Five Star Relocation

They picked up my things around July 18th, 2017. I had been told it could arrive in 7-14 business days. It’s currently September 1st, 2017. I have never been able to make contact with an proprietor because August 18th, 2017. They always came up with explanations as to why my shipping has been postponed, and today I am being dismissed. I’m extremely mad because now not only do they have my furniture, but they also have lots of things of sentimental value I could never substitute. Plus it might now be gone indefinitely. In addition they needed I cover the majority of the cash up front, sadly I wasn’t educated on exactly what a respectable mover will need and that I consented and gave them a cashiers check. Please don’t make the identical mistake that I did, don’t select this corporation!

After agreeing with Budget (according to great reviews), the company that they picked for us was Five Star Relocation (Bergen, NJ). After being late picking up our possessions (and sending too little of a truck so that they needed to return – a WEEK after to receive our mattresses after needing to tape them into the exterior of their very first truck), it took them at least two weeks to receive it on a truck headed west. After being told that the truck had been in Oklahoma City (approx halfway), it took them another two weeks to really deliver. This place them two days after their maximum 21 business days let. Additionally, they informed us we’d 1200lbs additional what the quote was (highly unlikely – we don’t have especially heavy furniture, etc) therefore the price we were going to spend them $1300 greater than expected at delivery. Practically brand new furniture was BADLY ruined, boxes were totally smashed – boxes marked”delicate” and”very fragile” including crystal glassware and very good dishes. Even the driver (a subcontractor) told me that he hates performing motions for these men because people always shout at him/don’t hint him due to the terrible support they received.Do not allow Budget Van Lines contract your own transfer to Five Star Relocation!

I filed a claim for missing and damaged things including images of compensation on 8-11-2011. So far and following numerous emails and telephone calls, I haven’t received so much as an acknowledgement of my promise along with a yield response. I even contacted the New Jersey Better Business Bureau in hopes that they would have the ability to have some advice. They got the exact same treatment which I obtained. No Response!!! Doing business for this particular business is doing this at your own risk. Just what a fly by night business!!!!

This organization and the workers which we dealt with were totally dreadful, the truck had been so late that we missed leaving to our walk through for our compensation in a different state and this generated our compensation to be pushed back,they had been doing between 1 & 3pm and arrived at 10 pm and left at 6am,there was not enough space on the truck since Juan Rivera told the drivers that he subbed out to that people had significantly less possessions than we really did,that generated us at 4 would wake up a buddy up to deliver more than his pickup to make 6 trips to our other buddies garage for storage until they could send a different truck,which came at 4 pm the following day,we were at a rental house and had to stand out on time and we weren’t,we’d nights reserved in la Quinta and missed our first night there, and like I said generated a debacle for our settlement. Five-star will quote you a not to exceed price binding quote and then they are going to call and say that you spend more income due to the weight being more without really weighing your items or providing you a bill of lading with weights together with the truck empty and complete with your own things,then to make things worse that they take unauthorized money from your acct,following the harm to our items was disgusting,crushed,broken,bent,dent and shattered comes into mind,as soon as they have your items you can not attain them,next they subbed out to a different firm for shipping that they tell you they do not do, liars! We’re told we owe more money then we do and needed to cover it or our items would not be removed the truck,which was at 9 pm, and nothing was put up as promised and both times my husband needed to help to find the task done,you’,d believe for hints they’d gotten this would not have happen!! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this business! Not an expert bone in their bodies!!!! When I had a camera I’d have taken photos,I am really upset with myself that I did not and that I picked this business, I trust that the one good thing which came out of our awful encounter is that we’re able to prevent others from going through this!!! Great luck on anybody hoping to chose a mover it isn’t a simple job!

File a complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration online at nccdb.fmcsa.dot.gov or even 1-888-368-7238. Next review the carrier/broker about the Better Business Bureau in their regional area to tell others of your expertise. You might not receive your merchandise or cash back but you will assist others in making their decision about who to employ. Moving fraud has turned into a heartless industry and have to be stopped.

They shot our dispatch, told me it weighed against 3X what it really weighed, held it for ransom, gave us every day doses of BS and 2 weeks later, because of a gigantic blitz on the part (reports, complaints, telephone calls, attorney BBB etc) we must pick this up a couple of hours out of source. We’re really blessed, others have examined worse stories. From now we got the things, that $1700 binding quote price us $5000, for example, replacement things we had to live, leasing a truck and 3 guys to P/U in a warehouse (8 hour round trip), and hiring a new plumber. Never mind the stress and time we spent trying to discover where our valuables were and sleeping on a blow up mattress for 9 months!

Attempting to get a grasp of the company for as delay and refund of contract. Please not that the amounts recorded here don’t undergo.
