The initial quote for my movement was around $1300 that is the reason why I went for this firm. The rest of the quotes were well over $2000. In addition they incorporate this”Do-no-exceed-estimate” clause in there arrangement. They were quite easy to communicate with and typically responded to my queries in a few hours. On moving day I discovered that my flat doesn’t adapt 18-wheelers (52′ trailers) along with the moving firm added an additional $300 to get a”shuttle” charge. Being that I’d never had a major move in this way, I’d no thought to inquire about it. The movers also included an additional $150 for packaging my furniture things in blankets. The movers came 3 hrs following the pickup window they’d given. On delivery day, I discovered that I had to book the freight elevator in my apartment building and of course it had been reserved for the shipping window that I scheduled with the movers. The movers were very accommodating and pushed my delivery for some later moment. I had been charged an extra $150 for the long haul out of the delivery truck into my flat. This chance has been revealed to me at the contract. The movers were very considerate and helped build some furniture which wasn’t contained in the contract. No furniture has been lost or damaged in the transfer. I end up paying approximately $1900 after each of the extra fees they included. Albeit $600 in extra charges, I’d still use this company and recommend it to other people, simply be conscious of the all of the charges involved.
