’re efficient and fast. The very best part was that the turnaround time and also we could receive our item from Florida to Delaware interior of 4 times. I’d suggest them based only on the rate of the way that they manage things. We had been quite happy with the shift.

    The Best Movers

We just had an excellent experience with Great Team Movers, both the salespersons Crystal and Rebecca were quite fine and both took the opportunity to discuss everything together and actually made me feel comfy within the different businesses which were calling me, nobody else actually clarified the movement. They picked up over time and sent around exactly the identical time I asked it and with no broken bits so I must mention these men actually remain true to the word and done excellently and within my budget. Blessed for the men it was a fairly wonderful day outside and they worked really quickly and were quite meticulous in wrap my furniture using all the blankets to stop scratches that I’d not seen before but was certainly a fantastic thing. Quite happy and certainly suggest them.

    Nice people good service

I was really pleased with great team movers in my move a couple weeks back. The salesman mike went over what in terms which I knew rather than moving mumbo jumbo and even phoned me following the movement to realize the way the movers did and thats when he requested me to post my own view of his moving firm on this site. I definately suggest all you can proceed to get a moving quote plus they did amazing for my own move. I shall send alot of company their way once I figure out other people whom I know are shifting.

    This Good Team was Great!

Like most other Americans at the last few years, our house has been under water and we ended up in foreclosure.   We had been attempting to relocate thru my spouse’s job and were set to move before the movers we had been instructed to use couldn’t appear.   I looked for help on the World Wide Web to locate Somebody Who could assist us survive minute and That’s when I got a call from Sean at Great Team.     I told Sean about our situation and he had been very understanding.   Great Team is your real moving firm and he had a truck into our home in a day.   We had complete packaging and they arrived in and packed up us.   We did not have a place to live down yet in Florida but Great Team went forward and saved All our items until we could procure a new home down in Florida.     I Believe a Good Deal of companies might have taken advantage of this fact we had been over a barrel using our initial moving business falling through at the last moment.   Sean was patient with us from Begin to finish.   I can not do them justice in this 1 review but they really are a Mom n Pop firm and we were astonished that they got our things down to Florida so quickly.   We really Weren’t prepared for shipping so that they held our things for about a week while we searched for a place to live.   The movers were professional, so they could package each inch of a truck, they wrapped all of our furniture and made certain they specially wrapped items such as the TV.   Another firm we were supposed to use was among the significant carriers and they’d lent us close to $5,000. Great Team understood the company was paying for this and might have likely padded their charges a little bit but obviously they did not.   The movement ended up only costing $3,000 and we had a 3 bedroom home with a den and plenty of furniture.     Save yourself a Good Deal of hassle and time, this really is a great company and I’d recommend them to anybody.

    Highly Recommended!

I understand that there are lots of movers however I also understand that just few are great to take care of tricky moves. The majority of the moving companies guarantee a great deal but not come close to maintain their responsibilities. But Great Team Movers isn’t like any other normal moving businesses. They understand how to serve their clients. I’ve used this business couple of months back while moving to FL. It had been quite a catchy and large move taking into consideration the amount of the merchandise and temperament of this move. However they still delivered all of the products prior to the program and also managed to provide everything in 1 piece. I have to state that they billed an extremely competitive price too. Highly suggested!

    Good Job!

These movers are all professionals. They understand how to behave in every challenging circumstance. How the moved and lifted my superb heavy stuffs was nothing less than a miracle. I had been quite concerned about the movement because there were numerous sensitive and vulnerable stuffs to be transferred however, the movers did extremely well to handle everything with no error. I’m quite happy with their performance and that I really do believe that they gave me the very greatest possible service along with the cost. It was a perfect move by Great Team Mover.

    Perfect Job!

We read several moving horror stories before, and encounter some in our home city, therefore we had trouble choosing a moving firm as it was our moment to maneuver. We believed to maneuver our 3 bedrooms dwelling ourselves but chose to offer Great Team an opportunity, to get a buddy recommended for us. Allow me to state that Great team Movers were lovely, moving us in TX to GA on April 2013. They have been on time, personable, friendly, patient, and hard working. Nothing got scratched, damaged, or missing. We weren’t charged for additional or hidden charges. We could not have asked for a much better experience. I strongly recommend them to anybody that’s fearful of choosing a moving company as we did.

    Great Experience!

This is the very first time that I ever hired professional movers also I must say it had been worth every cent. My prior experience was rather traumatic but that is exactly what I get for not choosing the experts. I contacted Great Team Movers plus they gave me exactly the prices, which are extremely aggressive. They supply you with the cost up front without any hidden expenses. Within my move day, movers came on time and were both all professional, considerate, and general had quite friendly and pleasant personalities. It ended up being a worry free movement as a result of Great Team Movers, I will certainly recommend them to all.

Good team movers - do not use!!!! You will be disappointed

I wouldn’t recommend Great Team Movers under virtually any circumstance. I would advise seeing www.movingscam.com and examine their posts on moving scams to my private account with Great Team Movers. Please read the next, account of the pricing plan, lack of communication and poor support. The final result of hiring Great Team Movers was boxes filled with damaged property in addition to a queen mattress, 3 book shelves plus a dresser being abandoned on a unlocked porch for days before I could locate a new pair of movers. While I make no promises about the legality of the practices, I genuinely felt mislead during the whole procedure, and regret not having done my study more carefully.

Pricing: Great Team movers initially lent me 700 cubic feet at speed of 3.10 percent square footage. They said the entire delivery could cost 2226.49, 40 percent due up front in the kind of cash, cashiers check or money order. When they arrived, they loaded the van initially and then after all of my freight was in their possession, they explained that it was actually 1200 cubic feet along with the new price would be 4124.48. From the list I’d given them to find an estimate I’d included an excess sofa along with a washer and a dryer, all of which I chose not to attract, yet somehow I still had 1200 cubic feet at a 1 bedroom apartment’s worth of stuff.

I followed up with the business because I doubted the precision of the measurements. The agent sent an email stating that he would personally look at the freight himself and could fire the driver/mover when he took too much distance that wasn’t there. But when I talked with him about the telephone later he stated that he hadn’t made it into their centre to check about the dimensions but that he had the driver/mover re-check it.

It’s uncertain how you are able to find an honest quote from someone whose occupation will be at stake according to exactly what that amount is. What’s more, the contract states that this dimension has to be performed at a third party public scale along with also a certified weight certificate should supply. (It wasn’t given to me personally ).

Communication: The only time where Great Team Movers communicated efficiently was until they had the 350$ deposit. After that point they’d promise to call at a particular time but neglect to do so. Additionally they seldom answered phone calls and much more seldom responded to emails.

As it came to having an estimated pickup time, I sent a few emails with no response. Additionally, I called them on many occasions. They’d promise to call at a particular time but wouldn’t call me back. I’d call them and they’d tell me once more that they would call at a particular time but didn’t. Eventually, I had been advised that the movers could come on Sunday, July 24, 2011 and that they would call on Saturday, July 23, 2011 with a estimated moment. Nobody called on Saturday. I phoned them a few times in addition to emailing them, and didn’t receive a reply until the day. They stated that the movers will arrive in the early evening. Afterwards I got a call stating that they had been running late and could arrive at 10PM. I concurred that this could be okay, however in 9:45 they called again and said it’d be nearer to midnight and that they would call when they were 30 minutes off. Reluctantly, I agreed that this could be OK. At 12:30 AM they came with out the 30 minute warning, and two movers began moving out me. It took them before 7:30 AM to complete the project, and in the point they informed me that I made more money than was initially anticipated, however since they told this to me in some time until banks were receptive, this compelled to provide them 1200 bucks in money.

While the business agent,”Mike” consented pretty fast to recount the distance, and”see what I could do about the cost”, it was hard to find an specific sum from him. I emailed them at least three occasions 4-5 days ahead of the anticipated arrival in addition to phoning him on the telephone with no response (during business hours) until I made him to contact me. He still claimed he couldn’t give me a last estimation of the distance nor the cost. He continued to not respond to my mails using a cost until one hour prior to the driver/mover phoned me to say that he was nearly there. At the end he maintained that they had miscounted and now there was just about 1000 cubic feet and that my equilibrium was 1891 (3391 total)$. The driver/mover attempted to inform me that he would be unable to unload the truck unless I paid him money (He repeatedly during the afternoon expressed displeasure regarding the sum of money the company was going to pay him to get this particular endeavor. However I denied, said that the contract stated that I can pay with a cashiers check, and then immediately went into the bank to get one made.

There seemed to be a myriad of problems for this particular company, 1) Lack of communicating with the client two ) Disagreements between the motorist and the supervisor ( and 3) A inability to gauge time correctly

Service: Maybe the communication and pricing can be missed if there support was more effective. 1) They didn’t ship enough movers. 2) The movers weren’t fast or especially hospitable and left garbage out of their packaging materials anyplace 3) There was considerable damage to both boxes along with significant furniture. 4) They ended up deciding that they simply Couldn’t get my big items around the next floor and left them down beneath

On the pickup they did ship two movers, that worked OK however took 7 hours to perform. But on the shipping they just sent one driver/mover. He had been expected to provide a 1 bedroom flats worth of things himself, such as a dresser, queen bed, couch and loveseat. He called told me that he attempted asking the supervisor”Mike” to an excess helper, and also confessed to me verbally that he had been carrying his time in hopes that Mike would send him somebody. He eventually asked me where Home Depot was and went in pursuit of a day laborer, unsuccessfully. On the pick up they left garbage from tape, boxes and other packaging material they attracted strewn about the ground, and about the delivery he even left all of their packaging blankets in addition to other garbage everywhere too.

The furniture that he did deliver up was seriously damaged. My wardrobe boxes were smashed and a few of them even turned upside down (defeating the purpose of purchasing these more costly boxes). A couple brand new boxes (that I bought from Home Depot) had gaping wholes in them. Additionally there were many others which were severely disoriented. Unsurprisingly, many things were broken, warped or broken. Adding a large framed artwork (with sharp broken glass shards), a paper shredder, roughly 4 (well-wrapped) wine glasses, a scuffed up big dry erase board and warped DVDs. Throughout the delivery he even dropped my desk top down the stairwell, damaging both the background and the stairwell. Though a few broken items might be anticipated without any moving company, the outside of those boxes indicates negligent handling.

After spending all day moving, he eventually decided that he couldn’t receive the bed, couch, loveseat, or 3 shelves up the stairwell. My landlords, who reside on the first floor had informed the inspector that the bigger items necessary to be hoisted up throughout the balcony. They even provided him with stuff to do the task, but told him that he’d require at least 2-3 more individuals to assist. After taking a look at the stairwell and throughout my flat, he simply smiled and boasted about each of the difficult moves he’d done by himself. As stated by the movers report, he first tried phoning”Mike” to secure more helpers (unsuccessfully). After failing to obtain any day laborers at Home Depot, he discovered someone when he moved to lunch (I don’t understand who this individual was or where he discovered him). Between the both of them they couldn’t receive the loveseat up. Now the mover provided me a 150$ reduction verbally if I’d cause the big products. Since I had been unsure just how a 140 pound woman in a strange new town will find huge items a balcony up, I diminished.

Subsequently”Mike” phoned me and told me that they weren’t legally bound to receive my big items in my flat when they would not go up the stairwell, that they wouldn’t hoist up items and that they might 1) Leave the things in the front door or two ) I might pay (added to the 3391) for additional movers along with a crane to receive my things in the balcony in addition to overnight storage. (Somehow that 150$ reduction vanished ). This was at 5:30 PM, after business hours and after 7 hours that the mover was about the assumptions that they advised me that they could not perform the job placing me in the plight of paying huge amounts of cash or having my belongings left on the front porch. At the end my landlords have been gracious enough to allow my things stay on a front porch with screened doors and windows, but no guards before I could call an organization which does hoisting.

When the driver/mover recognized that he did not need to bring everything up. A couple of the bookshelves that he had initially said that he might undergo the stairwell were abandoned to the front porch and while he got the kitchen table up the stairwell, he didn’t reassemble the legs and actually he abandoned it wrapped up at one of the moving blankets.

The Agency made a couple of remarks like”Money Talks” and”You get what you pay for”. He advised me that he as worked with a number of businesses and that their clinics are all the same. Additionally that he has had a great deal of disgruntled customers. When I told him that I had had a far better experience in my last long distance transfer, he explained that in the event that you go for a”specialist” moving business that you receive the support but pay the purchase price.

Overview: While I make no promises about the legality of the practices, I genuinely felt mislead during the full procedure, and regret not having done my study more closely. In case you’ve read all of the way through this, and therefore are still contemplating Great Team Movers, all I suggest is that you just do your research about the choices on the market…there are many and not all of them have this kind of service.

Good Team Movers -- Buyer Beware!!!

Dear Potential Client:   If you like your premises, under no circumstances should you include this business in your long listing.  In reality, I would advise that you don’t waste any of your valuable time even contemplating Great Team Movers since in my opinion, they’re the antithesis of a respectable, professional and quailty moving firm. Obviously, I’m very regretful that as a smart small business consumer, I permitted myself to be accepted from these pitiful amateurs for as legitimate business people.  It’s my wish to guarantee nobody else falls prey for their own unscrupulous business practices.  My experience is that they beneath bidded the job, then jumped to overcharge for the task when they understood that my choices were restricted because of a tight timeliine.  Furthermore, they delivered a Penske truck which didn’t hold all of the contents of my home.  This faux pas happened despite my getting painstakingly gone over my things with Crystal.  To add insult to injury, they jumped to float the leg on a 800 Queen Anne chair, break a floor lamp, then break my desk, scrape my brass lamps because of improper packaging and dirt my own queen mattress set so awful I needed to have them professionally cleaned despite my having paid $120 additional for mattress pad covers.  The so-called boss, Michael had the unmitigated gall to supply a paltry $70 for each of the harm they caused to my furniture.  That settlement proposal occurred after innumerable email correspondences and verbal discussions.  However, after five weeks of waiting, I have not got one dime. I’d file a BBB complaint and wanted to make sure I submitted warning messages on the bulletin boards also.  Please be aware that the BBB evaluation of an F is totally justifiable.  Don’t, I repeat don’t fall to the sham that the F score is ascribed only since they haven’t submitted the company paperwork since it’s indeed a complete and utter lie.

    Terrible experience

I’d certainly speed this business unfavorable stars if it had been possible.   Not only were they 3 days late on selecting the furniture, however it took them TWO WEEKS to provide the furniture, when it was assumed to take just 4 times. Attempting to get the firm was just another nightmare on the planet, as Nobody would phone back with any info about where my furniture was or when it’d be coming into Florida.   Upon entrance, my 2000 mattress was soaking wet and covered with mould and mildew.   My mattress is destroyed and I now need a new one.   After increasing his voice and using profanities, Michael, the director, was very proficient in tackling the situation and provided no alternative.   I STRONGLY warning anybody who’s considering using this organization.

    Long-distance move from New Jersey
Do NOT use this Moving company

If I could give this business no stars I would! I moved from New Jersey to Florida this past month and I got connected with Great Team Movers around 3 weeks prior to my move. The sales person asked me how many boxes I’d have and what furniture I’d be bring along with me. I explained that a lot of my furniture has been already in my house in Florida but my transfer would consist of largely pubs along with a Queen size matress. However there was no way I could figure how many boxes I’d have because I’d not started packing yet. I had been quoted a transfer for $900. And advised to contact them ahead of the move to upgrade stock.
I predicted several days ahead of the move and upgraded my stock and my qoute was 1700. Still seemed like a sensible cost. The movers were suppose to come back, July 14th however I got a telephone call the Tuesday prior to my transfer inquiring when they might come that afternoon to pickup I explained I wasn’t ready and I wanted my matress before I needed to escape my location. I had been asked if I’d go to Walmart and get a discount mattress in order that they could come back and pick up my items. I stated I’m not staying in my place without all of my items and also a blow up Matress for 5 times. Disbatch appeared bloated but went along with it. The Friday before my movement I had been known as telling me rather than Sat they’d be in my place on Sunday. I said okay but believed how unproffesional! Saturday the driver of this truck phoned me and asked if he could park in front of the house I stated yes that should not be any issue. However, what he FORGOT to include was that he had been driving an 18 wheeler! I also called the company and asked when I had been responsible for packaging my TV’s or would the movers I had been advised to WRAP them so I did.
Sunday came along with the movers showed up sometime in the day with an 18 wheeler that naturally couldn’t get into my property. And I had been told that I was being billed an additional 350 for a very long haul. I said nobody explained that and the driver stated well I asked you yesterday. I said you never told me how big this truck you’re driving and I surely don’t have sufficient things to fill an 18 wheeler. The motorist and myself go to a verbal debate when he stormed away and began his truck preparing to depart without taking my items. Meanwhile I had a plane ticket to the next Tuesday to visit Florida. I had to BEG the motorist to return into my own house and was made to pay the additional charge. I was also told that he wouldn’t take the TV’s unless they had been boxed I clarified I was advised to wrap them. But once more I was made to cover 130 for two boxes because of my Tv’s that I might have purchased at a packaging store for 10 dollars a piece. The pick up day was so aggravating I couldnt wait until it was finished!
The truck came in Florida 5 times afterwards and of course it couldn’t get near my own property. Another 350 to deliver the material into my property. The boxes seem like they conducted them over with a pickup truck. Some so damaged they had to tape them up at the curb because they might not life them without my items falling outside. I was only pleased to receive my items in my house and eradicate the moving business once and for all. I Won’t Ever USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND WOULD DO ANYTHING TO EDUCATE ANYONE THAT IS MOVING TO STAY AWAY THEY ARE CROOKS!

    My experience with this company

Great Team Movers, based from Florida, moved my family from PA to NJ. Please don’t seek the services of this provider. They sent two guys to maneuver us when they ought to have shipped four guys. We had a 3,400 sq. foot home packed with thick furniture. They fought to finish our movement.
This firm overcharged us. The amount has been sufficient to pay for a packaging service and moving furniture. They just moved the furniture for this charge.
And, the worst part would be that the harm to your own furniture. Nicks from the timber, scratches, wood bits chipped off.  Not just a couple of pieces.  I must have registered a claim, and it’s most likely too late. However, not too late to warn any prospective clients.  Do not employ this business if you like your furniture. P.S.. The movers weren’t professional either. It wasn’t a fantastic experience.   Tina Kelly

Worst moving company in my opinion. Beware.

In my four long distance movement, this has become the worst going experience. They’re cheaters and ripped me off, aside from causing intense psychological stress and financial harm. I registered a small court claims against them. Ultimately, gave up because I’m a busy practitioner and don’t have enough time or ability to combat those crooks. Save your time, money and reassurance and discover a moving company besides GOODTEAM MOVERS. They showed up late, dropped everything in boxes rather than correctly packaging items, delivered late, nearly double the invoice than originally sold, damaged items as well as broke things. I don’t have any worhds to spell out my anxiety working with them, when you’ve got any queries concerning this business please PM me.

    Long-distance move from Florida
    Do NOT Use-NOT Reliable

After my mom passed away I contacted Great Team Movers for a quote on what it’d cost to get a number of her own possessions transferred in the courthouse, FL to St. Joseph, MI, and that I had to know exactly the timeframe to get this done. Since the quote was fair and the timeframe was ideal that I faxed the signed contract on them and paid the deposit of $350 on 7/21/2011 and instantly sent a money purchase of $500.54 so they’d have the cash for your pick up on 07/24/2011.

#1 criticism – Great Team Movers has a 20 percent off coupon to their website. It’s for Long Distance Moves and says -“Discount applies to initial quote just”. It’s no expiration date without the additional stipulations. As soon as I told them that I would like to use it in my final invoice I was advised by”Mike” (the office manager) and also”Itamar” (the general manager) that I am only able to use it until I had been given a quote. I pointed out that there were not any stipulations besides that I could just use it about the initial quote. They both then explained that they no longer honour the vouchers. I pointed out that all the vouchers were still on their website. I had been advised that the vouchers shouldn’t be on the website and that they were all sorry. As soon as I told them that I had intended on pursuing so, Itamar told me that I had been free to do this and they’d be happy to just keep my items in storage. I used to not valued this danger and intimidation.

#2 issue – I had been told in two mails (that I still have) out of Crystal – that the client rep., which following my mom’s possessions were chosen up”the projected delivery is 2-7 days. 7 times being on the high end. It is normally a place where in the center.” After all, many mails and lots of telephone calls (in my part – not their doing) my mom’s possessions were eventually delivered 38 days after.

They had my cash ($850.54) along with also my things for 38 times after I had been told 2-7 days. I had been provided a reduction of $102 to these being late, and that I needed to struggle to receive any discount. “Itamar” and”Mike” attempted to again intimidate me into composing an email saying that I take the $102 off my equilibrium so that the movers could consider that off my invoice if they delivered my things, but I didn’t do this. They refused to honor the 20 percent off the initial quote. That is false advertising!

I am trusting my critique saves even 1 man from going through exactly what I did! Please test out http://www.movingscam.com.

    Long-distance move from Florida
    Disappinted...

This is the worst going experience in my entire life! It tool above a month to receive my things, and they did not inform me just how long or some other scenario although I requested (they did not even answer the telephone the majority of the period ). When I received my things, men just brought a newspaper job and dashed me to signal, zero confirmations. After that, I understood there were overlooking boxes and ruined items…

    Long-distance move from California
    Terrible moving company!!!

Simply pointing out the clear, but a worker of a firm should not be writing an outline to the identical firm…

My move has been chased with Crystal Martins of Great Team Movers. The scheduled delivery date was August 16 and that I supported this date along with her a couple of days prior to the transfer because I had to make arrangements to travel in my previous home to my brand new one. The movers never showed up on August 16, but just called in the day to say that they would come during the following moment. I still had to leave my previous home that evening, however, due to non traditional resort bookings I’d already made. The movers stated that I was able to inform the landlord to allow them at the following day, and they’d fill my possessions on the truck to get me. I told me that this could be OK, gave them a listing of all of the significant things in my flat, and advised them to phone me to offer me an verification after they’d loaded my possessions. But they didn’t contact me later and didn’t supply me with a list checklist before shipping. I contacted Great Team Movers concerning my dispatch and stock checklist and they didn’t offer any info. My things have been scheduled to arrive in my new home on August 26, but weren’t delivered before September 9. Additionally, I contacted Great Team Movers concerning the place of my dispatch at the meantime, however they didn’t write or phone me back. In this period I had been staying in my new apartment which has been unfurnished, and that I had been sleeping on the ground.

This was particularly inconvenient since I needed to begin work on September 1, but nevertheless had to take some time off to clear customs on September 7 and then stay at home to await the movers to arrive around September 9. When I eventually obtained my things, many things were broken, like a bookshelf, a TV stand, along with 2 floor lamps. These were all photographed from the movers that delivered those products. Additionally, my 27 inch iMac and iPod audio system were lost. The amount that I needed to cover the shipping was also nearly $1000 over the added value, and Great Team Movers have not been ready to supply any type of clear excuse for those prices. The business that delivered my things in Canada wouldn’t give me my possessions unless I paid the price in full. I’ve sent questions to Great Team Movers, and so far they haven’t responded or provided to help me in any manner.

    Do Not Trust Them

My secretary utilized them; they had been 6 days late in shipping; added an extra $150 fee which sky-rocketed to $300 within one hour; they ruined three of her things afterward told her”Big deal; visit Home Depot to repair it.” They’re, in my view, untrue, and plead upon vulnerable individuals.

    Long-distance move from Georgia
The worst moving and customer service experience EVER

I have done lots of research about choosing a moving company until I decided to go with great team movers. Their quoted costs were mid-spectrum (perhaps not on the very low end) and at that time that there were not any terrible reviews (which I could locate ) online on them.

I was greeted cordially once I phoned and asked a quotation. The quotation given at the period was $1280.00 The practice of requesting that the quotation and information moved easily. In the time that I inquired if the firm did their very own moving and Crystal known me for their DOT number and stated that yes indeed they do their very own moving along with the DOT number recorded in their site is a sign of the fact of this announcement.

Following a date has been arranged for pickup and I’d given them my credit card info to your $350.00 deposit, a couple of days prior to the pickup date, I got a call in Crystal asking whether it’d be possible for your truck to be in my place a couple of days earlier. This is a little inconvenience but not a enormous issue so that I readily consented.

Two gentlemen using a truck which already had any furniture inside showed up in my door, phoning ahead to organize the time and allow me to know when they’d be there.

And, this is when things started going bad…

The 2 movers did a number of the packaging (for the purchase price of $270.00). I used to not have some too large furniture and my own items were the equal of a studio flat. These men were tired out of a movement which they had completed in 3:00am that afternoon and so were in a rush to complete the move. This led to under appropriate packing attempts and to show the purpose of the difficulties, they abandoned two wooden palettes along with also three bits of wooden furniture (that I presume were elements of another poor soul furniture) from the face of the home. I didn’t observe these until after they’d abandoned. I emailed good team movers (Crystal) and also inform them about it and never heard back in that.

Then, since I moved into my destination, then it took me some time to discover somewhere to lease. I knew this could happen so I’d asked the 1 month free storage. Once I did find my own location, I phoned them and let them know I would be all set for them to get a September 1st shipping. It is said that they will provide withing 14 days of the day that you’re prepared for shipping. But after several un-answered telephone calls and emails, I eventually spoke to Crystal who spoke to Mike (that couldn’t come to the telephone at the time) and explained that my items would be sent within a week (This happened in the close of the fist week of September). After a week or so, I got a telephone along with also the gentleman on the opposite side said that my items will be sent to the 17th of September. Be aware that this is over the guaranteed days.

The truck came on the promised day and my items were sent into the new location. The men were professional and worked quickly. There was a little box of kitchen stuff and the bottom of a lamp (or anything like ) which weren’t mine. As soon as I pointed this to the delivery men (3 of these ) they chose the substance. I afterwards discovered the box and also the bottom close to the primary garbage container in which I reside. Thus, somebody else’s matters were abandoned by the garbage. Incidentally, these men were from another firm hired by Great Team movers to perform this particular delivery.

As soon as I began looking at my items, there were scratches all around the furniture. There is a foot print in addition to my TV standalone. My desk has been broken and won’t stand up on it’s own. I’d grey bags that included clothing. One of these had been crushed. It’s unusable. I’ve broken walkers, broken vinyl boxes that were indoors other boxes. All of the furniture was covered with a thick coating of black soil, using white smudges at a few regions.

I phoned Great team movers and asked them on a claim type. The desk has been worth roughly 200 bucks. I’d purchased it from Target. I had been requested to send them photographs of the issues.

I sent the photographs into Crystal as an attachment to a email and asked confirmation of the receipt of this email. No news for a single week. I phoned them after a week and then inquired if they’d obtained the email. Yes, even they had and asked if I’d received the claim type. No, regardless of such email or email was obtained by me. So, I had been assured and got the email from Mike which has the promise from having a explanation of what has to be accomplished.

But during our conversation over the telephone, I had been advised that my items were scratched if they were obtained. That’s not the situation, I just took pictures of those scratches brought on by mishandling of my furniture with great team movers. Old scrapes and new types have various kinds of wear and texture.

When I inquired how come they’d hired another firm for shipping, I had been told all moving businesses do so for east coast versus west coast deliveries. In other words, since Great team movers are situated on the east shore they hire somebody else to provide in the west shore. This wasn’t said to me once I originally asked Crystal when they did their very own moving using their own trucks or else they hired somebody else.

In Summary, here are some great reasons NOT to Employ Decent team movers to the moving needs:

    1. Unprofessional tackling of furniture (foot and broken print)
    2. Deficiency of attention for people’s house (I’m sorry for the Men and Women who dropped the portion of the kitchen and lamp furniture)
    3. Deficiency of Appropriate communication when things go wrong (I needed to telephone and mail several days to get an response )

    4. Unprofessional behavior when things go wrong
    5. Communication of misleading data

    Did every single thing WRONG

Terrible packaging job. Late shipping. Held our possessions hostage while demanding more cash before shipping, in breach of federal regulations that say they could charge another percentage, but has to provide you 30 times AFTER delivery to cover the excess quantity. “Missing” our furniture for weeks, between Florida and California. Each piece of furniture within our very hardy bedroom place has been gouged. A number of different items ruined. Case in point: they packaged a brand new white down comforter at a box with left wing stamps out of our house office, without so much as wrap inked stamps. Therefore, white down comforter is currently stained with red ink, eternally.
Never responded in writing to our compensation claim, in violation of national regulations. Never paid a cent on our settlement claim, even though we eventually agreed to pay for a measley couple hundred bucks. Should you ever have to talk to”Mike,” be well prepared. He is always either”at a meeting” or even”at dinner .” DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
