Transferring Day 10/31/19: Programs are overdue. The things we’re moving are at a self storage device. They’re wrapped and sanded (although my cost involves this support )(nevertheless, I don’t get a reduction or much better support because of this). After the driver to your moving company arrives (perhaps not a Gold Typical worker ) he says the things to select up THAT WERE ON HIS LIST setup FROM GOLD STANDARD (dependent on the comprehensive LIST WE GAVE Gold Standard) will take up more space than the contracted quantity. The new quantity TO MOVE THE very same ITEMS had been $1,000 over that which Gold Standard had advised us.

We were informed we’d understand our brand new shifting date with Sunday. We might expect to get things transferred by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. It’s Tuesday afternoon and we still do not own a time or date.

I Cannot GIVE ANY EVIDENCE THAT I HAVE BECAUSE It’s Going to BE Utilized IN A COURT OF LAW. However, I HAVE LOTS AND It’s Going to BE POWERFUL! In Addition, AS A CHRISTIAN I FOLLOW GOD’S LAW, AND WHAT I AM REPORTING HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MONEY. It’s about TRUTH AND JUSTICE. There’s NO COINCIDENCE. THAT IS HOW THEY OPERATE TIME AND AGAIN.

Listen, I have literally never written a critique in my whole life except for AIRBNB. Gold Standard Relocation is dreadful and you’ll get scammed. They’ve a pattern and practice of lowballing quotes to force you in signing a contract, and then clumsily attempting to utilize the contract to protect their deplorable practices. Please, go to the BBB and see for yourself. I actually gave them the measurements of my storage device AND a product by item stock (TO THE specific ITEM) plus they lowballed me onto the cubic footage (that needless to say I didn’t compute ). My transfer has been exponentially more and that they did nothing to clarify the underestimation by these , nor pay for the cost differential or perhaps apologize. In reality, two months out of my materials being picked up and it is sitting at a warehouse in LA rather than in Chicago in which my house is. I am totally without my house goods and there is no excuse out of them or their inspector since Gold Standard has vanished despite getting my deposit. I am left completely helpless using a mover I didn’t even hire. Again, assess the BBB–there’s a very clear pattern and practice of deceiving clients. They’ll also make assurances on your telephone and then hide behind contract speech they frequently breach and force you into registering –As an attorney I can inform you, that is not the way contract law functions. Last, I’ve sent no less than 4 emails requiring an excuse and they’ve vanished (WITH my residue ) and along with my possessions in a totally different nation –my guess is how they will respond to the review to the general public but to not make me whole or to finish my movement.

I pulled out items and still ended up using more CubicFeet??? Oh, the sub-contractor may add extra fees (for instance, a long-haul transport $450 additional ), and if you inform them which you discussed that with Gold Standard and have been confident that wouldn’t be a problem if particular accommodations were created, they state”File a claim”. Completely unprofessional yet again. Instead of when you attempt to email the Customer Service folks, they BLAME it to the customer. They show no compassion about how dreadful their”support” is and are extremely competitive in their own responses. Consequently, if you’d like your relocation to cost double what they estimate alongside outrageous prices, unexperienced and unprofessional drivers, EXTREMELY EARLY deliveries (we agreed upon a shipping date in the time of pickup since I was awaiting my apartment rental to begin, they came in 3 times as the motorists were driving 12-13 hour days), broken furniture, scratched doorframes, is different, along with an extrememly painful encounter together with HORRIBLE customer service, you have discovered the provider is for you. The pickup window has been to be 8-11 am. I was perplexed, I had never talked to some Jerry, I had been advised different dates, and Jerry was also rude and horrified when I had been asking him questions since I had been worried the info was not matching up.

So I phoned GSRELO’s key number again to validate…I talked to Cohen and obtained a response of”In case Caitlin told me Sunday then it is likely Sunday.” He checked and called some things, then phoned me back and informed me my pickup date was really Saturday, NOT Sunday, and also the”Jerry” individual that called me was out of the moving solutions, not by GSRELO. I gave them the money purchase, and the most important man, D, asked me to sign the paperwork. He was impatient with me when I had questions. They banged about my furniture when attempting to get it outside of the home although we gave them ample space and transferred anything else. There were 3 different pickup places, and in the next one both motorists were asserting fairly violently and that I felt dangerous although it was not directed at mepersonally. Perhaps being couped up at a truck provided that jointly gets to them, but this whole matter was unprofessional. D has been ordering me about Shouting”COME HERE!” When he had to tell me some thing. “HEY! DO THIS, DO THAT!” . Extremely unprofessional and was afraid I would do anything to make him angry. I was polite the entire time, I gave them every 3 bottles of cold water since I am certain they were tired and exhausted by the heat, also enabled them to use the restroom in my house since they had to. I had been polite and obtained NOT the exact same thing.

Here we are just 6 days after and I’ve still not got my things. NOBODY called me personally to inform me ANY upgrades in any way. That they WON’T, Professional Service…NOT A CHANCE, compute proper cubic feet utilized…. They’ll ADD approximately 400 cubic feet on to everything you use, so just plan on departing furniture BEHIND since they’ll bill you over the true value of your stuff. In addition to that each sub-contractor may add extra fees and every firm said that they have not heard of Gold Standard formerly…RED FLAG. Consequently, if you’d like your relocation to cost double what they estimate, frustrated drivers, late night deliveries, broken furniture, scratched doorframes, is different, and also a debilitating experience, this firm is right for you. We hired the moving agent, Gold Standard Relocation from Sarasota, FL region, who subsequently scheduled our relocation from TOQA movers of Scranton, PA.. We never received receipts from TOQA & many things were sent damaged in addition to missing athletic gear worth over $600. We advised Gold Standard Relocation while the movers were still unloading the vehicle. Item descriptions & pictures were emailed to both businesses another day according to Gold Standard Relocation. We were subsequently advised that TOQA movers manage all problems”in house” & under national authorities had 120 days to make amends. TOQA never reacted to e-mails, letters or calls from our lawyer. We were later informed by Gold Standard Relocation which TOQA moving business was no longer in company & nothing can be done in order to assist people with settling our reductions.

Employed them. Made it seem so straightforward.
Came week later contract stated they’d be present to find out our little load. It was subsequently saved for two weeks someplace in Ohio and things was picked up,in Tennessee

My move with Gold Standard was one of the most horrific encounters and experiences of my life. Their customer service is terrible – the employees will blame everything on you, they will lie to you, they will fail to do their jobs.

They lied to me from the initial sales call forward. I even have recorded calls (because I stopped trusting them) where I was told one thing, and then the same person a week later told me a completely different story…. And when I confronted her to say that not only did I have her lies on recording, but she KNEW her lies were being recorded, still tried to lie to me and told me I was the one who was wrong.

The only reason my things got to my home was because I took it upon myself to do their job for them. I was the one who called to get the updates and mover information. I was the one who spoke with the dispatcher and arranged the delivery. Gold standard called me AFTER my things had arrived to let me know they were on their way. This company has no business being in business – check them out on the BBB and read the 30+ complaints that have been registered against them in under 10 months.

Also of note – my moving costs were $1300 more than quoted and their delivery company arrived demanding an additional $700 cash before unloading my home.

Cost has risen 2 times because first arrangement. Picked up our belongings two weeks ago and Sam can’t inform us in which the truck is or if it’ll be delivered as mentioned in June 5, 2020! After reading the various reviews which a few are about, I cannot work out how they’re justifying what they’re charging us! Nobody on here has even close to the charge we’ve incurred. They’ve told me that it might improve if a 18 wheeler cannot get into the home. Where is my stuff? Are you changing the cost? Why not know when it’ll be delivered? I intend on submitting this review on each potential site. Bait and switch scam artist!

MOE THE OWNER FOR THE MOVING COMPANY GOT UPSET WITH ME AS I WAS INQUIRING ABOUT EXTRA CHARGES ($140) FROM HIS MOVERS (THEY WANTED IN CASH) CALLED HIS MEN AND TOLD THEM TO TAKE MY BELONGINGS OFF THE TRUCK AND PUT THEM BACK INTO MY APARTMENT. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I won’t ever use a moving business again. I listened and called with detail about what that happened – that they never called me again. I said I believed it was 75 feet so that I should not need to pay a commission, he showed me that the contract, and it stated 50 feet. He then said I paid just for a single pair of stairs, and that only covers seven measures. I said I believed it was 12 measures, he showed me that the contract again and it said seven. This wasn’t exactly what I remembered, so I unpacked my pc and discovered that the backup that I signed sure enough, my contract said 75 ft and 12 measures. Like what’s that about? Then the driver said it isn’t important since I’m 81 feet in the truck, but he did not have a tape measure, he measured with his real feet by walking cure to toe! I must have challenged him, but I didn’t have my tape measure. When it was all said and done, they inform me it had been 350 Cubic ft, and charged me $350 additional dollars. I did have more substance than initially quoted, however they advised me at the quotation that I had 60 cubic feet of buffer distance. I asked him the way the distance got consumed so quickly and he said”well you sofas were much bigger than we planned”. As soon as I received my sofas, they were all shrink wrapped, however they did not do that in my location when they quantified the entire quantity of my things, but afterwards, so dishonest.

I stated a 18-wheeler could get up my road no issue, and he stated he seemed on GPS and google maps and stated it couldn’t. I told him I refused to pay a $350 fee, unless the 18-wheeler shows up and really cannot get down the road, because I’m sure it could. He said he’d”red list” me and hold my things until paid since my stuff was already on a bigger truck.

The day that the movers were supposed to arrive was July 15th at 8AM. I had been up waiting for them, and because I’m expecting a semi-truck goes driving down the street, and so I hurried to have a picture as evidence, but was not quick enough. Happily when the motorists showed up at 10 AM (I didn’t care for them being late at all) They didn’t attempt and charge me the additional charge. But they did deny to take my sofas up the staircase. They left them on the porch saying that it wasn’t feasible to receive those sofas within that apartment. Once they left my roommate and I got them in without a problem took two of us around thirty minutes. I begin unpacking my things, and find that my TV is crushed. It had been packaged in the right TV box with Styrofoam, so that they must have actually dropped it challenging. Besides this TV, the leg of my bedside table has been broken off, and many dishes were broken although they had been all wrapped in foam wrap paper.
