We’ve never employed a professional moving business before this movement and decided we simply could not make this movement without specialist assistance.
I did my homework and read the testimonials Unfortunately I attempted to judge this business out of not just the testimonials some good some bad but also from the people I had been coping from Empire Moving and Storage directly. They looked so honest and incredibly friendly and helpful. BIG MISTAKE
They didn’t come to do a walk thru of our house or our things just took advice over the telephone and gave us a quotation
I guessed it was likely to cost a bit more than the quotation that was below $2000.00 particularly since we will need to bring a couple more items.
The day of the movement the guys were supposed to get there at 10 am that this didn’t occur. . .They did not arrive until after 3 pm and the truck that they attracted was a rental truck with a paper sign on it which was hand written with Empire Moving and Storage. . The head man said they just had a brief time to load up so we needed to get the contract signed straight away. A great deal of pressure in the head man at work. Knowing we needed to be from this house that day without the exceptions that they really had us at a fix. He proceed to inform me we had a whole lot more things than was quoted as well as the price was likely to be 3 times up to the quotation. Now, we just had three hours to become from their home since the new folks were going in that day, so we ended up paying for the new price.
The contract newspapers were passed to me so quickly that I did not get time to actually read them and the man kept saying that this page states this and this particular page claims that”sign here” Again BIG MISTAKE Among those newspapers had a cost per pound for harm rather than a re imbursement.
The truck was already partially loaded with things from a different move so we just had 3/4 of their truck to use to our belongings. We were informed we’d have a complete truck.
The loaders were placing things on the truck as I was signing the paper work so that I did not have the time to tell them exactly what shouldn’t be loaded and they loaded items I did not need about the truck. From the time that I understood had loaded a few things I did not need on the truck it had been too late to catch off them. Hence this added into the overall items loaded.
We had been advised our stuff would require a week to ten days for delivered to Florida. That didn’t happen either It had been more than 2 weeks and I called to discover where our stuff was. It required a great deal of calls to get in contact with anybody that would even help me. I then had been told that our stuff was still in their warehouse at Denver. They hadn’t told us that they’d be removing our belongings in the truck and holding it at a warehouse. Then they said they needed to await a truck to get there from California to pick our stuff up to deliver it on to Florida. I had been as you can envision quite upset… I advised the supervisor that when my things did not arrive within the following week I had been planning to call the BBB and also a lawyer Funny the things came within the next 6 weeks.
The fun started. There was so much harm to our things that I can not even start to list everything. The estimate cost of this damage was $1900.00.
Upon informing Empire of the they stated they’d need to start looking to it and after a very lengthy and hard struggle we ended up with a grand sum of $147.00 for its harm since they utilized the cost per pound as their scapegoat.
Quite Valuable Lesson Learned….As much because you would like to have faith in people and businesses you can not trust anybody nowadays and should the firm as ANY bad testimonials BELIEVE the critique do not offer any benefit of the doubt. I’d read some very good reviews and just watched two bad reviews and figured a few folks might have been more crucial than others
My advice will be to STEER CLEAR OF EMPIRE MOVING AND STORAGE. They aren’t a company which you can trust.
This firm was a complete let down. We have quoted at close to $3000, on going day later all was done and said it came to over $4500 the sales man who dealt with my husband had been impolite and promised that we hadn’t informed the individual who kissed us of everything we had. More than 90 percent of our things were jammed by us, along with my husband completely revealed what we had in our home. We had no option except to cover to be able to continue with the transfer. The 2 guys who proceeded us were quite fine, but after they gathered our things we had no contact with anybody. Our products were”missing” for nearly two weeks. A number of efforts to get empire and”Jon Allen” to be able to find an ETA on if our objects will be sent to us led in silence. Emails if reacted to stated that they could”check on it”. Nobody ever got back to us now. Eventually on Thanksgiving day somebody called and stated that our furniture will be delivered the following day. They set up a period between 10AM and 1PM. Our items didn’t arrive until near 4PM. Numerous things were damaged like a mattress that is completely in-repairable, a brand-new TV, and many things that cant be substituted. Boxes which were tagged delicate were upside down and if flipped right side up, you might notice that the products were broken. Virtually all of our principal furniture needed scratches or components missing, and so were piled on each other with out any kind of blankets or wrapping to reduce harm. After all of this was done and said I contacted the company so as to commence a claim. I faxed and emailed and filled out all kinds necessary and that I had been told that my entire advice will be transmitted to their promises department. After a few months of silence and efforts at obtaining a response Jon Allen explained that he’d look to it. Again….silence. Eventually after several emails and calls I contacted the operator and eventually got a telephone number to CSI who seemingly claims undergo. I contacted them and they had no claim under my title or transfer number. I needed to begin a brand-new claim. What might have been settled quickly and painlessly has now taken nearly 3 months simply to initiate a brand-new claim. I am beyond angry at the lack of communication and in-professionalism I have obtained from this organization. My son remains with out a mattress, and we’re out a brand-new TV- and of course that our furniture which has been rather new, now seems like its been through the ringer.

If you hire a professional moving company that you anticipate, professionals. Deposit created 9/16/2016 of $1,650.
Pick up date10/01/2016
Truck with 4 guys who employed a Budget rental truck to pick up these products. The driver indicated the items would arrive 10/8/2016. After the products were picked up, communicating was very little regarding the condition of the household things.
On 10/04/2016, the business stated they needed full payment but did not have an ETA. I stated I would not pay any more until I had an ETA.
On 10/17/2016, many attempts made to Allen by mobile phone, email, and voicemail although no communication regarding where my family things were.
Afterward, 10/25/2016, an email was sent requesting the rest of the payment. After attempting to call Allen, he eventually signaled to me that my stuff was in route. The motorist should be phoning. I just heard from the driver once I left the last payment to which he gave 12 hours notice.
Afterward , I come to find out that Empire hired arbitrary individuals from a Craigslist ad and arbitrary men just showed up in my residence. This really freaked me out that unprofessional, unchecked random dudes were hired to examine all of my things and maintain my residence. It felt just like a seedy drug deal with money being traded and arbitrary moving clinics in the rear of a semi-truck.
You will find several damaged items like a bookcase, box spring, and timber furniture with scratches so big that the piece was completely ruined. Especially, a wood dining table within my family for a long time. Additionally, the way that they handled the stuff from the semi-truck was totally dreadful. They pulled on bicycles as though they were only branches out of a tree. These bikes are Trek bicycles rather than affordable.
They can care less and provided no chance for reimbursing of those things. Total charge was $6,780. They even added $80 on the place for measures, irrespective of the ruined furniture.
I expect far more from a professional moving company.
What a nightmare. The movers were very unprofessional and unprofessional (just a couple of things wrapped suitably ). We obtained our stuff fourteen days later guaranteed. Our resources (chain found, multiple luggage with hand gear ) vanished. Couch and tables scraped. Shelving unit along with a dresser entirely ruined. It’s been two months since we registered our promise to get the crappy $0.60/pound insurance they provide. Have yet to receive a reply and nobody is answering our requirements. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Other favorable reviews likely in their own workers.
I Got an Online quote online from Jacob Reed in Empire Moving and Storage. I requested to get an in-home binding quote and Empire Moving and Storage delivered a worker to our house to take a list and offer a binding moving quote. The binding quotation to move our merchandise in Renton, Washington to Alexandria, Virginia arrived at $4624.60. We signed up the contract and have been provided a date to select up products and a verbal quote of 2 weeks in transit to Virginia. The movers showed up late in the afternoon on August 24th, up our back movement date. Immediately upon coming, the plumber, the exact same person who came into our home and failed an in-home stock, accused us of incorporating merchandise to the dispatch and jacked up the quotation an extra $1600. Obviously, he did not even have the contract with him and needed to ask me to pull up the contract within my personal computer and then send it on him. Nevertheless he understood I’d over that he quoted, with no contract. We had not included any things, and had obtained 5 heaps of merchandise to the Goodwill because the in-home estimate. I advised him that one of the two things was happening here, possibly he had been really poor at estimating or else they had been performing just a classic bait and switch. I wouldn’t signal the higher cost and they chose to load our furniture and products anyhow. He said we’d find a phone in the afternoon to provide an approximate date for shipping in Virginia. We never received a telephone and made many attempts to talk with somebody who may tell us the improvement of our relocation. Eventually on 9/11, afternoon 18 because picking up our products, I had been advised by Shaul, their manager in Denver, which the truck hadn’t even left Washington, which they had been thinking it’d depart from Wednesday, 9/13. I phoned again on 9/13 and has been advised that the cargo was in transit and could arrive at their Denver center on Saturday, and then combine a dispatch into the East Coast. Now is 9/18, day 25 because our products have been picked up in Washington, also Shaul claims that they can not get into the driver and don’t understand where our material is. I’m suspicious today I could possibly find my furniture and household products and’m contacting the insurer for your transfer.
My spouse and I are teachers. We proceeded to Germany two decades ago to educate abroad, and while we sold the majority of our items, we retained a tiny bit of things which we held dear (household heirlooms and items like this ). Upon our return, we chose to move to Oregon, but we had to receive our items from Colorado that we had stored in storage. We predicted several moving companies, and in the long run we picked Empire Moving and Storage. They advised us that they had been locally owned and trust worthy.
On the afternoon of this transfer, we were advised that the movers would arrive between 9 and 10. They really showed up at 1:30 (however, yeah I know, that is a frequent thing). My husband and I had been prepared for them. We had bought 300 cubic feet of space in their own truck (The guy who reserved it advised us that they would rather itemize it and understand just what’s being loaded, but because we had not seen it in years we told him why we weren’t certain, and he promised us that so long as it fit in the distance, everything will be fine ) and we had previously and quantified the distance in my in-laws garage. We knew everything will match. We waited, and when they came, they filled half of our items. They then informed us that the remainder would not match, and that because the tiny pieces of furniture weren’t all itemized, they could not take them without charging us more cash. We refused, and so were abandoned in a standstill for more than a hour while we attempted to get ahold of a manager, when they did eventually reach somebody, they admitted that they made a mistake, and they fulfilled all of our items.
1 week after the shipping driver tried to make a delivery in my parent’s place in Oregon where we will continue to keep our items until we move in to our house next month. My parents just moved here too, and they hadn’t had troubles with their movers sending their products, driving up the street and to the drive (they live on a dirt street (see the image below)). Our drivers came and parked in the end of my parent’s street. They walked into the driveway and advised us that they could not pull in there. We were amazed, but advised them that they could float in the close of the driveway and that we’d move everything the rest of the way. They then moved into their truck and told me that that they could not make it up the mountain into my parent’s home (mind you: not only did my parent’s driver made up it, but many semi trucks do it daily ). They said we can either meet them in the end of the street (1/4 of a mile off in the driveway), or they’d charge us longer to find a bigger truck to get it down the street.
Now, I phoned their office at Colorado and talked with a manager. The first boss I spoke with assured me that his group delivered photos, they could not make it up the mountain, and I had ten minutes to cover them until they left, took my items, and locked it up in Washington where I would need to go pick this up when I desired it. I phoned my husband, who had been waiting in the end of the street with all the drivers, and advised him to cover them. He did. They took the cash and drove off. At the mean time, I had been told that another boss would be phoning me. He did, and he treated me horribly (I have a recording of this dialogue should you require it). At one stage he explained that if we had paid more, they might have sent it all of the way. At some time, once I told him that I would call the police to let them know that the movers had taken our money and our items, he advised me to go right ahead and telephone. He explained they could lawfully hold our items for 2 weeks. He talked over me, and did not appear to care for what I had already gone through using their business (I’d request a partial refund following each of the crazy things that had occurred and since we were now going to get to find all of our items from the close of the street ). After talking with him and getting nowhere, I went on to meet my husband in the end of the street, and was happy when the truck returned.
The boxes in the vehicle weren’t piled well. We had several broken things, some that weren’t replaceable like a seat that came from my husband’s grandma. We got it into my parent’s home following the truck has been long gone, and today we are going through our items, including up the broken things (more pictures under, and much more of the harm if you want them).
That is where we stand at this time. Hopefully you’re able to share and explore this issue so that others aren’t subject to the exact same treatment (however, locate the pics of a review under that reveals others have sadly had similar things happen).
We needed to maneuver in a hurry because of professional responsibilities from Minneapolis, MN to Hartford, CT.. Regardless of the poor reviews this firm had that I dismissed as one-offs along with also the limited time I had I reserved Empire moving as a result of minimal price that had been quoted. MY BAD MISTAKE!
Everything sounded fine with the transfer co-ordinator Mark Chase till they obtained the initial payment for approximately $518.34. Following this everything was downhill. We had our flights booked on 28th Sep and had obviously asked for a 27th Sep transfer. Until the 25th Sep I didn’t obtain any updates concerning the time of this transfer. On following up on 25th I got an upgrade late in the night stating the truck driver could arrive at 9am the following day on a really short note. I had been out of town and had intended to return on the 27th according to our initial move program. Despite asking for another time my request was diminished by Mark Chase. The truck came just at 3:30pm after waiting all day.
The estimates went up in the binding quotation of $2591.70 to $3850 stating I’d added boxes and the couch was quite heavy. We compensated up the equilibrium as we had no other choice at the final minute of our interstate movement.
This was bad enough but my actual nightmare began after we moved into our new flat in Hartford, CT.. The first planned transfer date was Oct 3rd however I didn’t hear back from the business till date (Nov 1st). We’ve lived from the bag for at least a month today. We’ve got a baby who’s 1yr old and parents that are 60+ years old. We’ve been sleeping on the ground presuming that our stuff could arrive shortly. However, I haven’t got any upgrade from the company seeing if my merchandise will be sent, each time that I call up the customer support number someone by title Mara/Vanessa pickup and inform me that a manager is operating on the program. ( its been 30 times since the first planned date and that I have no visibility to where my products are.) I’ve repeatedly asked them to link me to the manager but he appears to be about eternal holiday each time I call. There’s not any one to give me an ETA or return my calls. I phone them up regular but have still not got an ETA. Its been over 40 times because my products were loaded onto a truck I do not even have expect I can see my things ever again. I plan on refurnishing my whole house again and again taking some legal actions against the Business
Please take my counsel never publication from this business despite obtaining low estimates as the quotations will automatically go up following the first installment was made. Certainly that isn’t any customer support and visibility to products that this business has.
I have moved seven days and utilized five different moving companies. Empire Moving and Storage isn’t merely the worst moving company I have undergone, but also, possibly, the worst business of any sort. The comments published by Murali Ramesh are put on.
Before submitting a review, I waited until I obtained my asserts test ($153) for your furniture Empire broke or damaged, for example my grandfather’s classic hat rack, that had been snapped like a toothpick and needed to be thrown off. (I submitted, under, a photograph of a business employee holding the base of the broken hatrack. He wore a T-shirt that read:”I would help but I really don’t wish to,” that must be the firm motto. (I had been, incidentally, reimbursed $6 to get that classic hat rack.)
Altogether, five pieces of furniture have been destroyed or ruined. It is not just that they had been ruined, but the way they had been ruined. A handmade walnut bookshelf, pictured below, appeared like it had been smashed with a sledgehammer. Even among Empire’s movers commented that it seemed like somebody blatantly kicked it.
The business bid $4,000 in my occupation, and charged me almost $8,000. I really don’t know precisely how moving companies compute fees. However, I do know that I supplied precisely the exact same information to two other moving companies that bidding approximately $6,0000, that was $2,000 nearer to the true price than Empire’s bidding. I hired Empire according to its low bid. Tremendous MISTAKE.
In the pick-up, once the movers told me that the cost, I almost told them to unload my belongings and leave. However, the worker talking to me told me I would lose my deposit when I did. Two days afterwards, but another Empire worker explained I wouldn’t have dropped my deposit when I’d advised them to unload the truck and leave.
The worst aspect, however, has been that the customer services. I couldn’t get my moving planner, Allen Kingman, to phone me back, respond to my worries, or offer me updates. The only time that the company got back to me was to inform me if the remainder of the cash was due. My moving planner, and anybody else that I talked to in Empire, seemed indifferent to that which I had been going through. I eventually found out my delivery date once a motorist called me from Dallas and stated he’d be there in 2 weeks, which I was not ready for.
I am a grown person, but on two occasions this provider practically reduced me to tears. That is how disappointed I was, without a recourse. On delivery, among the movers even complained about placing my bed together, until I informed him that the mattress was constructed when they began the job. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.
Called and obtained a bid to transfer my girlfriend out of Colorado into NYC. The rep I talked to was seasoned and also did a fantastic job of quoting me…. I believed. Was quoted $1350.00 full costs. Bad for a cross country move. We packed up everything so all of the movers needed to do was go and load. The movers that showed up were good. They had been loaded and gone in about an hour.
A few days after I got a email from Empire’s shipment section alerting me to this extra cost of $300 to get a”shuttle” as an 18 wheeler couldn’t come in my area. The merchandise had to be hauled in the 18 wheeler and then reloaded on a smaller truck to be sent.
This is my difficulty. The rep that I talked to told me how he used to reside at NYC rising up, dwelt in one of those five boroughs. Would you not feel that he could have understood that a huge truck wouldn’t have the capability to come in my area? Would you not believe he ought to have informed us in the time we hired the business that there will become a”shuttle bill” that would include an extra $300 into the invoice? Would you not feel that a moving firm would instruct their clients about this particularly if sending to NYC? As if they don’t possess Google Maps also couldn’t confirm where my speech is at and in the instant determine that a”shuttle charge” would have to be added to your fees. Oh although the”shuttle charge” is said at the fine print.
As any knowledgeable and nervous customer could do I emailed the company and informed them that I wished to talk to a manager or manager concerning this fee. No reply. I waited for many days before eventually on the afternoon prior to the shipping was likely to be finished that my girlfriend called to ask a manager. The man she talked to was a whole a**hole. Zero openness to listen her or perhaps understand our standpoint. Fundamentally told me that if she didn’t like it we can either pay the extra $300 or never get our possessions and they’d see us in court. After she told me exactly what had happened I promptly jumped to the telephone and asked to talk to the same”gentleman” to that I had been advised that”he’s not in but we’ll have you call him.” Would you think that I never got a call again? Shocking….not actually.
It was not about the money since we were totally fine with paying for the”shuttle charge” and which makes this a smooth fall away however that the unprofessionalism and lack of courtesy by people that are supposedly”leaders” of the organization is alarming. They don’t have any clue what customer service is. As soon as they have your possessions loaded you’re in their asses and they perform it like that. So here is to you Empire Storage and Moving…. You’re the absolute worst company I’ve dealt with in years and I cannot hesitate to allow every social networking platform understand about you personally and your sh*tty set of managers and managers. I won’t ever advise you to anybody and expect that this inspection deters even an additional person from utilizing your services. Thank you for the wonderful service and courtesy that you showed us.
We’ve not used professional movers to get any movement previously. This adventure was our very first. We’d Empire Moving & Storage come outside to provide a visual review of all of our house that would have to be transferred and we obtained a quotation based on this in-person visual review. The visual inspection lasted over one hour. The first quotation we had been awarded was to get $7,638.34. Our understanding was that this was for all in our house. We understood that it was a quote so that I personally budgeted for about 20 percent overage because their sales man explained that they ensured to not move over 10% over their quote.
We had two additional businesses give us quotes and Empire’s quotation was the ideal. Before final decision I predicted to go over our pickup and delivery program. We had a rather tight shipping window according to a private family scheduling dilemma. At that stage, we had been advised that so as to ensure a 3-day window for shipping, we’d require a dedicated truck and that for that amount of support could cost an additional $1,500. That consumed my funding buffer, however, the 3-day shipping window was quite important to us so we consented. Just before signing our arrangement, as I looked through the particulars of the quote we obtained, I detected some things that appeared to be lost from the stock and so I phoned Empire to talk that, as I had been worried that they would bill me even more, over the first quotation, 10% possible overage, and $1,500 dedicated truck for guaranteed delivery. I had been told at the stage, that because we were obtaining a dedicated truck, as long as everything fit on the vehicle, that the pricing would not alter and to not worry. Furthermore, I asked if we will need to get each of the furniture wrapped with furniture blankets or when those were supplied with their support and was advised that they comprised providing all of the blankets for many wood, cloth and metallic furniture and that they would offer both disassembling and re-assembling of all furniture at no extra price.
On Friday afternoon, the movers showed up and asked to perform a first walk through. Upon conclusion of the walk through, we had been advised that this was far more things than they had been ready for and that it would cost us significantly more cash. I explained what I’d been advised by the sales man and that I didn’t expect to cover any more. The individual who was responsible for the onsite transfer called and talked to a people and said that they would have to bill me about twice what they’d originally quoted mepersonally, so I advised them to go right ahead and leave and I’d try and figure out something else. Soon after they left, the sales man called me back to learn what had happened and that I explained what I’d been informed and also explained why I asked the movers to depart. He explained that I should have misunderstood and that there would not be any additional fees apart from about $700-$800 for several extra packing materials, since even though the shifting blankets were comprised each of the tape along with extra cardboard which could be required wasn’t included. I reluctantly consented to have them return with the understanding I was just looking at an extra $700-$800 and since I’d not managed to discover another viable alternative with the very brief period that we now had.
The moving movers and truck returned and started loading the truck. After they’d loaded roughly a quarter of our possessions we were advised that there could really be an extra fee for those items that they had first”unwittingly” not contained in our quote and that we wouldn’t be receiving a dedicated truck. They also maintained that they never promised that a committed truck. Since we had been totally out of time, we really reluctantly consented to allow them finish the move.
Once they had finished packing the trucks and’d left, we started cleaning the vacant home and discovered that there were lots of things that the movers hadn’t taken, but’d concealed the things by sticking them into closets and attic areas. The boxed up the very crucial items which were small enough to send and paid to send them into our new address. On the other bigger things, like a desk and a little Wardrobe Armoire, we had been made to give them to a charity so as to get them from the home. In addition to this, there was really a little harm to the home including big gouges, scratches, and openings in flooring, walls, and also the stairway. We also discovered that a massive number of broken glass from the cellar.
Then, weeks later after the movers showed up in our brand new place, we had been made to invest money and charged with an additional $900 along with what we’d reluctantly consented to, prior to the movers could even begin to drain the truck. Upon the conclusion of the unload, the truck driver explained that they were actually in a rush and didn’t have sufficient time to re-assemble some of their furniture or other things that was disassembled and they abandoned. Our contract clearly says that the movers will disassemble and reassemble each of furniture.
This is where the true troubling issues started to become clear. These movers, had ruined a lot of our possessions. This wasn’t the ordinary scrapes and tiny dents from going (we’ve moved ourselves several times and understand that there is always some little damage that happens ), but significant damage to appliances, furniture, boxes, and much more. We also decided that there were multiple things which were simply lost. The quantity of harm and general discount for our possessions seems to move well beyond minor shifting harm to a degree that I’d regard as gross neglect. When they disassembled things, such as our air hockey table, they simply ripped things apart rather than eliminating screws etc.
Empire’s”moving advisors” are quite useful and friendly, till they receive your deposit. Afterward your nightmare starts. They lie around if they are coming to pick up your own stuff. If they arrive, you find they underbid your occupation to get your company, and make you pay the greater amount or else they leave you stuck with no plumber at the last moment. That greater level will be overstated (in my situation, they overstated my volume from at least 10%). Then you are kept in the dark, together not answering mails or returning telephone calls that you make to learn the status of your shipping. When my items came — two days after my preferred date — I found that Empire was incredibly violent to them. A number of items have clear physical harm instantly. Since I began burning off, I found more harm. It is starting to seem as though they dropped nearly each one of my boxes, a few many occasions and away from great heights. Since my new place can not adapt a big moving van, then I hired nearby movers (at half of the cost Empire needed to bill me) to finish my transfer. The regional men were friendly and capable — the specific opposite of each Empire worker.
All of my items are with this particular business they looked great until they have my own cash but fourteen days after my things are at the coming condition I cannot get a grasp of anybody nor does anybody call me back they’re holding my home goods hostage for any reason upon taking a look at the paperwork it’s incomplete and really uncertain and my shifting quote only about doubled within their defense that I likely had more stuff than I thought but twice?? The firm who brokered this deal will be shore to shore I cant seem to get in touch with them either! Do your self a favor utilize somebody else!
I REPEAT DO NOT USE COAST TO COAST OR OR EMPIRE MOVING UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE SCAMMED
This firm was a tragedy!! I’ll encourage everyone to look around. I had been quoted a cost after a telephone stock, after that when the drivers showed up to fill my possessions (with hardly any notice) the cost was dropped. Simply speaking, it took me over 3 weeks to provide my possessions delivered to my new address. When my stuff came one table was totally broken, other things have sustained damage because of the furniture pads being ripped. After the drivers have left and that I had time to stock my possessions. I’ve discovered that I had been missing a box using designer purses missing. Before the motorist leaving, I asked him about the harm that my possessions had lasted he essentially told me it was not worth the opportunity to submit a claim, since they induce you to correct your belongings is simply worth 60cent each pound. The business lacks communicating with its clients. I needed to call to learn what was happening. If they say they will phone you back, they never follow through.
This firm was professional and did a fantastic job going me. The sole issue has been a scratched dresser. The claims department already sent me my test. So I’m happy. .
I understood when I took my brand new job deal approximately a year ago that going occasionally was at the bundle. So I just finished my very first cross country go from Steamboat Springs CO into San Francisco and I can honesty say, it went perfect due to Empire. The packaging crew was friendly, effective, rather than hurried. They handled our things like their stuff rather than one thing was damaged or broken in our movement. They came when they said they’d both to package and also to provide our stuff in SF. They came just a week after they left. Along with the group that simplifies our substance (up a gigantic number of staircase ) never drowsy or quit. We had a monster of a couch bed we had been attached to and all logic and chances would state that it would not match. They could see in my head how unhappy I was and afterwards taking off the doors – with gentle muscle and determination, they obtained it in. After all that, they chose to inquire how else they might help. I tell everybody about my experience and many are really surprised by how good of an experience I have had since they have had horror stories regarding their movements (not utilizing Empire). I’ll only use them from now on. Thank you Jon, Tony, Guy, Vanessa, Allen, Timmy, Greg, and Orlando. If I forgot anyone I’m sorry!
Initially while I was looking into moving businesses, I discovered several companies that looked insecure, even bonded/insured, they were so cheap that I was not certain how they could possibly provide an excellent support. Being that our tasks were moving us and gave us a generous funding, we chose to go with a nationwide supplier like United, Mayflower or another van lines. Availability proved to be a small problem with a few of these , then, ultimately, I walked into Jon in Empire who promised me that they could match some significant van line’s support in the nation, occasionally saving around $500 from the procedure (which clearly was not my primary concern.) In my experience with acquiring scheduling and information, I discovered that Empire stood out to the client support and sales side. Everybody was really helpful and answered all of my hard questions. That is exactly what made me pick Empire as my moving supplier. Additionally, the sales agent Jon was useful in finding ideas that would match my shifting allowance whilst obtaining wanted additional services (such as TV un-mounting and unhooking my refrigerator.) Promises made were retained! I was really happy about the move and I am grateful to all of that made this transition simple and painless equally to my pocket and nerves!! A lien was provided for my involvement in this inspection
Everything from start to end was great. The office staff were wonderful – both Vanessa and Karen were so terrific. My moving adviser Allen was quite frank and gave me sensible advice no additional moving firm did. The 4 additional quotations I’d obtained were well beneath the cubic feet and weight anticipated by Allen that worried me considerably. The day of this transfer, my ending cost was less that the quote. I was elated. The movers showed up promptly at 8am if we had a window out of 8-10am for our transfer. They had been Super Quick! Efficient. Respectful. And entire amazing. I’ll absolutely be using those professionals again for all of my shifting demands, and would urge them 100 percent to anybody searching for movers. These men will set your mind completely at ease.
I was worried about using this business after reading the testimonials on this website, but I have had an wonderful experience. I worked with Daniel and he had been fantastic to use. It ends up that they lacked the quantity of my movement, but they stuck from the quotation, which I was really undercharged for my own move. The moving group was punctually and really favorable. I am really happy I went for this particular organization. I shall update this after shipping.
Fantastic Job! Little to no obligations along with the moving team was exceptionally considerate! Can do another move together at the blink of an eye.
My spouse and I were really overwhelmed with my occupation marketing shifting us across state away from our loved ones. Our adviser Allen useful in relieving our stress. We’d lower quotes but we believed that the finest with empire. On the afternoon of this movement the men were good, hard working but cautious with how they managed the couple antiques we’d. We proceeded over 2000 kilometers and expected to wait for months to your shipping but to our surprise that they almost beat us into our new residence. When they had been in our new house the foreman simply went directly to my spouse and inquired how would you enjoy your new house setup. She targeted visitors and they put our our furniture precisely where she needed it. I only need to thank Empire for creating this stressful life event simple.
We proceeded with this corporation. I wish that there were more stars. My husband and I’ve moved throughout the nation twice and have experienced following moves inside the midwest. I wish we can say we understand nothing about going, but it’s fairly the contrary, we know much too much.
In the previous movers have over promised and under delivered. We had been told just what to expect before we agreed on a cost and booked our date for pickup. Isaac and his staff had been hardworking and made something trying enjoyable and simple. Reyna and Vanessa were patient and helpful. Overall this business exceeded our expectations. The positive attitude of everyone involved produced for an adventure unlike some other movers we have ever employed. Their pace in expediting the movement impressed me. I plan on advocating the whole organizing team and business to some of my buddies.
I’m really thankful.
I put a deposit down to get a cross country move that I’m making due to a new endeavor. The issue was I did not have a launch date yet, and understood that it might be a couple of months before all of the paperwork was set up. We made a visit to my new city and appeared at some flats and a couple of furnished houses but did not have a date yet. Afterward, once the date arrived I chose to proceed with a given place to lease so that I do not have to transfer anything before next summer. I emailed Allen K and inside a couple of moments I had an automatic email saying my whole sum of the deposit was reimbursed. It showed up on my credit card invoice within two days. Next summer once I do need to move my items, I’ll be calling Empire Moving and Storage for certain! Thank you Allen!
I was amazed at first about having a moving company however allen was really helpful with all my questions an questions. When they arrived they managed all of my possessions with care that an were true professional. Surely can use them together with any prospective moves!
After submitting online for transferring estimates I had been contacted by Empire storage and moving. The adviser was extremely pleasant and helpful. On the afternoon of this movement, the foreman was specialist respectful and very considerate. Overall I was really delighted with the pricing and service. I did cover higher than other quotations I were awarded but the caliber of professionalism and service has been well worth the purchase price.
I needed to move hardly any possessions with hardly any notice. I picked Empire since I had been impressed by Mr. Kingmans attention to detail and professionalism. He guided me through this and left my daughters begin date comfy for her. I had been on a budget but I have also been residing for 53 years so I am far from a dummy. I had been quoted quite low costs from firms. Some were more economical than a thousand dollars and I did not even waste my time together. I had been given a price which I felt was honest and guaranteed a $75 dollar rebate with this review when my daughter had been content with the service in general. I socialized with 9 employees complete. I met with a total of 6 and talked with 3. They were all outstanding and known that their responsibilities. I am an aviation planner for ***** and that I wish I had a few of those men on my team functioning together with me regular.
WOW,what a fantastic firm, indicate pursuit was my sales rep, each and every time I called he replied, fast delivery wonderful loading and unloading exceptionally recommended!!! Request mark. Thank you empire for making my move a smooth and enjoyable transaction.
I opted to engage Empire following my cousin’s refferal of these according to his own personal experience. I did do a bit of research and discovered them to be reliable, rather priced with years of expertise as a specialist inspector. On the afternoon of the movement, they came on time and proceeded everything fast. They were friendly and efficient. I wound up paying a bit less than my initial quote because I chose to not have a couple of things in the last moment. Overall, I recommend these men if you’re searching for top tier support without needing to break the bank.
They came now, did an wonderful job on packaging and wrap today. Will keep inspection upgrade following shipping, however, its looking fantastic for the time being.
A co worker recommended that I utilize Empire Moving &Storage because of the transfer out of OH into CO.. My spouse and I felt quite comfortable after moving over all of our worries with our contact man and we had been given a reasonable cost for them to deal with everything with what had been clarified as a white glove services. I’ve not ever moved before. My husband has double past with his organization but wasn’t able to be together with me personally. I had been quite anxious throughout the transfer and agree I can be somewhat difficult sometimes. There were a couple modest issues in the start with what would and couldn’t be packaged but all in all we were really pleased. The team was professional in my house which was among the things which frightened me the many considering I needed to be there alone with my kids. I promised to provide some comments and I am sorry it took a long time. Happy to say that settling in to our new house has become more trying than the transfer itself. I won’t be pleased if we must go again in the subsequent 20 decades! Lol However, our expertise with Empire was eloquent just as promised.
My family moved from CO to NC to get a work chance back in the summer of 2015. I was contacted recently and provided a rebate of $50-$100 to article opinions of my expertise so here goes. Someone from Client Support called me a couple of days ahead of the transfer and informed me of this time period for pickup. They had been about 10-15 minutes late but I was super impressed with their work ethic and attention for my things. My estimator Allen emphasized to me personally when we took our time through the sampling process that their might be little to no cost increase on the date of movement and desired me to worry that in this review. The team was very considerate and never asked me for whatever through their work time. The sole damaged thing was a flimsy dvd rack which we purchased from Walmart about ten decades ago so that we never even mentioned it before this inspection and hope people understand that it had been nothing!
This experience really took a great deal of stress from my Wife.We had twins around 5 weeks prior to the move. The transfer was smooth at pickup and we had been sent toward the latter portion of the shipping spread that we were conscious of up front. There wasn’t any better way to put a grin in my Wife’s head compared to for this movement to go easily. We’d like to thank the team (can not recall all of their titles ) and everybody who represents this provider. Keep doing good work guys and perhaps we will speak with you again if I get a much greater job opportunity elsewhere!
