We reserved our relocation with Ted. The day prior to the scheduled pickup, motorist stated they’ll move it on Saturday. My husband moved back from state simply to wait around for it. Saturday, they predicted and it had been transferred to Sunday.

He intentionally lied to us telling us that our movement would be dependent on weight rather than cubic feet. We requested over and over again when it’d be burden and he explained each time we requested. Our quote did not even have an estimate for how much it’d cost per cubic ft. So obviously on going day, a few movers appear and say that they don’t ever operate on weight and also that we’d be billed according to cubic feet (that we especially didn’t need ). After we called customer service to investigate, they advised me that”it is the identical thing” that is obviously ridiculous. We asked for our deposit back because they didn’t provide the support we asked (a movement done by weight) but they naturally denied by lying and saying they did, which they clearly didn’t. I hired this firm to move my furniture and possessions from Illinois to Utah. They arrived to pick my stuff up on Thursday, July 11th. The movers packed up my things carefully and immediately. They came within the assignment window. Everything seemed good thus far. I asked the driver when my possessions would arrive at Utah so that I could be certain that you beat them there and he explained Monday, July 15th. According to this, I left early and came at Utah on Sunday, July 14th.

Surprise, surprise, there wasn’t any telephone on the 22nd. I phoned them again on Tuesday, July 23rd. This time, they advised me it’d be the end of the week. It’s currently Friday, July 26th. I phoned today and today it’ll soon be”a week”. Again, no particular date. Apparently, they could take up to 21 BUSINESS DAYS to provide your items and they don’t need to offer you an ETA.

I don’t have any idea where my furniture is. I guess it could possibly be missing. I really doubt I’ll get my furniture weekly. Do your self a favor and seek the services of a different moving business.

TLDR: Company made me pay $900 within their moving quote. It’s been 15 times and I haven’t got my furniture. I’ve got no ETA as to when it does arrive.

First United aren’t movers, they’re a brokerage business and a complete scam. We had no concept of this when we reserved the transfer. Our first contact has been Matt Adika. We sent him photographs and exact dimensions of the products for a very long distance move in OH into NC. I am not even going to enter the nightmare that has been the people who delivered my items. Our kitchen table never produced it here. This is simply a very, very modest sum of the items which were destroyed or lost by those individuals.
