    Long-distance move from Mississippi
    Very friendly but really late

First made contact in early May. Decide on a pickup date according to if I needed that the cargo to arrive. For the shipment to arrive on June 15th, my advisor urged a pickup date of the 5th of June. He’d state that deliveries may happen to the warehouse a couple of days earlier or a couple of days following the scheduled date. I thought about that for a couple of days and decided to return to reschedule the pickup. We spoke for about 30 minutes and determined that a May 31st pickup would guarantee delivery into the warehouse by June 11th that would provide me the flexibility to get it send from the warehouse to the 15th of June, aFriday. I had been told I’d be predicted by means of an agent two weeks before pickup to program a moment. 48 hours came and went without a call. Telephone to Door to Door and spoke to Customer Support. Apparently they never told the broker the date altered. After some time, the broker did appear on the right moment. I was then informed I’d be known as the day that the shipment arrived in the warehouse. Yet more, the scheduled afternoon came and went without a call. A call to customer support again and they said it needs to arrive in 2 days and they’d make certain to telephone. Again, no more telephone. About the 15th of June (4 months following the expected date) some other call to customer services. A call back and they said that they can send on Wednesday, not mind I just began a new project, therefore that I had to cover Saturday delivery using a PROMISE they’d call 48 hours before schedule a moment. Guess what? No telephone. A call to customer support again to nail down a moment. Fortunately the shipping driver was at the top of it and showed up on time on Saturday, dispatch intact. The best thing about this business is that’s everybody is really NICE and apologetic and ready to helpbut they’re not at the top of it. If you’re eager to spend the requirements and are extremely flexible on dates, then it is well worth the hassle since the cost is really great. My shipment, two crates was 2400 in comparison to $4700 estimate out of Pods and $7800 in Upack.

    Long-distance move from Pennsylvania
    Don't use Door to Door

Overview: Not worth the bother of your possessions being sent into the farthest place away from the intended destination and alive with no possessions for just 1 month. Customer support agents don’t have any capacity of assisting you. They utilize an archaic (newspaper ) monitoring system in order that they will not understand where your container is. Poor management and lack of responsibility. I had a very long distance move from Pennsylvania to Texas. The estimated date of shipping in date of container pickup was two weeks. Total container has been picked up 8/3/2015 and came at Texas on 8/13/2015, not too bad right? On the other hand, the things that they could provide was 8/19/2015 so that is an extra 6 days with no possessions (no mattress, no furniture, no clothing, no kitchenware/cookware, no seats, no comforts, whatever you place in the transferring container). Come 8/19/2015, we get a call stating that our moving container isn’t in Texas and they haven’t any idea where it’s. The business takes two business day to determine what happened. Customer support agents don’t have any hint or capacity to determine what’s happening. Turns out, they sent our transferring container from Texas to Seattle, Washington (the weakest location potential from Texas and Pennsylvania in a period of 6 weeks of this container being in your planned destination). Even understanding, they wouldn’t quit mid-transport and flip it all around. They needed to await the moving container to get there at Seattle and then transport it back into Texas. They stated that this has been a”sexy priority” which”everybody knows that this container will be sent to you whenever you can”. The moving container comes back in Texas around 8/28/2015. The soonest they could provide is 9/2/2015. We needed to phone to shout at them to make them send our transferring container on 9/1/2015. Their normal rate of compensation would be $25/day for each single missed business day (doesn’t include weekends) of the container not being sent. For the own sanity and serenity of mind, don’t utilize Door to Door.
