1st they utilizes uninsured day labors. They never arrive with sufficient packing materials, along with the leased U HAUL van they used was too little for the transfer. They refuse to offer additional insurance to pay for the transfer and they transfer your things a few times to various vans. The movers were also throwing sticks from this van.ied Half of the belonging were ruined.

They dropped a bit of furniture, so they broke things, storage isn’t climate controlled, so they do not answer the phones, they do not return calls, but they are overdue by DAYS. I filed a claim for more than 1000 plus they provided less than 100. Horrible thieving lowlife using higher worker turnover! They pretend they don’t talk English, or you’ve got the incorrect amount, or they are a new worker! They’re incompetent burglars!

I do not typically write reviews and that I have the impression that the only time people don’t write testimonials is to whine, so that they could simply be removed with a grain of salt. But as I do read testimonials and now there are the ones which do occasionally influence my decision to work with a specific business, I believed it was essential to write a review to remind everyone and anybody out there to NOT use this business…

This firm moved my mum’s possessions after she became sick and that I was shifting her to FL. My mum’s possessions were sent into a storage device. I instantly noticed a thing of extreme importance was lost. I promptly called the company to allow them to know. They advised me that they did possess this product and they’d send it to me personally. Approximately two months after the first delivery I still hadn’t learned from them. I phoned again and they said they had been sending this thing to my house along with a driver could get me. A motorist contacted me at the day on10/31 and explained that I had to meet him in another city approximately half an hour from my residence. I advised the driver that he had to send it to my house because it was the arrangement. He said he’d call me backagain. He didn’t. I phoned G&M that the following day and they said they’d check in the situation. I always called and calls weren’t returned or I kept getting the run around when I managed to get in contact with them (continuous”I’ll start looking to it and then call back”( which they did not ). Eventually a guy from G&M stated he’d have the item sent to me via fed ex. Fourteen days of waiting I received nothing and started the procedure for calling the business at least once every week again. Ultimately, the guy that I spoke with admitted that the motorist that was supposed to provide this product is not working for your organization and they can not reach him. Apparently he still gets the merchandise. G&M does not understand where it moved. There are a lot of holes in their own stories and I cannot possibly relay the number of unique explanations I’ve heard out of G&M. G&M has been fully unprofessional through this procedure by not returning calls (in spite of the fact that their documenting states they’ll return with you within two hours), through lies and during efforts to stall this procedure. While submitting a complaint now I read a criticism can only be submitted within nine weeks. Happily I’m still inside that window. I actually only wanted the image back, however it’s clear G&M has dropped it and until now (6 weeks later) did not need to confess it. Now I must find out a financial value for this particular product, a thing that actually can not be given a financial price or ever be substituted.

Nothing is ever guaranteed and mistakes don’t occur, but the way you try to fix the problem and just how honest you’re during that process can make all of the difference. Pick your next plumber sensibly.

I signed up a binding quote together with Liberty Bell Transferring Group who contracted G&M Transferring as their broker to send my household products from OH to CA for $4000, using a predetermined $170 monthly cost for interim storage. 2months after, they called saying that our yearly storage price could be $370 because of a greater quantity of merchandise (+400cf) – despite that being contrary to the 49 CFR 375.401 code that specifies that a binding quote fixes the complete cost. They said that they issued a revised quote with a greater volume or weight, but were not able/willing to ship me this.
For this very day, I’ve still never noticed this revised quote. As I researched and immediately discovered a record of fraudulence for your agent Liberty Bell Transferring Group, my waning confidence in them fell to zero so that I asked them to send my merchandise instantly, which required a week simply to make them agree to perform. 3 months after, my home products arrived with 75 percent of furniture and art ruined. And my final charge for transport was 1400 greater than the initial quote too – supposedly due to the greater weight or quantity than initially estimated, but that I won’t ever understand as I still have never noticed that revision. Upon closing shipping, my merchandise quantified 700 cf (vs. 671cf from the first quote ). However, what choice did I have but to cover or have them maintain my products? Plus they take only money or USPS money purchase at shipping (another red flag of fraud) – that they Wouldn’t even take that the US Bank cashier’s checks That I paid for, and compelled me to run into the post office in

Please be conscious of this organization and it is unethical business practices. This provider only takes cash and postal money orders as they’re dodging a paper course. Clearly they’re attempting to scam any newspaper route. They estimate one price with worker signature afterward hold your premises hostage with a different sum due at the time of shipping. They cheated a handicapped and educated veteran widow and held her furniture hostage outside and altered amount due using a worker signature. This isn’t a respectable business and please find another moving business. IRS and DOT alongside all the BBB will be reached with this issue. Even after requesting to talk to a manager of the company I had been refused. We all know that this firm could be working from somebody’s garage or outside of the nation.

I moved from New Jersey to Wisconsin. My furniture was just 4 weeks old. The movers had it all loaded on the vehicle from the time that the gentleman had me sign the paperwork. I had been told I had been signing up for the $10,000 of insurance policy. They ruined over $3000 value of my brand-new furniture by handing it like it was crap. They also ruined walls and woodwork in my house when they sent it. The 1 inspector dropped my conclusion table off the dolly breaking up the shelf and denting my hardwood flooring. They also painted a black dining table that they ruined that the paint was still moist when I unwrapped it. They didnt wrap any things in blankets which ended up ruined. Don’t use this moving business since you’ll just get 60 cents a pound to the harm and replacement of your things. They destroyed a lot of furniture that I’m not likely to be completely compensated for today. They do not even care how they manage your possessions because at .60 per pound exactly what exactly are they losing? All the man did once they picked my stuff up had been attempt to locate ways to control me over the quote. I had less substance than anticipated and they billed me $550 within the quote. They are unprofessional and unethical. STAY AWAY If You Would like YOUR STUFF TO GET THERE UNDAMAGED!!!

This firm moved us from PA to SC in December 2018. The only criticism I have about the moving/packing day is that the cost continued getting higher and higher, greater than that which was quoted to us sooner. But we went along and paid exactly what they asked. But upon delivery of the products in SC, a number of my designer bags were lost. 2 Louis Vuittons and one Gucci were one of the costliest. I also had a runner along with a Tory Burch. We do not know whether it was the packers in our PA home or the unpackers in our SC but someone stole them. We’ve filed a claim with movingclaims.com and will see what happens. No way I will recover the money spent on these bags. :-RRB-

The following day, a”representative” predicted, again without visiting some of our things, stated he had been QA and revising their stock, increasing their cost approx $400 more. We’d agreed to dictate their initial support. On Friday afternoon, a half complete, rented Ryder truck showed up, together with 3 guys, two who spoke no English. They quickly recorded and coated our things, put them onto our front yard, breaking our doorway, not having sufficient space for our dispatch, damaging several things, and said they’d arrive at our destination at 3 to 5 times, because we’d not be in the destination before day two.
It had been postponed over 10 days along with also the” subcontractor”, G&M Transferring of Bayonne NJ,”Stefon”, states he did not know where it was, somewhere between NJ and Florida, that did not make sense, because the path failed to involve New Jersey.
He said he didn’t have a clue why”the agent” had granted us a shipping date and also to deal ONLY with him.
I’ll be submitting a complaint with the Federal DOT, ICC and maybe reporting our things stolen, as nobody appears to understand where they’re.

They’re essentially held our products hostage, in their own leisure.

This firm in combination with Moving Forward America was unresponsive, undependable, and only unethical as soon as you get started working together. Not only will they lie to you about pickup and delivery dates but they’ll also request more cash each step along the way. ALL CASH!

We had been advised that the motorist would be coming, on his way, or forthcoming this day for 5 times until they actually came and wanted more money.

Don’t use this business, particularly for long distance moves. I wonder if any favorable testimonials are even real.

I’ve been coping with these people for more than a week. If your moving agent claims that they’re likely to utilize, G & M Moving, RUN! DO NOT take them because the sub contractor!!! They abandoned 1/3 of my home products in the NJ warehouse in my transfer in Burlington, VT to Chattanooga, TN. We are planning in Day #8 and now that I still don’t have the things (and whole sheet of over 55 boxes of merchandise!) . I’ve called, left messages, composed emails and nobody has responded. Terrific small business training! Why they did not cure up their mess and ship my merchandise to a truck the following morning is past my understanding. Furthermore, the agent, Rte 66 Transferring, are equally as awkward and incompetent in resolving the issue and bringing the products. Rte 66 was completely useless! I still don’t possess 1/3 of my family things and it is Day 8 in the first drop daily. RUN!!!!!! Do not conduct business with these people!!

Found them on the internet They phoned me back in ASAP. Knowledgeable staff answered all of my questions and worries. The transfer of the two houses in exactly the identical day couldn’t have gone any better. The prices were fair or lower then most other estimates I obtained The employees were quick, powerful and careful in addition to pro busy to my requirements.  Nothing was broken or scraped and they have been fair guys AWESOME EXPIERENCE!! G&M just finished a transfer of 20 pieces of dining room set from Massachusetts to Ohio.   Michelle contacted me easily to create arrangements and then again to assure me that everything was in order. Mr. James Johnson and his helper wrapped and packed our exceptionally heavy furniture with enormous care. They were a joy to use. Shipping was nearly instant (came 3 hours later we did!) –again with employees who understood what they were doing–I’m not remembering their titles. Nevertheless, they were friendly, considerate, attentive, and even removed the additional cartons and tape.  The relationship/arrangement involving G&M along with also the booking agent, TRUE King was quite uncertain.   TRUE King has been the offender. Folks should know That Should They locate G&M via a booking agent, the over-the-phone quote Isn’t actual (though in my case it happened to be since I was sending significantly less than the minimum).   This was the very first advice Mr. Johnson shared with me.   He was to create the quote then and there, and just afterwards all was done could it be binding – in other words, they could have encountered extra expenses. The Telephone estimate Doesn’t include any packaging materials (I’d need to pay an extra $85 to get a crate ).   Nor does this contain cubic feet (i.e., regardless of what the pounds, cubic feet can not exceed a particular amount). And cubic feet is figured from truck distance not real cubic feet–i.e., if a bit is unstackable, it is more cubic feet.   Anyhow, none of that was explained to me–so today I completely understand that the negative reviews that had left me so nervous.   Luckily these issues did not affect me and that I reiterate that my interaction with every step of these structures, pickup and delivery proved to be exceptionally professional and even enjoyable. The gap between the quotation and the service price has been the trick (at both ends) and the cage charge.

Would recommend anyone having G & M moving.

This is my first time with G&M. Be as specific upfront in terms of everything you need to proceed, how much time it will take and how much you’re moving. For all of us, we did not factor in the opportunity to eliminate this furniture, that was really more than the things we took. I’d recommend them without bookings and use them again.

M and G really showed up and dropped off in my period guaranteed. I understand there was a window, however, they worked hard to satisfy my requirements and im in my new residence.
