If you’re smart and on the lookout for honest and somebody who isn’t deceptive DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I advised my relocation with a large well-known company, that I won’t mention here, however they’re also liars and deceptive. If you’re a mature, single, feminine certainly don’t use this business. I used ton’t move massive parts of furniture in TX concerning conserve on the cost of going….so far because of that. I really don’t know exactly what to say besides DO NOT use this organization and make sure you ask your first scheduled business should they use another organization to proceed you. I couldn’t escape from this since I’d have lost my first deposit. I transferred to and from AZ three occasions and the maximum cost was 2700. I guess that I must have taken one of them, but like most of men and women that are on a strict budget, so I still select the person who had been more affordable. I’ll say that the very first company which I began with is a big well-known mover. I’ve attempted to reach them out but they don’t have any intention of recognizing their deceit. I wish I could have read the reviews before hand. Obviously I did not understand until Mr. Giovanni revealed that a second firm had their hands in my pocket.
When I originally told the very first firm that which I had been moving, among those products was my mattress. I had been billed extra to the headboard and footboard and so they can pay the mattress and boxspring. As soon as I spoke to #1mover I informed them I needed them to treat covering/boxing all of furniture and I’d pack my own boxes. Who in their right mind believes a mattress not to possess a headboard and footboard. My move has been all downhill from that point.
From now on I will use a UHaul Once I move.

DO NOT! DO NOT! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! My parents went through a business to move their possessions 15 hours off and the huge company achieved to Giovanni Van Lines. Long story short they strove to state that my parents owed him $6,000 more bucks than what was initially discussed when this was reserved. My parents refused to cover anymore money and they desired their items from the truck since they had sufficient. Giovanni decided to attempt to eliminate with a truck filled with furniture. My parents obstructed him in and called the authorities. As this is a civil thing that the police could not address the issue and advised him he needed to let them put off their possessions. He was subsequently arrested and taken into a resort along with the truck had been brought back to him by a few of those employees who then helped my parents move. The easy truth that among the employees said that Giovanni was attempting to get over in my parents is really jagged!! I wouldn’t ever suggest this service. I would tell anyone to lease u-haul trucks and employ some guys to perform the task such as my parents did later this fiasco happened.

Terrible! Changed my movement from pounds to cubic feet charging 3000 greater than initially quoted. And yes, they attempted to pull this crap which they needed to charge more for packaging materials. My whole move costed me over 13000 bucks and my lbs were far below what was projected.

I transferred my son in Bryan Tx into Washington State. Giovanni kept me updated and reassured through the procedure. He had been friendly and also simple to contact with any queries I had. He had been honest with me and they did a fantastic job with packaging and managing my sons possessions. They came ahead of schedule and the movers were very professional, super friendly and quite attentive when managing my sons possessions. I really like this organization and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Do yourself a favor and stick far from Giovanni Van lines.

I made my reservation using a broker and Giovanni arrived for pickup on 25-May-2017, as scheduled.

I phoned back on 19-June-2017 exactly the same story repeated but now NICE man went impolite and said I really don’t know his company, and they will send when they could that will be no after then 21 business days from the date I supported shipping address, and that’s 3-July-2017.
Thus far I had been living in resort and this was definitely going out-of-control for me so I called the agent business and they followed-up using Giovanni but got identical response.
Between 19-Jun into 27-June, I phoned agent every alternate day requesting for delivery date and they’d same response, so I advised on 27-June that in the event that you’re planning to perform a delivery through 4-July vacation, notify me at least a day or 2 before so I do not go from town, they agreed and supported with Giovanni and obtained answer that I will be advised while truck is loading from storage.
As I did not receive any call till day of 1-July-2017, I travelled for holiday to NY-NJ.
About 3-July evening about 5 PM I got a call from a motorist [stated he had been in Bronx, NY] who stated he’s coming to deliver on 4-July and confirming speech with me. I explained I wasn’t conscious of his coming and best I could do is return by day 5 PM on 4-July however he said he can not wait and will keep everything in storage that is nearby.
As I had no option, I said OK to him and waited for following day to make calls for agent who achieved to Giovanni and ensured I will find a delivery shortly.
Back from my holiday, I got a call from storage individual on 5-July-2017 and he needed extra $250 to get re-delivery charges.
I clarified that this would be first delivery rather than a shipping but he did not budge, so I called the agent again who promised he will work it out.
6-July and still no updates about delivery.
Giovanni calls me on 7-July and asks me to cover up the re-delivery and meanwhile he’ll check if the exact same could be refunded to me partly.
7-July I receive call from agent and he asks me to phone storage and program a delivery and create them contact my agent for re-delivery charges so that he can make it corrected.
8-July-2017, I eventually get the shipping but EVERYTHING in quite poor state.
ALL cardboard boxes [mainly kitchen utensils, utensils ] were no longer boxes but more like round water-soaked card-board that dried over-time; all of glass utensils were broken, and metal utensils were ruined, spices were all moist and of no use any longer.
ALL suitcases with cloths/shoes were still wet and stinky; a few suitcases had fresh fabrics which we bought before proceeding but today all were stinking and wet.
Sofa, love-seat, Queen-sized box-spring and mattress were still stinky, & moist although those were wrapped in black-plastic covers by Giovanni
Computer seat lost it is wheel, sound-bar & TV box were moist also.
1 card-board box has been open and one interior that was lost.
I shared images with broker and he patched me to Giovanni who requested me to submit a promise to movingclaims and that’s still continuing.

In general, I will NOT recommend them to anybody and was advising all my friends to steer clear of Giovanni.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Brief and filthy is that this really isn’t the very first moving company I have used, but is going to be the first I don’t advise using. Completely unprofessional, reveal minimum respect for your possessions and will do their very best to upward charge you when they get your deposit and also materials from the vehicle. PLUS getting a direct response from them is rather impossible. Furthermore, there’s something disreputable in regards to the owner of the business that made me quite uneasy. 3/22: produced reservation with agent. They had been to select up on 4/8 or even 4/9. Estimated delivery 3-5 times because it had been just a 352 shuttle movement. And a quote of 3 payments of $870 (deposit, pickup and delivery)
4/6: Giovanni Van Lines (GVL) needs to determine if they might get a day early since they would be in my condition. I figured earlier pick up methods sooner delivery, which that I rearranged my program.
4/7: They arrive and so are fine but they abandon boxes, plastic wrap and vacant tape cartons throughout my property. I requested them to depart a TV bracket onto the wall, and they took off it (ripping out sheet stone anchors from the procedure ) and did not replace it. They also knocked down stuff from the door and left on the floor. They abandon the water on after disconnecting my oven. They billed $700 for packing (like blankets, plastic and tape wrap round furniture). But never inquired if these additional fees were okay. They tried to tell me it would be an extra $1600 complete and had me give them a $2000 check for pickup! Once they left they had been to phone with all their truck to finalize my own quote. They predicted with weight afterward told me they would call in 30 seconds using a last price. They never called back.
4/10: ” I called to confirm cost and there is no response. I called the agent and informed them exactly what was happening. They phoned Giovanni and he explained that they had attempted to envision something with me and I’d said I was not accessible, but they had never called mepersonally. He said he would send on 4/14 offer or have a day. And that he would give me 50 percent back to the 300 he billed on packing (he had really billed $700). He says he is from this nation but shipping is going to be among these 3 times.
4/14 day: Still had not learned from GVL. Telephone them and get wrapped up on. Phone again and the line goes into a complete voice mailbox. 4/22: Broker requires Giovanni several occasions, and no response and no call again.
4/24: I notify Broker I am reporting what stolen and eventually Giovanni calls with out appearing at virtually any paperwork. Says he is a spiritual company so that they took week of Passover off. I inform him that is nice, then he should not have reserved movement. Plus I’d called him two days BEFORE PASSOVER. And he did not call back until 1 week following the conclusion of Passover week! He says that he proposed on them transferring my things that the day of pickup to destination. I advise him that was not provided to me. PLUS first move was likely to be launched on weekend until Passover!!! Why did not he ask me when they could send same day once they needed to alter the pickup day beforehand?? Asks how much I owe him, I tell him none, he owes me. Then he says he will send firm check of 300 to get”problems”. I inquire how far my bill was likely to be since I’m pretty certain he owes me more just from over fees at pickup. He says he will phone back prior to 2pm and they will send on 4/27 or even 4/28. I advise him that deal states 4/27 is up-to-date. Then he says it will def be there by then. Subsequently, has the audacity to mention, he has had a long, tough week!!!
I named the agent to inform him what is happening. He states, he will call Gio. GIovanni informs him I shall owe nothing at fall off and that he will have a firm check of $300 because of me personally.
4/27: ” I hear out of motorist which they will send tomorrow. He says that I spend $383. 26 and now I want to get money purchase. I inform him I had been told I do not owe anything. He says okay.
4/28: Notebook shows up and claims that they’ll include a $200 reduction and I will spend $183.26, and they will”send me a $200 check.” Yea, right…. I say call and no agent. Broker requires Giovanni, that states he is, yet more, outside of the nation, but that I could just compose a personal check for $83.26. Now, I am SO fed up. I say good. Afterward, the driver requires to affirm with company (entirely understandable). Business understands nothing about this bargain and states that I want money or money order. So, I must drive to bank to get money, while shifting people wait out my home. Then I’d boxes marked”brittle” not managed with caution, broken knobs onto a dressing table which has been my great grandmothers and they left a heap of crap outside my property.
