Signed first contract 6-11-18 by Rep James. James said movement will cost $6983.19. He ensured me that this was maximum cost and last cost could be less. In addition, he said he did not believe a shuttle could be required since prior movement didn’t need you, but when needed it’d be liberated. About 7-18-18 Rep Tommy phoned and said I had a larger truck and also contract has been changed and today cost would be 8224. We compensated FPVL a deposit of $2,887.47.
The day we were advised to get movers begin packing us that they did not appear and FPVL phoned and said they’d be there the next day. This afternoon, 7-22-18, subcontractor came late with much less men than we were suppose to possess and made us sign a new contract under duress stating they wouldn’t package or transfer us unless we signed a fresh contract. We needed to be from our home from the following day along with other businesses we attempted to speak to that day naturally couldn’t envision us for months and we did not have the time to package ourselves and transfer both our automobiles. We had been made to sign a new contract. Sub attempted adding an extra $3000 into the transfer before unloading our belongings, making complete roughly $18,700, which we could negotiate them from after a few hours. We paid $15,221.72.
They also ruined multiple products. They didn’t properly protect or ship our things. Ex: flat screen television wrapped in shifting blanket with cardboard recorded on each side of display. Ex: kitchen things wrapped in transferring blanket and taped rather than boxing with proper bubble wrap.
I delivered FPVL an email similar to contract claims but nobody reacted. When I phoned and asked what else I had to do or who to get in touch with the rep, Kate Collins, stated”call exactly what you desire.” I explained that I’d sent the email and hadn’t got a reply and again asked if there was more I can do, however, she simply responded exactly the same.
They’re a rip off. Do not Use, Do Not Use, Do Not Use. Save yourself the hassle. First Priority stated they’ll take care of my move from start to end, it is their very own people and they are not an agent. I discovered when another firm (USA Movers) picked up my own furniture, First Priority is a broker and the broker that booked my transfer, Paul whined to me once he said I might find a particular shipping date for my own furniture that was why I chose First Priority. USA Movers stated they do not give special delivery dates so I phoned First Priority and guess what, they told me exactly the exact same thing, no particular shipping date just delivery windows. As soon as I informed them that Paul verified a particular date for me, I had been informed, sorry I will need to talk to him about that. No aid, no allow me to see what could be achieved, nothing. I emailed Paul 3 occasions and left 3 additional mobile message, none have been returned. In addition, They reduce ball the cost and then you will find added charges that aren’t clarified like, lift fee, extended haul commission, shuttle charge, etc. each of those added an extra $600 for my transfer. As soon as I called again and inquired regarding those charges, I had been told they’re fairly standard so I inquired why where those shared and contained while the movement had been quoted? Again, sorry and we are going to need to talk to him. When I phoned their customer support ( 5 occasions that have to have been a hint ), they’re considerate but the very first remark is”can it be at the contract”? Recorded here is to see the whole contract very carefully and if this is actually the very first remark from customer support, the business is unethical and does not live up to what they claim. Another thing which must have tipped me off, was you can cover the deposit in a credit card however they need money orders or money following the deposit. I inquired why would it be money or money order and has been told a lot of folks cancel their obligations following the transfer. According to my experience, I find exactly why because you do not get the entire story till they have your own stuff. Eventually , I compensated for the transfer in total, except that the extended transport fee that was assumed to be 100 bucks. After the motorists revealed, they needed an extra $250 stating that it was a lot of measures even though the contract states it is an extra $100 if over 75 ft in the paychecks stage to the doorway. That is at the contract and still didn’t make any huge difference. When I phoned customer support asking to describe the gap and the contract claims $100, I had been told I can not explain it since I am not USA Movers. Needed to make a bargain and pay $150 for a very extended haul fee to receive my things from the motorists.
First Priority Van Lines at Florida. . .brokers outside to Excutive movers at Las Vegas .They never said that this have in writing the cost for deposit pickup and delivery which all changed on the afternoon of Pickup Each Day early without no caution that the cost tripled and it moved from another day guaranteed to around 30 days this can be day 20th they dont answer the telephone or return mails BOTH Firms are a Comprehensive scam liers cheats immoral thieves
I’ve tried every day to find some advice all I got back was a email from First Priority Van Lines threatening me that they did nothing wrong and to not contact them again. Breach of contract both in writing and verbally . I’m handicapped and have sleep on the ground with no blanket not one of my clothing my own apnea machine and drugs because I had been told repeatedly that another day delivery wouldn’t be an issue that I suffer from PTSD and stress illness this has caused much pain and discomfort and psychological stress PLEASE DONT USE EITHER OF THESE CO.they won’t return telephone email they’ll take NO obligation they won’t assist you whatsoever Initial Priority Van took nearly 1600 for performing nothing but create a call and let me lies and Excutive movers we don’t have any idea if o when we’ll get our possessions and cover 1400.00 into 2000.00 more.
I swear to God when their was -0 celebrities, I’d give it to them. Men please read carefully what I am going to write. This business will STEAL your cash. Instead, they STEAL STEAL STEAL I promise to GOD they’ll take your cash. I spoke to them and also got a quote which has been 1490 for its transfer. After the driver came first he was quite UNPROFESSIONAL, and they’ll dash one to sign the paperwork without even providing you the opportunity to READ. That is the way they steal your cash with a good deal of hidden charges. If you call customer support, Jane will speak with you. This [EDIT] is indeed [EDIT] impolite I’d smack the [EDIT] from her when she had been facing me. The quotation that they gave ($1495) was nearly $4000. Well this was my first review and I trust it’ll help you. Should you wan na t receive robbed, go bargain together. They’ll STEAL your cash. Each one of the great reviews are individuals they cover to write it all down. Please don’t expect the 5 celebrities folks set.
PS: You ought to be ashamed of your self. Folks work hard to receive their cash and you also work hard to slip away from them. However, God watchy’all and KARMA is a [EDIT]. Everything you do to folks will return to you.
STOP STOP STOP First Priority Van lineup is a Broker. They are here in order to STEAL your cash .Please read carefully all reviews prior to making any deal together. This is the major mistake I did. Lately I’ve moved from Florida to Texas and it’s been the worst experience I’ve ever had. It is still a nightmare for me. First Priority Van Line isn’t a real moving business it is a broker .They gave me a quotation that was little higher than other firm once I told the same that they just blindly diminished the quote by using n amount of reductions. This really is the way that they capture the fish and that I had been among these. They’ll ask number of transport things out of you and will employ reduced quote to acquire company. From the quote the majority of the part are obscure and does not clarify what it comprises. For me that they gave me a quotation 1601.62 USD to go a single 55″TV,One Dresser, 1 Sofa, 1 queen bed with mattress, 1 Dining table with 4 seat, two coffee tables and 14 L Boxes but finally I wind up paying 5600 USD that’s more than worth of my things. What they did is hired a third party trucker whom they do not have some control .That man came with giant truck that was loaded with different shipments. Those kinds of truck can not enter into flat so that they hired a midsize U-Haul and loaded the thing to that. After loading all things to U-Haul that man start calculating the cost that was nowhere close to 1601, he finished up using a quote 5100. What he did is depended every portion of disassemble things like my single queen mattress it becomes five bits. He included cost for every stair, mine was first floor and he billed 75$ for stair charge. He then added packing price 700$ but we’ve already packed all tiny things into plastic boxes. For packaging mirror they accepted 75$ and 40$ .Neither they advised this cost prior to packaging nor said in quotation. More over they billed shuttle price 500$ for which I’m not in any way accountable since they very well understand it is a flat and these giant truck won’t enter into flat. They gave me all estimates after loading all of my stuff into U-Haul. Now I’ve already paid progress and that I needed to leave the flat very next day, So I could not cancel my dispatch. Actual quote was only an eye wash, It does not include packaging, shuttle or stairs price neither they explicitly cite. I phoned First Priority Vanline’s customer support and explained my situation they advised my quote increased because of variety of things that’s due to counting every single sections of one product. When I requested for Stair and Shuttle price they informed they will reimburse shuttle and stair price which they did not. The majority of the time a new individual will attend your telephone and you need to spell out from start, they’ll inform billing department is assessing it and eventually it won’t go though. The motorist was so impolite and helpless, he did not need to listen to anything that he was simply stringent to his calculation and he said he do not understand what was clarified by First Priority Van line. I’ve then clearly advised do not bring such large truck whilst shipping and I am not going to cover any shuttle price again but they blatantly did exactly the exact same .The driver phoned me at night just before the day of shipping and requested me the following 500$ along with my equilibrium. He gave me only an hour to pick and advised if I would not cover the shuttle price I’ve make my own order to select my stuff out of their truck. I arrived to a new location and I really don’t know anybody here So I did not have any other option than paying a second 500$. So this really is the way that they STEAL your cash. The majority of the time they’ll be in rush so barely you’ll get time to read all files carefully, as soon as you sign them that they will hazard you according to these files.
Please keep away from First Priority Van Lines, Florida…
I wish I could speed them -10
My very first review did not save, so I’ll shorten it because I think everybody else here has said it quite nicely – stay clear away from this firm. They have first rate liars operating their earnings desk, won’t ever set the supervisor at stake, will lie concerning the whole strategy, lock you into a contract, and then spend the line and extend it. In the event the sales person claims that they go by weight, then he’s lying. When he states it’s”white glove”, then he’s lying. When he says that he could get it there by a specific date, he’s lying. When he states that the cost will not change but to return, he’s lying. He’s competitive, fast to deliver you a contract that you register over the telephone, choose his payment (like a broker) and walk off. Once your items are in their truck, you’re stuck. They’re promoting your projects to the cheapest bidder. All these are truckers, maybe not movers. My pickup team came under the effect of marijuana and beer. My delivery group neglected to perform the bare minimum- squirt the things and re-assemble exactly what the pickup staff took aside. They ruined my house, disregarded fundamental communication protocols like telling the truth and living up to the sentence, and tricked me by making me cover greater support than I had used. When I had some recourse to return from them exactly what they obtained from me in relation to anxiety, destroyed vacation plans (household came with no beds or furniture ), and time I have spent on the telephone speaking to their own incompetent and rude folks, I’d take that activity. Rather, I’m leaving this inspection and trusting that only 1 individual later on reads this and decides from carrying this weight.
Never use this company they use my spouse who’s a veteran who suffers from TBI and PTSD, They blatantly set the incorrect dates back on the contract to maintain our products in order that they wouldn’t need to pay any cash following the 60-day shipping window. I’ll give the complete account of what occurred.
They picked up on September the 9th and composed October if they were confronted with that they said to poor for my spouse who suffers from memory difficulties which it was our problem and offered to fall 100$ off the payment cost when they’d need to fall excess of 750$. Even though the payment made by check cleared 9/12/18.
They attempted to use the explanation that we asked them to hold it for 30 days once informed that they had been wrong is as they stated to poor. Not only does this firm make the most of our disabled veterans the booking company from Florida is based on its patrons also when 100% guaranteed that it will be traveling VIA ship they don’t do so they send it thru Canada so don’t allow either company lie to you they also told me it’d cost ruffly 3800$ it more than doubled in price when legally it says it cant go up more than 10%.
My husband was on the telephone a few times with this organization and they never said the date issue before he obtained very outspoken about it. So in short don’t use this company for whatever they’re crooks and must be out of business for deceiving their clients from money and effort.
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! They aren’t even a real moving van business. If they do appear they’ve predicted some fly by night”Agency” using a truck to move your possessions. They’ll provide you a contract cost and then call you a couple of days before your transfer and jack up the price. When questioned they become belligerent and resort to bullying and name calling. They refused to pickup our possessions and retained our deposit. They use different titles but it’s exactly the exact same email address. A whole lot of scam artists! Do NOT call them!
To begin with remember that First Priority Van Lines isn’t a moving firm but a broker house for largely unreliable and unprofessional”movers”. That said, the staff which loaded my home products was from New Jersey and quite attentive and professional till I was advised my $7,900 transfer would currently cost me $18,000. I had no option except to cover since everything I possessed was in their truck to get a 3,000 mile transfer!
My products were delivered on the day promised however that’s the only positive thing to say regarding the delivery. The motorist told me that I owed an additional $3,000 bucks bringing up the total to the $18,000 I said before. Again no option except to pay to get my things delivered. When the truck came the driver said I owed an additional $79.00 and that I refused to go get the following cash order so he backed off on that. He began to empty boxes and he along with his helper refused to set them in the chambers indicated but rather very carelessly tossed them into my garage for me to deal with (crushed and ripped boxes and largely upside down). They then started earning furniture…. Dropped costly dresser and broken leg away, nightstand and cupboard have baseball dimension holes at front, corners broken off seats, they left off screws when building dining room table… the worst part among my tall bar stools along with the seat for my dining room place are overlooking… equally pricey to replace. I strongly suggest finding a real moving company rather than left feeling offended like I’m.
Run as quickly as possible and as far away as possible from this corporation. My spouse is former army, and we have moved a good deal across state and also to many distinct nations and have NEVER dealt with such a lack of respect and courtesy. We had been moving one nation over, and it was a disaster from begin to finish. They did not come when they said they’d, they were difficult to get a grasp of. They promised me that the move for some price that was the sole reason why we used them rather than using PODS and managing it ourselves. But when it was time to send my belongings, they upped the price by tens of thousands of dollars with no caution despite keeping our stuff for a month and with ample time to at least let me know the cost went up. They maintain the stuff hostage. They laughed when I called to complain, and they were simply dreadful. They destroyed several parts of furniture, and many large items were lost. Do not believe them if they discuss submitting a claim, they don’t have any insurance. They’re crooks and shouldn’t be in company. I’d post all of the evidence I’ve (I recorded phone conversations and stored texts together with the motorist and the mails they requested me to send that never got answers ) and photos of the harm that they caused. The only reason I’m not posting some of this is because we’re becoming a lawyer and will be getting our money back and the amount required to replace the numerous things they destroyed. These individuals are awful and covetous.
We contracted two months ahead of First Priority & were quoted $7312.48. We packed all of our own items & transferred from Az. to Mo. 1560 milesper hour We sold our house & if it came time for them to appear, (Oasis Moving & Storage) showed up at a Enterprise lease a truck. It took two days, we were 5 hours late getting from our house for the new owners, and it required two days for them to load. We had been guaranteed that a Van Line would appear on 9/17/18 together with our items. They charged us over $20,000 right at the last moment, this comprised Oasis M&S payment since they would not cover them. When they eventually did arrive, a month late, the contract delivery date was altered, the Van Line motorist had no maintenance for unloading, thank God he hired movers that did maintenance. A number of our matters were damaged or totally destroyed. Due to these THIEVES we’re currently in debt since I used credit cards and asked cables to cover them & I now owe $20k in credit card invoices. We’re retired and don’t have any way to create the money to cover this. I WANT THEM TO GO TO JAIL! OR HOW ABOUT A CLASS ACTION SUIT?
My things came late, ruined, also water-laden. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. They stated that they control by weight, however this has been a lie. Charged 1000$ over initial quotation despite coming from 500lbs below quote. Scam scam scam. Only do it yourself, nobody cares to your stuff just like you’re doing.
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE READY WHOLE REVIEW AND SAVE YOURSELL
I hired them and that they brokered my transfer out to some other business call 1 way van outlines (who dropped a few of my things ).It took three weeks to allow them to Deliver my belongings and the entire time first priority was unhelpful and lied to me. I even spoke to managers as well as whoever owns the business who promised me that a little refund due to the wait but later delivery that they wouldn’t accept my calls I do not care about the payoff I was angry because okay the deficiency of private behaviour from your higher ups within the corporation. IM NOT THE ONLY ONE. In the event you get the better business bureau you’ll come across several clames agains the organization and one manner van traces THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY.
To start with all of the 1 STAR REVIEWS are authentic!!! This IS NOT A MOVING COMPANY! They’re A MOVING BROKER! THEY figure what your move will likely cost by inquiring the number of boxes you believe that will package and just how much furniture you’ve got, then they are going to provide you a low ball price! You join with them without them ever meeting you in person or moving through your house to view your possessions. Two weeks before your transfer they’ll call to verify your box count then jack up the cost! My very first quote was 3289 then it moved 6088! They then agent out the project into some local plumber, in my instance Eden’s Moving Services at Denver,CO., they subsequently told me that the entire price would be 7758! They stated Due to my square footage utilized was over the quote! Eden’s took over 21 times to send damaged items, a few products were dropped and never returned. First Priority did absolutely nothing to assist me with all the mover they delegated!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! YOU Don’t Need TO HIRE A MOVING BROKER! THE Native MOVER WILL ONLY ONLY JACK UP THE PRICE THEN PUT YOUR ITEMS IN STORAGE INDEFINATELY UNTIL A MOVING TRUCK IS HEADED YOUR WAY WITH OTHER PEOPLE’S BELONGINGS. YOUR ITEMS WILL BE LOADED AND UNLOADED MAYBE THREE OR FOUR TIMES! STAY CLEAR OF FIRST PRIORITY MOVERS! SCAM ARTISTS !
We contracted with First Priority Van Lines for a family move in Northern California to southwestern Montana. We advised the movers to emerge between 25 and 27 July 2018. First Priority advised me a motorist, truck along with five employees would arrive in the 27th between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm. We purchased First Priority’s”complete package” that we understand to imply that the employees would package our home products into boxes in addition to load them to the moving van.
A bit before 11:00 am the motorist called us and said they’d arrive at 2:00 pm. We verified with the driver which they would package and fill our home fully. At 3:30 pm we now predicted First Priority and explained that we’d not yet seen anybody. At approximately 5:00 pm two motorists and three employees arrived in our speech.
The person who appeared to be the chief of this team provided explanations and apologies for being late. We again explained that we had been expecting them to package all of the household products and load them from the van. We’d repeatedly verified this using the very first Priority agent. Every moment, the agent assured us that was exactly what could occur. The team that came, after taking a look at each one of the chambers to be packaged stated that it could take approximately half an hour. It was now 5:30 pm.
Among the team members requested to see that our contract. He also called his dispatcher (not First Priority) and following some debate the team said that they wouldn’t load and transfer our household products for the cost contracted with First Priority. They stated that transporting into Montana is extremely costly and they might not do the work for less that $10,000, besides what we’d already paid in deposit into First Priority. We stated we’ve got a contract with First Priority to transfer our products into Montana to get an agreed upon cost. The chief of this team reiterated that his firm wouldn’t do this.
We made to look after other business. We had been gone about one hour. After we returned the vehicle and team were all gone. In 6:55 pm, then a dispatcher in the trucking business in California which has been contracted by First Priority phoned me. She stated that her team was nearby and waiting to begin loading. I informed her that my perception was that my team wasn’t keen to comply by the arrangement I had with First Priority. She attempted to explain that transporting into Montana was quite pricey. I explained that I did not have a deal with my business, I had a contract with First Priority. I anticipated that contract to be maintained. The dispatcher again stated that her firm wouldn’t do the transfer for significantly less than $10,000. I stated I wasn’t curious about that and thanked her for the time.
I phoned First Priority at 7:10 pm and also talked Tru. I advised them that I thought they’ve breached their contract. There was no one in my speech ready to find out our household products and send them into the agreed upon destination to the agreed upon cost. Therefore, I anticipated a refund. Tru took a comprehensive description of these events and guaranteed to get somebody contact me. We’ve had many such claims from First Priority. Ordinarily, we receive no return forecasts. In 9:28 on Saturday morning that I again called First Priority customer service and talked with Jen. I again explained that First Priority had neglected to supply the agreed on tools to package, load and transfer my household products to your agreed upon cost. Given my expertise on Friday, I no longer trusted First Priority and’d already begun moving forward with other strategies to ease the move. Given that First Priority didn’t fulfill their obligation in line with the contract I anticipate my deposit to be returned.
My deposit was not returned. I’ve filed complaints with the Florida Better Business Bureau, the Florida Consumer Relations dept. along with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. If anybody files a class action lawsuit against those crooks, I’m all in.
I can’t give them even a 1 star! Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT seek the services of those movers. They ended up charging me twice up to the quote they gave me. They gave me a morning time that they’d be at my residence. It was after 2:00 pm after they showed up. They finished packing and loading the truck at 11:00 pm. At that moment, my husband and I needed to get on the street from Alabama to Lexington, Kentucky. When creating my arrangements on the telephone, I had been confident that the truck could be an Initial Priority Van Lines truck. They showed up in an Enterprise Rent A Truck. Throughout the day, the truck’s battery died. The movers didn’t understand how to jump it up using jumper cables! My next door neighbor had to come over and jump off it for them! The movers insisted that I meet them in the Lexington place no later than 8:00 am two weeks afterwards. I had been in the place at 8:00 am but NO movers. I waited for 2 hours and eventually called them. They were still sleeping! They then could not find my place! Do not they understand about GPS?? They used my private hand truck and then stole it. They completely lost a box of family photographs. They broke things. As soon as I made a claim for damaged and lost items, they provided a ridiculously (laughable) low reparation. Obviously, I’m disputing. Please don’t have anything to do with those folks!
Called First Amendment about an interstate movement this past year. Spoke to Andrew. He guaranteed us his firm had their own drivers and trucks and also told us that he believed the driver could be for our relocation. They shipped us a quotation. We assessed other regional movers but chose to proceed with FP largely for cost but they also narrative we fed us. Two days ahead of the transfer that they call to say that they lacked how big truck and could”have” to bill us $2k more. It took them two weeks to figure that out???? We settled for $1,700. Day of pickup nobody shows. We telephone FP they state the truck could not get weighed and will probably be there next day. Next day hey appear with a single 28ft truck to get a 4 bedroom home. They ship for a different truck. It is a company Named Safe Load from New Jersey, not First Priority from FL. They package like crap. I discovered empty beer bottle (in my downstairs refrigerator ) in a few of the lower bedrooms, hardwood flooring scratched. Before they load the next truck they inform me that they need $8k longer for another truck. I call First Amendment and they basically let me negotiate with Safe Load. We”negotiate a lower cost but today it has reached the point of exactly what the price would have been around for Mayflower, United or other major Name carriers. They were assumed to induce directly to SC. They set our things in storage for more than two week. They kept delaying delivery as well as also the only delivered half. Took two more weeks to find rest and still short 17-20 boxes. EVERYTHING breakable was. Boxes we packaged were opened and resealed with distinct kind tape. Tried to assert on Safe Load insurance as well as their insurer told me they’d cancelled. Reached out to First Priority and they will not return my calls or emails. Do not believe a word they tell you obtain someone reputable. Proceed to yelp and watch pictures on your own.
