I had a good moving experience with your organization! It’s not simple to ever say a movement was good, but your business definitely did a terrific job and I am so very delighted!
Kudos to KD, Louis and Phil to get working their butts off from the July heat and then pouring rain!
Hopefully I won’t ever go again, but when I really do, Couple Moves is your moving business I’ll reach out to….and I will certainly let anybody know to visit Couple Moves to their shifting needs!
My spouse and I hired Few reluctantly transfer our 5 bedroom home in their storage facility for 3 weeks then move our belongings from storage to our new residence.
My worries began during the move out from our previous home. The team was friendly but slow and there was a substantial amount of standing round (that I named the manager after a few hours of the and he said he would tackle it). At the conclusion they overshot the movement out quote by almost 5 hours. The price different was important in contrast to what I had been quoted because these men are working with the hour. We had been advised that we would compensate for some of the by obtaining a reduction on the storage charges that seemed sensible.
When our new house was prepared , we call to program them to maneuver our things from Few Moves storage centre to our new residence. As they began unloading the car they men, a completely different team than’d loaded up us throughout the movement out, began apologizing for the condition of these products. They’d recorded harm in many things before they loaded up them to the truck. I anticipate some damage through a moving procedure but the damage I found was outside your normal bumps and scrapes. The harm left many things unusable, tables with legs fully broken off, file cabinets smashed in so badly the drawers no longer served , washer and dryer pedestals damaged to the point that they could not hold the washer and drier, and to top it all off the dining room hutch and table had extensive damage all around the sides and borders. They’d obviously been drug throughout the warehouse floor at a certain stage becoming into/or through storage. These were only some of those things, too many others to list. The dining table and hutch set alone was over $1300 to fix as a result of the extensive damage.
After both trucks were drained we began finds significant bits were still missing (our master bed framework, office seats, an 8 ft seat, and a dining table, 10 glass shelves). It took a few days of these hunting their storage facility to find a number of the things, along with *many* mails and telephones calls and then eventually we physically went to the website in order to observe this cluttered tragedy for ourselves. The glass shelves which were lost, they eventually confessed was broken through storage but had not bothered to inform us since nobody needed to’fess up to it.
Back to the moving day, during the afternoon things that we did not recognize began showing up since they unloaded the truck. A seat which didn’t belong to people, two big carpet rugs, and other misc items. I send back those items and it began painting a very about picture of the provider. It certainly did not give us any confidence in their own ability to safely store and return my things. Who knows what things of mine were sent to somebody else’s dwelling!!??
After a very long day unsatisfactory day, the trucks had been eventually unloaded. I phoned Matt, the General Manager of Couple Moves in Raleigh and clarified my most concerns, I had been told they would make everything right. I simply wanted to sign the bill of lading in order that they could send the group home and we would work through insurance and everything was required to”make it right”.
That is the reason why a discerning home owner like myself buys moving insurance to account for the unforeseen. Even after referrals and research, things happen during a movement right? That would solve all of the issues and following some newspaper work this could be a terrible memory but we would regain the missing things and could be paid for the things which were badly damaged. We only had to record the things broken or missing we had been informed and Matt would submit a claim. This is when the real pleasure from the story began. I’ve a documented email channel, cataloging cell telephone call and voice mail that I left over the upcoming times and WEEKS. After more than a month and a half (yes, you read that right) of all non-responsiveness emails, telephone calls, calling our sales rep which I dealt with initially that Matt eventually got back to me with all the reply which they had not billed me properly initially and might require another one million plus bucks to complete fund the insurance case.
I advised Matt that I had been really disappointed with this reaction given the several problems we had with Couple Of Move. The problems that started all of the way back using a slow move outside, to the tragedy of a storage center, and ultimately the damaged, lost, and additional items we obtained during movement in. I expected a much better company and have not see it. I can not recommend anyone go with Few Moves.
I have tried to follow with Matt many occasions today since our last market over two weeks ago and I have not got any response. Few Moves has gone quiet and I have been left”holding the bag” with a few thousand dollars in damage and missing products. Not the movement I had been expecting rather than the movement I compensated for. I am not seeking to become loaded on the circumstance, I simply need some reimbursement to help cover some of damage due to the tragedy of a movement that has been implemented by Few Moves.
