    Long-distance move from Florida
    Never showed

They had been to arrive between 11 and 1. No call or show so that we called and we are to advised they had mechanical difficulty so that it would be about 3. 3 arrived however no movers without a telephone. We predicted and we are told that the 1 bedroom move they’d turned in to a 4 bedroom which has been 1.5 hours off and they’d be here by 8. Eight arrived after which nine without a movers along with a telephone call. After we predicted they didn’t even understand how we had been but once he eventually did he said the truck ran out of petrol on 75 so they’d send an automobile mechanic. Seriously! You believe I will provide you duty of my possessions once your guys are not able to place gas I. The Frickin truck? Waiting to get a refund but thank God it moved via paypal.

    Dishonest & Overcharged for Service

We’d utilized GM Vanlines about two years ago for a local movement in Coral Springs, Florida. For the movement, we had no difficulties.  When I was going again, I contacted GM Vanlines via phone to get a transfer from Coral Springs to Tamarac, Florida. Oded (Owner) lent me a rate of $960.00 (without boxes). I paid a $200 deposit on the telephone on 12/11/14 to procure a January 1st, 2015 move date.
The first quotation for the service was $960.00  (without shifting any boxes). Then I made a decision to incorporate the boxes to get an extra $314.00.  This brought the total to $1274.00 and an extra $100.00 surcharge for overtime which caused a grand sum of $1374.00.  The entire cost of $1374.00 affirms the paperwork filed by GM Vanlines.  But, GM Vanlines insist on charging us $2134.00. That’s an overbill quantity or gap of an extra $760.00.  It’s apparent  that they are billing from the the field and at the workplace for exactly the identical support and amount.  If you telephone the office,  Agathy does not appear to understand the issue.
Back in 01/2015, I discovered an extra cost of $760.00 from GM Vanlines.  I immediately contacted Oded(Owner) Vanlines to notify him of the excess charge. He suggested that he discovered it and that one (1) trade was through his Paypal account and a different through SQ and that I had to speak to the charge card company to dispute it. Depending on the talk with Oded, I advised the credit card business. Whenever I dispute the further cost of $760.00, GM Vanlines contest the fee and then supplies falsified record that includes forged signature and date. This thing has been ongoing since January 2015.
On April 8th, 2015, we again sent  via facsimile a copy of the above mentioned explanation and charge card statement s to Oded to underline the error.  So far, they’ve failed to react.
They know how to conduct their credit card terminal to bill customers but lack comprehension when it is time to charge their clients who they have intentionally more billed.  In cases like this, it is $760.00.

    Great commercial movers

We utilized GM van lines to get a commercial relocation. They transferred our medical office in Pompano Beach, FL into El Paso, TX. Personally, I contacted with several moving companies but got the best price out of Sarah of all GM van lines. It was great to detect their punctuality, dedication and professionalism. These men are perfectionists. They arrived with a strategy and never seemed out of varieties for an instant. Each of the expensive instruments were well wrapped, boxed and cushioned and delivered precisely how abandoned for El Paso. There was nothing to whine for but tons of reasons to praise for. Well done men.

    Horrible Service

I’d like to inform you a little about our movement.   I had been told (I believe by the proprietor ) on Monday, June 29th, Once I predicted, that the next day (Tuesday, June 30th) there could be two packers in my house in 9AM to Begin our package.   The Initial men showed up at 12:30PM.   Not a Excellent signal but not a Enormous deal in the scheme of all things.   You will find 4 packers after the truck was there and the owner was there Too.   I Think the owner left around 5PM.   Besides asking some questions on what went along with what didn’t go, they packers functioned independently.   I informed them I’d take the fluids and packaged the refrigerator and freezer myself.   Additionally, I packed the Whole master toilet since they’d forgotten to get it done.   At approximately 11:30PM (yes, 11 hours after ) and afterwards re-packing the truck at least twice, two of those men turned into a physical altercation in my sack and a few of them captured from his girlfriend’s car and abandoned.   They didn’t complete loading the truck before 3AM.   Yes, That’s right, 3AM, over 14 hours after they began.   When I transferred from Ft. Lauderdale into Dania Beach, packaging, loading, driving, and UNLOADING took less than 10 total hours.   Since it was 3AM from the time that they had been completed, I didn’t have time to clean the house, nor didn’t have enough time to drive into Sarasota.   I needed to incur the Expense of a hotel room ($130) and a cleanup team ($160) since I needed to maintain Sarasota another morning to Satisfy the realtor, get the keys, and fulfill with the truck.   Furthermore, since I needed to depart before the cleanup was all completed, my spouse needed to send a Few of the things we’d packed in her automobile via Fedex Ground therefore She’d have space in her automobile to make the shop vac, vacuumcleaner, and cleaning equipment.   That cost us an extra $200.   So, we’d nearly $500 in extra costs Due to the incompetence and complete lack of professionalism exhibited by this team.   It did not seem any of these had the expertise to direct the team or package the truck.   And, according to how our things came, obviously none of these had ever successfully packed either.   Whoever packed the front cupboard, along with my resources and other items, didn’t utilize much 1 piece of paper.   He pulled boxes of bolts and screws to the box Before placing a piece of tape onto the front to keep them shut.   When they came there were still hundreds of screws in the bottom of the box.   He also threw in lightbulbs.   No box, no newspaper, only lightbulbs at a box having a ton of tools.   Obviously All of the light bulbs bankrupt.   Whoever stuffed the kitchen also did not Appear to wish to use newspaper.   This comprised a open box of baking soda plus 2 open chili bags (either add upside down).   When those came everything from the box was coated with bread and baking soda.   Additionally, in the bottom of the box, below most of the heavy dry great, were 6 coffee mugs along with a Whole Lot of things packed to our metal garbage can.   The garbage can was all mangled and needed to be thrown off.   The cups were all broken and also needed to be thrown off.   Why Would Anybody pack a box having a open (didn’t even have a high ) box of baking soda?   And why can you put the glass/breakable things on the floor and then throw a Whole Lot of thicker items at the top.   After attempting to solve this with the firm, I had been told I needed to submit a claim for your broken things (approximately $5000 worth of things ) that could take around 120 days, and they had been reluctant to do anything to compensate us for the additional costs we had to survive on account of the shortage of capability/professionalism/experience of this team.

    Horrible experience

Horrible encounter in my entire life!!! I approached GM Van traces to transfer from Florida to Illinois. Initially all of my bag was picked up to time by 3 men and put in some place in Florida. Afterwards I transferred to new location and  took new flat at Illinois and gave them the address to provide my bag, it’s been over 11 days and nothing has ever occurred. When ever I call them that they just says”After truck begins they’ll give me a telephone” it has not occurred. My bag got hauled up in Florida, god knows whether it’ll be delivered.

    Go With Someone Else

I am writing this review in the ground of the empty apartment in Phoenix. I transferred from Tampa for work and my firm gave me the choice to select my own mover. I picked GM Van Lines because of price and their rather great reviews and that I regret the choice I made. My principal POC was Agatha that I explained my position to and informed that I wanted my things at Phoenix from October 1st. I got an email out of their firm stating that they did loose quotes (which I have gotten several already) so originally called to program a single but had been advised that they were not likely to send out anyone because I had a little movement (initial red flag).

I wound up sending her an itemized record that the following provider gave me and she informed me of my own rate. On August 17th, we picked September 17th at 8:00am as a pickup time and date that’s compatible with my job schedule and make certain my things would arrive before or on October 1st, because they give you 30 free days of storage. The week of this transfer, I phone Agatha to affirm (because she did not ) and sent to an email because I could not achieve her with a last collection of items I had packaged. No reply.

September 17th, 8:00’m gets here and nobody shows up. I phone at 9:00am and I am told there is an problem with all the truck and they are attempting to figure out it and will phone me right back. I predict 2 hours after, because nobody calls me back, and I am told they are sending a different truck to get there between 4 and 2. The movers do not arrive till 7:00pm, may hardly SPEAK (not only English but any records ) but informs me that I need to sign paperwork which does not have any info on it. No costs, number already paid, sum because, actually nothing. A dishonest person would have taken benefit but I jumped to perform their job and input from the amount that I paid for the deposit, so the sum I paid at pickup along with the sum because of shipping, the things I needed them pick up, etc.. It was a mess but they put my things on the vehicle and I am assuming that the owner Obed amazes me when the men were still at my home after they’d abandoned.

I predict the next Monday to make certain that everything was still on schedule but nobody replies. I likely called 2-3 more instances to merely receive their voice mail or someone to say they’ll call me back to support rather than. I am livid at this time and doubtful that my things will arrive in any way, let alone on time. I am finally able to have Agatha on the telephone this week demanding that she puts me an ETA in my things, describing to her my frustrations with the support I have received and asking a reduction for a hassle. Agatha has listening problems so rather than knowing that they have dropped the ball, so she proceeds to shout back at me that it must arrive at a different 3-4 days? Perhaps?

Moving is stressful in itself, particularly when you’re moving across the nation to your own job and coping with different sellers. Do your self a favor and select another person more valid than those people. I know what happen and has been ready to get something to go wrong however each step in this procedure was awakened and I haven’t obtained one apology. None. Yes they are cheap but it is not worth the hassle, so the disrespect and chance which you might not receive your things, let alone on the time. I’d propose Wheaton or even United/Hildrup. They were quite nice and they are costs were approximately $1K more.

    HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

We’re simply taking the opportunity to write this to assist and stop the others from suffering reductions. We had a dreadful experience with GM Van Lines located in Pompano Beach. They ruined lots of our furniture. They provide people the run around. For starters, they employ people off the road with very little if any expertise to help with their movements. Among the men that they brought to the pickup place was quite drunk (drunk) and did not deal with the furniture with care. He smelled just like alcohol. In reality, among the condominium association workers from the construction requested him to depart after discovering how drunk he was and also to avoid any harm to the lifts or common locations. The proprietor of GM Van Lines later affirming his intoxication fired him at work. Second, GM Van Lines did not attract their particular moving truck. They attracted a lease. They seem to be a tiny operation vs. the reason why they attempt to depict. Third, they saved our furniture and belongings for a number of weeks at another party warehouse with no air conditioning. They wouldn’t disclose the place for us or let us access. On account of this absence of air conditioning, the many expensive items were ruined. However they claim to own climate control storage and also get their own warehouses. Additionally they outsource moves from out of the city. Lesson learned: Obtain extra insurance and find somebody fair, professional and dependable to take care of your move. The $0.60 per pound that they offer is inadequate and you need to jump through several hoops to maintain it. They make it a very tough and lengthy procedure! We registered a claim a few months back and continue to be given the run around. Depending on the burden, they need to have paid us more than 1,300 which barely covers the fixes required. We’re shocked to be given a settlement arrangement for just $60.00. We have had a dreadful experience that we would not need anybody of you to undergo. Hopefully, this write up can help you earn a better educated choice. Had we understood all of these, we’d have not hired this kind of unprofessional, poor business or individual. Additionally, the proprietor wasn’t fair with us and claims to be a worker. Look up the organization and do your own research before ever considering them. Best of luck to you!

    GM Van Lines POOR SERVICE

In Dec 2017 we hired GM Van Lines at Pompano Beach, FL to package all of our furniture and our clothes and keep it in storage while our condominium was remodeled. When GM returned everything to our condominium in Jan 2018 our Lucite dining room table has been ruined also ruined was the fitting Lucite side board table. Our 3 piece wall unit/entertainment centre mirrored section has been broken. Those bits cost $800 to be mended. There was a lamp color that had a hole punched in it by packaging it along with a blossom arranged it was only pushed down to the box. Our clothes weren’t wrapped in wardrobe boxes since they forgot the pubs so that they piled them at the wardrobe boxes still on the hangers not even folded, they simply dumped everything into a box such as leather jackets, sports jackets and evening wear that all needing pressed when unpacked. There have been broken glass bits, broken pottery pieces and figurines that are broken. We endured well over $1200.00 value of harm just requesting $800 to pay the significant pieces. We contacted the owner on his mobile phone that he said to send him the bills and they’d look after it. That never occurred. This was clearly one of our worst encounters using a moving storage firm. They advised us that we ought to have obtained our more insurance. We’d ask if they had insurance and they informed us that they did, there wasn’t a mention that we ought to purchase extra.
We requested that they simply look after the bills for the repairs of the furniture that the $800. We’d drop the price of the remaining problems encountered. The two men they delivered to aided unpack couldn’t believe how badly the things were packaged and all of the harm that was done to our furniture. They talked to their supervisor David on the telephone telling him how awful it was. We’ve got images of the clothes thrown in boxes using little boxes piled in addition to images of ruined furniture and figurines.
This provider isn’t honest in their dealings and they don’t appear to have seasoned movers functioning for them.
We only need to frighten you.

    Best of the best

My husband and I were really happy with our recent movement with all GM Van Lines. The team came on time and went right to work. They were rather powerful, capable men who transferred a spa and some rather hefty machines of my husband. They professionally wrapped and taped things, disassembling those things that desired it. The trucks were closely packed into the very best. The following day the team came on schedule and started urinating in 25 degree weather. Boxes were sent to the proper rooms and furniture setup where we requested and carefully moved if we changed our minds. Max immediately fixed a broken cupboard leg. Mr. Gur gave our quote in a really professional way. He had been the only one of the 3 movers we interviewed that gave us a published quote instantly. He gave my husband an veteranes reduction and we felt that the cost was really fair. We’d definitely suggest GM Van Lines.

Best staff. Fast on time. Courteous.

Very best staff. Quick on time. Courteous. My mamma passed. She dwelt in Aventura Florida. Desired to deliver her entire designer furniture and entire house back into Michigan. I got a lot of calls and quotations that I was helpless. Gm Vanlines texted mepersonally. I put up an appt with the proprietor Oded gur to come offer a quote. I phoned Into GM van traces and Michelle put up me Ann appointment free of quote with Oded. He promised me that they would be sure that my experience was fantastic and that he did just that. He supplied me with a binding quote and made certain that the movement was anxiety free from start to finish. Alex, indicate and Jose have been the men that my movers. They worked hard and quick and got everything accomplished in a timely way. I got my furniture now and nothing has been hurt! I can not thank them enough! Professional Moving Service

I have moved three times with GM Van Lines and won’t ever find a different mover. The team Kenny, Kyle, Paul and Frank, literally, packed my whole house and transferred it in record time and despite the warmth, smiled, laughed, joked, and made the experience a fantastic moment. A tough thing to do – as going is always trying. I thank and applaud Loyal Moving. You’re just the very best of the best!

    Long-distance move from Florida
Bad driver and delay in delivery

My items have been transferred from Florida to Missouri 06/30, as at 07/20 I had been begging for my items to be sent.
The motorist was requesting additional cash at shipping.
I Won’t Ever recommend this firm to anybody

    Good Moving Experience!

The movers out of GM Van Lines have been great. As an expert they immediately answered my many questions and needed all of the documentation. The day-of that they had been on-time and also a joy to use. Each of the movers were more friendly, humorous, and quick. They worked hard and completed sooner than previously. They wrapped all of the furniture, and nothing else came broken or damaged. I would strongly recommend this group to anybody.
