E-Z Movers

This was my next cross country movement, and therefore I had been amazed and appalled by my own expertise using E-Z Movers. They’d almost $700 in hidden charges (the compulsory”shuttle service” which almost doubled the total cost of this transfer although I had been told on both pickup and delivery which it was discretionary ). Shame on me! As soon as I informed the driver upon delivery which I had not anticipated the other fees, he almost ran me over with the dolly and stated he was likely to depart and ditch my items from the road if I did not pay. When I called the company, they kept throwing me to voicemail and, once I finally did speak to some girl, she had been extremely rude and did not lift a finger to be useful. Do your self a favor and select another moving company that will not benefit from you.

This business should seriously be closed down. I’ve moved throughout the nation a few times and never have I had such a dreadful move compared to person by E-Z. My client advisor actually threatened me about the moving day with having the staff depart, since I informed me there was no road parking we had a loading dock. He said that I had been an idiot and there was not any loading dock. He was probably incorrect. They then came to send my furniture onto a very different day than that which they stated. I was advised that I needed to allow it to happen or else they would take my items. To make things worse, I was not prepared to take ownership of my house but they also made me sign a statement saying that it all arrived fine. I felt quite bullied into registering. The business is run by a lot of thugs. Furthermore you need to pay money for if they arrive. If you do not have money they’ll take your items. They don’t require any kind of charge cards. The most important thing is just one of my item of furniture has been destroyed in the transfer. Among my own televisions was crushed. And I am unable to locate the audio bar for the additional tv. They really stole items from me. Needless to say, they aren’t likely to do anything regarding it. No matter what you do do not work for this business.

Moved from Chicago to Charlotte two weeks ago. Our items are still sitting at a warehouse at Skokie, IL. The business can not provide me a day as it will send. Will likely not ever see our things again. Awful customer support, only a flat out scam of a business. Take your cash and your items and run. Don’t Use E-Z Movers from Skokie, IL. Pay more for superior support.

1-) The occupation has been subcontracted to another moving company with no approval and debate. The men who arrived to pick up things didn’t introduced properly. I had a contract using E-Z exemptions, they were presumed to pick up my things involving 08/22 to 08/24. Yet on Friday 08/23 in my telephone, they advised me that cannot make it on Saturday and will have the ability to pick up the things weekly. However I had been flying into GA on 08/26 2am. The contact man explained that he will phone back after talking with his or her management. On my telephone in the day they explained that they’ll pick up the things on Sunday 08/25. They didn’t inform me that the project was subcontracted. After the movers arrived to my home for its pickup, they released since E-Z Movers. Once they picked up all of the things, gave me fresh invoice and requested for complete payment. The bill has been from Southern Van traces. Then upon my inquiring, I had been advised that they have the job and I want to cover them in full. In addition they added Fuel prices and Substance fees for approx of 400 /- (a bit less). Upon some debate, I gave them 400 /- so that I buy sometime and speak to E-Z Movers concerning it.

Two -) Incorrect contact (sub contractor) has been supplied. The bill I obtained following the pickup had wrong contact information from Southern VanLines. Afterwards I discovered that the shifting was completed by Sunshine (a thing, dont possess the entire business details as I had not been advised ).

3-) Payment Conditions were broken. Per my contract with all E-Z movers. I needed to pay 25 percent originally that I did, then 75 percent through credit card on pickup and remaining in cash on shipping. Following the pickup, I had been requested to pay in full of money. Upon debate I paid $400 in money as that has been my very last day and wished to speak to E-Z Mover in regards to the circumstance.

4-) Unauthorized / shared fees. I had been billed approx $400 for gasoline surcharge and substances (187.12 + 100.50 to be precise ). They hold up things and requested me to cover first the complete number including the ones that are contested. I predicted E-Z Movers on 08/30 and emailed them regarding the circumstance. I had been requested to cover the quantity and receive my things. E-Z Movers consented to pay back the request fees. I paid the residual amount and obtained my things on 09/07

5-) Things and land (shipping ) has been ruined. The products were managed quite unprofessionally and a lot of these were damaged considerably. The house was ruined also. The shipping driver explained that he doesn’t do the job for the business and dont care for any firm.

6-) Delay and No-response on assert from E-Z Movers or their own partner. The claim for compensation and damages of unauthorized fees were filed to 09/10 (or so) but failed to obtain any upgrade and appropriate reaction.
