    DO NOT USE THESE THIEVES

    Galaxy moving is the most unprofessional, thieving firm. I hired them in April 2016 I had been quoted $1400. Once they packed the truck I had been given a bill for $3900. The idiots dropped a window air unit outside the 2nd floor window which landed onto a central air unit. Obviously both were seriously damaged. I had been told my things will arrive on a certain day, we will naturally they whined 9 days after it came. 1 man was using the truck. He was presumed to unload the whole truck himself!!! My husband needed to help. I’ve ruined furniture and not to mention that the two ruined AC units in the aged house.I had been told I needed to go through a 3rd party to submit a claim. This business is named CSI. Later months ofor back a day on eventually CSI me there is nothing more they could do bc Galaxy isn’t responding to the promise. I feel that the BBB is in my list to get next!!! DO NOT USE THESE THIEVES!!!

    LIES LIES LIES AND MORE LIES

    I transferred out of West Virginia into Orlando Florida in September of 2015, by the time that I signed the shifting contract it had been nothing but lie after lie. The didn’t appear the day they were scheduled after which the afternoon they did appear, it was just since I threatened to call the Better Business Bureau.
    When they did eventually appear, I’d worked all day packing out everything into the sidewalk near where the truck could park. While indoors ending with the bigger boxes I was moving in the vehicle with mepersonally, the movers loaded all about the truck while the 1 man who had been inside telling me that the men were tagging and counting the boxes. I walk outside side after about 45 minutes to discover the men had loaded the boxes onto the truck since the driver hands me a test list saying that I had twice as much distance as I was mentioned. Telling me that I still owed an addional 1700.00 bucks. I clarified that the contract stated I was to not sign anything when the driver loads the truck before supplying the test record. The driver explained that the stuff had been about the truck and that they weren’t unloading it and I would need to bargain with dispatch about the dispute. At that point he explained I would need to sign the paperwork to allow him to maintain my things in a warehouse. I chose to ask the driver regarding the moving insurance where his reply was, (you already have 10.000 dollars worth of insurance). So so, I wasn’t permitted to even take out an extra insurance in my antiques and unreplacable products.
    Upon delivery, a quote of over 3000.00 dollars of things have been stolen, destroyed or lost. Galaxy provided me 85.00 for all those products. I contested the claim and was afterwards provided 385.00. After battling for more than a year, and still holding the damaged things in my cupboard, I said anything send me the test. I had been told I’d have the payment in 45 days.It has now been almost 80 days and still no payment. I had been contacted by a law firm Who’s representing 5 additional customers who’ve had the Exact Same thing occur with Galaxy Moving Systems Inc
    My advice to anyone trying to proceed, DO NOT Proceed through United Moving Systems, they contract out to Galaxy Moving Systems Inc.. And don’t even thing about enabling Galaxy Moving systems Inc to get whatever you appreciate.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

    They initially came a day early – offering to help me package for no excess price. In my quote, my price doubled and they’d all of my things hostage in their truck before I found out that they would not even offer me the initial 10% reduction I had been given on my quote or the tape and boxes for free like guaranteed due to their early birth.

    I had been guaranteed delivery to get a day after and of course that they had been 4 days late, never answering my calls or giving me a call to let me know they would be late. They promised to repay that the 10%, but never did. They ruined lots of my boxes and furniture, they destroyed my great grandma’s sewing machine and desk – guaranteed to pay in total for fixes and never did. It has been weeks and that they refuse to cover the claim to my things and will not pick up the telephone, respond to messages, or respond to texts.

    I will not recommend this movers for anyone

    I won’t suggest Galaxy movers for anybody.
    I gave the comprehensive collection of things to be transferred and they gave a quote of $1500. I requested multiple times along with the sales man said that the true cost won’t exceed that sum.

    After the truck man arrived for pickup he said it’ll be 3800 after loading the things in the vehicle. I didn’t have any other choice at the stage to back out. The truck man say we compute the complete cubic foot at the vehicle blah blah blah and we wont put any things over your boxes and things.

    I had been there when the truck arrived for shipping, the boxes and things were squeezed and thicker items were at the top of those.

    They are only cheating with low estimate to receive our enterprise and then demand a greater amount once we do not have an alternative. I’ll never ever use this inspector again.

    Terrible

    Only look my summary up on Angie’s listing. I’d suggest if you don’t use them be sure that you don’t allow them in one woman’s house alone and the motorist is a sales man and attempts to get one to include more sq. ft. into this purchase by saying do not let my manager know I am giving you these boxes. Sincerely, Nadine Vaughn

    Horrible Company

    Don’t wander away from the business RUN!!!!! They showed up with a truck far too little to match our items and with the exception of a single man a lot of amateurs. The end result of this team indicated that we simply leave half of the possessions behind. The movers urinated into a bottle and threw it in my neighbors yard then you got ill and did it directly to the walkway from the residence. They were designed to appear with a different truck but did not so my spouse, neighbor and I even needed to rent a truck on Memorial day load it and then push from PA to NC. This also included an additional $1500 for the price of my transfer that is not at all the price in my critique.

    They did reunite 4 days before select 5 staying things such as a spa. They sent to my house however, denied to move the spa beyond the driveway. They stated they did not understand how and simply abandoned. We called two neighborhood professionals at NC who had it proceeded from 10 minutes. Galaxy assured in writing they’d reimburse me but never did.
    Several those things were ruined and 4 were beyond repair. My only recourse is always to make sure that they have some investment in legal fees defending themselves in court.
    They do a fantastic job of promoting BS and sadly I fell for this. I wouldn’t allow Galaxy Moving clean my own garage.

    THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL!

    **** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ****

    To enlarge on what others have stated. THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL, HORRIBLE AND EVIL!!! Gerry Butler was outside first point of contact and seemed really nice and dependable. He supplied a quotation that appeared straight forward and true. He explained he could provide a fantastic price since they had offices in both towns.

    Then comes select up day. We had been going my girl, 3 guys arrived at her flat. After the lead delivery guy got her alone in the flat he jumped to MAKE SEXUAL ADVANCES toward her, then attempting to kiss her one of other things. Luckily her brother was there, so that she made him to remain with her. I would like to think what could have happened if he had not been there. Next AFTER LOADING EVERYTHING ON THE TRUCK exactly the exact same guy that made sexual advances to her sooner proceeded to inform her it was likely to COST HER TWICE AS MUCH.

    I contacted Gerry Butler, that naturally was really pleasant, apologetic and assured me they’d quickly manage things. However, proposed I start a ticket with their customer support and gave me the exact email address. I left a voicemail and sent an email. After having a week I left another voicemail and sent yet another email. Nicole Arrington eventually called me backagain. She took all of my advice, and like Gerry so apologetic and sympathizing. She explained she was fairly certain the man that left the sexual advances was gone since she had been conscious of a similar episode and knows that man had been let go. She promised me she’d find the info and I want to know why we had been over charged. 10 days after we receive a call out of a delivery man to program delivery and alerting us we owed the extra money.

    I phoned Gerry Butler and Nicole Arrington and left voicemails. Nicole Arrington phoned me back and informed me that the price was more because our transfer was bigger than expected. This movement consisted of basically a queen bedroom set, 8 medium size boxes plus a hallway Balcony. THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH ITEMS IN THIS MOVE to warrant their quotation being away by DOUBLE! .

    The single thing Nicole Arrington has provided is a reduction of $150. If they’ve already been UNWILLING TO DO ANYTHING concerning the sexual advances or the horrible discrepancy using the quotation.

    Worst Moving Experience Ever!

    I don’t write reviews, however Galaxy Moving Systems is so unbelievably poor that I feel as if I must share my expertise to stop others from also being scammed by these.

    Our movement was really small with only a couple of furniture pieces and boxes which we had been sending to my own brother out of Boston to assist him put up home after going through a divorce. Gerry in Galaxy lowballed the quote to receive our company and afterward his thugs charged nearly twice the cost once the 19 bits were about the vehicle. Our inventory did not change by one box from which had been quoted, however their cost sure did after you don’t have any choice except to take their conditions or begin looking for a mover. The movers showed up eight hours late, which makes a variety of excuses regarding truck problems that completely prejudiced with all the reasons people were being told by Gerry in Galaxy on the telephone. They refused to rear their truck to the drive and then charged us to their”additional measures” to load up the vehicle.

    Gerry explained that excursions from Boston into Indy were being quoted at 7-10 days, however that they were really averaging 5-7 days. . .ha! They picked up on 4/21/16 and it came on 5/11/16, three months later.

    The worst aspect of the entire encounter was that they somehow managed to eliminate a huge wardrobe box which included the cushions into the couch and the doorways into the classic hutch I refinished to my own brother, which makes them essentially useless. We just had 19 bits for this movement and they could not even figure out how to find all of them for their destination. They handed us the runaround for months, faking the ship could magically be about the truck after it returned, but naturally it was not. We offered to search through the warehouse ourselves, to phone their other customers who’d moves during precisely the exact same period as ours and even provided a cash wages to the worker who might get the box, but nothing else worked. They have been unapologetic, presumed no responsibility to their error and did not even demonstrate a simple level of customer support by attempting the approaches we had been ready to do, such as calling different customers to determine whether the box has been sent to them by error. We registered a claim as we all had been advised to perform, however, the broker said that it is going to take no less than 120 days to process and we hope that there’ll be fresh loopholes for Galaxy therefore we’ll wind up paying even more because of their incompetence.

    Save yourself the sleepless nights and employ a professional plumber instead of Galaxy Moving Systems.

    Con artists

    These men may tell you anything to get a sale. They talk to you like they’re taking the very best care of you and you’re blessed to possess them.
    They picked up my things at nearly 11 pm… Yes the middle of the evening. I might have missed this when it was not only the beginning of several issues. My things were delivered 3 weeks later then scheduled. With less than 12 hours notice . I had been advised that there were sudden flaws and my stuff had been on the street for more than a week. I had been given delivery date after delivery date. When I finally got my furniture , the driver explained that they’d only left the two days earlier! I had been lied to fourteen days! When I called to find advice every time I had difficulty getting ahold of anybody, telephone lines down, after business hours ETC. When I brought up that they showed up so late, I had been advised” any other firm could have only rescheduled or might have cost you twice as far .”
    Bottom line: find an alternate corporation.

    WORST COMPANY ON THE PLANET

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I used them because of our transfer and they loaded my family products, left & then called and explained that the burden was more and that I needed to pay them an extra $2000 to receive my things back! They take your things and refuse to give it back if you don’t pay them more cash. Please remain far away from the organization. I’m now involved in an FMCSA situation against them for what they did to me and my loved ones.

    The organization does have active and considerate (at least superficially) workers – however, they seem to have trouble getting back to you after things fail even after assuring that they will. (telephone or email )

    Estimate was twice without things was added – items have been loaded differently over the vehicle than in the stationary distance storage that they had been in so taking up twice the distance (company ought to know by now that this is actually the case and quote and/or notify client suitably!!!) ;
    Furthermore, it did not help which things were counted quite differently than initially estimated;
    Delivery quote has been off by over a week;
    Claimed to not be a broker however had an third party movement my furniture;
    Things were filled and re-loaded multiple occasions (good, but maybe not hauled in the start );
    Not a great deal of communicating with the real movers when hauling – I still do not know the title of this business that really moved the things even when they were specialist;
    Problems with payment with credit card – not told customer will be billed 8% of total price when the CC was employed another time! ;
    Difficulty finding the Enterprise to supply concrete actions post delivery;
    Some damages to things transferred;
    Some missing things.
    The real movers did attempt to be adapting and seemed to be cautious.

    FABULOUS

    I am presently getting my products. My sister and I’ve relocated to be closer to our family, therefore I have a complete house that’s on inspection responsibility.

    My boxes appear nice, what we’re opening up is nice, I won’t submit this before my items are totally off the vehicle. I need to say the workplace is extremely nice friendly and educated staff. I had been told it’s family run, so perhaps that’s the reason why they have all the correct answers, as they are constantly on the perfect page. LOL
    I’m extremely happy with their work ethic.
    In the event you want movers that these are the people!
