Golden Star Moving

Two weeks ago I composed review of this particular movers. I’ve got an upgrade. They’re keeping my things as hostage before I pay the additional $300. Only 15 hours prior to the shipping that they discovered that their truck wouldn’t fit in to my flat street. They should rent a bigger truck, so that they must bill me $300 longer for this. Initially I refused to cover that excess cost, after I consented to pay and requested them to charge it to me. However, the firm said I must cover during the shipping together with the equilibrium $588 in money. I thought that is a scam, and so I told them that I won’t pay this additional money throughout the shipping, they ought to charge it to me. Now they’re holding my things since hostage. I guess that my stuff is currently here in Birmingham and they’re likely to ask me that the storage price also. This type of terrible organization.

I strongly urge not reserving a transfer through Golden Star Moving Business! Although I usually prefer not to post bad reviews for almost any company, I feel pressured to temporarily share my absolutely horrible experience with Golden Star in hopes that other people can avoid using an identical experience. At the time that I booked my interstate movement, I was repeatedly assured that my possessions would be sent within five days of pickup notwithstanding how the normal quote supplies Golden Star with extra moment. However, in spite of calling numerous times daily after the 5th day, my possessions didn’t arrive until 16 days after pickup! Worse yet, during this 16 day interval, Golden Star refused to give me a firm shipping date before about 1 hour prior to my things came.

Further, when I’d call to determine the exact location of my possessions and if they’d really arrive, I had been repeatedly advised that the products were”in their way” or contributed other advice that I think was untruthful. When I’d ask to talk with the supervisor, she immediately began praying to take or return my calls. On other events, I had been placed on hold for extended period of times (around 20 minutes). Together, I’d guess that I spent hours simply looking for out where my possessions were and when they were going to be sent. Since I couldn’t receive any reliable information during this 16 day interval, I was often left wondering if my things were lost/destroyed and thus, if they’d ever really arrive.

Additionally, since the insurance coverage simply provides for just 6 cents a pound for harm, I had been made to lease”crates” for certain things which were valuable to me. Though I had been charged an extra $330 for all these”crates,” I never saw any such crates once the items eventually did arrive. Obviously, multiple things were damaged during the transfer. While the strain of an interstate movement is already important, Golden Star made my movement considerably more trying through what I think to be false guarantees, impolite behavior, and dreadful customer support. In closing, I strongly recommend against booking a move through Golden Star and invite other people to share any comparable experiences they have had with this organization.

I am sorry that I’m just posting my review today; maybe a few other individuals would have been spared the trouble of handling this horrible firm. When I had been seeking to go interstate, about one year before, I couldn’t find any reviews on the internet, however I booked together , as I had a severe time crunch. The guy I talked with over the telephone was fine, and he gave me a quotation depending on the possessions I recorded – and I truly went through all of it! On Friday afternoon, we waited till the movers showed up, beyond their expected arrival time. Four guys took the whole afternoon to load on the truck, complaining that the whole time about just how much material we’d (we had been at an apartment, incidentally!) After my items were largely loaded, the principal mover called me out and explained that the cost would be significantly more than the 4000 quoted, since we had more substance than anticipated (we didn’t have additional stuff). He also offered to bill us a greater sum more on newspaper, if we slid some money into his pocket, unrecorded. When I refused, the mad guy told us it’d be 8000, twice the cost quoted, or they’d unload on the yard. Since my material was already loaded, I had to proceed, and this guy was considerably bigger than me, I had been made to sign.
Since my new home wasn’t likely to be prepared for a week, then we’d organized free storage with all the movers before we were prepared for shipping. Throughout the following week, we attempted to get in touch with the supervisors concerning this ridiculous cost. While we first got compassion from 1 supervisor, we’re unable to attain her after that initial dialog. The supervisors won’t talk with youpersonally, and you’ll spend hours running around on the telephone. We attempted to get in touch with the attorney general, and also to have attorneys contact with the business, however, the movers wouldn’t budge. We finally agreed to cover the complete amount, since they had been holding each of our possessions hostage, we’ve got three young kids, and tripping would require an excessive amount of money and time.
After we called to get our items sent, it required a very long time until we could find a verification of if they’d come. We repeatedly said we wouldn’t be available on Friday or Saturday for shipping. Needless to say, they predicted late Thursday to allow us understand the delivery are the morning after. The movers showed up late, and now if we were not longer accessible (because we understood we had limited time on Friday), we needed to shoo off the movers, and build the remainder of the furniture ourselves.
In general, this really is a terrible company to manage. We had been scammed from additional cash, we needed to await delivery, plus they weren’t careful with our possessions, placing”Fragile”-marked boxes in the base of the pile. You cannot talk to anybody on the telephone, since it appears that there is some outsourcing happening this, and anybody who can help won’t come to your telephone. Save your cash, and a great deal of annoyance, nor employ those movers!

Gold Star moving is extremely cheap since they do not offer enough employees to fill out the job. The employees aren’t professional and do not deal with the things with care. They broke stereo speakers a turntable, crystal glasses and wrapped a bespoke table farther down the road so that they would not need to pick it up ruining the wood $5,000.00 harm after there attempt at repair the table is a complete loss. They provided $300.00 compensation.

They’re fraudsters. . !!!! All these are liars…. !!! They delayed a great deal and giving me all wrong information for shipping. While reserving for Moving the merchandise, they explained that the prices are comprised 2nd floor. I’ve got all in email but still billed me $225.00. Additionally damaged my products – Furniture and house hold things. Further they lost my boxes and sent additional’s boxes to me. They consented to build the furniture in Delivery. The Delivery men dump all went and furniture. He explained speak with Moving Gold and company start isn’t picking up my mobile phone. While reserving had a note with Mike 1, Mike2, Haidi, Tom, Alex however are all liars.

To be truthful I wasn’t thinking to write a review, just because I did not have any serious complaints. Nevertheless my Moving consultant/sales rep asked me to please write a critique, so that people may understand that this business really does have the capability to do a fantastic job. Mostly people that aren’t fulfilled write testimonials, and it is only fair I let you guys know my expertise. I had been quoted a little over $1400 for 500 cubic feet, and my rep Kyle was so polite, professional and patient. She made certain that we went through each bit of furniture in detail, since she stated she wanted to be certain pricing was true. Anyways, about the afternoon of my transfer I got a telephone call in the driver when he was approximately 30 minutes off, although they had been approximately 15 minutes late that they were professional and did an excellent job loading and wrap my possessions. I was only charged an extra $75 for stair charge, but that was it. I obtained my items in 6 days as soon as they picked up them, and that which was in tact. As I said no serious complaints. Only thing Trey should improve in is that the time, which has been minor. I’d suggest them for certain. I’d personally urge their worker Kyle, just because she had been my Private rep.

The packers packaged everything closely but once our possessions were moved to another, larger truck most of my lucite storage baths have been destroyed along with a wheel of the gas BBQ grill had been broken off and delivery was 5 times in relation to the firm told us it’d be.

I scheduled a movement with Golden Star from Brooklyn on short note. They could accomodate my pickup date and even though it wasn’t a big movement they nevertheless delivered at a sensible time period. I’ve moved many times previously and I have had a few positive and negative experiences. I’d certainly suggest Golden Star for my friends and loved ones.
