Eagle Global Carrier

I typically do not do reviews but I had been so pleased with Eagle Global Carrier, it is just perfect. I am employed as a government contractor and need to move a number of times. Fantastic customer support and friendly, clean movers. These men were freaking awesome! They predicted beforehand on going day and showed up in time. The movers wore clean clothes. One of my pet peeves is filthy movers round my stuff. They took excellent care packaging and moving my things. They were so efficient and quick, my projected quote was less. If you’re trying to find a federal inspector, look no more. I’ll always use them from now on. I would strongly suggest Eagle Global Carrier. Oh! I nearly forgot! If you see their own”About Our Support” page on their site, you will find a lot of coupons you may use to apply to your move. Use them!

I wouldn’t recommend EGC. To begin with, in the weeks leading up to the transfer, I couldn’t get anyone out of your compnay to phone me backagain. I called daily for 4-5 times and left messages requesting them to confirm pick up time, payment, etc.. It was only when I left a message stating I’d call the BBB if somebody did not return my phone that I eventually got a call from them. This occurred multiple times.  We were confident we are the very first pick up of this afternoon and the rep said it’d be involving 8-10am. The driver didn’t appear till after 1pm. While at our flat, he also asked me to run outside and get him a coffee, which I did. He didn’t offer to reimburse me for this, which I thought was unbelievably rude.  They also charged me an extra $1200 the day of the transfer. This is merely that the MO for these kinds of organizations. They quote you a cost well below what they expect to bill you, then on the afternoon of, they reevaluate the quote as well as upcharge you. It is sickening.  The one great thing was that they all got our items to our new place immediately, but the motorist on the shipping end attempted to charge us again since the boxes were not packed on to the truck correctly. We clarified that it was not our problem — his folks loaded the truck!  Finally, they dropped among those curtain rods and said nothing to people about it, so that they did not assess the invetory list whatsoever against what they unpacked.  You’re better off using a more reputable company, even when their quotation is greater. Finally, we paid considerably greater than anticpated and weren’t in any way satisfied with the client services.
