The salesman isn’t stating the fact by insisting that my move won’t require over two hour. The movers are idle and stretch the hours to get that which they charge $95.00/hr.
Worst shifting encounter in my entire life!! NEVER NEVER NEVER believe this company to get a move!!
I called to ask their services 3 months prior to my transfer and they charged a deposit into my Amex of $75 as formal and reservation contractual obligation. On the transfer date, they never came and when I phoned them, the manager/owner from the title of David shouted at me and stated DZ wouldn’t supply services provided and would provide no reason; once I asked what his name was that he hung me up. Their sales supervisor, ended up referring me to a different firm, which incidentally I believe is a pre-arranged arrangement between both firms, and because I had no option given how hard it’s to maneuver in NY (elevator bookings, insurance certificates, etc.), I had been hand tied.
The cost offered by DZ initially was 380 for 3 hours and three men (believe a little studio flat ). The distance from 1 spot to another was no longer than 10 minutes by car. In total, I ended up paying $1,130.
I’ve talked to David several occasions and he’s clearly said that he won’t go back the $75 deposit even though the Company failed to supply the support. In reaction to this, I registered a complaint at the Better Business Bureau and phoned him again to ask about my deposit along with his remedy was exactly the same, crying at me and stating that he had gotten the criticism and that”I’d gotten horrible.”
Seriously I really don’t know why businesses like DZ Moving may still be in business and the way in which they let their employees to treat customers like this.
