Gentle Movers Moving & Storage

BE AWARE OF THESE THIEVES!!! Gave me a”binding estimate” of $4520, billed me a deposit, then date of pickup (knowing I would be out of this nation ), then increased the”binding quote” to nearly $11,000!!!! Be aware that I packaged significantly less than that which I told them I would be Packing, gave them dimensions of furniture and boxes, but somehow their quote moved from 1340 cf to 2200!!!!
They pressured the individual I left at the flat once they picked up furniture to sign papers…I state forced bc he could not get in contact with me (I had been from the nation ) and the flat was expected to be returned to owner. They had him sign a waiver of accountability since they” did not pack the home goods” and another charging over $1000 for packaging the identical house goods they stated they claim not to have packaged on waiver!!!! What is worse they’re now holding my possessions hostage. The”quality management director” Thomas is a real jerk, obviously uneducated, rude, unprofessional and burglar.
This business’s permit was revoked two, they function under various names and places. . .the organization is registered to your private residence in NJ where two 60+ individuals reside. . ,probably not their speech either. The telephone numbers they use are enrolled in Vegas.

My move using Soft Movers has been a NIGHTMARE! They had been always late, destroyed things, held my things to ransom, and didn’t deliver in time. I strongly suggest NOT using them to your own move!

On February 22, 2015, we had three guys out of Gentle Movers arrive at roughly 3:00 pm to start our relocation at  Woburn, MA.  They had me sign a slide for insurance plus he verbally told me (my friend Jackie was there and heard him say it)”should you first here this will guarantee that the property will be covered by us.”  It essentially stated that everything could be guaranteed for $0.60/lb.  They started by taking apart my horses beds that took about 1 hour.  1 guy worked on this while one individual manually (with no 2-wheeler) took down boxes in the next floor at the elevator and a single man stood out.  They’d then vanish for 15-20 minutes at a time.  As soon as they discovered about the free TV next door that they vanished for approximately a half hour that I was being charged for.  I eventually heard them come from the flat and they believed it was amusing and was attempting to determine how they’d match the TV from the truck with all of my things.  They had no difficulty for working for me at all.  At about 5:00 later gradually taking just the women beds and portion of their living space and a couple of items from the attic down to the truck that they chose to order pizza.  They said to me that they would certainly stand out by 7:00 that following the pizza came turned to 8:00.  Meanwhile, my parents kept phoning the proprietor to whine about them moving next door to observe the free TV and their evaporating.  They had been advised that the foreman, Chris, could call them and explain why they had been next door.  After the foreman phoned my mom he explained they had been looking at a TV not seeing it and that he needed to go get the other two guys from the but the fact is that I watched HIM (the foreman,”Chris”) within their appearing in the TV.  He lied to my mom.  He kept telling my mom on the telephone that they were leaving in 15 minutes that turned into 3 months.  In addition, he told me that they”only hired the two guys on Saturday and they hadn’t ever transferred a day in their own lives and he needed to carry on the load.”   Which to me means just 1 man was working because he needed to”fix all of their mistakes.” At length, at 8:00 p.m. they left Woburn following me.  It took me 15 minutes to arrive at, North Billerica, MA 01862.  They eventually came at 9:00 p.m..  They couldn’t back the truck down the driveway since they didn’t understand how to push it, or so the truck needed to stop at the center and was in an incline.  They started the truck and things started falling outside.  A box dropped out and they said”do not worry it is only the pans and pots .”  My father was furious.  He really had to help them moan since they had been so slow and it was getting so late.  My 2 daughters, 5 and 7 were still up and awaiting their toys to arrive and could not sleep until they understood they had been here.  When the furniture began coming out we began seeing the TV rack was split in the joints and dented.  The java table appeared like a puppy chewed off the corners.  My kid’s makeup table that Santa attracted her was totally broken in four pieces (which they tried to mention they took aside and was likely to return together and covered up with a blanket since they introduced it in the house).  Their existence size dollhouse was scraped really nice and the roof was coming away.  Certainly one of my kitchen seats was scraped entirely through the back.  When the men were going a dresser upstairs that they place a dime size hole in my parent’s wall.  Furthermore, if it was not for my buddy pulling her automobile in the driveway at midnight, we would not have understood that they simply left one of those end tables into the living room place out in the snow.  At approximately 11:30 pm they eventually ended just because my dad had been helping him and he had been having them just leave everything at the front hall since he did not’ need any more harm to his residence.  Chris handed my mom a record to sign saying they worked eight hours and it’d cost $1100.00 not including the deposit that I set down for $134.00.  She refused to sign the newspaper and they phoned the owner to go over the purchase price.  He said he would shed two weeks and she still refused understanding just how much they played around and destroyed my furniture.  He eventually left and went into his truck and hauled out until approximately 11:45.  He called my mom on the telephone and said he’d drop it to four hours with two guys.  They shifted the slide to state four hours and 2 guys and my mother signed it.  The following day she saw on her Discover Card she had been billed for the eight hours and three guys ($1100.00).  Additionally, they told me that they must ascertain whether or not the damage is going to likely be insured although they informed me ahead anything that’s damaged will be insured.  In total we estimate the damages to be roughly $1369.00.

We had been offered $174 for 3 movers, 1 hour of dispensing help. They showed up four hours late (at 7 pm), and while you from both (yes just two arrived ) did do a few job – another older, sexier one mainly walked around. We’d done the majority of the heavy things ourselves until they got there because we’re not certain if they’d ever arrive. Next, after a hour, they dropped the cost since they claimed that it was 2.5 hours of service – which the time began from the time that they left their centre (so that they had been charging 1.5 hours of traveling time, which would be absurd – they are situated at Hyde Park, that was really a Chelsea unload, it takes like 15 minutes). After we argued, the elderly man began SHOUTING in the slightest. Then the younger man said call their manager, and seemingly he advised them to get me sign the slide, markers”disputing,” and then we’d work out the fees on Monday, but again, this man was angry because he states he will not get compensated. The individual on the telephone who lent the cost NEVER SAID the clock began in the moment they left. Very unethical firm…

We used them 3 weeks ago to transfer things from the top floor into the cellar to get a renovation.  The men moving our items were so great hard working men.  In the finish the office attempted to bill us $100 over our email quotation.  It took 20 minutes on the telephone and mails the next day to repair the circumstance.  This opportunity to move back the stuff we called again and have been quoted the exact same cost for a hour of effort and also have it in writing.  When we called to validate the date that the next day that the girls on the telephone said their coverage changed and they now must bill us for traveling time to and out of the office that is another $50.  We live a half mile out of the workplace.  They stated but it requires some time in the light and we must heat up our trucks.  It takes 3 minutes to reach our property.  When we requested to talk to a manager we had been told no.  The movers were great the workplace is dishonest and attempts to cheat you out of cash

FURNITURE WRECKERS similar to it. Following a straightforward internal movement, this firm wrecked a showpiece bit of furniture and created a different one unusable.   We didn’t notice till soon after they left, as we foolishly trusted the movers. When we awakened, ahem, Gentle Movers to report the harm the reaction we had was”legitimately, there isn’t anything you can do about it”. After more than a dozen calls and mails over fourteen days and no settlement we are compelled to warn others about using extreme caution in considering using this business. Please warm all of your coworkers, family and friends in addition, the remedy from this firm is definitely the WORST I’ve ever encountered.

This involved driving period of 1.5 hour.  1) The came into our home for a pick up of a piano at a different city.2) Called to assert the invoice to which Avi advised me to”Shut the f*** upward” and then cautioned me about filthy language for stating that”you are trying to screw me on the invoice”.3) needed to ask the driver to leave the home because he knew he’d tried to screw me on the invoice and then started to get aggressive once I informed him I had been phoning the workplace.4) They still ran my credit card without even delivery signatures.We’re disputing the fee and also will push to small claims for certain. These men are prisoners finish of story.DO NOT USE under any situation

Called requesting the title of this Manager about a refund on residue emptiness as well as the secretary wouldn’t give me this advice placed me on hold three days and then hung me up. Her name was Marion and was so really rude. The locaiton is Business Street, Hyde Park.

I hired gentle movers because of my boyfriend & what a nightmare, they were very unprofessional,anything & penalizing but gentle.they broke the side railing of his mattress, they dragged the mattress onto the wet floor & destroyed his sofa as well.they also ripped the display on his front door!! After we contacted the company to let them understand what happened they did not appear to care & did not call us back as they said they would! I will.never utilize them again ever!!!

I missed the entire series like I needed to catch a plane to London. My sister called to inform me in every tiny detail of her movement. Based on her the movers weren’t only tender they”were actually heroes”. I Am Certain That she’s exaggerating but how they, she states, got the $10,000 gothic armoire outside the window as Though they were pulling on the bow across the strings of a violin.   Only this action alone definitely deserves a fantastic review. She had been concerned about that 1 piece of furniture over anything. I have to say if everyone can get my sister happy, they could make any person happy – that I know quite well. Three cheers into”gentle personalities” who rescued my sister (and me since I had been the Person Who urged them for her in the very first location )
